I love when I'm visiting the area going here. All the stands are great. I always get some steaks, BBQ, soursop, and miscellaneous vegetables. Clean location. Lots of parking. Everything is friendly. See you next time I am in the area.

Mark Neurohr-Pierpaoli

Google
Two excellent butchers inside: Pulaski Meat Products and Cartlidge's Quality Meats. Quirky gift shops, good food stands (don't sleep on the Italian hot dog from Ray's Market Cafe), plus fresh produce at the farm stands. Get a pint of perfect ice cream from Halo Farms next door after shopping and eating lunch.

Google
The two times that visited (first on Sunday and again late Saturday) we found the market not very crowded. I would imagine things will pickup in mid-summer to late fall.

Google
I can’t get enough of this place! This was my second visit and it’s so much fun! You can literally get everything from fruits and veggies to soaps, clothing, bread and dessert. The weekend seems to have more vendors but everyone is always friendly regardless of when you visit. The bbq stand…let’s just say the brisket beats any we had in Texas or the south in general. My only qualm- hours are confusing. Facebook says one thing, recording says another. In this day and age, Facebook trumps all so I went with that.

Google
Awesome farmers market. I really enjoyed the smaller scale of the place and the low-key vibes. I was able to enjoy myself very much. I’ll definitely be back.

Ricardo Fernandez

Google
Really good farmers market with fairly good selection of products from vegetables, to hard to find edible mushrooms, to polish kielbssa, to Amish meats and Amish foods including great fried chicken, to BBQ ribs and brisket with standard sides, to flowers and plants, to breads. Right next door, walking distance, is Halo farms for dairy, juice, bread and fantastic ice cream. Plenty of parking. Nice ambiance. Very friendly. Busy but not crowded.

Google
I stopped in here today for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. There were a lot of great vendors here. And I was able to eat lunch and grab dessert. It was pouring rain today, and the bathroom is in a separate building where you have to get a key to get inside. I was also hangry when I got here and some guy was trying to force me to talk to him about some charity. Other than that, a very good experience. I love that there are two vegan places to eat here.

Google
This was my children, my 2 niece's first ever going to Trenton Farmers Market. The vendors were very nice and courtesy to us .The nice gentleman in our pictures was taking the time out to instruct my luvs on how to crave a pumpkin. Plus the arts, contest the Market has to offer. I will revisit again.

Yelp
Came for their Restaurant Weekend Event but sadly, I came on a Sunday and there wasn't much going on. Many of the stalls were empty and even though I did see a sign for the event, that, too, was empty. I did, however, patronize the Tea-For-All and The Pie-d Piper stalls for breakfast and they were lovely. Very warm and welcoming people working there. I asked the locals about their recommendations so I will be back to Trenton Farmer's Market. And, I saw some stalls that I wished were open. I'll give it another shot.

Yelp
I went during the winter and on a Sunday, so of course, not all the stores were open and the produce available was very limited. However, every store that I saw did take cash or card. There is abundant parking and it's easy to go inside, but make sure to remember your reusable bag. I love how much lighting there is inside the market and you don't feel like it's very cramped. I almost feel like I'm in a greenhouse! There is a good selection of vendors, but not enough that it's overwhelming and no one is trying to haggle with you. Monday, I hope to be able to try some of the hot food that's available during weekdays.

Yelp
I live in the area and go almost every weekend. Great prices, friendly local vendors, great connection to the community.

Yelp
This place is amazing, it's a great way to spend an early afternoon and get most (if not all) of the food you need for the week. This market has all sorts of gorgeous, local fruits and vegetables. There are several permanent gift shops with the unique and local (although note to the ceramic and pottery artisans - stamp or sign your art!). There are even small restaurants and oh it goes on and on. If you enjoy buying local, this market is a must stop. It's shaped like an X so you can make sure to see all they have to offer, and seem to have a goodly amount of parking. Just take care of you're turning left to get out.

Yelp
Maybe it's the time I visited, but the Trenton Farmers Market doesn't seem to be as good as it was two decades ago. Over half of the stands and displays were empty, and the customers were few. It looks like a half dozen local farms bring produce to the Market. There's a number of other vendors, including a good looking butcher, and places to get something to eat -- including an Amish restaurant.

Sam P.

Yelp
I was in town for an event and was looking for something to do in my down time. We saw the farmers market and decided to walk through. I am so glad we did. Such a great place. The BBQ was very good, the produce and the prepared food looked great. The highlight was the donuts!! They were absolutely fantastic, if I made the trip to NJ and all I got was the donuts it would have been worth it.

Yelp
Not a lot to see here, but what is here is pretty cool. Vegan food is aces, and the Out of the Box store is like a curated version of the stellar Punk Rock Flea Market that's often in the area. Lady who runs it is cool too. There's some fresh Amish food and produce and garden plants throughout. Not a whole lot too navigate here. It's sort of like a mini Columbus Flea market with less of a crowd.

Yelp
The primary reason I visit the Trenton Farmer's Market is Pulaski Meats. They have some really awesome Polish sausages, cold cuts, cheeses and assorted European specialties. We also bought some baked goods at Pied Piper and they were a big hit with the kids. Beyond these two favorites, there are also a couple of establishments inside offering food and drinks. The atmosphere in the market isn't all that inviting, so if we get prepared food, we usually take it to go. As far as fresh produce goes, I find the produce offerings to be really hit and miss. Some days they have stalls loaded with fresh produce and I can't believe how lucky I am to have this place so close to home. Other days it's nearly empty and I ask myself, "Is this even a real Farmer's Market"? It really lacks that farmer's market bustle at times. Overall, the Trenton Farmer's Market is not really consistent enough for me to make it a regular shopping stop. The market is cool and all, but sometimes it just feels like a run down supermarket with a great Polish deli inside. Three stars from me. Good spot, but it could be a lot better.
google avatar

Mallory S.

Yelp
I love getting my fresh produce here. A lot of organic options. One farm has sugar plums and they are SO good! I've never seen them anywhere else. The only thing is the hours are weird and not all farm stands are open all days.

Yelp
Neat place. Probably booming in summer and during the holidays, and when there's not a pandemic. Lots of vendors, farmers, and stalls with fresh produce, butcher shops, florists, trinkets, tchotchkes, and other little bits and bobs. Bought delicious green beans. Prices were fair, and it felt good to support something local.

Yelp
After more than six years an update was due. While it's still not quite 5 stars, I'm finding I like the market more than my previous review stated. Sadly a few of the vendors I mentioned are not here anymore( Amish market and 2 small bakeries) the new additions make up for them in terms of diversity. There is now a vegan cafe that I'm remiss in not trying, a tea shop, coffee shop, Caribbean food, mushroom grower, bulk foods and a few more I'm probably forgetting. Here are my personal favs in no order: Hambone Opera- it took me way too long to try it. The best pulled chicken and brisket that I've ever had, some say that about the ribs too. Pied piper - home made pirogi, stuffed cabbage, meatballs and potato salads all great. Pasties are top notch too. Kreyol Kafe- Caribbean food that is comforting in all aspects. Try the Mac n cheese! Pineland farms - all produce is great here but this is my number one choice for corn in the whole of Mercer county and beyond. Possibly the best for blueberries as well. Terra Momo bread - I could never make it to Princeton location early enough to ensue a good selection. They are still growing their business here but most Saturday's I've noticed a good variety of items available at noon. Any loaves are great here, but I always order the chocolate brioche treat. Cartlidges meats - amazing steaks and other cleaner than super market meats. Zooks Amish chicken pot pies are here too! The one draw back to all of this good local stuff is that it comes at a premium. I've been told that farm markets were not always like this. Hell, my parents loved them because they were saving a buck. Now with rising food costs they have had to raise the prices even higher. When produce is in season there are deals to be had at some stands, but for early in the season items expect to pay dearly. I think you pay for what you get here for the most part. The corn may be .25 higher per ear, but it's been picked that morning at a location you can be aware of. And the same goes for many other produce items found here. I'll support this place as long as I live here, and more frequently when I know it's attracting diverse and high quality purveyors of all foods.

Yelp
Anywhere I can go and buy fresh local produce, meats and pies is A-OK by me. We always meet someone we know from town and chit-chat. Stopping by for lunch is also a nice option. We usually go to The Lady and The Shallot. She is always serving up goodies from the market and everything is vegan. After lunch F must stop at the Amish stand for a fresh made ice cream only, strawberry shake. I'm so glad we have this wonderful option in our City.

Tina W.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in for the first time recently! I would recommend going there if you don't like the Columbus crowds! Lots of fresh Produce fresh and we found a few good food vendors that we would definitely go to again!

James C.

Yelp
Great BBQ joint here. Sometimes they are out of certain menu items ...as to be expected. The brisket is my favorite.

Melissa H.

Yelp
Not much to see. Perhaps because it was a Sunday, it I thought there would be a better selection of vegetables. I really wasn't interested in pastries.

Yelp
We'd say this is more like a Public Market (a la Seattle's Pike Place Market which was my second "home" while in college) than a Farmers Market. But that would be splitting hairs and by whatever name this is a great place. In Trenton. Who knew? Fortunately for us, the answer to that question is friends of ours did and we visited the market with them two weeks ago. We found.. ... several vendors with lovely seasonal produce like beautiful peppers of all kinds and late Jersey tomatoes and apples ...a couple of bakers specializing in pie ...a sweets candy shop run by Amish vendors that seemed to specialize in things needed for baking ...a Polish meats vendor ...a winery with tasting table set up. To name but a few of the many options. But our two favorite vendors were these: 1) VITELLO & SONS Italian deli serving up sandwiches, deli items, and a couple of wonderful, fresh seasonal salads. We chose the yummy fresh fig and sweet potato gnocchi salad to take along with sandwiches on a picnic in Buck's County afterward. (BIG sandwiches...plan to split one.) The other salad option on the day of our visit was one that contained fresh apples and fennel and looked great too. Vitello's also has some packaged items, like pastas, and an array of fresh frozen ravioli's and home made sauces. There were obviously a number of regulars coming in and some were asking about "next week's stuffed artichokes". Made us wish we could have returned the next week ourselves! 2) The cheese vendor (just a couple of stalls down from Vitello's) and the name of which I did not note was offering a broad array of great looking (and smelling) cheeses. And as wonderful surprise, she had burrata! For only $10 each!! Unbelievable!!! The burrata was great as part of our dinner the next day. As for logistics, we were there on a Saturday and it was crowded, but the big parking lot provided ample spaces to park.

Yelp
This was my first time here. I went with the girls and it was a beautiful day out. Quite deceiving on size of place. So much to see, sample and buy. From Polish meats to organic produce. The prices on produce are a little too high for me. Beautiful hand made jewelry, home made soaps, candles, skin and body products the possibilities are endless. Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish mixed in. Organic Grains, Pastries, Meats, Deli and quirky food stands. Definitely worth a trip every week. Their hours are like any Amish place, Thursday,Friday and Saturday but worthy of many check ins. I can't wait to go back. You also have Halo Farms right next door. It reminds me of the place I go to in PA in Quakertown. The prices are all across the board. They also have a Vegan restaurant, Haitian soul food, BBQ place, Donut/cake/pie shop, Coffee shop, Tea shop and Bread shop. It can take you all day IMO to shop there. Everyone of the vendors are totally friendly and have no problem talking. I will most certainly go back with a huge list for sure.

Yelp
Meh of a place. The moth ball smell upon entering really turned me off. I HATE that smell, esp when Im around food! We scored some delicious asparagus and there was nice looking broccoli too. The Amish store's cookies and baked goods looked amazing but we were behaving. I almost bought a jade bracelet & necklace set but I needed to get going.

Yelp
Obviously, Summer and early Fall are the best times to be at the market. The selection of fresh fruits and veggies is very good. However, if you're looking for certified organic selections, you might be out of luck and have to wait for the Princeton or West Windsor markets for the organic foods. That aside, you can get just about all the regular veggies that you'd expect to see, along with the occasional unusual one. Corn and tomatoes, when in season, are especially plentiful. Even when it's not the harvest season, there are good reasons to show up at the market. There are locations in the market where you can get crepes for breakfast, tasty BBQ, bread, a wide variety of Polish meats and products, breads and cheeses. The Amish also run a place to get tasty roasted meats and desserts. Lines around lunchtime on Saturdays can be pretty long, so get your number early. They also now run the butcher in the market, which kind of sucks since they're now closed on Sundays. There's also an Amish store, which for some reason is open on Sunday. Go figure. I'm not a big fan of the knick-knack sellers in the market, but they've been there longer than I have, so somebody must like them, so more power to them. I guess this illustrates that there's something for everyone there. There's also a little shed located out back that sells fish. Check it out. You never know what types of fish they are selling from day to day. Located right across the parking lot is the Halo Dairy where you can get your very good ice cream. It's also a very popular place for families to buy their milk. I guess it's inexpensive there, because I see people walking out with barrels of it. I'm sure it's just me, but one of the produce sellers in the market always seems to be pulling their produce out of "Jersey Fresh" boxes. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I've always suspected them of buying their produce elsewhere and reselling it at the market. You'll see the ones (they don't look like farmers--however stupid that sounds), and you can make up your own mind.

Yelp
Honestly, the market itself is kind of a hole. However, there are enough vendors within that make this a worthwhile stop. I don't want to give away all its secrets. Part of the fun is in the hunt. But here you can find fresh pork roll, amazing Boston Cream donuts, a solid kielbasa sandwich, great Amish butter, potato chips fried in lard, organic produce, and a dizzying array of Polish charcuterie. Personally, I'd like to see more organic/biodynamic/spray-free produce (take your pick). And I could do without the bric-a-brac stalls. But I guess the market does reflect a sense of place. Trenton isn't fancy like Princeton, but it has some really great stuff.

Yelp
Trenton Farmer's Market is an institution from the time there were actually working (and profitable) farms around Mercer and Bucks Counties. It has seen better days, but is still a great way to get the basic foodstuffs of life all in one place, at reasonable prices, and avoid the corporatism that is the supermarket industry nowadays. If that wasn't enough of a reason to do your consuming here when possible, there are several other good ones - butchers, bakers, veggie mongers, deli delighters, and even candlestick makers who produce first rate digestibles and other things that you would be happy to eat and serve your family and friends. Yesterday I stopped in to pick up fruit, veggies, chicken, a little BBQ, and sticky sweets, to tide me over through the coming Nor'easter. The shops that were open in the afternoon were happy to have a late customer relieve them of some of their stock. I found some good deals. While in the neighborhood you can visit other great places to purchase food or just enjoy a good meal. Halo Farms, Rozmaryn, and Pho Tan are just a few of the Yelpworthy destinations to consider.

Yelp
First off I have to thank Michele R. for letting me know about this place. A woman who lives in Bend, OR (with ties to NJ) tells me about a place that I didn't even know existed even though I went to college (in the 90's) not 2 miles away. Weird. Very weird. With that information dad and I found ourselves in Trenton doing a bit more touring of the great state of NJ. After taking in a museum, it was time for lunch. It was fairly dead at the market on a Thursday, but I can see how this place would be packed on a weekend be it in the winter or the summer. There were plenty of vendors open for business. Upon walking around it looked like there was a good amount of wonderful stuff to be had. Everything from poinsettias to pumpkins. A polish meat counter selling some great looking sausages. An Amish bakery selling some interesting and tasty looking baked goods and oh so much more. I was specifically here for the Italian deli I heard about. To be continued...in my next review.
google avatar

Saba S.

Yelp
So glad to find this green market in Trenton. You can find everything you need from veggies to meat and fruit and spices. You may even get bake goods at the Amish market or other stands. My favorite thing to do is to go buy my tomatoes and herbs for my winter preserves of tomato sauce. You have to walk around and compare products and prices. I always buy more than intended, because you will find amazing deals. Make a list of things you need and try to stick to it, as the temptations are everywhere.
google avatar

Pat L.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere of this market. Have some Amish, Italian and polish stands that look like they've been around for years. At the same time, you've got newer stands selling high quality coffee and plant based meals. This market brings a great variety of vendors and the people really give it a sense of community.

Derek M.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday which I DO NOT like to do, as much of the produce is probably picked Thursday or Friday. All the string beans were kinda lame i was sad. Not a lot of cucumbers etc. Jersey tomatoes I was told two weeks.
google avatar

Sar P.

Yelp
This is my favorite farmers market - its a pleasure to meet the local farmers and the produce is excellent! They also have honey, baked goods and a bakery and so on insider!
google avatar

L H.

Yelp
Yeah! Summer hours are back, including Sunday! Open 6 days Tuesday thru Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM Sundays 10 AM - 4 PM
google avatar

Paul A.

Yelp
Some of the vendors are thieves, one selling for a much higher price than the other vendors. This is a big farmer's market with 4 wings and another market next door. Shop wisely and walk all 4 wings before you buy anything, checking prices so you don't get ripped off. The big Polish meat store is a huge PIA - you take a number, wait for a long time and when they call your number they tell you what you want is in the cooler; go get it. Not a lot of fun. Big, lots of product but don't get burned.

Valerie M.

Yelp
We've been going here forever. Mostly for the 'mood'. So many different people from different places, religions, countries and cultures all together under one roof shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, plants and meats. Prepared foods, jewelry, fashion too. People are friendly and in community. It feels like the old days.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
Wow i just saw this video of how the vendors speak to customers. I hope you take some action and solve this problem. I can only imagine how much this going to hurt the other vendors who come to the market. https://www.facebook.com/jessica.desmondjudkins/videos/vb.520791687/10154691419866688/?type=2&video_source=user_video_tab

Yelp
I'll stick with the 4 stars but I'd say the market was a little more interesting a couple of years ago. There used to be two Italian stores .They're both gone. There was a fairly upscale gourmet store - gone. The Mexican store is also gone.So while still worthwhile , a little less interesting than it used to be.
google avatar

Sean H.

Yelp
Technically not in Trenton even thought its on the border! It's more of an outside market that is covered! We stopped in just to get an onion on quick notice! Employees were very pleasant! Plenty of parking¡!!!
google avatar

Allison H.

Yelp
The farmer's market is open year-round, which is great (especially for buying seasonal produce). You can find some great deals on produce that is "imperfect" but equally tasty. There's not much in the way of organic produce, but that could also because of the politics surrounding the label "organic." Most of the produce here does come from small farms.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, I've lived in this area for 12 years, had always heard that TFM was terrific, but wow, really... Once you get past the carnival atmosphere (coincidence or intended? Dunno) the place is a real jewel. Like any bazaar, you have to sift the gems from the sand, but it's really an effort well spent. Notable for me is Vitella and Sons, a small Italian specialty shop that makes many of its own sauces and imports many staple / specialty foods from Italy. They even have a 55 gallon drum of olive oil in the middle of the shop with a pump handle on top for bottle refilling! Beyond the gee whiz factor of this, it's simply the best oil I've ever tasted. At $20 for 750ml, its an absolute steal. Equally great is the cheese shop next door, whose name currently, embarrassingly escapes me. The lady that runs it has a wonderful palate and is an absolute cheese expert. The several Dutch and French cheeses I bought there were an absolute delight. She, Vitellos and the like exist at TFM as much to share their love and passion for their specialties as for commercial endeavor. But they're in Lawrence, so their pricing elasticity is "Trentonish" - as opposed to what they'd get away with if they trekked 5 miles north to Princeton. Stay put, Trenton Farmers Market - we like you just the way you are.
google avatar

Heather L M.

Yelp
An indoor facility that's open seven days a week in the summer months. All produce sold here is grown by the farmers selling it (all local). There are also several butcher shops, a fish shop, bakeries, a cheese shop, Polish, Italian, German and Mexican specialties, gluten free products, and a bunch of other stores selling random things from socks to tobacco. There is also a food court in case you suddenly decide you're starving after staring at all that food. After you're done here, head next door to Halo Farms to grab all of your dairy. The farmer's market can handle all of your grocery shopping needs. AND, it's FRESH and sold by small businesses, not mass supermarket chains. It's the old fashioned way of shopping. Be sure to check it out!
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Do NOT be thrown off by the fact that this market is in Trenton. You WILL live. I absolutely love it here! They are on the upswing in terms of popularity, so I think it's only a matter of time before we start seeing more artisanal food products popping up in the stands among the produce and meat markets! The Amish meat market is one of my favorites. The staff there are very helpful and the food is top notch. They were happy to cut my bacon exactly the way I wanted it, and were patient with my questions about some of their items with which I wasn't familiar. Do yourself a favor and bring cash. Also, try going on a weekend as opposed to a weekday to get the full effect, and don't forget to make a trip to Halo Farms for milk and ice cream on your way out!
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
Went there on a Tuesday and only the produce stands were open. No deli, no crepes, etc. Very disappointed as I wanted to have lunch there. Saw a review or two that compared this to the Newtown Farmer's market. Here's the skinny, if you want cheap, local produce, go to the Trenton Farmer's Market. If you want lunch or hot foods for dinner, go to the Newtown Farmer's Market.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
The Trenton Farmers Market has great selection from local farms. The peaches and tomatoes are super ripe right now. Jersey corn is a must buy. The market is also inhabited by a few food vendors (Button's Creperie, Amish Food and Baked goods, Tea stand, mexican, BBQ etc) I would suggest you catch some lunch and get your fruits and veggies at the same time.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
The best thing here is King Foods, an Amish run Fried and BBQ chicken. One of the best, inexpensive and fresh. It's open on Thursdays-Sat. The vendor carts have fresh vegetables (though not organic) which are of high quality and priced competitively. And then you have next door Halo Farm which sells the best dairy. Very recommended if you are hungry and looking also for fresh produce. BTW, if your watch need fixing a skillful and honest watchmaker is there too (also Thursdays-Sat.)
google avatar

Frran V.

Yelp
Market is great but every time I stop after 4 on a Thursday or Friday almost everyone is gone... no more veggies :(

Kathy S.

Yelp
1st time checking out the market. Got jersey tomatoes, green beans and cantaloupe for a good price. Disappointed that the blueberries were higher than philly's. There were a quite a few nj farmers, amish meats and bake goods, a few vendors, a watch clock shop (does repairs) and a chiropractor that must do stuff on the spot. Picked up a pork roll, egg and cheese in a pretzel wrap. Very good! They had a bbq spot, ice cream and a european shop with homemade pierogies, stuffed cabbage and a million different sausages. Will be going back to get my watch fixed.

Yelp
I'm embarrassed to admit that I have lived in the area for almost 25 years and have never gone to the Trenton Farmers Market. The hubby and I finally had some time off last Sunday and decided to take a drive over. We arrived very late in the day so many booths had closed for the day but the ones that were left open, really made the trip worth it. Fresh bread, beans, tomatoes, cheese, olives and berries. Everything was so fresh and very reasonably priced. I've been singing the praises to anyone that will listen and I know for a fact that I'll go back!

Yelp
I have lived in Lawrenceville 17 years and until recently would shop at TFM, Last summer 2015 I rented a table @ the market from June till November 2015, Iam disabled and use a wheelchair, the business I was trying to start was selling funny tee shirts,. I realized quite quickly after the first week it was a mistake, I was rented a table By Jack the Market manager the table was in front of Pulaski meats the people that work for these processed meat purveyors instantly started causing problems for me some of which included Over charging me for Lunch meat and other things I purchased ($6.00) never speaking, stealing shirts from my table and destroying some of my merchandise, when I complained to Jack the Manager of how I was being harassed by these people he told me he would talk with the owners but he never did anything other than tell me if I didn't like where I was are what was was going on I could move somewhere else which I did after the Manager Jack started to side with these people and Jack had even threatened me because I had complained and wrote an article on facebook about how I was being bullied . I stayed in the market for a few months after this but I left because I was being harassed by Jack the Market manager and some of the farmer EMPLOYEES. . What I did see while I was there that the people that work for theses vendors daily curse customers out for no reason, cause drama among each other and give the market bad karma. After my terrible experience with the Market I still continued to shop with one or two Vendors one of my favorite people was Mayann McCabe she makes one of a kind Jewlery and I have purchased a lot of of Jewlery for friends. Friday I went to the Market to buy a Easter Gift for my friend I wanted MaryAnn to make her a necklace, I had just arrived at her table she was talking with another person making a sale I was just sitting in my wheelchair looking at her Jewlery as I had done many times when this Farmers employee whoes stand sits right next to her starts saying Vulgar nasty things to MaryAnn about me, and threatens to hurt me if I didn't like it, I choose not to confront this idiot but told him it was a mistake and left. This experience just reminded me of what I had come to know is that the Trenton Farmers Market is not a friendly family type place. The biggest problem this market has is its Management and its employees of the Farmers and Vendors who are out of control bullies. The funny thing is the nice Vendors that are there sit and talk among them selves about all of the things and much worse that goes on at that market and wonder why the market is EMPTY MOST OF THE TIME.. Yelp
You can't beat the TFM! It has everything you need. The butchers are awesome and the deli's perfection..a stroll will bring you back to the good ole days with a basket on your arm and fresh produce a plenty.. Stop by and enjoy the experience..you will be back I am sure!

Yelp
Great selection of produce and all Jersey Fresh! I don't live in Jersey anymore (moved to DC in 2008) however, this market is a must. The variety of vendors guarantee competitive prices and a good seasonal selection. When I visit my mom in Jersey, I always visit this market and it hasn't let me down yet. The bakery is excellent and so is the seasonal product.

Yelp
I love the Trenton farmers market. I try to come here every Saturday morning. A great selection of vegetables, but not a ton of organic vegetables, though there are some. Cartlidge Meats are delicious, The little Amish bakery makes amazing pumpkin bread and strawberry bread and other desserts. The pastry shop makes great rugulas and the little cookies and pastries. The barbecue restaurant make some pretty banging pulled pork, though it's a bit expensive. I love coming here throughout the year, especially around the holidays to get seasonal food. My favorite thing is the one who's things with Tehrune orchards who make some delicious wines, cider, and donuts. Tehrune orchards is also the only place there with organic veggies.

Yelp
This place was cool and good for a visit if you are nearby. Lots of stalls- cross between a farmers market and a flea market. There are amish bakeries, places to get food. Fruit and vegetable stands and then random things like avon and knitted hats and quilted placemats. The big draw is the proximity to Halo Farms- right across the parking lot. Go to the farmers market and have lunch and grab produce and random knicknacks. Amish stalls, places to grab a sandwich - awesome

Yelp
A great farmer's market that combines some of the beauty and careful proprietorship you get at fancy markets and even Pike Place Market in Seattle with an approachable, normal-person feel that makes it a nice place to comparison shop and leave with a good deal or two. On my recent Friday afternoon visit there was a variety of great produce being sold by 8 or 10 vendors, and there were several delis, small groceries, and take-out places in various states of productivity (some hopping, others closed). Produce prices were OK but not great. Some things, even some things grown in New Jersey, were cheaper at ShopRite, but most things here had probably been picked more recently than what was at ShopRite.

Yelp
If you like apples, tomatoes, fresh meats, pie, or flowers, you can't beat it. The food court is always a treat. There is a flea market/bazaar feel to the place that you just can't fake. Owned and operated by Ewing Township Mayor Jack Ball, it has a community driven spirit and purpose that is admirable, but also fun, family oriented, and beautiful, in its own way.
