Pretty good for the price. Nice staff. The room was clean. They need to spend a little money and update the pans and cutlery and range/oven but it all worked. Was VERY quiet. Close to beaches. The television was really small for the distance it was to the bed. Kitchen light was really dim. We were happy there. I’m just mentioning these things in case someone else might not like some of those things. Overall good and we would probably stay here again. We were in room 2.

Cute little, old school accomodation with a full kitchen (which we were not expecting so a bonus). Nestled in the woods and very quiet. Loved it!

Was not some fancy place. It was nice and cozy. The staff was amazing and the general relaxing feeling of being in the wilderness. The room was nice just what you need to be comfortable. Pots pans plates etc in kitchen clean bed and some tv if you want. Wifi was OK but I wasn't here for that. Nice quiet place just to get away from the heat and chaos.

We stayed here en-route to Seattle from San Francisco and were recommended to stop in Trinidad by the national parks tourist info centre when planning a trip from Australia. Had no idea what to expect, and this was the only place that could accommodate us at the time of our travel. It was a little more pricey than some of the other places we stopped along the way for - but it was worth every penny! We had room #1 which was the two storey room with the loft bedroom - a welcome relief as the kids each had own double bed after having to share for the week before. The beds were comfy, and real feathered quilts!! The room was a great size with a lounge room and separate kitchen. Very quiet - at least it was when we stayed there! The forest on the back doorstep was just such a wonderful surprise and much loved by our kids to explore. Wish we could only have stayed longer. It's a little dated, but we thought it added to the charm - suits the little place that Trinidad is in itself. The room was clean and had all the amenities including a gas fireplace!! Would highly recommend and this was a standout location and accommodation for our kids - so glad we stopped by.

This is a cute little place. The kitchens are a perfect size and well stocked. The beds are comfortable. It is not far off Hwy 101 and day trips were easy. Trinidad state park was about 5 minutes away. There is a perfect little grocery (Murphy's Market) is a few minutes away and they have fresh seafood. |The only downside is the staff was not there in the mornings, especially when the electricity went out unexpectedly or the internet was out.

We were here in March and couldn't wait to return. We had unit 7 this time and it was wonderful. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that weren't as clean. My puppies love the walk on the trail through the Redwoods at the back of the property. Lashawna has the perfect personality to work in this industry. She truly cares that your stay is pleasant. We are looking forward to going back again.

Google
Not sure how this place got such a high rating, quaint is not the word. The walls are thin as paper along with the windows. The refrigerator made more noise than the car is going by and the bed was very uncomfortable. The saving grace, was the staff. They were absolutely fabulous.

Google
this was an interesting experience! the location is beautiful and the front desk was nice. however, $190/night for the quality of a motel 6 room felt wrong. also, i'd really like to recommend that this place support their cleaning staff more -- i listened to a housekeeper next door yell, throw and slam things in frustration for quite a while. and i mean YELL -- for 10 minutes or so. kind of a weird vibe, sounds like understaffing is a problem.

Khalilah Y.

Yelp
I had such an amazing experience at Trinidad Inn. I embarked on this journey as research for my Sci-Fi Thriller "REDWOODS". Lashawna at the front desk was exceptionally kind and resourceful. The rooms were cute and had all the amenities that I needed. The WiFi was a bit scarce in certain areas of the property. There's a beautiful forest right there with a fun trail to walk, leading to beautiful views and nature wonders. There's several outdoor areas to sit in. Basketball court. Picnic area. Fire pit. Mini Library inside of the office. I would definitely stay here again. Peaceful. Clean. Safe. Restaurants nearby. Even if you don't go to the official Redwoods National Park, this is a great spot to experience GLORIOUS REDWOODS!

Yelp
This is where I stayed when I was visiting the Redwood Coast. I absolutely loved my time here. Trinidad Inn is a really cute quiet property nestled within the trees. It is located in the city of Trinidad just a short drive from the beach. The beds were cozy and I had a little kitchen with a table in my room. I was sick of eating out all the time on my trip and had the opportunity to cook myself a couple home-cooked meals in my kitchen. There is a grocery store nearby in the town area. I enjoyed going for some evening walks on the property. There is a gazebo with a picnic table at the center. They have a number of DVD's in the office that you can borrow if you want to watch movies in your room. This place is such a gem and I would totally book again. Great customer service too!

Yelp
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, my family camped at Patrick's Point SP. My brother in law and his wife wanted to join us for the holiday, but did not want to camp. They were glad to find the Trinidad Inn, which is just a couple of miles south of Patrick's Point. The Inn is quaint, cute, and simple. Rooms are on the small side, but feature TVs, microwaves, minifridges, and private bathrooms. The Inn advertises that they are pet friendly; however, my brother in law received a phone call from the hotel that his dog was barking and bothering other guests while he was visiting us in our campsite. Not so much a "complaint" as much as an observation: The Redwood parks generally do not allow dogs on trails, so if you bring a dog on your trip, you can't really take them with you while you explore the parks. So when a motel advertises they are "dog friendly," you would hope they would account for dogs barking in rooms. The little cottages are small and close together, so I can see how a barking dog would be troublesome... but then, maybe don't advertise you're a dog-friendly place. All in all, seems like a nice little place for a quiet couple to get mostly off the grid for a couple days.

Barbara R.

Yelp
The inn is conveniently located and the check-in smooth. Unfortunately, our room was not very clean. There was pet hair all over the couch. The room smelled stale and the furnishings seemed old.

Jillian M.

Yelp
Super accommodating and very comfortable beds! It was also very clean. We plan on staying here again.

Sherry M.

Yelp
Last minute reservations on a whim. I'm so glad we stayed at this little gem of a hotel. Cottages were clean and had a small kitchenette. It was nice to be able to make us a nice breakfast before travels for the day. We especially liked that we had a private trail to hike through the beautiful forest to the beach.

Jessie P.

Yelp
This place was the perfect place we could have chosen to stay. Just the right amount of privacy and the scenery was beautiful. It's quiet in the rooms but you have the option of socializing at the fire pit, bbq, gazebo or basketball court. Adjacent trails to the inn in the redwood forest. Short journey to the heart of Trinidad and to the beach. The rooms were perfect size and clean, with a kitchenette. Plenty of towels and commodities. The inn keeper was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Taylor L.

Yelp
We were on a honeymoon road trip and were staying in the "honeymoon suite". On our last night, a family checked in at TEN THIRTY pm, waking us up between their loud talking and running up the stairs which are directly on the other side of the paper thin wall. The family proceeded to yell and even smoked directly outside our door and next to our car. We tried calling both numbers provided for the inn, but both went to message. We thought the inn was quaint, but it's honestly just outdated, not very clean, and poorly managed.

Katie Z.

Yelp
What is not to love about this little inn??? We booked the two story suite. It was so nice to have the space for a few days with our pup. Trail to a rad cemetery and little downtown were just behind the inn. About a 2 mile walk but worth it. Great little grocery store, wine shop, and eateries all within walking.

Tamara P.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a family member who had a pleasant experience previously so I thought I'd give it a try. The room was okay, bed was somewhat comfortable, but the pillows were super lumpy. The weather wasn't great, high winds and some drizzle so the power went off intermittently and then there was no water! No communication from the motel staff. It appears the property is up for sale so it seems a little run down. I am not a very picky person and I do understand things happen, but I won't be revisiting.

Susan M.

Yelp
Quaint inn. Love location to Trinidad. Great walk to beach with redwoods behind property.

Maria S.

Yelp
GREAT little motel for our Redwood hiking adventure! Room was so much bigger than standard hotel room which was good for 3 adults and all our stuff. Fridge and microwave made easy to eat in after a long day of hiking. Nice forest setting and not far from sue meg state park and prairie creek redwoods. I felt the the price was so fair compared to many places these days. The lady at the front was so so nice and had futon made up for my daughter because we rolled in late after a 12 hour drive. Definitely my kind of place!!!!

John O.

Yelp
We headed to Trinidad and on the way up we found this place on yelp. Once we finally got there we were pleased with the look of the place. It sits on the edge of the forest and scenic highway. The woman who ran the place was friendly and helpful. She was very accommodating. We stayed in the family unit which was clean and cozy. Outside of our unit there was a bbq and a firepit which we put to good use. I would highly recommend staying there is you are looking for a place in Trinidad. I give it a 5 star review because we had no complaints and the place was very reasonably priced.

James M.

Yelp
We have been coming to Trinidad Inn for over 15 years and it changed ownership a few years ago. We stayed several nights in a room without the kitchen. Our neighbors stayed in the rooms with a kitchen mentioned that the water from the taps was rusty and the shower was in poor shape. The grounds, rooms and equipment. ((grills, chairs, etc) have sadly fallen into a very bad state. The town in general has many hotels boarded up. It's a shame as the setting is magical. Hopefully the owners will fix things and clean up the grounds. Not sure if I will be coming back. Very sad.

Jesse P.

Yelp
Had the most amazing stay at the Trinidad Inn. Super clean, very attentive hosts, nice grounds - the trail on the grounds was a super nice treat. One of the hosts mentioned a place for dinner, things to do in town, what not to miss while we were in for the night. The roadside motel possesses a quaint charm that attracts travelers of any skill. In the am, hosts offer a continental breakfast with oatmeal, my favorite, fruit, hard boiled eggs, plenty of coffee and a bounty of sweet breads and bagels. It's set in the classic gazebo in the middle of the property. Definitely will add this to my repertoire when I'm up this way next!

Yelp
This quiet, roadside inn is amazing. The best inn I've ever stayed at :) My husband and I needed a place to stay the day of for two nights and the lovely, soft spoken lady at the front desk (I'm so sorry I don't recall her name) was so accommodating and hooked us up with cabin 8 for the two nights! First of all, this property is amazing. A forest side, maple tree, fire pit garden dream! Just the quiet ambience of the forest is peaceful enough and then add the complimentary firewood and beautiful landscaping and you are in heaven. The cabin itself was just a cabin until we got in and lived in it for two nights. The heater and water pressure were on point but the best part was the makeup removal wipes and specific towels- so genius!!! And the wall hair dryer that doesn't look like much but my god, that is a mighty, tiny hair dryer :) The bed, couch and pillows were all so comfy and everything was so clean. This place is a gem amongst the Redwoods - we highly recommend you stay here. Plus the entire tiny town of Trinidad is one of the most beautiful places we'd never heard of until now :) Go, enjoy, and tread lightly to preserve this amazing place! Thank you Trinidad Inn!

Yelp
This little inn is in a good location ocean-wise, but is too close to the road for peace and quiet. The traffic is fairly loud with the windows closed, but we don't like stuffy rooms, so kept them open, which meant we had a lot of road noise, especially from the trucks going by constantly. Maybe the rooms farther away from the front are quieter, but they were all reserved, so we had to take what was available at the time we booked. The room we stayed in was a bit tight, but acceptable. The kitchen is good for microwaving food, or storing things in the fridge, but would be a bit hard to actually cook anything other than maybe a fried egg or similar simple thing. The walls, however, are paper thin-the occupant of the next room snored a lot the first night, and their TV was loud. It wasn't actually turned up overly loud, it just sounded like it was due to the aforementioned thin walls. They do need to add some outlets and charging ports-we had to string our extension cord under one of the beds from the only reachable outlet so that we could both plug in our laptops and phone chargers. The wi-fi was decent-not super fast, but adequate to check email, websites, etc. The manager (owner?) was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well stocked with towels.

Yelp
After leaving an unacceptable lodging in Arcata, I found this lovely inn near the beautiful Trinidad beach area with walking trails, outdoor cooking and sitting areas, and very nice grounds. The room I had was large, clean, included coffee, tea, a small fridge, and working fireplace. The owner, Myra was very welcoming and informative. There are good room size options, all in the beautiful redwoods setting. Good restaurants are near by.

Yelp
My husband and I (and our two young daughters) adored this place. We had a terrible hotel experience south of here, and got a room last minute. We booked the "romantic suite" and it was so sweet and charming. It had a VERY comfy king size bed and a very comfy futon for our girls. The room was very roomy and the property was so charming. This was one of the best parts of our week-long coastal trip. The girls loved exploring the "forest" and we even found a Banana slug! My husband and I enjoyed a fire in the outdoor fire pit while we drank a bottle of wine we picked up at a winery in monterey area. They had dvds to borrow but we never found the dvd player in the room. We would all rather be outside anyway. There were bowls and plates, silverware, glasses to use, and a wine bottle opener (thank you!). This room (#7) was on the end and pretty private. The other side of the property had a nice green grassy area with cornhole. Just a lovely place. I was so thankful to sleep here and would love to come back just to stay here! Thank you!

Amanda M.

Yelp
The perfect 'camp-getaway' from the hustle and bustle of The City, Trinidad Inn offers a quiet, spacious retreat into nature. Waking up each morning has been a sheer delight in that my room felt like I was in my grandmother's cottage. There is a rustic yet modern feel that adds a certain coziness--especially in wet weather. Even better is that you can walk a bit to the coastal town part of Trinidad and visit the aquarium, restaurants, pier and landmark bell. The town almost reminds you of the seaside towns in "Practical Magic" or "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Finally, what's even more appealing is the staff and management of the Trinidad Inn. They are completely warm, engaging and beyond accommodating. And EXTREMELY inclusive of LGBT individuals as I being a very out black trans-woman would trapse in between the buildings to the gazebo for the morning breakfast all the while receiving warm smiles from the staff and management. Trinidad Inn is a spectacular place to get away and just be yourself..

Edith R.

Yelp
What a gem in the forest. We made these reservations on the internet and truthfully there were not a lot of choices in the area. Most people camp in the redwoods. Upon arrival we were a little chagrined at the layout. It looks similar to a motel you would expect on Route 66 photos. The office is located in the front of the owners home and our room is in a row of six with parking in front of our room door. We were delighted when we unlocked our room. We have a roomy, not large bedroom with drop leaf dining table that could accommodate 6. A newly remodeled bathroom with shower and small vanity. Large closet with 2 luggage racks. The biggest surprise was the kitchenette. Small but a full stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small refrigerator and coffee pot. So nice to make a breakfast and eat with a view of the forest. We are actually in the forest with a trail that leads down to the Pacific Ocean. There is a fire pit if you want to enjoy a night time Bonfire. From here you can drive up 101 either north or south to see the redwoods. All in all a great experience and comfortable stay. We would come back.

Kristy P.

Yelp
Wonderful little gem of a motel. Nestled in the woods. Room was large, kitchenette was super nice with fill size fridge, stove, microwave & well furnished. Everything was real clean and comfortable ! We had our little dog with us and it worked out perfectly. Would absolutely stay there again..

Shelly C.

Yelp
My husband and I liked this place. It was immaculate and the owner is friendly. Our room came with a very nice water filtration system. The grounds were very nice and the continental breakfast was nice, although not if you have a gluten problem. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay again. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT OCEAN GROVE. Just by driving past you could see it was dirty, disheveled and inhabited by biker gangs... I'd definitely stay here again, especially given there aren't ma options in the area.

Lisa A.

Yelp
We loved this Inn private and affordable. We went during the off season, but still beautiful. Great place for a get away. Food at The eatery Trinidad bY the beach. Looking forward in July to return for our second honeymoon Living quarters was clean and beautiful.

Eric C.

Yelp
I had no idea where to even start when looking for a place here in the Redwoods National Parks area. I went online and noticed that many people on Trip Advisor had recommended Trinidad Inn so I went ahead with it. WOW! I was completely caught by surprise. They should update their website because it doesn't do them justice. First off, it was very easy to book. Give them a call (you may have to leave a message) and you should get a call back fairly soon afterwards. They do give a AAA discount so be sure to mention that if you have it. Relatively inexpensive for the location and the amenities. (About $140 for the room that we were in). There are many rooms to choose from based on how many and types of beds that you want. Each living quarters is like a furnished little condo and in no ways resembles what you may think of an "inn" to be. More like a cozy seaside hotel. When you book your room, you get a fairly large bathroom and a kitchen with a large fridge. If you choose to cook, I imagine it would save you money from the food side, but there are so many great restaurants in the area! The place comes with heat as well which you can dial up to your comfort temperature. If you're hot, just turn off the heat and pop open a window! You are about 5 minutes drive from downtown Trinidad and about 30-45 min south of the heart of Redwoods National Park. Avenue of the Giants is about 1.5 hours south of the inn. Again, great place to stay and I highly recommend it. You pay upfront and just drop off your keys on the way out. Love this place and plan to stay here again!

Peggy L.

Yelp
We stayed at the Benbow Inn the night before, and we can honestly say we preferred this motel to the Benbow. Great location close to town. Gracious hosts. We had a great time, and will certainly return. Peggy and Dave

Heather B.

Yelp
We stayed for one night as we made our way down the coast, room 4. Great little inn, room was very quaint and cozy, just what we needed. The shower was super-tiny and the WiFi wasn't very strong. Beautiful, short trail through the redwoods at back of property. We would definitely stay here again. We had pizza from Headie's for dinner-soooo good.

Clare M.

Yelp
I love this place! My boyfriend and I went up the coast for New Years without making any real plans and happened upon Trinidad. It was such a beautiful costal town we decided we wanted to hang around for the rest of our trip. After the first night camping in our car we chose to get a hotel and we got so lucky finding this place. Our room was so beautiful and cozy and the owner and staff were super cool. We ended up ringing in the new year around a campfire with them playing music and enjoying the fresh air of the coastal forest. Seriously could not recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back!

Kean M.

Yelp
I flew from Philadelphia to see the Redwoods, and had no clue where to start. My experience with the Trinidad Inn started with a phone call. They were extremely helpful in giving me an idea of where they were located in relation tot he redwoods(GREAT LOCATION!) and further explained the other things to see in the area(PLENTY!). Upon arriving the place exceeded expectation. Great cozy room. The scenery of the Inn is unforgettable. Awesome little breakfast station is set up in their gazebo. They have their own little trail through the woods to get you warmed up for the hikes to come. Overall great experience! Highly recommended!

Amanda L.

Yelp
Clean, quiet, friendly service. Beautiful place to spend the night. The were 9 of us in total. 4 adults, 5 kids. We stayed in two rooms. The larger room had a kitchen with a gas stove! We will be back for sure! All of the kids wanted to live there! Lol

Mariah P.

Yelp
We won't be staying here again. Over the past couple of years and many trips to Trinidad, various friends of mine have stayed here at different times, so we all decided to stay here when we went out of town for a girls weekend away. The room is serviceable (although the beds we got are doubles and not queens so the rooms don't really sleep the numbers they indicate comfortably). The kitchen is decently appointed. They have clean, simple accommodations. However we had a very bad experience this time... Since we went as a group, we called ahead and spoke with the owner and asked if separate bills would be ok. Not only were we told it was ok, but we were told we could pay upon check-out. At nearly 9pm on the last night of our stay, the owner called our room and demanded that we come to the office and pay right then. When we asked her at the office as to why we had to get out of bed and pay right that second, she said that she "wasn't sure if we'd leave at 6am", implying we'd skip out on the bill. When we suggested it might be somewhat late at night to call and demand payment from a guest, we received a half-hearted apology and another implication that we would have skipped out on our bill. Given that we have friends and family with previous good experience here, we tried to figure out why we had such a poor experience. It should be noted that our group was comprised entirely of women of color. I have no idea if this is why we were treated so poorly, but it is the only difference we could note between us and other people who were treated better. It was a really insulting experience and the owner herself was really downright rude. It was a decent inn to stay at but I'd rather spend my money at a place that has better customer service.

Chris W.

Yelp
This place is lovely! Our room was perfect. Anyone rating this place less than four stars has no right reviewing anything whatsoever. Yeah, I read the one star review of this place and that reviewer CLEARLY has a chip on her shoulder as the owner of this inn was just as lovely as her property. When traveling up (or down for that matter) the coast I'll totally stay here again!

Hyacinth D.

Yelp
Very good stay. We stayed in room 4 which had a good queen bed, full bath (shower only, no tub), and full kitchen. There were some coffee things available for us to use and the shower pressure was excellent. It was nice, clean, and quiet. There's a little trail as well in the back of the property that I took a walk on in the morning. Also, it was just a short drive to the Redwoods and the little town. We had dinner and breakfast in town. We would definitely stay there again!

Shannon M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary last week and stayed in room #0 (Sweetheart room) and LOVED it! We were driving around and hadn't booked anything but stumbled upon this little gem. Nicole checked us in and she was SO friendly that we felt right at home. I think this may be the off season in that area as there were only two other cars there. It looks like a motel from the outside, and nothing too special, but I LOVED THE inside. There was a big bed, heat source came from a wood-burning stove type thing fueled by natural gas (which nicole turned on as soon as we checked in to start warming the room) a big TV with DVD player a COMFY futon/sofa and a cute mini-fridge and microwave and the whole room felt super clean. I felt so happy to stumble upon it. We checked in at night so we woke up to find a cute gazebo, picnic bench, basketball court, and an entrance to a path into the woods that unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore. I would definitely stay here again.

Ed W.

Yelp
Stayed here one night with my wife and many kids last week and booked a suite. The place was sold out so we had a chance to see it in full operation. Very clean rooms, very helpful staff. We were provided 2 (Two!!) cribs for our youngest ones, no additional charge. Beautiful heavily forested property, and for kids there's a treehouse with steps leading up to it, and a basketball hoop (which we didn't use). Murphy's Market is a mile or two away so if you get a suite with a Kitchen it's easy to shop and cook. The family staying next door was able to hear the noise of my son opening/slamming drawers in the kitchen and let us know it was disturbing them (sorry!) so I'm guessing noise may carry between units a bit depending on where you are. Much nicer than one of the big chains. We plan to come back when we can stay longer!

J D.

Yelp
Our stay was nice. The kitchen and bathroom were both dated, but everything was clean and neat. Our room was near the road, but we didn't hear much noise. The location was perfect and the basketball and fire pit were nice for families. I agree that the continental breakfast was lacking, however. I am not sure if someone got up early and took most of the food, but by 8 a.m., there were only two muffins and three cookies left for the rest of the rooms. Luckily the muffins were large and so we only needed one to split between our two kids. I felt guilty taking a cookie for myself. Later, while packing, I saw two families lift the basket top and be disappointed. I think some oversight of breakfast should exist if it is advertised as a part of the stay. Otherwise, you have hungry kids and no breakfast for them. The owner was friendly and helpful. Price point was right for us.

Lizzie N.

Yelp
This Inn is absolutley fabulous! The management is so nice, the rooms are clean and all decorated with a different flare! Share this great find in Redwood Forest with all your friends! They will thank you!

Rory O.

Yelp
Rooms were spacious, bed very comfortable and morning continental breakfast was good. Actually instead of serving it in a stuff office space, they served the CB in a cabana outside. Even if it was raining it was just more refreshing. The ladies who ran the place were absolutely gracious. This is a great center point for staying while visiting spots in the redwoods.

Pam J.

Yelp
Driving through the night and called, they had one room left due to a cancellation. We were so blessed to find this amazing little place in the redwoods! Great little room! Bed was very comfy and room was exceptionally clean! Nice little breakfast under the gazebo. Joanne gave us great information on local restaurants. The Eatery has great clam chowder and the blackberry cobbler was so delicious!! Great place with the surrounding redwoods!! Beautiful!!

T G.

Yelp
We stayed here a few years ago and, given the options, decided to stay again on our way up the coast in April (the "off" season after spring break). We were pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and very clean and seemed to have been enhanced since we were there last with pretty linens on the bed and new-looking blinds. A cleaning product aroma was, when we first entered, a little too strong, but that faded. All in all, a simple, comfortable, quiet place to spend a night.

Mark D.

Yelp
Everything was great. I was here about 15 years ago and it was worth coming back. This stay was just as good. I just wish it was more than just a night. Joane and her husband run the place and they do a great job. They are very accommodating and nice. I would definitely come back again if I ever roll through here again.

Lety C.

Yelp
Beautiful place for the family. Super clean; this place provides movies, fun games, fire place, BBQ grill and a basic breakfast. It's worth it staying here

John B.

Yelp
Stayed here last night with my girlfriend and was real displeased. The price did not meet the value of the room. $140 for one night and no breakfast included is a travesty. All the reviews said a continental breakfast including muffins along with coffee and tea. While we were not promised this, $140 could have included something. We were told our room came with a fire place; the fire place was instead a gas heater and the only hear source. The heater was cute, and you were warm while standing next to it. The bed was nice and the room was clean, however we will not stay here again nor would we recommend this to others.

Carrie C.

Yelp
So happy we chose to stay at the Trinidad Inn while visiting Trinidad last week. The room was roomy, clean, and the full kitchen and recently remodeled bathroom were much appreciated. The morning coffee, tea, fruit, and pastries were a great way to start the day and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Maisie G.

Yelp
We loved this little place! The rooms feel and smell like cabins (not in a bad way), and the owner is extremely nice. She told us all about how to look for agates, and even gave us one to take to the beach to help us look. When we come back up this way, we'll definitely be staying here! Oh--and very reasonably priced for the area.

Tj S.

Yelp
I was a guest of Trinidad Inn on 9-28-17. I had booked a single room, number 9 for one evening. My plans changed and I actually required 2 rooms. The owner was kind enough to offer room 10, I believe which is made up of 2 separate bedrooms, a living room and a nice small but very functional kitchen. She offered it at "off season" rates, and I thank her for that. I was pleasantly surprised as to how spacious the rooms were, one with a queen and the other with two doubles. The room was very clean and just as comfortable as you would want. It had a old feel and charm to it. Again, very clean. The beds were great and the kitchen had every utensil that I required. I made home made chicken soup which we shared with the owner by the outdoor fire pit. She actually set up the fire pit so I only had to strike the flame (which she also provided). We had a great evening and actually spent almost 5 hours sitting by the fire. I'll be sure to stay at the Trinidad Inn the next time I am up in the area. I only wish I had time to walk the trail down to the beach. The redwood trees on the property and along the trail were beautiful.

Yelp
I love the Trinidad Inn. This Inn has a personal touch that you won't get at any other Inn/Hotel. The manager is amazing, they have muffins and hot coffee and tea available every morning in there gazebo! I would recommend the Trinidad Inn to anyone who wants a memorable experience on the beautiful north coast of California.

Yelp
at first, we were very pleased and happy with trinidad inn. the room was super clean, shower was good, towels were better than most, kitchen was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. continental breakfast was very decent with coffee, hot water, muffins/pastries and whole fruit. what really upset me, was not so much when we got up in the morning and had no internet connection. but when we went out for the day, came back and there was still no connection. we walked to the office, the door was locked. we called their number, there was no message machine, just the phone ringing off the hook. really??? a few hours later, someone answered saying she had just got in and just realized her computer was not connected. she said she would look into it. there was no connection that night, nor the next morning. we never heard back from the office on this matter. this is enough to make us look elsewhere when planning future trips.

Yelp
Long road trip, during peak tourist season in Nor Cal when we found the sun in Trinidad. Rapidly began looking for a room, but everything was booked except some very scary motels. (Literally the ones you see in horror movies.) Left message with JoAnne at the Trinidad Inn hoping for an opening. Most places would not call back but she did and boy were we glad! The Inn is nestled just outside of town amid the redwoods. It is clean, spacious and quite. They have 5 acres in back, a trail that allows for walks to secluded beaches, and fire pits for evening gatherings...Smoores!
