Tridentine Diocesan Museum

A must if you want to learn about the council of Trento: that by itself is a reason to visit... but that's just one floor of the museum and the rest of the collection of religious art is definitely worth the visit as well. So if you are in Trento, make some time for this!

This is the third museum I visited during my stay in Trento. I didn't know it existed until I found out that it is located next to Duomo di Trento. It is quite small compared to other museums (MUSE and Buonconsiglio), but the art and other collections are pretty interesting. It has three floors, I suggest to start observing from the highest one. I spent an hour to explore all the rooms, even though I wish some of the restricted areas can be accessed because that would be very cool. Overall its quite recommended!

Great museum. Nice to bring your kids. Elevators accessible and fantastic items to see.

A must see in Trento, for free if you have a Trento card. It is located in the Palace of the Prince, with subtitles in English. Sometimes it is difficult to find the route and you end up in a storage and shouting guards are chasing you out but it is worth it. It has 3 levels with fantastic art pieces. The museum shop is poor.

Impressive collection of mostly religious art and history of Trento. Free if you have a Trentino guest card.

It was a nice museum with 3 diffent floors with a lot of history.

Lots of medieval and renaissance art can be found on three floors.
