The 7 Best Hostels in Seville (Updated 2025)

"I liked its location in the Triana neighborhood (about a 20-minute walk from the center) and the beautiful interior with walls lined in traditional tiles. Breakfast is included and there’s a large kitchen; the rooftop has hammocks and there’s a hot tub for relaxing. Dorms use metal bunks with privacy curtains and reading lights and relatively thick mattresses, plus air conditioning, so it’s a comfortable, solid place to stay." - Matthew Kepnes

This hostel really fits the classic backpacker vibe. Nothing fancy, but warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, and the space has a cheerful, colourful feel to it. Breakfast was included. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of showers and toilets throughout the building. I had an ensuite dorm, but if it was occupied there were still multiple bathrooms available downstairs, which made things convenient. The beds were basic but comfortable enough, and I felt safe during my stay. Do note that the lockers are small. So a full backpack won’t fit. They have a rooftop with relaxed atmosphere and the Wi-Fi worked well up there too. There’s also a small workspace near the fully equipped kitchen if you need to get things done. The jacuzzi unfortunately wasn’t running, which was disappointing as it wasn’t mentioned on the website. The location isn't in the main tourist zone, but it’s an easy 15-minute walk to the Plaza del Torro and about 5 minutes to restaurants and busier streets. It’s also right next to a Basic-Fit gym. It's not a very social hostel, but recharging on a budget was the vibe I was going for.

Most beautiful hostel i‘ve been to so far. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Affordable and breakfast included… Only downside was, our room smelled a bit musty, but not that bad.

Overall it was a nice experience to stay here. On the positive side, the staff were very welcoming and kind-hearted. I really appreciated their warmth (especially the one gave me period pads, thank uuu!). The bathroom was amazing, honestly like something you’d expect in a proper hotel, with stunning interior design. The kitchen was well equipped, complete with a fridge where you can store your food and drinks, and I also met some really nice people during my stay. However, I did have a surprising experience upon arrival. I booked a 4-bed female dorm, but about an hour after I checked in, a male guest was brought into the room. This was quite shocking for me, as well as for the other two female guests who also booked a female dorm. Thankfully, the staff quickly and kindly moved him to another room, which I appreciated. I believe this was just an accidental mix-up, but it’s something I hope the hostel can double-check in the future, since whether a room is mixed or female-only is quite important for many travelers (especially solo female traveler). cons: no iron provided.

Apart from the location, everything was very meh here. The breakfast was very simple, the towels we had to rent for 6 euros (1$ + 5 for the deposit) was old and somehow scratchy, it almost hurt to dry ourselves with it. Beds are also quite old, but comfortable enough. Our room had a bit of an ant problem on the floor, and when we asked on our arrival for the laundry service, the person at the desk told us that in the morning at around 8 we can give them our clothes so they can wash it all. Next morning another person is at the counter and at exactly 8am she says they’re too busy to do the laundry (with a very condescending tone, it sounded like it was more that she didn’t want to deal with it). So make sure you have a plan B to do your laundry during the day at the laundromat.

Excellent hostel experience. I have spent 7 days in Seville in such an energetic and chilling atmosphere in Triana hostel. It is an old and stylish building, located in a lovely neighborhood close to the old center. Staff is lovely and people often go to the terrace to have a drink and spend a good time. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is available for everyone to share some time cooking. If you are looking for a nice and chill place to enjoy Seville, that’s the right option :)

A very mixed experience. Staff are great and the rooftop is nice. 24 hour reception service is convenient. Location is good, in the Triana district. But the room was hot and stuffy, making it hard to sleep. There was an air conditioner in the room, but it was off and there was no remote for it.

Some staff indifferent. Certainly not a bike friendly place, and no where secure to sure a bike. Breakfast minimal and insufficient toilets or showers for the number of beds. Overall, not a great experience.
