Trexler Indian Curries

Indian Curries is a solid hidden gem for being right by a truck stop. They’re open all hours, which is a huge plus for drivers and late-night eaters. The food can be a bit hit or miss—when it’s good, it’s really good, but on an off day it’s just okay. Still, definitely better than fast food. The butter chicken is flavorful but tends to run spicier than expected, so be ready for some heat. The naan, though, is always a winner—freshly made, soft, and absolutely delicious every time. Prices are a little on the high side, but you can taste the quality when it’s done right. Skip the breakfast menu, but for lunch or dinner, especially if you’re passing through, it’s a pretty solid spot for good Indian food at odd hours.

9:22 just ate fresh butter chicken with garlic naan and shia masala. the big Chef was cooking the butter chicken, he recommended i ate it and It was perfect. 10/10 the chief was in a happy mood whistling while cooking. Thought i am regular this i had take the time to drop my appreciation. Establishment keep the cheif

I absolutely must say that I'm extremely impressed by not only the quality of the food but the taste resembles happiness. Delicious 😋, just delicious and full of flavor. Every dish that I bought and sample were all outstanding 👌 it was like getting lunch and dinner with family. Everyone there was very nice and it was a great experience. 👍 thx guy's I'll probably be ordering again before I leave. They are open 24/7

Many options on the menu, authentic tasting dhaba-style Indian curries, made to order fresh chapati rotis, aloo parathas are amazing too

I forgot to take a pic of the curry goat & rice but it was good. Spanish food restaurant tasted better and the lady cook/cashier had EXCELLENT customer service. (Edited from here): It’s been well over a year and some since I’ve been back here but I came to get some more good food and I wasn’t disappointed! This time I got butter chicken and curry goat half & half over a bed of rice. I also added pics of it this time before digging in. I will always stop here when I’m in the area. This food is always delicious!

This is probably the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India. While it’s located in a truck stop, the food is worth the stop for those on only four wheels. I had the goat curry, which isn’t easy to find. The goat turned out to be a great choice. The bone-in style was packed with flavor, spiced very nicely and was served with a generous portion. I ordered Naan as well, which wasn’t as good, but still quite tasty. There were lots of good options here ready to walk out the door. Kudos to the chef.

Too much overpriced please be aware of the price and quantity of food before you order anything and tell them that you want it freshly prepared because they try to sell you all that stuff that is prepared hours before may be last night. Please don’t expect anything authentic they are just a kind American fast food culture claiming to be authentic but that’s just to lure the customers whatever I tried there at least five of my stop by there was nothing near to authentic or anyway near the original taste , tenderness, aroma , juiciness . Finally decided doesn’t worth to stop .

Great food and humble people. Went with family of 7 and enjoyed the dinner. We had butter chicken and dal makhani with rotis. Everything was delicious. Would recommend to do take out from here if you don't prefer to sit. My go to place if I am in Allentown.

Loved the food! If you are looking for authentic Dhaba style Indian food , this is the place YOU SHOULD VISIT!! This is now saved to my map and I'll always make a stop here whenever I travel in that direction or if I really want to eat dhaba style food. Staff is great, they cared enough to customise the food to our liking. The ambiance can take a bit of work to give it that real authentic Indian dhaba feels but is still take it as a subpar dhaba feels. But overall, this place is really a must visit!

On our first visit, the cook make us a very good saag paneer meal, lots of paneer. HOWEVER, or our two subsequent visits, the food was mediocre at best, and the portions were not substantial. It did feel that the food on the first visit was designed to get a good review!!! We will not be returning!! The ambience is ok for casual meal - it is a truck spot.

Not the best. Could tell chicken was not marinated for a very long time. Naan was crispy in some spots and soft in others.

This is essentially food court level Indian food, so its pretty good for those standards. Curry and naan were solid, staff were nice. If you are just looking for takeout this will get you by.

The menu suggests that you can order from a wide selection of food. Maybe you can, but it seems like more of a hot bar with some of the menu available for the day. I ordered chickpea in a spicy sauce. The serving was huge. But, maybe a little pricey considering the paper plate and plastic bag presentation. The food is served in a tiny little truck stop store front. I think there were two or three tables. One step away from a food truck. Not necessarily a bad thing.

This place is a jewel in the rough. The food is absolutely spectacular. I personally recommend the goat curry and the chilly chicken as well as the chicken samosas and the garlic naan. The service is great and they explain every dish if you have any questions. I mean yes it is in a truck stop, but don't let that deter you it is one of the best places for Indian food in the entire city.

I really enjoyed Trexler. I had the lamb korma and it was really good. The portions were good and the price was reasonable. I recommend it.

I have to admit that I got super excited to find this place so near my office. It's a little tricky navigating all the trucks- this place is literally in a truck stop, but it was worth it. The inside of the building looked clean and well maintained, the lunch counter is to the right when you walk in, but I took my food to go. I got the Dal- lentil curry with white rice. The food was beautifully seasoned and generously portioned. Next time I go back I think I'll try the samosa! Ordering online is super easy, and it's ready quickly.

Food is excellent, service is good and price is fair. Location (in a truck stop), makes this restaurant a hidden gem.
