Trina Turk | Mr Turk | Palm Springs Boutique

Time flies when you’re getting gorgeous!! This long overdue review is from a Trina treatyoself in December where Jeffrey could not have been any more wonderful or helpful! My bags were already over capacity, and he stayed LATE to get all my Trina gems shipped back home to me with a lovely little note. He also took care of me and my partner while I was trying on hanger after hanger, getting new sizes, offering feedback, and even doing sequin surgery on a zipper! My Trina shop was such a boost, and I’m so lucky I have Jeffrey as my Trina guide now. If you’re going in, ask for him. He won’t steer you wrong.

Stopped in at Trina Turk's original store. Now adjacent is Mr Turk. Plus some great house ware and gift ideas. Tempted to buy one of the puzzles that would definitely be challenging. As you can see pink looks like the color for the summer.

My favorite designer ! I always stop by when I'm in PS, just to get the lastest swim wear . Matt is amazing !

Both Mr. Turk and Trina Turk have style and class in these designs, and I love the materials used to create unique casual attire. My daughter and I had a lovely time shopping there.

Love Mr. Turk clothes for my husband. We shop here every time we visit Palm Springs. Matt is amazing and is always so much help. The textiles used in the men's (and women's) clothing never disappoint. The colors and patterns are always so full of joy and I get a kick out of seeing strangers reactions to the clothing when my husband wears it. Mr. Turk clothing brings smiles and happiness in everyday life!

This woman single-handedly lobbied for the relocation of the Forever Marylin art installation. Nobody wanted it, but her. It cost us about $500,000 to move. Why does she care? Her asthetic is/was mid-century modern inspired. The general public & tourists loved the statue. I'm also pretty sure it gave the museum well deserved revenue. Finally, I know several people who have bought her clothes. I have heard "overpriced", "cheaply crafted", & "falls apart". Maybe she's she was just jealous seeing an iconic gown a couple of stories high that she will never have the talent to come even close to that design.

One of the worst shops in Palm Springs. The owner seems to think she owns the town. Prices are ridiculous for what they sell. There are so many other shops in Palm Springs that are so much better. Will never put a foot in any of her shops.

I’m from the Midwest and vacation to Palm Springs a couple times a year. The Trina Turk store is an absolute “must visit” on every trip. The past few times I’ve been there, I’ve been helped by a super rad girl named Nicole. This last time I visited (a couple days ago), as soon as I walked in, she remembered me and seemed genuinely glad I was there. She is always super helpful and fun, a real gem for this place. As a person that has owned a small retail shop for a long time, she has exactly the right attitude for this place. Keep up the kickass work, I’ll see ya again in about six months!

My wife has been wanting to stop in here for quite some time, and we finally got a chance this past weekend. The store has a cool vibe, the clothing is all brightly colored, but the prices are what I would consider outrageous. In addition to clothing, they also sell accessories, books, and décor items for midcentury modern/contemporary homes. The staff was very friendly, and it was fun looking around, but I probably won't be making a return visit. There's a small parking lot available in the rear, but primarily on street parking.

Love, love, love the designs, the selections and everything about this store. This is my first stop when I arrive and I will buy items online in between visits. Fabulous! If you want lots of compliments, this is the place to shop!

So much color! So much delight! A nice gentleman greeted us when we arrived in the store. We wandered through the men's clothing, the books with relaxing vacation locales, the bedding, the pillows, the glasses. Then through the gaunlet of swimming suits and cover up and into the women's clothing. I am a bright clothing girl and the fall clothes were more burgundy, neutrals, but I found a pair of pajamas to try on. Unfortunately they were 3/4 sleeves which doesn't work so well for my home state of MN. They also had some fun vintage clothing racks. The gentleman who helped me was very gracious. I'll be back next time I'm in Palm Springs!

I do not recommend this place. The clothing line is not at all pleasing and it seems overpriced Don't waste your time or money here. There are several great shops downtown Palm Springs.

Such a staple of Palm Springs. Purchased lots of Xmas gift for the family. Hopefully it will get them out here and enjoy the sunshine. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well they treated the mutzzzz as royalty. Dog friendly store.

I always like the clothes, and I find Matt to be extraordinarily helpful - especially because I am unreasonably tall, and he was very helpful with sizing. My only grouse would be that the fitting rooms are extremely hot.

Horrible customer service. Way too much attitude. It was like a scene in Pretty Woman.

I was looking forward to making a stop here based on the good reviews but it was closed at 6:15pm although it closed at 7pm. Maybe I'll try next time I'm in town but doubtful.

The Trina Turk store just oozes Palm Springs and desert chic I just love this store and every time I visit Palm Springs I make a point of coming here. It's so spacious and the decor is just beautiful. The clothing is very well made, on trend but also timeless. Bright bold designs. Yes, it is pricey but you will have the clothes for years. The staff were super helpful without being annoying. Mr. Turk side of the store is just charming and aimed at the man who is confident on trend and not afraid to wear chic colorful beautifully designed clothing. Everything here from bathing suits to fabulous shirts, suits and home decor. Again I loved it. So if you are in Palm Springs drop in and you will fall in love.

I absolutely love Trina Truly! I have been wearing her clothing for 10+ years and it is always current, yet timeless and lasts for years. This is by far my favorite location, a huge store, actually 3, women's, men's and the best accessories and home accents ever! Always so colorful and uplifting, I enjoy shopping here every time! Service is also great, highly recommended!

Such a fabulous store. There's three parts of the store. First is the women's wear section. Second is the men's wear section. Third is the home lifestyle section. This store is housed under the architect Albert Frey. He was one of the famous Mid Century Modern Architects. Even inside of the store is decorated in Mid Century Modern. Absolutely beautiful throughout the whole place. Believe it or not they do often have sales there. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They do remember me. I'm known because of my height it's a dead giveaway. Ladies go into the dressing rooms it's a dream. Definitely IG worthy. So do it for the gram okay! The men's sizes doesn't go up to XXL only for XL. The home lifestyle section has mostly everything to spruce up you're place for a taste of Mid Century Modern. From pillows, bar ware, books, and dinnerware. They have it. When you go outside there's a sculpture that's Mid Century Modern as well. IG worthy as well. There's a lot of beautiful merchandise in this palace of haute couture de Palm Springs.

Charles L. makes this shop fantastic! His cheerful disposition and thorough knowledge of the store's complete inventory as well as other stores ensured I was able to purchase exactly what I wanted and receive it quickly. I couldn't be happier. Go see him for some stylish clothing. You won't be disappointed!

Quintessential Palm Springs !! Enjoyed !! This store was so cool . The area is filled with really interesting shops & a abundance of restaurants. Was happy I ventured out .

I have been a customer of Trina Turk/ Mr. Turk for a number of years and have spent literally tens of thousands. This morning I thought it was around 22,000 but I was looking back through my receipts and I spent around $30,000.00. However I will never be patronizing the store again. During the shut down they let three of their employees go. Who have been there between 4 years and 15 years. But yet they retained an employee who is only there two years. It's pretty clear like most businesses they did this in an effort to cut hourly wages and I'm guessing they will probably hire new people at a lower salary. It just seems like a very crappy thing to do I hope I'm wrong and I hope they bring those people back but for right now he just seems very wrong.

If you're in Palm Springs and you have style, then you already know about this spot. Yes, it's expensive but you're investing in pieces that stand out, are quality made, and are just plain fun. The store also has great employees. Shoutouts to Paul and Grant. They bring that Palm Springs style to life. I look forward to coming back soon!

One of my all time favorite shopping experiences! Business casual, evening, or poolside I suit up here. In the Palm Springs flagship store, Trina's homegoods and books are also beautifully curated for gifts or a treat for yourself!

Trina Turk in Palm Springs - the mother ship of this fabulous brand, has the best offerings and, thank heavens, great sales.  I want to shout out the Sales Associate Nicole.  I am a not a skinny girl, so, at first, I thought there would be nothing there for me.  Nicole said: oh, I'll find you some things, and she did.  She knows how to fit every figure, every woman, every aesthetic and she does is with grace and charm.  I never felt like "the fat girl".  Instead I felt fabulous and she got me into styles and things that I thought I could never wear.  I call Nicole the "Big Girl Whisperer" cuz she always makes it work! Without Nicole, I would not have all these fabulous pieces in my closet.

Do Not order from Trina Turk! I sent a dress back because of the neckline it was the boat look & I put it right back in their packaging? Tissue paper & all & they don't want to give me a refund. Do Not order from them. Terrible experience!

Nicole was very very Rude with our group, not sure why .. it seems because we were Latinos and she didn't thought we can't afford the great selection of swimming wear. I don't understand why this sales person works here and I am assure you I will pass along the information to all our friends and Family.

Pretty disappointing..... On a recent trip to Coachella Valley to visit family, my partner and I stopped into Mr. Turk because as a former Palm Springs resident I wanted to visit the store again and get a pair of trousers that had been advertised via the Mr. Turk customer email registry/sign up. Well, Mrs. Turk was present in the store this day, however, did not even acknowledge us while we were there and while we purchased 3 items totaling over $1100.00. (edit: It was 4 items not 3) She didn't have the decency say "Hello", or "Thank You", nothing. She was flitting about the store talking with the other customers, etc. But not us. HUGE MISS ON HER PART! Granted, I personally do not "look the part" of the standard/typical Turk customer, as I was dressed in fashions that are not of the same ilk in regards to fabric and styling, but are of exceptional quality and fabrics none the less. Just not her style. I received the side eye from a couple of the female staff onsite, with the facial expression of "What are you doing in our store?" which was not really appreciated either, but you know what, I don't care what their opinion of me is, I'm shopping here because I can afford to. I'm in your store keeping you employed by purchasing your overpriced, marginal goods. That is what I'm doing in your store. I believe EVERYONE should be treated with the same respect and pleasantries as those who may shop here on a more frequent basis, and regardless if you "look" like the standard Turk client. So much for forging relationships with potential repeat customers who have no problem laying down some good money for a few items of clothing. This lack of appreciation and sub par customer service on her behalf; coupled with the overall attitude of the stores patrons and employees really put a bad taste in my mouth and does not make me want to return, for anything. Now, lets talk quality of the merchandise/garments. Its lacking. The fabrics stretch tremendously while you are wearing them, and only can have a proper fit again after they are laundered/dry cleaned. You get about 2 hours of wear in them before they start to sag, bag, bulge, etc. and I was left constantly hiking my trousers up because they stretched out to the point they were falling off of me. Talk about embarrassing. Another thing Mr Turk seems to do is adjust their sizing so as to make it appear as though the customer is a size other than their true size. Example: I am a 31-32 waist in EVERY brand of pant ever bought, from Burberry to John Varvatos to Diesel, etc., etc. But, in Mr. Turk sizes I'm a 28 - 29!?! I haven't been that actual size since high school and I'm well into my years of mid-life now. And the sizes marked as 30 or 32 would be more like a 36 or larger in any other brand. I think Mr. Turk does this so as to make their average customer "feel" or "believe" they are a smaller size than they truly are. I guess large people don't want top be reminded of how large they are. A poor attempt at making the customer feel like something they are not. IDK, thats "Not my circus. Not my monkey", as they say, in regards to how they present their goods to consumers.

Went into the store waiting for a dinner reservation. Nicole who was working was so pleasant and happy to help. Some stores have such horrible service these days. It was a breath of fresh air to meet the sweet salespeople. Nicole pulled clothes for me and made me feel confident and happy with my choices. I didn't expect to buy as much as I did but she did such a great job finding things that fit my body and were flattering and made me feel good. Beyond excellent service and experience.

This boutique is beautiful, well laid out and the staff are top notch. Not to mention, it's Trina Turk! Her designs and prints are both unique and beautiful. The quality of the fabrics and the construction of the garments for the price are an amazing value. I visited this boutique with my dear friends who live a few blocks away. We had a great time shopping (and spending!) with Sean and all of the staff. After picking out 5 gorgeous pieces, I realized my suitcase was already overstuffed. Sean offered to ship to me for $8 (! only $8!) and that saved me over $90 in sales tax. The package just arrived, beautifully wrapped, and on time as promised. Thank you TT and Team!

Love this place! Pricey but you'll find something that you want in your price range. We bought two interesting plastic tumblers for by the pool and a dress. Bright and fun.

I had previously only seen Trina Turk clothing at department stores. I didn't realize she had opened her own boutiques let alone one in Palm Springs! This boutique has a swank interior that makes you feel like you stepped into a luxurious vintage department store. I loved the shag carpeting, white basket weave chairs and chandeliers. As for her clothes, they are very "California chic" - bright colors and great prints!

My friend and I had so much fun shopping here. The store is bright and airy. The sales associates are WONDERFUL and so helpful. Linda helped me. She worked very hard for me and made sure that I found something beautiful. I purchased some great pink and green wicker patterned shorts. I love the colors and patterns that Trina Turk designs.

If I didn't already love the brand (which I do!), I would shop here for the customer service and the value they place on relationships alone. I rarely encounter such a customer-centric business, outside of my own employer (but that's kind of our "thing"), and I have never been disappointed by any experience with this boutique. What do I mean? Let's see...they get to know repeat customers by name. They set aside items they think I'll love or that fit my style so I can try them when I come in. They respond to email, usually in a few minutes if it's during business hours. They offer solutions to ridiculous problems that are not their fault (dry cleaner ruined my sweater, TSA caught and ripped my pants with my suitcase zipper.) I could go on and on, but hopefully you see the trend. As another reviewer mentioned, you absolutely get what you pay for. This is not "fast fashion" (code for garbage quality), and you will never be overlooked when wearing Trina Turk/Mr. Turk. This is a statement brand, the quality is excellent, and the customer service is second to none.

This store is FAB! If your in the desert! It's a must stop! Don't let these silly political posts about a Marilyn statue stop you from looking fabulous. No matter where Marilyn goes Trina Turk is fabulous! So shop away and enjoy life.

Grant was beyond helpful. He made shopping fun and colorful and truly made me want to come back. He is knowledgeable, funny and turned a least favorite past time into one i actually enjoyed. The store was clean, bright, and welcoming. It felt like home complete with my own water bottle

The Trina Turk and Mr. Turk clothing store is one of the best dress shops between Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs. I have been coming here for years and witnessed as this amazing designer expanded her presence to encompass almost the entire block. I love trying on men's shirts and pants at Mr. Turk. The sales people are helpful and professional. There always seems to be a fresh rack of swimsuits to browse, even in the summertime! Trina designs beautiful patterns for fabrics and has a gift for combining color with contemporary resort style. She is a trendsetter and always in the forefront of fashion. If you want to have a good time and enjoy an honest to goodness Palm Springs shopping experience then come to see Trina Turk and Mr. Turk. You will love it too.

Trina Turk is Palm Spings glamour, defined. I've always loved TT's designs so experiencing the store itself was high on my Palm Springs To-Do list. Desert-Chic is the theme, with gold, white and turquoise all around. The shag carpeting and the crystal chandeliers are lux, squared. But despite the gorgeous store, I just couldn't bring myself to buy anything. Although the staff was helpful and the dresses I tried on were gorgeous, I couldn't swallow the equally "luxurious" prices. Definitely stop in if you're ever in Palm Springs, since it's right on the way into town - but I chose to save my $$ for the Desert Hills Outlets (and scored big time!).

Cool shop. Dig all the overpriced home goods, a great place to get inspiration, design ideas & then go hunting for the same stuff at a fraction of the price else where. Cool clothes & when they are on sale they are an ok value. The ladies that work here are aloof, shy or just shallow. No personalities to speak of just empty shells barley trying to help you. The most amazing thing about the staff at Tina Turk is their uncanny ability to make you feel guilty for even being in their store. Like they are doing you huge favor just by letting you be in the same room as them...

This review is a bit late in the making. Since COVID, I have some new found extra time. And, after a few months, had a reason to wear my Mr Turk. Anyway, here goes. Always great fashion, however this time, the shopping experience was even better than usual, due to one sales person who really assisted and took time , and even during the shut down , has reached out to see if I needed anything more via online shopping. Andy in Palm Desert is a great asset to your team....thank you Andy. I will be back soon for more shopping

Great boutique if your not on a tight budget. Unique and fun designer clothing and gifts. Friendly staff in a nice area of Palm Springs.

Wow, what a beautiful store. This space really stands out among the old and tired facade of other shops on this street. I had to stop and take a quick pic for my yelp review, but the look the sales girl gave me could have turned me to stone. She continued on in her ice queen persona, but that didn't deter my shopping. The male employee's were all really friendly, so who knows what was up with her. I flipped through all the Tina pieces I was dying to see in person, but had to cut my visit short because the store was closing. Palm Springs is the perfect venue for the house of turk! I didn't even know about her home collection!

I've been into the Palm Springs store several times and spent well over $3000 there over the last two years. I went in today to make a purchase. There were 4 employees and no customers. As I walked in 1 employee said "hi". I looked at clothes for several minutes and found some things I liked but I had questions. I looked over to where all the employees were and no one could be bothered to come help me. I left the store and won't be back! Their customer service sucks!

I have shopped Trina Turk Palm Springs for several years. I love the vibe in that store and I especially love to work with Janet...she is a very special lady...and very fashion conscious. All of the people in that store are amazing...including Grant... he is a dear. Kudos to Trina for her designs and to all of the great people at Trina Turk Palm Springs.

Stopped here on a recent trip to Palm Springs. I like Trina Turk's clothes but had never been to one of her stores. The store is light and open and very chic. The staff was helpful in finding sizes. The store carries clothing, jewelry and shoes. It also has a small men's section.

I visited the store in early March and found a beautiful dress and some shoes (all the while having a very lovely time because the sales people are always so nice), which I had shipped to me. When the dress showed up, it was the wrong size, and since the pandemic was in full mode, the Trina Turk store was closed. I was able to reach someone by email, and I have to say this solo person, who is visiting different stores (I think) was so nice and helpful, and sent me a return shipping label, and I just received the right size today! I am quite happy to have accomplished this feat, and am very grateful that the Trina Turk Palm Springs store had someone so helpful still taking care of customers, even during this ongoing, never-ending pandemic!

I must say, I am a HUGE fan of Trina Turk. So, while visiting Palm Springs, this was the ONLY place I really wanted to visit and I was NOT disappointed. The store itself is just beautifully done. Colorful, Vibrant and Retro. Which is very true to Trina's design style and perfect for Palm Springs. Of course all the merchandise (clothes, residential, jewelry etc.) was amazing. But what I really loved... How nice the employees were! A lot of designer stores don't have great customer service, unless you look like a big spender, however everyone was helpful and attentive to every single person who walked into the store. I love that they offer you water when you walk in and have small ice buckets filled with tiny bottles in the store. This is perfect, with the Palm Springs heat. Shout out to Janet, who helped us with our purchases. As well as another girl (whose name I didn't get) who shared he secret to keeping Bed Sets white. Can't wait to visit here again and I love my purchases!

Trina Turk Turned Me Away! Even though this happened to me years ago (ca. 2004), it must be Yelped. I walked up to the door 15 minutes before closing time, and it was locked. I looked inside, and there were two sales people glaring at me, and one of them shook his head no. They weren't going to let me in! I was shocked. Never mind that I had prepared to spend some serious cash. I guess I just didn't fit into their shopper criteria for that day. Needless to say, based on this one experience with some horrible workers (who probably aren't there anymore), I won't shop Trina Turk...not in her stores, nor in any others.

Lovely store and staff. We were offered a glass of wine as we browsed, and I fell in love with nearly everything in the women's clothing department. Lots of dresses, homewares, and a "Mr. Turk" section, in addition to her signature swimsuits.

Always a treat! The staff is friendly & so helpful! Merchandise is always changing & love it all! Great home goods, clothing & accessories! You can always find something fun and unique! A must stop if a local or just visiting! 5 STARS!!!!

Somehow my review was removed, so I'll repost: My wife purchased two Trina Turk outfits at Saks on El Paseo a couple of days ago, so we thought we'd visit the Palm Springs boutique and do some shopping. We arrived Sunday, Jan 1 at around 4 PM, entered the housewares section and were immediately greeted by a nice man. We went next door to the apparel section and were completely ignored by a sales associate who didn't greet or offer to help us (brunette, accent). She had ample time, but made no effort whatsoever. Our rule is 'no greeting, no purchase.' we left and won't be back. There are way too many brands whose sales staff appreciate our business, so no need to start buying Trina Turk. The two pieces we bought at Saks will be the extent of the Trina Turk we buy.

They were not friendly in this store. I was holding an item to buy while I was browsing and they asked me if I was going to purchase it which was odd and rude, I was annoyed so I decided not to buy it so they then gave it to another customer to buy it. Don't shop here, not a fun experience and the sales staff is pretty amateur.
