Fabulous Fabulous, and oh yes... it was fabulous! Excellent exotic and tranquil gardens, so many beautiful plants. And the café was great too... especially the tame birds feeding from our hands! A delightful visit to a beautiful island.

Amazing gardens on the peaceful Tresco island, part of the Isles of Scilly. Fantastic selection of exotic plants that don’t grow anywhere else in the UK. Well worth a visit.

Cafe wasn't cheap but well worth the outdoor area wildlife up very close when having a coffee, it was an experience in itself. Gardens held more than we first thought and had a great picnic in the centre area. Tresco also has a great walk around the island with it's own sights. All in, deffo go again.

Beautiful garden. Spent a full morning here. Enjoyed all the different levels, the lush greenery, the NZ fern trees, and the sculptures. There are lots of very tame birds all over the place. It's not cheap to get to or enter, but completely worth the cost.

The most stunning gardens. Such a great and interesting variety of plants. Beautiful Rātā tree from New Zealand was flowering, see the red flowers in my second image (Late June). A must visit while visiting the Isles of Scilly.

I visited last year for the first time in almost forty years (the first time on my honeymoon) and taking with me this time my young grandson. I was very much looking forward to seeing the gardens again but the experience was almost totally ruined by the incessant sound of garden machinery (saws) which lasted for the whole visit. I know the work is necessary but would it not be better to close completely when the noise is such that visitors can't enjoy some peace in this idyllic setting!
