Awesome atmosphere and a pretty garden area in the front. Really relaxing and chilled with lovely music- the woman singing was great!lots of Tacos and small plates to try, the mushroom tacos were my favourite! Really lovely place to just sit and enjoy a drink also. Call by on an evening and enjoy the garden!

The assortment of tacos were some of the most exceptional Mexican food I’ve experienced. The atmosphere is darling, and the staff were wonderful. I couldn’t recommend visiting this venue more highly. They also have live on Wednesday nights too.

Very chill vibes and delicious food! My favorite burrito in town is their steak burrito. Always a great experience. Come here if you want a great atmosphere with great music and food. They even occasionally have live music. Theresa and her staff are so great about making sure my wifes food is allergen friendly. They make the Baja Avacado Tacos special so they're egg free and gluten free. If you're also looking for quality cocktails look no further. The Pasion is an awesome chocolate cocktail that I've had way too many of.

Carlos made us feel like home. First time here , was pulled by the atmosphere and decor . The friendly service helped us with their best recommendations and oh wow we weren’t disappointed. The food was DELICIOUS! Would recommend this as a sure place to try out ! Thank you Carlos !!

Fonsi (our server + the owner) is SO kind and so sweet. My boyfriend and I are from Texas and came to Tulum for a romantic getaway and ended up finding this bar/restaurant while on the way to somewhere else and had to make the stop. The food was incredibe!!! We absolutely LOVED this place!!!!! Absolutely would come back to Tulum just to visit here again!!!

Amazing seafood in La veleta. We tried a variety of tacos and tostadas and they were all delicious. Carlos was our waiter and he was great. Would def come back.

Lettuce shrimps are amazing! Good selection of tacos and descent portions, good with allergies too :) They have live music on Wednesdays Gabriella and a team always took a great care of us, it really became our local place!

Huge menu. Rooftop pool. Food is always consistent and delicious. Nothing fancy but always hits the spot. Great go to restaurant in La Veleta Tulum. We come here all the time. Open fairly late too around 12:30am

The service was great. The guys had juuuust opened but they greeted us like family. We tried several different options in our group of six and everything was delicious. The drinks were fresh and tasty as well. Give these guys a try!

Three years and a new location later, we found it! Same amazing food and drinks, service oriented staff, and a chill atmosphere. A little out of the way, but so worth it. The service was very enthusiastic and happy to be there. The ambiance is lovely, with fresh jungle plants in a vase on the table and a lit candle. We forgot bug spray and our ankles were getting eaten but thankfully the server had bug spray available to us. What a life saver! The food was amazing!!! I recommend the soft shell crab taco, and the ceviche is perhaps the best value for flavor and size we have seen in Mexico all week.

Really great ceviche and crab tacos. Good variation of salsas from non spicy to very spicy. Enjoyed the ambiance it is in tune with the Tulum vibes. Great service

This is a very cool place in their newer location. My daughter and I met some friends here for dinner. I ordered the Baja Shrimp Tacos as a few others did in our group. The atmosphere is really something and a casual laid back appeal makes this a Pueblo favorite. I see all the 5 star reviews and thinking ok this will be great and it was. It was in the early evening and the restaurant was more on the dark side( use your phone light to read the menu) . I also ordered a coffee liquor drink which was good. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. With one exception...... I got a bacterial disturbance in my gut later that night and it lasted to mid morning the next day. Some people call it Montezuma's Revenge . You know where you spend the majority of your time when this intestinal bacteria infection comes on you. The people in our group that ordered the Baja Shrimp Tacos had the same thing as I, but it was a 2 to 3 day event for them. So please beware, it may be just a fluke this happened at this restaurant. I will come back to Tulum, but not sure I will eat at this restaurant, maybe have a cerveza or two. I give the ambiance of the place 5 stars, but being violently I'll from eating there I give it overall 2 stars.

I stopped in for a quick lunch and was so happy I did! I ordered the shrimp tacos, shrimp costra, and the beef costra. Everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Service was also super friendly!

This was our first meal in Tulum. It was a great start, but we had some better meals after. There were some standout items on the menu like the soft shell crab taco and the surf and turf burrito. And the service was super attentive. Ultimately though not everything we ate was worth the price.

We walked pass this place several times during our stay here in Tulum and the gorgeous exterior always caught my eyes. I'm glad we finally decided to drop by this evening. We were fortunate to get a cute table right out front. The happy hour runs from 1700-1900 and they have 2x1 margaritas and mojitos. We got the margarita with Mezcal and the mojito. They were both tasty and full of alcohol (that you can't taste). The margarita was tasty and garnished very photogenically with slice of grapefruit and a red salt rim. The mojitos here in Mexico is less sweet than the ones back in the States, but was still good. We enjoyed the scenery and the lovely drinks. We also got the fish al pastor tacos. It comes with 3 sauces: a mild green sauce, habanero peanut sauce (orange) and a spicy red chili oil. They were all really nice. The tacos were filled with large amount of fish and pineapple pieces. The flavor was nice and the balance of sweet pineapple coming through was fabulous. I'm so glad we stopped by and enjoyed this cute restaurant. It is definitely worth our visit. Btw they add in gratuities with the bill at the end.

I am sooo glad I made it out to this restaurant for dinner. It was a little bit further out from all the main restaurants in downtown but SO worth it! The service was amazing, and the food definitely lived up to the 5 star reviews on Yelp! I had never tried tiradito before coming here and omg it has quickly become one of my favorite dishes! The tacos left me speechless, I'm honestly just looking forward to coming back here during my next tulum trip!

Great place, many years a fan. New location is cool and more chill. The really dark in house hot sauce is smoky and unique on planet earth, definitely try it.

Great Tacos & Vibe. This was my first dinner but I didn't even get to enjoy the tacos so much because of the amazing vibes and drinks. Will be going back for sure. PUT IT ON YOUR LISTS PEOPLE :)

Stumbled across this place from the good reviews. This place didn't disappoint and had a cute vibe to it. Staff is friendly and they even walked around with mosquito repellent a few times. Will visit again when I return

This place is bomb.com! The husband and I decided to go exploring around downtown Tulum in search of seafood tacos. I mean, we are in a seaside town right?? We were seated immediately and the server was attentive and spoke great English. We wanted to try the octopus tacos, but they said it was not in season at the time so we got the Baja shrimp, Baja fish and fish "carnitas" tacos. All 3 were fantastic with the batter being crisp and a good amount of protein in each taco. Also at a very reasonable price. Same with drinks! They are 2 for 1 during happy hour but normally priced at $5 USD each which is super solid for a good mezcal margarita. Honestly, I haven't had good fish tacos in such a long time (last time was when I lived in San Diego which was around 2013), so I was very very pleased. My only regret is not going back a second time! Definitely one of the top food places we loved in Tulum.

Welcoming smiles and amazing cocktails awaits you!! The exterior caught our eye as we walked downtown Tulum. We made a mental note to stop in and are we ever stoked that we did!! The staff was just genuinely cool people. Get the Horchata Pirate So tasty that my hard to please husband's palette was in awe. So we ordered another round for the table!! The men were craving al pastor across the street or else we would have stayed for food. But we're here for a few more days and we'll be back!!

I had this restaurant bookmarked and ended up here on Friday night ... and Saturday night for dinner. The interior is setup in a romantic and cozy way with mood lighting and during the day, the outdoor is overflowing with bouganvillea flowers. The first day, we had: Marlin & Shrimp Burrito Soft Shell Crab Taco Fish Carnita Taco Tuna Tostada Fried banana with ice cream and dulce de Leche The second day, we had: Marlin Burrito Ahi Tuna Salad Literally every single item was tastefully created and they all looked like a treat! I can't believe how good everything tasted. It was mind blowing! The food was definitely pricier than other places but you can tell they put a lot of effort into creating these dishes. The owner (I'm guessing) is really friendly and explained each dish. We ended up asking for no bacon for the burritos and he happily obliged. The service was top-notch and ahhh, I miss all of the dishes. They are only option from 5pm onwards btw so dinner and drinks are your only option!

If you're sick and tired of all the instagram popular places that aren't as good and not worth the money while in Mexico-- this is the place for you! It's such a cute little gem and the food is SO GOOD. It's so good we actually ate here twice during our trip and it was very inexpensive. The drinks were amazing and it was one of our favorites places to eat while in Tulum. Do yourself a favor and skip the Instagram famous spots for tres galeones- you'll be so glad you did!

This place is awesome!!! Totally recommend! Very affordable for the quality and amount. We had octopus tacos and ceviche, everything was delicious. The drinks were great too. Patio is a cute vibe with cool music. Staff was very sweet. 12/10 a great spot!

Great ambience, especially Thursday evenings which features fabulous live music. Seafood was was well priced and delicious!

From the drinks to the food the quality is A1. The good energy and vibes here are A1 as well. And of course the service matches. Which makes this place a 360 A++++. Highly recommended!!!!

Servicio muy amable y atentos. Los tacos estaban muy ricos (pulpo pibil y camarón baja) pero lo que estuvo de rechupete fueron las costras de camarón junto con las salsitas que te ofrecen. Muy rico!

Best taco on the planet. Do not ever buy a taco anywhere else for any reason. We want to hire the chef to cater at our wedding. If anyone knows how to get in touch with them, you can come too.

They moved locations and we found that out by driving 20 minutes out of our way to get there and seeing a sign on the door. Their new location address on google maps takes you to an empty field in the middle of a slum. We wasted over an hour trying to get here before giving up

Surf and turf burro was cool but nothing to write home about. Had the soft shell crab tacos and they were ahhh ok. Passion fruit mojito was decent but the seeds kinda ruined it. Usually you'll see those blended up so they sit in the bottom of the glass.

Got the 2 vegetarian tacos they had on the menu and they were so good that I had to order another two. These had to be the best tacos I have ever had. And I don't just say that. I want to go back to Tulum just for another round. Highly recommend this spot!

Amazing restaurants! Lots of health dishes and reasonable prices. Might be too hot insight sometimes but otherwise the place is perfect.

BEST TACOS EVER IN THE CITY! Love the service, ambiance, and food! We stayed in the city and went here every night. We tried all the tacos and I think the steak tacos were the best. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Communication was great too. It's very clean here. I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for tacos. :)

We ran into this place by accident and let me tell you we are so lucky we did. The staff is very welcoming and very knowledgeable with their food and drink choices. The place is adorable and the music is great (no loud and goes good with the restaurant theme). We had the fish tacos with chicharrón and the fish tacos in adobada. To drink we had a limonada and my fav the Mexican mule. Highly recommend this Tulum gem.

The fish al pastor tacones are amazing ! I had the avocado tacos as well and they were amazing ! Drinks are tasty and the prices are very good compared to other good places in Tulum

Wow oh Maya! The Baja Tacos were unbelievable and so refreshing. I especially adored the spicy hot sauces. My family ordered a combantion of tacos with the Pastor Fish being their favorite. The ceviche was super fresf, and the margarati was extremely smooth. Oh, the music was a refreshing obscure 60's 70's Americana a relief from the nerve racking Techno of the beach.

Location moved and was hard to find. Now located at Calle 7 Sur Tulum, QROO Mexico. Google maps was the only way to find it with other maps/addresses taking you to incorrect locations. Well worth the find.

Tres Galeones was so great we had to come back for a second meal before we left Tulum. The mezcal margaritas were AMAZING! (And 2 for 1 during happy hour). We tried the ceviche and it was great. It came with three amazing sauces. I got the tacos al pastor and it was my favorite meal throughout the trip. The second time I got a burrito, which was also amazing. We sat outside and it was a great place to relax and people watch. This restaurant is a MUST when visiting Tulum.

Best atmosphere of all the bars we visited in Tulum. Nice, dim lighting, mellow music, friendly servers, and the best damn mezcal margarita I ever had! 2 for 1 from 5-8pm! Get it! They also have a great little menu with fresh fish, tacos, etc...highly recommend.

Tacos are the thing to get here. The soft shell crab tacos are beyond delicious and the shrimp al mojo was tasty af. The tuna was not great, neither was the ceviche. Stick to tacos and you'll be fine. And whatever you do..order the soft shell crab taco, you won't regret it.

This place is a solid GEM! Unfortunately I found Tres Galeones my last day in Tulum but I ate good!. First let's talk about the service - amazing service super attentive & open to giving recommendations without hesitation. They were outside calling for you to come in which was great & didn't make me feel rushed while I was eating and even tho it started getting busy they still helped me in a timely manner. The food- OH MY GODDDD. So I got the octopus tacos, soft shell grab taco, fish taco and shrimp taco (I told you I ate good). I would have to say the soft shell grab taco was by far my favorite but they were all really good! I also got the Negrino - which was the perfect amount of alcohol to sooth the busy day I had. The models negros were ice cold also which let me mention I went to coco tulum and the beer was more expensive and warm. I also got the hibiscus water - did I mention I also stayed well hydrated for this feast? I would def. recommend the hibiscus water. I then finished up w the banana con dulce leche I think w roasted coconut - I don't even know but it was amazing hahaha! Wish I found this place day one bc I would have tried everything on the menu . Thanks for the amazing service and SUPER YUMMY FOOD! And atmosphere

This review is for the restaurant in town (not the airstream) This place is truly a hidden treasure in Tulum Town. The seafood here is spectacular, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is unique. You feel like you are dining in a sunken ship...very cool vibes and fabulous chill music. The service can be slow, but it gives you more time to relax and enjoy the experience. The Tuna appetizer was one of the best dishes we've had in Tulum and definitely try the Fish Tacos...divine! A delightful dining experience:)

Nice atmosphere. Wasn't very impressed with Baja shrimp. Was three pieces of heavily battered shrimp on three tortilla shells with pieces of shredded cabbage. Drinks didn't have great flavor and were not strong at all. Staff was nice! Just not our kind of place.

Phenomenal!! Came twice during our 5 day trip to Tulum and everything we had was amazing!! Great atmosphere, great drinks, outdoor seating. The service was super friendly.

If you get a chance to have just one dinner in Tulum, come here. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos, the soft shell crab, and a few orders of margaritas. The margaritas (both the regular and the mezcal) were the best that we had in our 6 days in Tulum. They were a perfect balance of tequila and lime juice. The flavor profiles of the soft shell crab is killer! I couldn't place a finger on all the ingredients that were in the taco but the complimented the soft shell crab wonderfully. The Baja fish tacos were light and crispy (not oily at all) and were nicely topped off with fresh cabbage and pico. The atmosphere of this restaurant is romantic and the staff was extremely friendly (we went two nights).

Food is really good!! But expensive for Mexico... If you're gonna pay this price, you might as well go the beach clubs since they all charge you a minimum fee just to go in. Spent $1000 pesos for a meal that was not filling. 3 stars because I wouldn't come back.

We stumbled across this place one night and we are so glad we did! This place does really good quality cocktails! We took advantage of the two for one mojitos and margaritas during happy hour which were $110 MEX each! So good! It's a very cosy place for people watching, they play such cool relaxed music, a real blues jazz feel, with candle lit ambiance. We came back twice.

We ate this place by coincidence. We were walking around and noticed an inviting restaurant with people sitting outside. We decided to eat there and it was the best food decision we made while in Mexico. We liked it so much we came back the next day. We had tacos; fish al pastor, beef, cameron al mojo, and soft shelled crab. Three salsas come with it which are really good! We tried each of the two desserts which were also really good. I highly recommend.

Incredible food, even better atmosphere. Staff was all very friendly, if I find myself back in Tulum. I will be sure to come back here.
