Refined taste without pretentiousness, quality in every bite
I stayed in Essaouira for one month and walked past Triksala most days. I'd always check out their changing daily menu and eventually decided to visit there for our final dinner in Essaouira and it was well worth the wait.
We had the eggplant, calamari, sea bass, and falafel. The eggplant and calamari entrees were both fantastic, with crispy breading and flavourful accompanying sauces. The falafel were definitely the best we've in Morocco and the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. But for me the standout was the incredible date and Almond stuffed sea base, the perfect blend of savoury and sweet made this one incredible dish. even their housemade bread was a delight with th3 Fennel seeds and other spices.
For a very reasonable price considering the quality of food, we received an amazing meal, friendly service, and an eelegant atmosphere with soft touches of home and comfort.
Definitely needs to be on your Essaouira restaurant list
