"Similar to Astro Orbiter and Dumbo, this dino-themed spinning ride is pretty basic, so you may want to wait in line for the other attractions with classic appeal or great views." - Travel + Leisure Editors

The wonderful ride TriceraTop Spin provides an exciting and exhilarating experience. My first impression of the ride was its bright and quirky design, which immediately put me in the mood for fun and play. It was fun to spin about while going up and down, and it was simple to get caught up in the thrill of the ride. Overall a great ride to do with the little ones and a good opportunity to introduce your kids to heights.

TriceraTop Spin is a fantastic ride that offers a thrilling and exhilarating experience. From the moment I stepped on the ride, I was greeted with a colorful and whimsical design that instantly put me in a fun and playful mood. Going up and down while spinning around was a blast, and it was easy to lose myself in the excitement of the ride. Unfortunately, during my visit, I found out that three of the TriceraTop Spin rides were out of operation. Although this was a minor setback, I still had a great time on the other rides that were up and running smoothly. The park staff were doing their best to ensure that everything was running smoothly, and they were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Overall, I highly recommend TriceraTop Spin for anyone looking for a fun and exciting ride at the park. Despite the minor inconvenience, I give it a four-star rating and look forward to visiting again in the future!

So fun! Sitting in the front allows up and down control of the Dino, while sitting in the back allows tilt control. A fun ride, classic and a nice shaded waiting area.

We like the ride and really sad it is being torn down to put in Encanto boo. No more Dino land how sad. One ride you really didn't need a fast pass for. January 12 closing down.

When my family rode on this ride, my kids were just 3 and 1. It was perfect for them. No waiting in line as we came on a not so busy day. The ride was perfectly timed, not too long that it gets boring and not too short that you felt rushed. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and this is a must do for younger kids while at this park!

Yelp
I'm writing this review because I'm not sure of the fate of my beloved Triceratop Spin once Dinoland USA at Animal Kingdom is converted to the new Indiana Jones land (or whatever it is the Imagineers are cooking up). This kiddie ride has a special place in my heart, because 1. I love the classic Dumbo ride and 2. I love dinosaurs. This ride is Dumbo, but with dinos! It's showing its age and is worn out and in disrepair, faded and sad, a mere shell of the heyday. There's hardly ever a line to ride and sometimes you get lucky and the cast members will let you stay on board for another flight around Dinoland USA. Riders in the front control the up and down motion, while riders in the back tip the dino backward and forward. Sit in the front if you want to fly high! There isn't much of a view from the top, but this is a fun ride for kids and kids at heart.

Yelp
Adorable kids ride in the Dinosaur area of Animal Kingdom. The area itself is circus themed with rides and games. This ride is much like Dumbo or the Magic Carpets. Seated ride where you go up and down in a circle in a themed car. The line was very short - we waited less than five minutes to jump on. Our toddler loved it and wanted to get right back on and do it again. It fits one adult and one child per car and they are spacing groups out for COVID social distancing. Overall: A A really fun option for little ones that can't ride many of the larger / faster rides. Our toddler loved it.

Yelp
This is a fun ride at animal kingdom that all of our family members enjoyed. My youngest daughter really enjoyed this one for sure it was neat seeing my kids on this and they had a great time

Yelp
Fast line and a nice touch to the area. It's pretty much the same as the Dumbo ride, but it can seat more people in each Triceratops so I was able to join my sons and enjoy a nice relaxing ride in the back seat. As with Dumbo, you can control the height. I do wish there was water or something beneath for visual interest. Dinoland is the least scenic part of the park in general.

Yelp
This is the best ride option for kids around the 40" height area in Dinoland USA in the Animal Kingdom park (which is unfortunately still too short for Primeval Whirl ride). It's nearly identical to the Dumbo ride at Magic Kingdom, except with big, green triceratops dinosaurs. There was never a line while we were visiting, and my son was able to ride 5 or 6 times consecutively without having to wait. I didn't see that the joystick controls in either the front or back seats of the cars did anything, but even without being able to control the cars, it's a fun ride nonetheless. Being so high up, it also gives you a pretty good view of the rest of the Dinoland USA area while on the ride.

Yelp
I am reviewing this ride from my grandson's perspective. Very tame for an adult. However, it is one of the rides that allows the toddlers to control whether the dino goes up or down. Very basic, but geared to the younger crowd. 4 can ride per dino so the line moves a little more quickly. Go take a spin.

Yelp
The Triceratop Spin is a simple ride, but is still fun for all ages. Located in the carnival area of the Animal Kingdom, this ride is similar to the Magic Kingdom's Dumbo and Aladdin rides. The basic idea is that you enter the ride vehicle, in this case a Triceratops, and the ride spins you around a central post. Inside the Triceratops are controls which allow you to go up and down, or tilt forward or backwards. The difference between this ride and others is that there are two rows of seats and two separate controls. In the rear seating area are the controls which allow the rider to go up or down. The front controls tilt. If you happen to be riding in the front with your younger daughter while your oldest is in charge of the controls in the back, look out. I was subjected to multiple rounds of going as high as the ride would allow with pretty much zero control on my end. When I looked back to demand she lower the ride so her father would stop freaking out, my youngest decided that would be a good time to tilt the ride forward. If there would have been a camera on the ride, I am sure my look would have been priceless. The addition of height and forward tilt is not my idea of fun, but the kids do seem to love it. There is usually a wait for this ride, but the line moves quickly. If the line is short, I recommend riding it several times in a row.

Yelp
It's the Dumbo ride. No different. Just triceratops instead of Dumbo. Fun for kids. The ride spins. You go up and down. Solid.

Yelp
This is your average "spin type" ride of this sort similar to Dumbo and Magic Carpets of Aladdin, except this one is not nearly as cool. On the neat side, the triceratops look crap in your pants adorable and while you're on the ride, more triceratops pop out and smile at you. Some even have balls...I mean they're holding "play balls"; fish your dirty mind out of the gutter. The ride vehicles also have stars painted along the bottom. Maybe it's to symbolize the cute dino's ambitions- that if he just keeps shining on like the crazy diamond he is one day he can shoot for the stars; or perhaps Peter Pan and Tinkerbell soared overhead and spilled some pixie dust over Dinoland USA....I don't get it either

Yelp
A ride for the kids. Similar to the Astro Spin or the Magic Carpet ride in Magic Kingdom. Control in the front to make the triceratops go up and down, control in the back tips the car forward and backward. Well designed, otherwise boring ride for thrill-seekers. Get a good view of Dino-land.

Yelp
It's fine. Much like Dumbo or Aladdin's Flying Carpets at Magic Kingdom. The dinosaurs are cute and cartoonish.

Yelp
This ride is just like every other spinning/flying ride- but my 4 year old loved it. The line was short and you can take your baby on it too, which was definitely a plus.

Yelp
Yes, this is a corny little kiddie ride. And I loved it. Short lines, fun to cruise your Dino up and down and good for a laugh.
