Triple Palms House

To be honest, we had low expectations after booking a 5 night stay at Triple Palms. Even Google Maps says "Unassuming rooms for up to 6 guests in a straightforward Old City B&B". It sounded cheap and cheerful though and actually, as it turned out, was the perfect accommodation for us.||||For starters, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We booked via Hotels.com and the description of the room was not correct. There was no balcony and our Family Room didn't have 2 interconnected rooms, but just one. The staff told us we would've had to book the Deluxe Family Room (which wasn't available on Hotels.com).||||The check-in guy must've seen my face, confused and disappointed, as he came up 5mins later to unlock the door to the other room - for no extra fee! I was so grateful as this gave us two bedrooms and two bathrooms to spread out whilst we were both getting over jetlag the next few days. The beds were huge and had very comfortable mattresses, both bathrooms were spotless and had lovely hot showers.||||Next perk was the cleaning. I loathe places that force you to go through daily cleaning and check up on you if you have the DND sign out to avoid the unneccesary daily change of towels or replacement of half-used shower gel bottles. We always keep our room very clean and the only thing we really needed was for the trash to be collected.||||The policy at Triple Palms is that you actively need to hang out the sign if you want your room to be cleaned!This made for such an enjoyable stay and the cleaners did a fantastic job + were super friendly.||||Location-wise this place is perfect as other reviewers have mentioned. The north-east area in the Old City was a great place and anything a traveller could possibly desire was at our doorstep. We loved the breakfasts at Mild (opposite the hotel), sundowner cocktails & craft beers at Oasis Rooftop Bar, dinner in 18 Cottage or By Hand Pizza and many others. You can't go wrong here.||||On our last day we had to check out at 5am due to a very early flight. We were told to simply leave the keys in the room. I appreciated that trust, considering that they don't take any deposits like the majority of places do in Thailand. The staff organised us airport transfer for THB 350 and the driver was waiting for us at 4:50 with a smile. ||||I can't fault anything and will definitely stay there again next time we're in Chiang Mai (and this time we'll book the right room :))

First of all, the owners are extremely humble and welcoming. Both the gentleman and the lady were very kind, pleasant, and lovely to talk to. The housekeeping lady was super helpful, cooperative, and always ready to assist. The stay was excellent — the room was very clean, well-maintained, and all necessary facilities were available. The location is absolutely perfect. Clubs, markets, and a lively area are all nearby. You can enjoy amazing Thai food and relaxing massages just a short walk away. Vehicle rentals are also easily available nearby, which makes getting around very convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

One reason why this place is rated 4.4 instead of 5.0 ! If you look carefully, all the bad reviews are old. Now, this hotel changed a lot ( I don’t know what changed , but I 100% disagree with all the negative reviews about this hotel ) Here is my honest review stayed there 3 days ; traveled +60 countries so far, so listen to my Review as it is ; Staff - One of the best I’ve ever encountered. They are 2 brother and sister that gives you the treatment like their child or even grandchild. They are +65/+70 years old, which make you feel like you are at home and treated like their son. I love them so much ! They are super sweet, kind and actually do help you whenever you need anything . They have the answer ! The hotel and Rooms - I love the concept of the hotel. Rooms are very spacious, clean and has all the amenities you want. Kitchen in the garden fully equipped for everyone to use freely. Water availability and all the other stuff. I like that you need to take off your shoes before entering to the hotel premises. While in the hotel I felt free walking bare foot in a very clean floor and made me felt comfortable and clean. Location - the best location in Chiang Mai. Easy to access with anything and everything! Including tour guides and everything else .. A 5/5 Stay. Highly recommended

Very convenient location and a quiet gem in a crowded and noisy area. The owner with his sister and maid are very friendly and helpful. Check-in after hour is very smooth. The family room is very decent size for my 6 pax. The maintenance and cleanness is good as well. Only complaint I had was the towel and shower is a bit outdated.

The owner is incredibly nice and so are the staff and the room was quiet, comfortable, and in a great location - easy walk to nice cafes (we especially liked Nice Cafe), Sunday night market, spas, massage (they recommended blind massage on the same road, 180 baht per hour and very good). Area felt safe for walking alone at night. Full service laundry for 60 baht. Owner very kindly included airport pickup and drop-off, all easy and on time.

Great palace to stay in Chiang mai, the rooms ARE spacious and so clean, they have free coffee, tea and fruits during the day, and the owner is so caring and attentive. We loved our staying in the triple palms!

We stayed for one week last month and it was fantastic! Coincidentally we arrived the same day the flower festival was starting and we didn't know about it but it was amazing and so beautiful. If you think to go in February you should definitely check out the dates so you don't miss it. The owner were amazing and super helpful, they gave us tips, help us print our boarding passes and book some daytrips. Laundry service was excellent and super fast. The rooms were great, very spacious and comfortable. Great location inside the the walls, bars, restaurants, massage parole, 771, pharmacies, markets and shops were all walking distance. We had such and amazing stay, couldn't recommend it enough!
