This is a lovely older hotel right in the heart of Dublin. Stay at this hotel and everything is within walking distance. The staff were all very professional and helpful when we needed to change rooms. The first room we stayed in was way too small for two people so we moved to a larger room and although it was a bit of an extra cost it was perfect. The beds were not comfortable in either room, the mattresses most definitely need an upgrade but otherwise the room had a small coffee maker and a tea pot so that was nice. Our room was on the second floor and getting our luggage upstairs was not easy so I would suggest if you’re not in good shape or have any disabilities or are elderly you request a main floor room. ||Breakfast was the highlight of our stay at the Trinity house for so many reasons. The food was phenomenal (Traditional Irish breakfast was my favourite), but it was the staff that made it such a wonderful experience. Side note : people please tip the staff, even when the breakfast is included in your hotel stay, or if you pay for your breakfast. It was a sin to watch so many people get such great breakfast service from these ladies then just get up and just walk away. If you can afford a hotel stay, then you can afford a small tip. ||We would absolutely stay here again if ever we travel back to Dublin.
