We stop here yearly after we do big cypress trail walks. Stone crab here is super fresh. The grouper sandwich is a must have for sure & we love their key lime pie. Shrimp was good too, but not the star of lunch. Outdoor spot, bring cash, nice views of the water!

Google
Amazing and delicious seafood, this family owned restaurant is a pure delight! The locals know what they are talking about and recommended this restaurant! Excellent service, beautiful waterfront dining and truly a wonderful experience. Check it out for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed. 🏝️🐊😄🦞

Google
By far the best seafood my grandfather, my dad, and I have ever had. We’ve brought fresh caught snook to just about every restaurant that will cook your catch for you in Everglades city, and Triad does the best job hands down. The black beans and rice are a fantastic side, the fried oysters a great appetizer, and their fried/blackened grouper sandwich out of this world. Don’t forget to leave room for the key lime pie, it’s better than anything you’ll find in the keys!

Google
Great location. Nothing fancy! Had stone crabs for first time. Crazy expensive, but delicious! Was surprised they were cold! Have to take a star away. Went back again and had "crab cakes". They were actually pretty nasty. Thinner than a good pancake, no lump meat, tasted gross. Very disappointed. Keeping it 3 stars for location, service and stone crabs.

Barbara Silber

Google
First time there and such a wonderful experience. The hogfish was amazing and crab claws delicious. The side dishes of baked beans and black beans and rice were a nice addition. Can’t wait until we’re back in the area to try again.

This is a cool restaurant by the water where you can get some food while in the Everglades. I had a good-sized salad for lunch and clam chowder soup. It was good.

We ate here waterside. We had smoked fish dip, and stone crab with two sides and conch fritters. The view was fantastic and the stone crab was excellent! We also bought a few pounds of the stone crab claws from the seafood market on site.

In on a Tuesday for late lunch. Cool place right on the water. Very busy. Had to take a pager to let me know when my table was ready. Not a long wait. Ordered: Grouper Basket Fried with fries, cold slaw, & hush puppies. $26.99 VERY GOOD The nicest fillet of Grouper I have had anywhere at any price.. Service was very good. Too bad its a 100 miles from home.

Yelp
Looong wait for pleasure of sitting in the sun. The food was good. Wait staff slooow. Can't beat the crab cakes.

Yelp
Take a ride through the Everglades and find your way to Triad seafood, one of our favorite places to visit. Beautiful setting with tables right on the water. Food that is ALWAYS on point; perfectly fried green tomatoes with feta cheese, delicious conch fritters, medium claws are an all time favorite and the side dishes do not disappoint (I have a hush puppy addiction!) Wrap that up with some great service and a refreshing beer...Sundays never felt so good . Ps...they do close at 4:00 on Sunday so don't be late!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dining at Triad Seafood Restaurant in Everglades City recently, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant is located on the water, and the views are stunning. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the service is excellent. The food was also delicious. I started with an order of alligator bites, which were crispy and flavorful. For my main course, I had the grouper sandwich, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. The corona beer was cold and refreshing, and the perfect complement to my meal. I would highly recommend Triad Seafood Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are all top-notch.

Yelp
Where the locals eat!!! This place was recommended to us by several locals. And, oh man, it delivered! Excellent seafood!!! The biggest Stone Crab I have ever had! I have had Stone Crab all over the country, and the price point is about the same and the size of the claw is about the same. For the same price point, Triad gives you a bigger claw. I guess that is the advantage of being a local, they have the pick, so to say....... I also got the soft shelled crab, locally sourced and the best soft shell crab I have ever had. Sitting out back, in the screened area provided a shaded view of the water. We really enjoyed our visit and the service was excellent.

Mike B.

Yelp
Delicious food, polite wait staff and sitting on the water. Couldn't ask for more. Was recommended by a nice elderly lady and it didn't disappoint!

Yelp
We stopped for lunch on our way back from Wild Lime Everglades Tour [also a 5 experience.] Very popular and every table was filled with happy diners. Cashier will give you a pager and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. We had the blackened shrimp bowl and the blackened grouper bowl, a house specialty. Both were caught-today fresh, generous portions, perfectly seasoned, not too salty, with excellent fries, delicious cole slaw. Our neighbors had the house specialty large & medium stone crab claws and loved them. Service was friendly and fast, but not rushed. Great views of the canal and passing fishing boats while you eat. An authentic Everglades experience- we'll be back.

Brenda j.

Yelp
Absolutely the best blackened mahi mahi my husband and I have ever had, and we eat this dish out a LOT! The laid-back vibe right on the water was relaxing and it was great that our little dog was welcomed too ...(Oh! - and I can't leave out how scrumptious your made-fresh-daily peanut butter pie was next time we'll try your key lime!) I only wish I could give you more than five stars!!

Ahn S.

Yelp
Great service and good food with a view! Grouper was cooked just right and we loved the fried green tomatoes with feta!

Charlotte W.

Yelp
Best conch I've had in 30 yrs, Of corse stone crabs were great. The side. Huspuppies etc very good . Can't do any better.

Deborah D.

Yelp
This place is very unkept and dirty inside. The menu was a piece of greasy, stained dirty paper folded in a basket and handled by everyone obviously. The bathrooms are very old and dirty. Some of the food was just OK, albeit way overpriced for a place like this and served in cheap styrofoam and plastic. Our lunch was $110. I reluctantly left a $10 tip and added the bill up before signing, but upon reviewing my bank account, I discovered they changed the tip amount after I left to 15%. Now I have to dispute it (on principle). The server didn't even introduce himself. Drive out of Everglades City to eat if this is your only option. I am very well traveled and eat at restaurants regularly and I don't write this lightly.

Yelp
If you make a trip down to Everglade City, I think Triad is worth a stop. We found it when visiting the area last year, and enjoyed it enough to return on our visit this year. This is a small fish market, and back home we would call a place like this "seafood in the rough". There are outdoor picnic tables, some covered and some seats overlooking the river. Fun to watch the pelicans and other wildlife. You are also permitted to throw your stone crab shells over the railing into the water. Not sure if the birds are interested, but there were quite a few pelicans! We came for the stone crabs and as expected they were fresh and delicious. The only pain point is the price. Stone crabs are expensive and it seems the price goes up every time. As it was lunch, we ordered one plate and split it for a very light lunch. Hush puppies and sweet potato fries were delicious. Coconut shrimp were OK, not among the best we've had in the area. Key lime pie was delicious! They seemed understaffed and service was slow. If you pack a cooler you can stop in the fish market and purchase some to bring home.

Mark K.

Yelp
Fresh Seafood prepared really well. Service was great and a great view on the river. Highly recommended them.

Susan A.

Yelp
Hubby and I had a decent lunch here. Was cool to sit outdoors with a view of the water. Service was okay. The food was decent. I had fried grouper with French fries. Hubby had crab cakes with slaw. He said the portion size was on the small side. We had iced tea, no appetizers, no desserts. Bill was $70.93 before tip, which we thought was very expensive for what we received.

Trevor M.

Yelp
Crab cakes are very good! Worth the wait. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our son loves the cheeseburger and my wife's grilled shrimp were perfect!

Carl A.

Yelp
We enjoyed eating in this covered open air restaurant overlooking a river in Everglades City. We had friends visiting who had never experience stone crab claws. All who ate them enjoyed them immensely. The shrimp and fish dishes were tasty and prepared well. The servers were friendly and efficient. We had a very pleasant time.

Yelp
I came into town for Thanksgiving and my boyfriend decided to take me to go on an airboat tour to see alligators in real life! I noticed that next to where we were at for a boat rides, there was a place that sold stone crab. I told him I never had it before, but my mom said that her friends loved it. Stone crabs happen to be in season now. After going to see the animal sanctuary, we decided to try to find a place to have stone crab to share for the sake of having it at a place where it would be very fresh. Google maps took us to some café where he asked for a recommendation. While he was in there, I looked up triad seafood. When he came up came back out, he told me that the lady in the café recommended triad seafood as well. We then went on over. There was no wait, luckily, when we arrived. Within a few minutes of our arrival, all of the tables in the back patio filled up. We had waterfront dining and ordered a large order of stone crabs plus a slice of homemade Keylime pie. The freshness was undeniably present. I loved our sides of coleslaw and sweet potato fries. There was no better place to have Keylime pie then so close to the keys. While we placed one order to share between two people, we were very for the end of our meal. Highly recommend coming here. And if I'm ever back in town, we'll be here again.

Steve B.

Yelp
Recommended by our Airboat tour guide, this turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. FRESH seafood and a frosty beer or crisp white wine on the docks with a beautiful view. Snow Crab claws were the freshest we ever had in the Naples area. Shrimp also super fresh and dont miss the key lime pie...Awesome.

Darrell M.

Yelp
Crabcakes, french fries, hush puppies, all fried, not bad. Blackened grouper was delicious. Also, had Conch conch fritters, which were good.

Caitlen M.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant was amazing! The food, the service, the view. Local stone crab and gator were so yummy. I've had some bad gator but this is exceptionally good! Make sure to try some pie! They make them! Yummy

June H.

Yelp
The view from this venue is remarkable. You are right on the Barron River with mangroves across what seemed like the widest part of the river. We watched quite a few boats go by. The building is very unassuming so you never expect to be so blown away by the view when you walk up. Awesome. Good luck finding a parking spot. Fortunately school was closed when we arrived so we snagged a spot right across the street (on the grass). This is a very casual place with all outside seating on picnic tables on the deck. It was chilly the day we arrived (jacket weather in Florida yikes!). Just be prepared to sit outside. There are several areas to choose from (including a mostly screened in area) that are under a roof. Some benches are perched right on the railing so you feel like you are floating on the river. We thought they were all taken but didn't realize more options existed and sat at one of the first spots we saw. I recommend you take the time to scope out the right spot before you sit. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. They seemed genuinely happy to see us! Quite refreshing. The food was good, especially the homemade crabcakes...pricey (fresh crab takes a lot of work!) but delicious. Even the Cole slaw was yummy (did I detect pineapple in there?). My husband had the whopper hot dog. It was so large, the waitress confessed it can be embarrassing to serve (massive). The neighborhood where this place is located is a fishing village so don't let that deter you. Afterall this is clearly a working waterfront and this is also a seafood market. It's not fancy but worth a visit!

K P.

Yelp
Great key lime pie. Crab claws were great. Help was great, didn't wait long for the food. Dump the claw shells overboard and watch the feeding frenzy.

Lala C.

Yelp
Three stars for the mediocre uninspired food, 4 stars for the location - screen patio over the water, 3.5 stars for service. Enroute to Miami from Sarasota, we decided to take the scenic drive through the majestic Everglades National Park. Yelp reviews coincided with lunchtime and we ended up here. Quaint quiet lovely old Florida Everglades City, boats with crab traps line the waterside docks, busy place.... looked promising, Oh, plus the lure of fresh stone crabs. Not that this place would have cared, I love stone crabs! We unloaded the pups, picked up menus enroute to grabbing a picnic table on the patio. 8 tables there but other seating along their dock area too . Ordered the crab with rice and too soupy black beans, canned corn, hubby ordered the fried soft shell crab basket with fries and sweet hush puppies. Obviously, the stone crab claws do not come cheaply, and the $50 for 5 large claws plus 2 sides is fair. However, the claws were not super fresh. You can tell when the meat is stringy and sticks to the shell. Ironic for a place within this environment are not more sustainablely responsible, straws, plastic ware, etc. Oddly, had to ask for a plate, a fork, something to crack the claws where the kitchen did not do so. It was getting to be a joke with asking for these items as it should be a given.... It seems that a local tour may stop by here and there were plenty of out of state license plates on cars when we left so more tourist than local spot.... Stop for a photo of the pelicans snoozing by the water...would eat elsewhere or pack a picnic!

David G.

Yelp
This place screams old Florida. My wife and I came in very hungry and boy were we satisfied. Everything on their menu is amazing. The best and I mean the absolute best hush puppies I've ever had! Their seafood is fresh from the ocean and their staff is great. We had stone crab and grouper sandwiches. Their key lime pie is also up there in some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This unassuming waterfront seafood restaurant in tiny Everglades City is frequented by general aviation pilots, among others, looking for a real out-of-the-way waterfront seafood experience in the heart of the Everglades. Although drivable for us from Tampa, we chose to quickly fly in luxury into the small airport to enjoy the day's special -- a "Grouper Reuben" sandwich, which was excellent. We passed on the "stone crab" this time, but it looked good. Indeed, the town is the "Stone Crab Capital of the World". Three hundred-thousand pounds are harvested here every year! The Reuben was layered in Grouper, Cole Slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato, served on a very nice roll On the side were pickles, onion, and French Fries. Grouper is very popular in Florida, much of it caught in Florida waters and unknown to out-of-town folk. Rustic picnic tables for guests were available right on the Barron River with nice views of the "real" Florida. You may meet the owner who at 85 years old still watches over the place, welcomed us, and personally found us a table in the shade. Orlo also provided free transportation for our party of three to and from the little airport. Orlo was born and raised here in Everglades City, a place not much higher than sea level. Everglades City is the western gateway to Everglades National Park and the launching point for fabulous fishing. Cast here for Tarpon, Snook and Redfish -- all found in the mangrove estuaries leading out to the Gulf.

Yelp
Good food, service, and location. Food this gem today while visiting. Really enjoyed. Our server Brittany was great. I loved the conch fritters

Linda W.

Yelp
It was so good I had the grouper basket which was so tasty. My husband has the burger. Ate by the water it was delicious.

Chris G.

Yelp
We drove down to Everglades City and with the reviews of Triad decided this was the place to eat lunch. We had the Conch fritters, fried green tomatoes for appetizers, both very good. Next had the grouper rueben excellent and very big. Had the soft shell crab good, the crab cakes very good. My favorite was the stone crab claws we go the large the were unbelievably good. So if you are near by make sure to stop, you sit outside on the water either in the screened in porch or outside under roof cover both were nice. Se our pictures:)

Patty K.

Yelp
Go there and just be happy to sit next to water and hear the wind and enjoy the food and service. This is family friendly! Love the place!! Will definitely be back!!

Leah M.

Yelp
We popped in here after an airboat ride in the Everglades. It's located right on the water, with outside only seating. We were encouraged to seat ourselves and grab some menus from a bin on the wall. We didn't wait long for a waitress, who was very attentive. Our food was all pretty good. The wait wasn't too long. The cocktail sauce and tartar was also pretty good. Overall, it's a cute little place to grab a quick bite.

EJ P.

Yelp
Wow I'm a lifelong Floridian and can't believe I'd never been here. Deeeeelicious food and wonderful service! Recommend stone crab claws and fried shrimp and the clam chowder.

Danny M.

Yelp
Great food awesome stone crabs great service great ambiance best in town thank you Triad

Joanne C.

Yelp
My sister and I took a ride out to Everglades city for some stone crab. They were yummy! You get 2 generous sides along with 6-7 medium claws. For dessert we tried the homemade key lime pie and peanut butter pie. Needless to say we practically rolled out of there full and happy! It's worth the trip when they are in season.

Lorraine S.

Yelp
Love this place. A old fashioned fish camp atmosphere restaurant and seafood market. Casual outdoor dinners ing Amazing fish selections. Highly recommended.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
Small spot off the beaten path. It was recommended to us by a local. No indoor seating but most of it is covered. You sit by the water and can watch a few boats. Our server Valerie was great! She answered every annoying question we had. She knew a lot! We started off with the gator tail. It was some of the best gator tail I've had. We also got frog legs which were really good too. For lunch I got the stone crab claws. I got the medium ones. They were actually pretty big. I can't imagine how big the larger ones are. The best part of these was that they served them already cracked so minimal work for me. My sides of sweet potato fries and black beans and rice were also really good. There's no bar so you can't get a mixed drink but they do serve beer and other hard items in a can. We really enjoyed our food here. Lots of seafood choices but also sandwiches and non seafood options.

Kristine G.

Yelp
I don't know how this is not on Yelp yet but this place is great! There is nothing like eating fresh seafood by the water. This is a perfect lunch spot in the Everglades!

Dawn C.

Yelp
First in restaurant dining since COVID began! It was so safe we couldn't say no! The stone crab was so fresh. They serve a creamy mustard sauce which is so good. The coleslaw has pineapple in it (which is how I make it at home) yum!! The watsefrint dining and table spacing made it the best COVID safe dining experience.

Katherine G.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good, but prices are quite high. We stopped by here for a quick lunch after a boat tour nearby, and were lucky enough to be seated quite quickly. Since this was our first time here, we of course had to get the stone crab meal, and chose sweet potato fries and coleslaw as the sides. We also got the mahi mahi and fried softshell blue crab baskets. The stone crab was incredible! So fresh and tender, one of the best things I've eaten. The sweet potato fries were also amazing. The rest was pretty good as well, but I thought the baskets were pretty overpriced for the quantity of food. However, worth a try if you're in the area!

Rick H.

Yelp
Slow service but good food. Quiet scenery. Our fishing charter stopped there for some dinner and it was decent. Would go back next time.

Carissa B.

Yelp
We chose a table on their screened in porch area right on the water. It was a beautiful day with a wonderful breeze so it was the perfect place to be. We were greeted promptly by our server. She was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Soft Shell Crab Sandwich and the Fried Oyster Basket with Sweet Potato Fries. Both items were delicious! Somehow I missed taking photos of our food! I think we were just excited and dug right in. Make sure to check them out if you are in town for some yummy fresh seafood!

Kathleen D.

Yelp
Location of dining on the deck was nice but that was it. The crab cakes were as dry as eating sand. The grouper was palatable but very bland. If that is the best in town drive into Naples or Marco for dining.

Missy M.

Yelp
Ice cold beer and wine, fresh seafood. Perfect outdoor spot for lunch after an airboat tour. Wish I knew our waitress's name bc she was wonderful! I don't think we've ever gotten a second round of beers out that fast. Great kids menu also! Thank you!

Joe S.

Yelp
4 Stars for this quaint restaurant in Everglades City. I was staying in Marco Island and did a little research and found out this town was the birthplace of Stone Crab. Having only tried stone crab from Publix, I decided to make the drive from Marco Island to here for lunch. Everglades city is neat on it's own. What a cute small town. Luckily, the GPS got me to the restaurant as I may have missed it otherwise. At first I thought I was in the wrong place but eventually was surprised by a decent looking place. From what I could tell, it was an outdoor only seating area so be advised if it's windy or rainy. Maybe they find a way to accommodate that. The waitress was amazing and helped be decide between the medium, large and jumbo. There was a $10 difference in price between each level and it was still the same per lb. It's pricey, but that's Stone Crab for you. It's only in season between October and May. The salad came out and I'm glad the waitress told me their house dressing was good. She should have just said "Get this dressing, idiot" and I would have obliged. It was garlicky and oily and delicious. I had 6 or 7 times as many olives in my salad than the Olive Garden gives the entire table. Wow, what a delightful salad! Then came the bowl of claws. They were pre-cracked and there was still quite some work to get the meat out. Lots of digging and spitting out little chunks of shells that get mixed in with the meat. She showed me how to eat them (as if I need a lesson on how to eat), and later told me I was doing a good job at getting all of the meat. At that price, I wasn't letting any go to waste! They brought out both the drawn butter and mustard sauce. Both were good, but I preferred the drawn butter with a squeeze of lemon into the butter. The garlic bread was good and one of my favorite foods on its own. The hush puppies were crispy and good. If you're on the west side of FL and don't want to drive to Joe's Stone Crab, this might be the place to go. It's quite a haul, but the city alone is a neat place. I like supporting local business and everyone there was friendly and helpful.

Marisol F.

Yelp
If you love stone crabs as much as me and my husband then you know all about Everglades City. And Triad is one of our favorites to have them. They a lot of great seafood in their seafood shop and that stuff and more is on their menu for the restaurant, which is all outdoors on the water. They have a bunch of tables in a screened area if you hate mosquitoes as much as me and they also have some other tables in the open areas and some bar counters to face the water and throw your shells in the water if you're eating crabs or shrimp. We always get the Stone Crabs of course. So fresh and delicious. Also we get something else to share with it like Gator Tail or Peel N Eat Shrimp. Last visit we shared a Soft Shell Crab sandwich with it and that was pretty great. Basically, everything is always delicious here.

Victoria G.

Yelp
Great view and the Crab cakes are to die for! Enjoyed the sunshine, fresh food and friendly staff. Would recommend the fried green tomatoes, coconut shrimp, and the crab cakes. First time here, but will definitely be coming back.

Irene B.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by the Everglades national Park employee. Staff was very friendly and took our order quickly and the food came after just a short wait. I had the grilled grouper. It did not taste fresh to me, and I received a very thin piece that was overcooked. My dining partner had grouper but blackened. He received a rather thick piece and was cooked properly. He also felt that the fish did not taste fresh. This view while we ate was absolutely perfect. We watched dolphins, boats and the birds being active on the waterway. I guess I would try the restaurant again and certainly not order the grouper. The view was worth the restaurant.

Atwater Villager G.

Yelp
All we can say is, it was delicious! Sit along the water and remind yourself how peaceful it is in Everglades City, and ask why would you want to return to the noisy madness of the urban area you left behind?! So order some tastystone crab claws and enjoy your visit!

Lori K.

Yelp
The service is awesome, and the stone crab claw dinner never disappoints. You need to make the trip to Everglades City to enjoy a great meal while enjoying the view.

Javier D.

Yelp
We drive 2 hours to have lunch at Triad Seafood. There are many options along the water but they are hands down the best. The cost & service is what makes this my favorite place for stone crab. The outside patio seating is my favorite!
