The atmosphere was so good! Tried the cheeseburger and it was super juicy and savoury. Worth every bite! A bit of a messy eat though, so do bring wet wipes if you’re planning to try all the yummy food! Some stalls offer payment by card, but they are limited. Be sure to bring cash!

The Jiřak/JZP farmers market is definitely worth noting on your visit or you’re now living in the city. The square is currently under a major renovation but the market is still open. Check the scheduling of days to visit the market. Try some of the local delicacies, grab your girl some flowers, or just grab some local wine or spirit sit down and enjoy people watching. Most of the vendors are super friendly although some of them may not speak English, they’re still nice. The church is also worth noting, as it was designed by one of the most influential architects of modern times, none other than the Slovenian Josef Plečnik. You can find Prague, Vienna, and Ljubljana scattered with his architectural marvels.

One of my favourite Farmers' Market in Prague! Decent prices and you can get everything from fresh veggies to tasty pastries. Also, there are a lot of nice brunch spots around the area :)

Located next to the park and lovely church. The metro station under repair so we have to walk from Flora metro but its a nice place for quick lunch or fresh produce with a few butchers cheese stalls

Farmers' market at Jiřího z Poděbrad is our number one place in Prague to shop delicious fresh fruit and vegrtables. It is the best place for Saturday morning coffee and meet ups with friends. If it happens you're in Prague from Wednesday to Saturday don't miss your chance of having this authentic experience of shopping and relaxing like a local.

I go there, buy few things, watch people with their beautiful dogs and Prague becomes suddenly even a better place 🫶🏼

A fantastic farmer market in the Jiriho z Podrebad (JzP) square. Lots of shops, beer, food, and a place for the kids to run around. An absolute must do in Prague

Delicious, fresh food at low prices. Just a 15 minute walk from the train station. Enjoyed my quiche at 9.00 in the morning! Highly recommend this market to escape from the crowded city center. To keep in mind: not every seller speaks English and they only have Czech ingredient lists.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this farmers market by chance outside Jiřího z Poděbrad Metro station. It's a small market, but filled with all freshest produce, meat, snacks, juices and flowers in Prague. The mushroom vendors are a foragers dream, and had the largest shrooms I've ever seen. The vendors are friendly and most seem eager for you to sample or purchase their goods. I had a great time "window shopping" and taking pictures. It's particularly nice to stroll through on a warm, sunny day.

Yelp
My favorite farmers market in Prague! Great spot to purchase produce and other food items. The vendors change each day. You can expect a mix of Czech and international specialties. One of my favorite vendors is the man with the soup. He also offered other things like lasagna, risotto, quiche... but my God! His tomato soup is out of this world. Topped with some pumpkin seeds and complimentary bread, it's the perfect lunch. Also, his partner makes amazing veggie quinoa burgers that are just perfection and so juicy and satisfying- even for a meat eater! Seriously one of the best things I have ever put into my mouth. The French bakery vendor with a super sweet bouncy blonde lady is also a superb standout. Try the colossal almond croissants. At about 50kc ($2), they aren't cheap but OMG they are amazing. Lightly filled with some sort of sweet almond butter paste. If it's available, be sure to try some pumpkin seed oil! It's a super savory oil that is delicious with bread or on dark green salads. You can easily get here by taking the A line to Jiriho z Podebrad. If you're just visiting, I highly recommend you stop here for lunch. It's a great way to experience the real side of Prague, mingle with locals, and try so many delicious foods and drinks at unbearable prices.

Yelp
The market here is quite special. It's not large and you can manage going thru the market in 30 minutes, depending on how much you plan to purchase. Here you can get a great breakfast at a low cost. One of my favorite foods at this market was the bananna vegan muffins; made from chickpeas. Other finds at this market included wine, beer, juices, veggies, fish, a coffee bar, plenty of breads and desserts are also available.

Yelp
Especially on sunny days there is no better place to enjoy life than this farmer's markets. In terms of branding the term "farmer's market" is actually a bit misleading, since hardly 50% (just an estimate) of the vendors there actually sell vegetables, fruit, milk, cheese, etc. However, the rest of the vendors sell awesome products and snacks as well. Octopus, burgers, indian veggie stuff, beer, indian pasta, you name it! I'd suggest you go there with two empty bags and just stuff them with a bit of fresh fruit and vegetables (might I suggest the spinach?) and enjoy the moment the vendor tells you how little all of those delicacies actually cost. Excellent value for money, especially if you're into making weird smoothies! Go there. Enjoy. Oh and yes, there's also Naplavka. But Naplavka doesn't happen quite as often PLUS Naplavka is notoriously overcrowded. The market at Jiriho z Podebrad seems almost empty in comparison!
