Triglav National Park Information Center

Did not expect to find such a large and well appointed visitor center but Triglav is world famous. Walk around upstairs for exhibits or simply enjoy the stunning scenery outside. Either way you will be happy. Start of the way up to Vrsic pass

I didn't like the museum. Yes, the introductory 15-minute short film was also shown in German, but it didn't convey any meaning; it offered hardly any information. Two plants that grow in the national park were mentioned...otherwise, it was just trivial stuff. I would have liked to learn something about the national park through it, for example, about the animals that live there, bears, plants, glaciers, and mountains. Some parts of the exhibit weren't labeled, not all were in English, or there were song lyrics that weren't translated... I wouldn't watch it again, the €6 entrance fee was too much for me.

Stayed for a night during the Alpe Adria trail. Clean, cozy room with a well equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast in. Small shop nearby (also takes cards) to gather the necessary ingredients as well as hiking rations. We were three people, our room featured two beds and a double bed sized convertible couch which worked well enough. The shower offered warm water aplenty. The surrounding area was very quiet and serene to look at. Can recommend a stay!

Beautiful ❗It's a beautiful valley of peace and health. Place to return💕 Starting point for mountaineers and hikers. In the background is the highest mountain of Slovenia, "Triglav", the road leads into the Trenta Valley through the Soče Valley, a beautiful river known for its emerald colour of water and beautiful nature. Along the road from Bovca to Trento there are many campsites and tourist farms where you can sleep.

Super friendly and helpful people! Were patient and gave a great suggestion for a tour!

No bears found in whole national Park :(

Lovely visitor centre with a small gift shop, lots of info on the area and park and really helpful staff that spoke English. There were also nice clean loos. Well work a visit if you are going to the park and its just off the pass so hard to miss.
