Trinity College

We came for my daughter to look at and talk to the school and the athletic department. It's an amazingly beautiful campus. A liberal arts college with an engineering department. Definitely a contender for next year. Quite a way from Colorado. 😃

One of the, if not the most inspiring commencement ceremonies I have ever been to. Very diverse faculty great students. The place is beautiful and it's a wonderful institution. Cheers to the walking under the elms!

The campus is stunning and do not miss the chapel. The trees there are enormous. Lovely campus!

It’s a beautiful campus, it would have been amazing if it was surrounded by walkable streets where people felt comfortable to spend time.

Trinity College has a Beautiful quad and gothic architecture. It also has great dining halls like vietnamese pho! Yummy!

I attended this university and majored in Neuroscience 30 years ago, when the acceptance rate was in the 20th percentile and almost impossible for a young, black woman to be accepted. I graduated and never forgot being "neath the elms of our dear old Trinity."

Trinity College founded by Thomas Church Brownell in 1823 is the second oldest college in Connecticut after Yale University. The college was located on land they had purchased and later sold to the State of CT in 1845, that property is now called Bushnell Park. One of the original college dormitories was located right where the State Capitol Building now stands. Trinity College is a member of The Little Ivy Schools along with Wesylan, Amherst and Williams College in our area. The Trinity campus building architecture is simply beautiful the Main Quard is bounded by the clock tower and Brownell Chapel on the North, the straight run, called the Long Walk made up of dorms and classrooms on the West border of the green this is a grand promenade of the entire lenght of The Main Quard. The Green is distinct as it has no paths through it; the Elm trees on the green are planted in a "T" for Trinity. There is a larger than life bronze statue of Thomas Church Brownell founder of the college and to the rear on either side are two canons from the USS Harford, the flag ship of Rear Admiral David Farragut during the civil war battle of Mobile Bay in New Orleans. There is plenty of history and beauty here as a visit to Trinity College and Brownell Chapel will no doubt confirm!

Took my daughter on the campus tour and information session today. It's actually quite hidden from view when you're driving. You go up a curvy drive and then pop! there's a college there! Our informational session was given by the assistant director and she made it more fun then most. Lively, interactive, good handle on the info. Then we went on the tour. The campus was empty because the students weren't back from summer until the next week. It has that New England traditional look with modern influx. The cathedral is beautiful with ornate carved pews, a full size gigantic organ, stained glass, etc. It's not a religious school so it's for worship only and they try to accommodate all beliefs. They have multiple ways to obtain your degree, tons of internships, real life teaching opportunities and loads of study away locations. I can't name it all. It is a D3 school with around 2,000 students but don't let that fool you. They have a tough athletics showing. My daughter has this school in her top ten for sure!

Very pretty campus. Came here on a trip to visit a friend and realized that everyone here was super nice. Some dorms are kinda crappy but the others are very nice. I love their campus, it's a great place to just relax with friends and have fun.

Whoa hold the phone !!!! Their library is fantastic. It look less then a minute to find the bathroom. They replace the urinal cakes everyday. I was sad when the cakes where blue though. I recommend pink cakes. Best cakes. Maybe ice cream. Also crazy selection, there must of been like 50 books there. I spent the better part of an hour in their foliage very private.
