I would always recommend here but this time was well below par unfortunately. First I waited 35 mins for a take away order of a portion of large wing and a buffalo fries. I waited soo long people who had arrived after me had eaten their food and left. I have gotten up to check on it and shortly after it has emerged which to no surprise the order was wrong I ended up getting a regular set of wings and a somewhat of a sad looking chip with very little chicken on it. It’s not like Tribal to be like this hopefully next time it’s better/quicker.

great chicken wings - bbq and buffalo. excellent milkshakes - biscoff, peanut butter, oreo and chocolate shake. really thick. really nice sweet potato fries too!

The burgers here are very good. The bacon and blue cheese burger was tasty as was the bacon double cheeseburger. The patties are quite thick, not like smash burgers. I really enjoyed the spice bag chip which is basically a curried chip but I loved the curry sauce on it. Right up my street!

Wow, wow, wow. Right let me start with the negative: it’s bloody hard to pick something off the menu. Like literally I was stood for like 5 solid minutes in complete indecision, there’s sooo much incredible looking stuff. I wanted the wings but it looks like they come in a massive portion and I already had more than enough. In the end I ordered the bacon and cheese burger and the spice bag fries (way too much for one, but I really couldn’t pick). Served was prompt and very friendly. We took a seat and the food was all brought out surprisingly fast. The burger was good and plenty of sauce for those that like it saucy. Overall - a good burger! The real star here was the loaded fries though, wow, amazing. The curry sauce was just like what you’d get from a Chinese and there was just the right amount of chilli’s, spring onions etc on top. Bursting with flavour and the perfect amount of spice. Not a Belfast native but can’t wait to get back and try something else 😋

This place was fast and the portions were amazing! The size and fla or of these burgers should have them getting a flavor time award! The chips were done perfectly with amazing flavors.

My partner and I picked up a tribal burger after work for take away. Got home and once we bit into them we noticed they were pink. My partner had already eating over half and I had taken 3 bits. Disappointed as the burger would have been really nice but couldn't eat it.

Tribal Burger on Botanic is a great spot for anyone who loves a proper burger. The menu is small and focused, which works in its favour — instead of endless choices, you get a carefully selected range of burgers, sides, and drinks that are all done really well. The highlight is that you can choose exactly how your burger is cooked, whether you prefer medium, medium-rare, or well done, which makes the whole experience feel much more personal than a standard burger joint. A big plus is their gluten-free bun option, which is excellent quality and makes Tribal Burger a welcoming spot for those with dietary requirements. The burgers themselves are juicy, flavourful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes are generous, and the sides, especially the fries, are just as good as the mains. They also serve alcohol, which makes it a great place for a casual meal with friends or a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere inside is lively yet laid-back, with friendly staff who are always happy to help. Service is quick, even during busy periods, and everything feels well organised. Located right on Botanic, it’s easy to get to whether you’re coming from the university area or the city centre, and it’s a perfect stop before a night out or after a day exploring Belfast. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and it always feels like good value for money. Overall, Tribal Burger stands out because it keeps things simple but does them exceptionally well — great burgers, thoughtful options like gluten-free buns, the ability to cook to your preference, and a welcoming atmosphere with a drink in hand. Easily one of the top burger spots in Belfast and a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Yelp
Our first bite to eat in Belfast was here at tribal burger and something about the name and menu just spoke to us Americans. I went with the spicy chicken burger myself and it was a healthy sized portion friend perfectly and the spicy sauce was bang on! The place had free Wi-Fi also which was a plus and the staff was super friendly and welcoming even thought we were the first thru the door.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this spot based upon other recommendations I received, but after eating there I was underwhelmed. Price was too high for what I purchased and the meat was cooked to oblivion. The service was fine but the table were dirty and didn't seem to be well kept up in general. There are definitely better burger spots.

Yelp
Been around the world and ate a few burgers Pt. 1 Late night stop in Belfast had me hungry after a six hour flight had me hungry as hell. So many choices to chose from near the hotel we were staying. I had originally set my mind on fish and chips and was determined to get some until we walked by this place and my counterpart said "yo! lets try this". I am always game for hamburger (bless my arteries). By the way, this place has Hard Shakes!! wish I would have tried a Baileys Milkshake! Decor: 5/5 - place looks chill as can be. a few long tables where strangers can sit side by side enjoying their food and drink. The place has a modern feel to it and is very inviting and comfortable. Service: 5/5 - First time here and they knew it. Explained almost everything not he menu at the counter where you order your food. Even explained a few of the local beers and what we could expect them to taste like. From time of order to food being delivered to our table was pretty fast considering they make everything at time of order. and that there were at lest nine other people in there with us! Give that Grill guy a dang medal. Food: 5/5 - I can't even remember what burger I ordered (after review of my photo, its a cheese and bacon burger) but I can tell you that it had bacon! ( I mean I put bacon on everything ) (Rip arteries again). Cooked to a beautiful slightly pink medium and juicy as hell! I also made the mistake of ordering chips, thinking like ah its going to be like a small portion. I ordered the spicy chili chips. This portion was enough to feed two people so take warning. They were AMAZING! Yes Yes yes (herbal essence reference) lol. In all you definitely won't regret coming here to eat...or maybe you will if you don't live in Belfast because then you will have to live on a memory! I will never forget this place. Took a small menu for my collection!

Yelp
Definitely my favourite place. It's so difficult finding good vegan burgers and this place by far makes the best! Friends have also said that their meat burgers are amazing so it's perfect for both vegetarians/vegans and meat eaters. :) Though, I wish they'd come out with more vegan options

Yelp
Nothing special here I have to say, not even the ambience. Heres the rundown: - I ordered the Classic Burger hoping for some big flavor and it came out with a big letdown. -Burger bun was grocery store bread, nothing fancy and or appealing. -Burger was overcooked to point where I had a crunch to it.... -Condiments were simple and nowhere near unique... -Sweet Potatoe Fries were bomb and the salt they use is perfect. -Service was good. -Making the burger took awhile with a small crowd... -Price: Over the top. Unless you are an established burger joint I must say the pricing is a little ambitious.. In all I won't venture here unless theres an incentive to go. Take a pass and keep going down Botanic Ave.

Yelp
Kudos to Tribal for having a vegan burger on their menu. I really enjoyed this smoked beetroot/ chickpea pattie which was served in a bun with slaw and chilli hummus. The chips were also excellent, plus they're vegan too, which is a rarity in Belfast. Tribal is licensed thus sells a range of reasonably priced wine and craft beer. My only complaint is that it would be nice to see a couple of vegan burger options on the menu - this would create more choice for vegetarians/ vegans. Overall a pretty good experience and I will return for the vegan burger and to try their salad couscous Tri-Box and sweet potato fries.

Yelp
this place is amazing. Visiting from Los Angeles. if you live in Belfast or are visiting here you have to eat here. Get the bacon and cheese burger and the sweet potato fries. Also the shakes are insane

Yelp
Nice Burgers - Incredibly rude manager/owner. Just had a pretty enjoyable burger in the Botanic store. Had finished up stepped foot out the door for 5 seconds, decided to nip to the loo before we left so went back in. Upon leaving the toilet was accosted by the older manager (assumed it's the owner) snarkily asking was a customer, then when telling him I was went off on one about how I was lying and that I had just walked in. Was embarrassing for him when the staff knew I had just been in for food. Such an awful vibe, it really ruined what was a nice lunch. Won't be back to endure that energy anytime soon.

Yelp
Small, kitchy burger & beer shop. When in Belfast, have a hamburger & craft beer? Yes! I enjoyed every bite of my Cashel Burger, sweet potato fries and Drunken Donkey beer. There were alcoholic shakes an the menu that would probably be delicious. I did see people with them but I opted for the beer ibstead. The seating is family style with four long counter height tables that seat eight and a table at the window looking out. Plan on keeping conversation to just yourself, your group or spread conversation across the table and make a new friend.

Yelp
Tribal Burger has the most amazing wings on the planet!!! Great service! Amazing staff!!! Absolutely some of the best wings I've ever eaten in my entire life and I'm from near Buffalo!! Went back two days in a row for their wings.

Yelp
