Lovely place, safe space for queer people, friendly staff, affordable drinks! They have a smoking area, too. Don't go there if you expect anything fancy or posh, that's not the vibe. It's typical for an alternative place in Neukölln.

It is what you’d expect in the area, a dodgy bar with smoking area. The drinks are cheap if you’re on a budget but surprisingly good! Will definitely go back, the staff was really nice.

Initially, a place with a name like Tristeza had a great appeal to me, as the post-rock band of the same name is one that I love. I've been here several times and it's become somewhat of a staple in my night life circuit. Tristeza has it all: cheap drinks, excellent music, interesting people watching, plenty of seating, foosball, great hours, and an anti-racist anti-discriminatory policy to boot. Love it.

Man kommt rein und hört Leute quatschen, man sprühet die gute Laune! Auf jeden Fall entspannte und sehr gemischte Leute aber eher linke Szene. Die Drinks sind schön billig aber trotzdem gut und die Leute hinter der Bar sind sehr sehr nett und humorvoll! Hab mich auch mitten im Raum nicht beobachtet gefühlt. Komme gerne wieder!

My favorite bar in Berlin. Always friendly service, dirt cheap prices, great crowd, gives hipsters a rash. Wonderful little oasis in a neighborhood turning more and more douchebaggy with every season. If you want to see and be seen, go elsewhere. If you want a nice noisy gritty bar with great, non-judgmental people, go to the Tristeza. Be careful not to leave your crap laying around though because it's liable to be nicked. Also not good for non-smokers or those who have personal space issues, especially after 11 pm. It can be quite political though and is kind of a bummer when they have a guest speaker or something. Other than that always top-notch atmosphere.

It's lively, loud, and a bit dingy. It has a non-smoking area, which is rare for this area. You go down the stairs, and it is like walking into a friend's basement where you will find old couches and two new Foosball tables. The beer is cheap. The bar is a bit edgy, definitely on the alternative side. Because of the solid Foosball tables, a very talented crowd can be found there. The skill level is high, but the people are friendly. You can usually get in several games and learn a thing or two along the way. But don't fret, if you come with a bunch of friends, you can get a table and play no problem. The ground floor is nice and not unlike many of the other area bars. If you like "Kicker", it's definitely a place to check out.

I have been here a couple of times, mostly with a massive from BBI which is right next door and so tiny that you will probably never find a seat there. The tristeza people and super nice and chill and will let you consume your massive burger here if you get a drink. The bar itself is pretty big with a left/autonomous vibe. There is still a good mix of people there and they play nice music!! the only thing I am not too fond of is the fact that it's a smoker bar (they have non-smoker area, but it's not really separated from the smoking area, so...). The drinks are pretty cheap here though and they also have strong bow. I think there is also a little "kicker" in the back and they have movie nights focused on a social issue or political topic ( i.e. in january the topic was abortion). all in all a great, low-key place to chill and a great spot to eat BBI if you don't want to eat standing in the cold in the winter.

nette bar, bisschen ernst die leute die da rumsitzen manchmal, aber man hält sich eben an das szenetypische lachverbot. allerdings meistens nette crew hinterm tresen.
