Service Coordinator Maleana Muyalde is an unfortunate addition to this organization. I highly recommend you save yourself the aggravation and request an alternate service coordinator if you or your loved one is assigned to this person. Malena Muyalde has a solid track record of dropping the ball, providing no follow-up, and excuse-making. In my opinion she is in no way qualified for this line of work. Malena Muyalde will fail your every expectation, no matter how reasonable.

The facility is nice, secure, and meetings are private. All of the staff (other than the check-in window) I've spoken to was very friendly, sincere, and helpful.

Understaffed! My child qualifies but "they" have the final say. Not doctors documentation 😔

Yelp
When it comes to regional center. They are all bad. Our first experience with them was in van nuys CA . it was the worst experience we had. Then we move to thousand oaks and got transferred to tcrc. Our coordinator seemed OK at first, but then we had to reschedule an appointment and we were told they would call us back in regards to reschedule. After 3days still no phone call for our rescheduled meeting. Then we had a problem with one of our therapist and told our coordinator Jacqueline about it and she said again she would call us back later that day. Still have not heard back. Now we have to contact the therapists company Every Child Achieves and take care of it and let them know we no longer want to use their services.

Yelp
I have dealt with the tri counties regional center before in the past and had no problems but a few years ago I closed my case because I really didn't need their services At the time but when it comes to re-opening the case they give you the runaround if you try to get in contact with the transition team manager she does not get back to you even if you leave a message my recommendation do not close your case with tri Counties regional Center keep it open because if you try to re-open it at a later time you will get the runaround like I am getting although I do recommend Sean Byrd If you get in contact with him to reopen the case and you have questions he will answer but as far as the tri-Counties transition team manager she is terrible at getting back to you even if you leave a message I have been dealing with this since mid July and I've reached my limit to where it's become a pain in the butt
