TRIBE Riga City Centre Hotel

Fantastic hotel with some flaws. Firstly a big thank your raina who was the concierge for the first two days of our stay, what an incredibly professional, funny and knowledgeable person, exactly who a hotel should have interacting with new guests. The place is very modern, and although the decor wont appeal to everyone we certainly thought it was a big upgrade from the horrible Airbnb we initially stayed at. The breakfast is good quality, tasty and plentiful. The rooms are very big with high ceilings. Beds felt soft and the linens crisp and clean. The underfloor heating was a luxury we didnt think we could live without but after experiencing the freezing baltic conditions it was very much welcome. The slight negatives were for the jacuzzi/spa and gym. The gym itself is very barren and desperately needs a few more weights and cable attachments and maybe some resistance bands... the benches themselves are also very flimsy and feel like they might break. Secondly the jacuzzi was great the first day we used it but by the third and final day we didnt go in because it was absolutely gross and full of dead skin and hair probably from multiple uses without being cleaned each time. This was quite disappointing because the facility itself looked great. It's a shame there arent any towels or robes down there so you need to take things from your room to use down there. It feels like a half attempt at luxury and with a little more thought and attention to detail this hotel could be perfect.

Good hotel but with a lot small issues. Staff is nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were very big, but even that were really big we felt like the sink was very small without space to put anything at all next to the sink. Not enough hooks to hang the towels and bathrobes. The bathroom had a horrible smell from the drains, impossible to leave the bathroom door open, otherwise the smell would go to the bedroom and the smell was horrible. Bed was very confortable. The spa not worth it in my opinion; the water of the showers in the spa had a really bad smell, same with the jacuzzi, the water was a really bad smell. The steamed sauna was broken, Finnish sauna was good.

Superb hotel. The best so far I stayed in Riga. Nice rooms with high ceilings, super cozy bed and cloudy pillows. I slept very well. Small but tasty choice for breakfast. You can get full. And all fresh. Good selection for tea lovers. Christmas decorations are with a designer taste. Everything in this hotel is made with love.

I got extra large and luxurious room, the room was clean and comfortable, maybe some fixing would be good in bathroom. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good, I especially appreciate that you had a very good coffee machine, from which I got an excellent cappuccino. Although the view of the street from the balcony was great in the morning, I would probably choose a room facing the courtyard next time because of the noise.

my arrival was much later than anticipated due to flight delays, but made it to the hotel. The hotel entrance was hard to locate, and also the reception desk to check in, but check in was smooth and efficient and pleased that I had a room upgrade. I wasn't on holiday to watch the TV, but often have the TV on for some noise in the room, but the TV in my room didn't work to show any TV channels, this wasn't looked at during my stay, but I was fused as I didn't intend to watch the TV, I just used the Wifi and connected to radio stations instead. I Didn't use the restaurant as was a little confusing with the food offer and the serving hours., but breakfast was pleasant each morning plenty of selection just slow for the staff to clear table. Upon approaching check out day, I asked for late checkout or to leave my luggage till it was time for the airport and I was allowed to keep my room till 13.30 however after 12noon I was been called to state id pass checkout time and needed to leave the room, I tried to explain I had arranged late checkout which was finally allowed but then when checking out I was presented a bill for the late checkout but I advised I am a silver Accor member and late checkout was a benefit which was eventually sorted, I then asked about the 100 bonus points for each day I saved the clean and the clerk processing my checkout didn't know and advised me that my points would be added once the stay is completed. As of yet, my 3x100 save the clean bonus points have yet to be awarded. Apart from this the hotel was clean and pleasant to stay in and would return when in Riga next.

Very friendly service in a beautiful Art Nouveau building that has been modernly renovated inside. The rooms are quite spacious and nicely furnished, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. We especially appreciated the hotel’s great central location – perfect for exploring Riga – as well as the luggage lockers, which are a really smart idea. Only a few small downsides: our rooms faced the street, which is busy even at night, so it was difficult to sleep with the window open. In addition, our air conditioning unfortunately did not work. Still, a very nice hotel in the heart of Riga

I was disappointed by my stay at Accor Tribe hôtel at Riga for several ressons.||Altough the hotel is conviently located in the new art district. There is no direct bus to/from the airport. You will need to make a bus change to reach the hotel.||The hotel is easely accessible because it is located on one of Riga's busiest road.||I was given a rather large executive bedroom on first floor with a separate huge living room.||You will need to exit the main building and climb some new steps with your luggage to get to this floor.||The high ceiling are impressive but personally I did not like the art deco mid 80s style.||The temperature in the room was way too high in August and the air conditioning did not work or at least was pulsing heat in August. The heating system was on too in the bathroom and there was noway to stop it.||The separate bedroom was itself rather small because the bed was absolutely huge and also so tall. You had  to litterally climb into the bed.||The bed confort was great, but I had to remove the cover and sleep only with the bed sheet because of the heat in the room.||But the worst part was the horrible and endless noise of the street because the place is facing the avenue. The noise is absolutely awful. The windows and the walls are absolutely not soundproof as you can find in recent hotels.||Altough, the bedroom was facing the back of the building (with a noisy machinery too), the street noise was still getting to the room.||I spent an horrible night.||And the breakfirst was not extraordinary to be remembered off.||In short, if you come to Riga and do not wish to sleep, this hotel is yours. Otherwise, pick up another hotel. Because there is no garantee, that you will not be assigned with such room. ||Last but not least, They do not accept American Express card which is surprising for a worldwide hotel brand such as Accor group.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the hygiene standards of the room I was assigned during my recent stay at Tribe Riga on July 25th and 26th. Attached to this message, you will find two photos taken inside the bathroom of room 218. As clearly visible, there is significant mold and dirt accumulated in the tile joints, especially in the corners and near the floor. This is unacceptable for any hotel, and especially for one that operates under the Accor brand, which is globally associated with quality and high standards. In addition to the mold issue, I was very disappointed to find that all the towels in the room had an unpleasant odor, suggesting they were either not properly washed or not dried in hygienic conditions. This raised further concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel’s laundry services. Unfortunately, these were not isolated issues. The overall cleanliness of the room was far below what one would reasonably expect from a hotel of your category. This left a negative impression and made the stay disappointing.
