I order from Trithis often on Ubereats because it's one of the rare places that I can find Beef & Broccoli on fried crispy noodles that deliver to where I live in Milton. They also accommodate my request to change to "Canadian" broccoli. 5/5! It's always fresh and a really good portion considering the $20 price. If I was ordering for more than myself, I'd definitely try other items.

We came here on a friend’s recommendation! It’s one of those restaurants that the food reminds you of the food your Mom used to make! It’s good home cook food and very reasonable! Our friend order a bunch of dishes that we can all tried together! We did family style, the green beans with minced pork and olives were really different! At first I thought it really sounded weird to make any Chinese dishes with olives but that dish was pretty tasty and the olives were not overwhelming! If I was in town again, I would definitely come back and try other dishes! The staff were really friendly! The food came really fast too!

Came for dinner on a Thursday night, it was fairly empty. Pig stomach and chicken soup 4/5 it was hearty and warms you up for cold days. Lots of ginger and a lot of meat in there. Also has been curds too. Only thing is that the chicken bones shattered when they chopped it up so there's many small shards of bone, gotta drink soup carefully. Got the 3 dishes combo. Not sure why they charge extra for dining in compared to taking out if we're going to tip while dining in. They said it was a service charge when we asked. They also said this was cash only whereas the soup was not. General Tao chicken and broccoli 4/5 Sweet and sour pork with pineapple 4/5 Beef stir fry noodles 1/5 this one sucked. It came out cold and the noodles would crumble into little pieces when you try to pick them up. It was way overcooked and mushy, barely any beef too I also came here for lunch before, it was way more packed than dinner time. They have a lunch combo special with free drink. We got the shrimp and mushroom e-fu noodles, it was 3/5. Not much taste, not much shrimp or mushrooms, just noodles

I remember that this location was the old Cafe Hollywood from years and years ago. I usually frequent Star Chinese Restaurant and Fancy kitchen for my Cantonese cravings. And I never thought to drop in and try this … no pun intended … lol 😆 I tried the 3 combo for $41.99 (cash only ). I ordered chicken fried rice and rice noodles with beef and black bean sauce a la carte for a $1.00 off the regular menu. The portions are good 👍 and the taste is going as well. The “wok hei” is good but not the best. But I am happy nonetheless. The lemon chicken was breaded nicely and the sauce was more on the sour than the sweet side. The classic minced meat with green beans were expertly crafted. The chicken curry 🍛 was enjoyable. The curry sauce is reminiscent of the HK curry type found at a typical HK cafe restaurant. I ordered take out on this Victoria Day Monday. I will plan to try them again in a sit down service later on. Happy eats everyone 😎

We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and we decided to try it out. We got here a bit early around 4:30pm Saturday and it wasn’t too packed. We ordered the signature sweet ribs and the chicken pot, they are so good! Really feels like family style cooking - not overloaded with salt or MSG. We tried their dessert as well which are equally good. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Cantonese food.

I ordered a combo for 3 for dinner: sweet & sour pork, beef tenderloin in HP sauce and Yeung Chow Fried Rice. The portion of the fried rice was big but the rice was slightly hard and dry. The beef tenderloin was disappointed, the beef was chewy and the portion was small. The sweet and sour pork was the worst for the meal. It looked appetizing, but the pork cubes were tiny and the batter was very heavy and doughy. Overall, it tasted like a "sweet & sour batter". We paid 40+ dollars for the combo but the quality of food was awful. It is likely our last visit to this restaurant.

Their 3-dishes take out combo is the best, we always order. Big portion, wide variety and tasty! Our favourite dishes are stir-fry chicken with some assorted Chinese salty meat, mushroom eggplants/Tou Fu, and curry pork chop. The best and worthy combo takeout in Mississauga. If they could make it less greasy, that will be perfect !

One of the better (few) Chinese restaurants in Mississauga for family style dining. Prices are much more reasonable for some solid quality dishes. They have the usual set menus of multi course meals for a better value. My family decided to order dishes a la carte and to my surprise, we were still given complimentary soup. Service was OK, no thrills but no complaints either.

So glad I "tried" Trithis! Overall, I found the food to be good quality and okay priced. None of the dishes missed the mark. And they really do an excellent job of making their fried dishes crispy. You could hear the crunch. We ordered the set menu with fish maw, Peking duck with the wrap & the duck meat with lettuce, sweet & sour pork, and king oyster mushroom with fish fillets & snow peas. In addition we ordered young chow fried rice & honey olive spareribs. For dessert: mango smoothie tapioca with coconut jelly. The Peking duck set menu for 4 people comes with fish maw soup. Even though it's for 4 people, it was able to fill 7.5 bowls (no seconds). The peking duck had a lot of meat but barely any visible fat which my parents enjoyed a lot. Young chow fried rice was seasoned well because it can often times be bland in many restaurants. Only complaint was that they forgot to put the tapioca in the dessert. But I did see them preparing it (it wasn't premade which was nice). Our table of 7.5 was very happy with our dinner meal! Plenty of seating & it was clean. Servers were nice & attentive.

Got the lobster e-fu noodle combo for 4. There were 2 carb dishes in this set. OK. The seafood fish maw soup was supposed to be for 4 people, but it filled 7 bowls. It was pretty tasty & thick & there was quite a bit of seafood. The Hong Kong style fried rice was decent: not spicy & with some wok flavour. Honey Olive Spare Ribs were great: crispy, umami, sweet & salty. Garlic fresh vegetables & lobster e-fu noodles were decent. They charge for takeout containers (the first place I've found which does this), so bring your own. Service was above average for an Asian place.

Thanks to my brother who doesn't eat home-cooked meals, I have become a regular at Trithis. Over multiple visits, to the point where the staff recognize my family and I, I've tried dishes from the dinner combo, a sizeable amount of the lunch special menu, and some other items like sizzling plates, spare ribs, etc. Trithis is a solid Chinese food option for lunch and dinner. Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality and portion you receive, particularly with the noodle options during lunch. Lunch specials ($11-14) come with a drink and the plate is enough for a very hungry person, shareable (maybe 2 plates for 3 ppl) if you're just peckish. My lunch go to is the black pepper beef chow mein and the black bean fried rice noodle with a hot HK style milk tea. The shrimp e-fu noodle and curry pork rice noodle are also fantastic - a lot of the dishes have great "wok air", vetted by my Chinese mom. The dinner combo ($40/3 dishes + incl daily soup) is cheaper than other comparable stores (even in the same plaza), has good portion, and offers good selection (a mix of vegetarian and protein options), and dishes I've tried so far are top notch - the black pepper beef, sweet/sour pork, and salt/pepper pork. Something I noticed is with the proteins, meat is always lean (which some will really enjoy), breading is never too heavy, and it's always fried to perfection. That said, there are some misses - I've tried a rice-based lunch special and though it's only ~$1 less than the noodle options in the lunch special menu, the portion size is way off. I ordered a salt/pepper pork with rice one time and counted 5 pieces of meat with a small portion of rice. Definitely below par for this restaurant and I left somewhat hungry. As for dinner options, I didn't like the lemon chicken as they separated the sauce from the fried chicken and added some crispy rice wafer decorative things - there wasn't enough sauce so the dish was super dry. Location is solid in East Credit halfway between Square One and Erin Mills and there's free parking in the plaza, though it's a bit harder to find a spot on weekends as there's a lot of traffic at the nearby Btrust supermarket. Sometimes there's a line on weekends but its never a long wait. To my knowledge they take cash only during lunch and cash/debit at dinner.

Located in the BTrust plaza, with lots of parking and food choices. We went there for their weekday lunch specials, price range from $10.50 to $13 and it comes with a drink. Lots of available seating choices. If you are a large group, they have round tables with the lazy Susan (useful). The service is "Chinese style" so don't expect anything nice about it. They are always in a hurry. I ordered the bitter melon with beef and I was disappointed that the quantity of steam rice is larger the the main part. Not enough bitter melon pieces for me. However the black bean sauce was nice. My partner got the mapo tofu with shredded pork and yes, his was a larger portion than mine!! His tofu was soft, had a spice kick to it and he liked it. Also, he commented that the HK milk tea was great. It seems it's a popular place for lunch. I wouldn't mind returning to try another dish that has more substantial food (not the starch part).

It's been a while since I've been to a dine-in restaurant with my family. My parents are regulars here so I know for sure the food is good. We went for lunch on a Tuesday, the last day before the new restrictions kicked in (no more indoor dining for the next three weeks). There were only 2 tables occupied with patrons, so we were seated quite a ways away from them. The lunch specials that we ordered came with hot drinks and between the 4 adults and 2 young kids, we ordered... Curry beef brisket with white rice - this is definitely my favourite. The spices are just right, not too spicy or overpowering, lots of thick meaty chunks of brisket with a few pieces of potato. There's plenty of sauce to lather all over the white rice. Deep fried fish fillet and bitter melon over chow mein - this dish has a nice sauce served over super crunchy chow mein noodles. My 4yo son loves the boneless fish fillet and the noodles were a hit with everyone. The bitter melon isn't for everyone, but my mom and dad enjoyed it. Beef with Chinese broccoli over flat rice noodle - lots of beef slices in this dish and again, the gravy was the star of the dish. It goes perfectly with the rice noodle. Fried rice with olives - I don't like olives, neither does my husband or daughter, yet they both seem to really enjoy this dish. I didn't try it myself so I cannot comment on it. This is also my parents' favourite dish, so if you like olives, go for it! And of course, we still packed away an entire takeout container of food. The waiter/owner is friendly and kind (maybe because my parents are regulars) and especially during these trying times, do support local businesses such as this one! This Yelp page for this restaurant/location has been up for a few years, but I'm pretty sure Trithis has only been in business for about 2 year.

Their curry brisket and beef with bok Choy noodle dishes were good. These are lunch hour dishes that come with hk milk tea. The sweet and sour pork is a do not order. There is no meat and ends up being just fried batter.

Average Chinese food at reasonable prices. The last time I ate there , I was charged 25 cents for a box to take out the leftover. Service and ambiance is what one would expect for a Chinese restaurant.

We've been here several times for large family dinners. The place is clean, the service very quick and friendly. The food is very good, well prepared, generous in portion, and quite reasonably priced. As a minor observation, the decor is....now that I try to remember, not even noticeable. I long for the old time Chinese restaurant decor of the old Chinatown on Dundas behind the Toronto city hall. Places like Kwong Chow, and Sai Woo. Are there still places like that in Toronto and Mississauga?

Trithis has a variety of Chinese dishes and options. During the pandemic, I have been getting their takeout lunch specials. Their lunch specials come with a drink and there is a variety of rice and noodle options. My favourite is the rice noodle with shrimp in egg drop sauce. The shrimps are quite big and cooked well. The portions are generous and this dish has been a consistent one every time I have ordered. I have also enjoyed their braised e-fu noodles and their dinner combos. Their dinner combos give you an option to pick 3 dishes for $33.99 and each additional dish is $11.99. There is an extensive list of Chinese dishes so there is definitely something for everyone. If you are in or near Golden Square, definitely give this restaurant a try!

I am completely shocked at the complete and utter deterioration of Golden Moon. Usually, this place is fully packed because of its food (service has always been poor); I should have therefore known that something was wrong when we called to make reservations on Canada Day and they (very surprisingly) had room! In fact, when we entered, the place was quite empty, a stark contrast to its usual hustle and bustle. The temperature, with humidity, was near 40℃ on Canada Day - imagine my incredulous surprise when I realized it felt almost the exact same temperature indoors as outdoors! It was like they decided to cheap out and save on AC fees. I have never experienced a more uncomfortable dining experience; as I ate, sweat continuously dripped down my back, neck, and forehead. Unbelievable. It was like they were trying to force customers to eat quickly and get out as soon as possible. Indeed, we had not even finished our last dish when a waitress hurried over with dessert, saying, "Oh, it's about time! Have some dessert, you're almost done your meal." She even had the bill with her. I don't understand her rush at all, as the restaurant was still quite empty. Service here had always been poor, but this time it felt hostile and rushed. The food, which has always been the main reason for our return, had deteriorated significantly too. The dishes were much smaller than before - it was almost like they were skimping on both quality and quantity. Their salt and pepper pork chop was nowhere as well executed nor delicious, and the braised beef brisket with radish was an utter disappointment. The brisket wasn't tender, and the flavours lacked depth. The XO oxtail pot was good, but there were few pieces of oxtail. Will NEVER come again for dine-in!!

Family of 7 having early dinner now...with inside dining being phased in. Quick service and very reasonable prices. Time to enjoy!! Delicious. This restaurant reopened the end of November 2019 after renovations and a rebranding of the name from Golden Moon Chinese Restaurant to Trithis Chinese Restaurant. Staff are friendly and courteous. Cash payment is preferred.

Bad service, the owner very rude Always force customers buy some food that she recommended. Not honest, always over charge on you bill. Make sure to check the bill before leaving the restaurant

We came here for lunch and got some lunch specials which came with a drink. We ordered the hot milk tea which was perfect because that day we came was really cold. Food.. was not bad. Idk typical Chinese styled food BUT low rating this time because there was a metal strand of a dish cleaner in one of our dishes. We didn't make a fuss about it but told one of the waitress. She said sorry and the kitchen made us another one free of charge. Whatever I guess, food was still tasty. Shortly after in another dish, my uncle pulled out a strand of LONG hair from his bowl.. lol ew.. we didn't complain cuz I guess we were nice about it. Just.. be careful and look through your bowls as you eat.

Golden Moon is somewhat of an institution here. You get these vibe that it's a big hit with the locals, and it shows. The food is pretty decent, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere else. The lunch specials are amazing value here. You get a massive plate of food and a drink for all under $9/10. Came here with my significant other's family who lives in Mississauga and we ordered three of these lunch specials. Preserved fish fried rice had plenty of wok flavour, as all the dishes had. It was fragrant and toasty. Quite addictive. It tasted as it's on the heavy side of MSG but that seems to be more of the norm for these kind of restaurants. My favourite is the bitter melon fried fish chow mein. It's amazing. Noodles were so crisp and the sauce that blends everything is a black bean sauce. The bitterness of the bittermelon and the black bean cuts the noodles. The melon wasn't soggy and wasn't too bitter. The fish was very good too. Really liked the batter here. Lastly, the beef ho fun was good. The beef tender, veggies were crisp, and goes down really easily. There's a good amount of sauce here. We all ended up getting HK style milk tea here which was included in the specials. This is just cantonese comfort food. It may not be the best, but it sure hits the spot and delivers all the time.

Was introduced to this restaurant through a family friend. Typical HK Cha "Chan tang" kinda place but it didn't disappoint. The prices are a steal for the amount of food you get, but that's typical of all Chinese restaurants like this. They have cheap lunch specials that come with a drink (lemon tea, milk tea or soya milk). I really enjoy the beef ho-fun here but not so much the Cantonese style chow neon (these two dishes are my staples I usually order). The "Ha Moon" vermicelli is good too. Came here with the family last week for dinner and we were all pleasantly surprised. Waiter recommended the set dinners as we were getting indecisive about the single dishes. Set dinner for 4 came with chicken, steamed fish, lobster and bok choy for 51.99 I believe ( was too tired to look at the menu and just let my parents do the ordering). Everything tasted great! I'm MSG sensitive and he starter soup didn't have as much as other restaurants. The lobster wasn't overly salty and even my brother enjoyed it (literally finger licking good). Overall we were very impressed and the parentals even suggested dining there again the very next day! (Rare occurrence). Would come again for sure!

Decent Chinese food. Typically would order 3 dishes and bowls of rice to share with a table of 3. Meals come with a bowl of soup and for dinner if you have a large group, you can get the meal sets starting at $60-70 .

Last Thursday I came to Golden Moon for dinner with my wife. We ordered a three dishes combo from the combo menu. This option lets you select three items from the combo menu and comes with an appetizer soup of the day and a dessert. We ordered the Thousand Island pork chop (it is a fried pork chop with thousand island salad dressing sauce), mix seafood with tofu, and a beef brisket hot pot stew. The food was delicious and came quickly. Golden moon has fairly large plates for their dishes so there is a lot of food to eat. I enjoyed the beef stew and the mix seafood was a great dish to eat with rice on a cold day, so i was a very satisfying meal. I liked the thousand island pork chop but I had previously ordered sweet and source pork chop on a previous visit and I liked the sweet and sour sauce better. I have visited the restaurant a number of times now so I do want to point out that they raised the prices on their combo menu by $1. I believe this happened at the start of the year. Golden Moon continues to be one of our top favorite restaurants In terms of value, food quality and service. 4.5 / 5.0

first time ordering seafood combo for 6 for takeout. to be honest, I wouldn't get angry if they admit they make a mistake(forgot our fried rice) but they insist that we don't get hongkong style fried rice in our combo because inflation. if you ordered this combo while you dine in, is that mean you don't get your carbs? no steamed rice/fried rice in this matter. really? and we pay extra for hongkong style ($5) on our lobster but it taste bad. lobster was chewy af. also we got call back to pay with cash. I have no problem with paying with cash because some of seafood restaurant also do the same thing but the real bummer is receiving my food without carbs and I'm supposely not do anything in the kitchen but I have to cook rice and wait another 30 min while my food getting colder. if you read this so far, I guess I have to review the food taste half steam chicken and jellyfish is an OK (every other restaurant have the same taste and texture) fried fish fillet with salted egg yolk worth to try and tasty honey olive spare ribs were really licking good snow pea sprout with king oyster mushroom not good (the mushroom already wrinkled and chewy means not fresh) hongkong style lobster was the worst failed in taste(not even taste like hongkong style) and texture chewy (don't order this if you don't want to get dissappointed) seafood fish maw soup is not using fish maw but pork skin and it is so different that I dont like the soup at all ( dont get me wrong, I love chicharon/pork skin but not on the soup) mince pork fried rice in hongkong style never there and we don't even get steamed rice be sure when you order seafood combo, what is on your menu and ask them repeat it again if you are not sure. will I ordered from them yes but not the combo which in the end was not a saving ( 2 out of 5 that I will consider to reorder)

We ordered a three dish combo and one bowl of rice to share. The bill including taxes was only around $34. The combo included an appetizer soup and a sweet tofu dessert. Now onto the food, the Hong Kong style shrimp was great! This was deep fried shrimp with crispy white chips (not sure what they are), chopped bell peppers and ground beef (I think it was beef but also could be pork). I also enjoyed the king oyster mushroom with snow pea. This dish was just stir-fried king oyster mushroom and snow pea. There was no soy sauce or oyster sauce taste to it. For our third item, we got the Kung pao chicken, which was too spicy for my taste, and contained some very small chicken bones and chopped ginger that I had to spit out. I've eaten at this restaurant few times, and I can say that their Peking duck was decent. There was more skin than the meat, (apparently that's what authentic Peking duck is like) and the pancakes to wrap the duck along with pieces of cucumber and hoisin sauce were one of the best that I've ever eaten. I've tried their sweet and sour pork dish, which was okay. I didn't think it was any different or special compared to other Asian restaurants that serve sweet and sour pork. Overall, many dishes I've tried were good, but I wouldn't order that Kung pao chicken again, and watch out for chopped ginger in some dishes, because that has a strong taste. Service can be slow and inattentive, and despite English menus, it may be difficult to order any food items if you don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin. You will have to pay cash if you order a combo.

Business name has changed to Trithis which is a play on the words Try This. Still the same people who ran Golden Moon so expect the same good food at decent prices.

Golden Moon is one simple Chinese restaurant that does foods the legit way, at reasonable prices. The hand-shredded chilled chicken and the oxtail stew in a sizzling stone pot are very tasty that I would highly recommend. Brimming with flavor, the oxtail stew is seriously a must-have! I had to order an extra bowl of steamed white rice so that I could pour the broth mixture of the oxtail stew over the rice, which made a delicious hearty meal in itself already!

Craving for fried rice so we came to this place for lunch because the other place we wanted to go was very busy. We ordered Yangzhou fried rice, it was big portion and it actually tasted good.Also we ordered dumplings and salty pepper deep fried chicken from appetizer menu. 6.50 dollars you get 12 dumplings and they are not frozen from supermarket. The chicken was alright. Don't order the curry beef briskets. Does not taste thatgood and not worth the price. So we seceded to have dinner here tonight. For the fried rice lol. We ordered fujian fried rice, it was so tasty as the other fried rice. Also sweet sour pork was amazing too. A little crispy outside and the flavour was just right! Hk style clams was so good as well. It's a bit spicy, with minced pork on top. I like this place now. Food is so good! They serve free soup and dessert at dinner!

If you are looking for some decent Chinese Food try Golden Moon. This was my first time here. We ordered the steamed fish with ginger and onion, which was cooked perfectly. The hand pulled chicken was delicious however slightly on the salty side. The veggie and king oyster mushroom and the clam dish balanced out the the saltiness. Although we ordered the walnut paste dessert, our meal included the house soup and dessert (papaya and snow fungus soup) which was a pleasant surprise. I'd have to admit the house dessert which was better than the walnut paste. The service was nice as it was a super cold day and there were very few other guests having dinner.

I found several rocks in my vegetables in two seperate dishes that resulted in a broken tooth! You clearly don't wash your produce. You should be ashamed!! Yes, you read that right, ROCKS! I AM SO UPSET! YOU GET A ZERO! WE WILL NEVER, EVER EAT HERE AGAIN!

Tonight my family and I have our dinner at Golden Moon for the first time. Parking wasn't an issue, since it is inside a plaza with good number of parking spots. I made a reservation at 7 for 7 people. We arrived on time, and the place was packed. That's a good sign already. To make it simple, we ordered a 8 people special combo (7 dishes and soup) plus a lotus leaf wrapped fried rice. Surprisingly, 6 dishes, soup, and rice were served within 10 mins. The only dish taking a little longer was the steam fish. It made me wonder if most of them were pre-made, or 'well prepared'. In term of the portion, each dish was in good size. In term of the taste, they are pretty decent, especially with its price point. Sweet and sour pork was pretty crispy and yummy. House special shredded with jelly fish & chicken was good too. If I need to pick, Sauteed dry bean curd and tian-mu bamboo with hot chilli was probably what I didn't like. It was a little too spicy for my taste. Service was good, staffs were friendly. Overall, I think it is a decent place for family dinner with great value.

Went there last night for a table of 10. We ordered the combo for 8 and the food was good enough to feed 10, we added a lotus leaf fried rice though. The food was nice and so was the service. Actually, it was better than before as we were allowed to sit in even when only 3 of us showed up (they used to have a policy that they would only give you the table reserved when all of you showed up - in our case, it would be 10 people). The best dish was still the Sweet and Sour Pork.

Large menu with plenty of options, lots of seating, and quick service. Overall, a good place to grab some authentic Chinese food. We tried a variety of their noodles-- beef brisket chow mein, pickled cabbage rice noodles, and silver noodles. We also tried their fried chicken appetizer, which was crispy and salty! My favorite was the chow mein, though all were good.

Back in the days before Yelp the good old fashioned way to find a new restaurant is just follow the crowd and see which place is busy. Well searching for some dim sum in Mississauga near my house I came across this exciting new find but apparently I'm not the only one. They have dim sum from the menu (no cart service) and since I'm not a traditionalist let's try this I say it. The crispy tofu was a hit good and almost gone. The crispy noodle wonton soup with shrimp dumpling was excellent. The pork dumplings only ho hum and the weak link was the fried octopus which was to rubbery and greasy. For only $20 we had enough food for almost four people.... Portions are big. I definitely will be back

Went there for lunch and the server highly recommend their curry chicken rice. Tried it and end up loving it! It's a big portion so I packed the other half. Would come back again and try other dishes

Came here for dinner a couple of times and they were all good experiences! We ordered their dinner combos and everything tasted great especially the Peking duck. It was a good combination of crispy duck skin, a good layer of duck meat and come out hot and fresh. Something that stood out to me was the exceptional level of service we received here. The waitress was able to speak to us in Cantonese, Toi-San (the Chinese dialect that my grandma speaks) and English, I was very impressed! I'd say this restaurant place is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Mississauga!

Wanted to try something different in this plaza for a change. Oh, and Chi's had a lineup out the door at 1pm... Ordered curry beef brisket noodle soup,fried rice noodles and beef, braised tofu with vegetables on rice, and some noodle appetizer that my mom wanted. Service was quick and the food was all good. Definitely coming back!

sweet and sour pork is the best in the world. it can't compare to anywhere else and I've tried many places in the world. Been here for several years now. Must get!!!!!!!!!!!

Alas, the Yelp page for Golden Moon is officially on the website. I have previously visited the restaurant with friends and family. Today, I ventured here during a cold, winter night with an empty stomach and a desire to eat great Chinese food. Equiped with my trusty Android phone (Yelp app downloaded), I was ready to Yelp serious. We were greeted by the waiter and was told we were to wait. After waiting approximatly 5 minutes for a table, we were seated near the windows. Opening the pages of the menu, we quickly decided our dishes to order. Our dishes consisted of: sweet and sour pork, curry chicken, gai-lan with stir fried beef and steamed seafood rice. As the dishes arrived steaming hot, we started devouring in. The sweet and sour pork tasted great, with enough sweetness and a nice crunchy, fried bite in the pork. The curry chicken was flavourful, with sauce of perfect consistency and fresh ingredients. The gai-lan tasted great (surprising since gai lan is not my preference) and a good 'wok hei' taste. The special, steamed seafood rice, tasted great. The rice was flavoured from the seafood and the seafood itself tasted delicious. The food filled my stomach and satisfied my hunger. With great food, requires friendly service. Golden Moon provides consistant yet average service. The wait times for the food was acceptable. The waiters/waitresses were responsive. The decor was nice and consistant. The atmosphere is a great for families. Golden Moon is serves delicious food, at a affordable price. The service is average and the atmosphere is family friendly. Golden Moon deserves 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this restaurant to families seeking great food.

I came here twice recently. On time during dinner it was quite busy, we ordered 4 items, 2 of them came wrong. Once I came for lunch, ordered the lunch special, the noodle dish was cold, so they took it back to make it hotter. It came back smelling burnt but the food was not burnt. They didn't clean the wok which caused the food to absorb a char smell. Sounds like one offs but not very impressed.

You know those typical Chinese restaurants? Where everything this is loud and happening? That is exactly this place but a bit smaller. Really good food actually, I don't know the names of the food I ordered in English or in Chinese either. Usually my mother knows some special menu where she orders great food. Still would highly recommend.

Hands down, the best service, cleanliness, and food quality in southern Ontario (Markham is excluded). They have great fried noodles, fried rice and all classic Cantonese lunch items. There are great milk teas and coffees included in their lunch specials. Classic dessert puddings are available too. Dinners are quite good as well, but the dishes have gotten smaller to avoid raising prices with increasing price of produce/groceries. I really love this place because it is a family run, owned and operated Chinese diner that has been consistently good through the years and has not disappointed me yet. The family is very sweet and still recognized me despite my multiple year hiatus. They accept cash and debit, but bring cash.

Been here a few times over the years, can only comment on their veggie options. My favorite dish there (sorry forgot the name) is a tofu/hot pepper stir fry. Very good. Everyone I have gone with to here liked it - they were nice the staff, and it's always busy so if going with a group plan ahead.

Went here last night for the first time. Our order came so fast. We did not wait for a long time eventhough there were a lot of diners at that time. We ordered the pork hock, beef with mushrooms and the beef brisket in noodle soup - all of them were great tasting food. No complains. Will be back here again.

Service is not that great - even in Asian restaurant standards. Sat down and had no tea or menus for the longest time. They don't take away your empty plates (we had a big table - and ordered lots of food so we were running out of space), and don't refill teapots unless you ask them every time. Food is not good, but not horrible tasting. We ordered a bunch of noodle and rice dishes, but there was very minimal toppings and they tasted very bland. 90% noodles, 5% toppings and 5% oil. Yuck. This might explain why the prices are so low. Would not come here again.

Ordered tofu & beef brisket dish and chicken curry. Delicious and flavourful. Beef was tender and tofu fried at the perfect texture. Chicken curry tasted great and served with a heaping amount of rice.

This restaurant has been around for a few years now and today was my first time here. I came here because my aunt said their walnut paste dessert is really good. We ordered a steamed fish with scallion, ginger, and parsley. The fish was very tasty and quite big me estimate is about a 2lbs fish. The fish was steamed nicely perfectly cooked and no complaints. We ordered a veggie dish which was king mushroom and snow pea shoot stir-fry. Delicious can't bugger this up really, but just slightly bland I found it.Their hand pulled chicken is great but pretty salty, portion is half a chicken. I would suggest eating it with some rice so balance out the salt. For the last dish we ordered a clam dish which was presented very nice, it was played on a mini wok with a little burner keeping it bubbling and hot. This dish was also pretty bland. Finally for dessert we got the walnut paste which is hand ground and very delicious, I would suggest to order this if you decide to try out this restaurant. I give it a 3 star because I found that the flavour seemed to be inconsistent and that I find myself very thirsty right now after eating. The service was good because today there was only 3 tables dining, this could possibly be due to the bad weather we've got over the last couple of days.

Golden Moon is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Mississauga. I originally found out about this place in 2014. My in-laws wanted to give it ago because or their peking duck combo. The peking duck and rainbow chop did not disappoint. I've since tried several of their other dishes such as their half deep fried chicken, beef soy sauce rice noodles, fried pork chops and several of their hot pots. Every dish I've tried is normally fresh and great quality! Service is pretty decent too. If you frequent Asian restaurants , you know not to expect much in terms of service. Golden Moon hasn't been too bad, and their staff are pretty friendly. Another reviewer mentioned the crazy parking lot - and I have to agree. This doesn't really reflect poorly on the restaurant, but seriously this plaza typically attracts the world's worst drivers. If you're looking for HK style Chinese food in Mississauga, this is definitely one of the places to go!

I've come here numerous times already but my latest visit was anything but a dining experience worth returning to. Service here was never the greatest but it seems to have reached an all-time low. Usually, there are older female servers who despite not understanding english well, have basic knowledge regarding customer service and etiquette. However, my latest visit was hosted by a particular younger male server who was extremely pushy and rude. I came here with my parents for Christmas dinner and he kept trying to push us to order specific combos for our large group with fixed meals that we did not want to order. He would not listen to what WE wanted and kept trying to upsell other meals. Also, since my parents do not enjoy nor do they frequently eat out, they wanted me to order for them. This wasn't possible since he kept grabbing the menu out of my hands and addressing my parents on what to order. This occurred PLENTY of times during our visit and is unacceptable for any business. Me being younger does not equate to me being less knowledgeable about the food we are eating. As a paying customer who had expectations for a lovely Christmas dinner with my parents, I am appalled with the disrespect and prejudice towards my age I was regarded with. I will not be returning.

I've been here for lunch several times and the food has always been good. They have decent lunch menus, including a beef brisket soup noodle for less than $5 (insane!). Most lunch menu items average around $7, and come with a drink (HK milk tea, HK coffee, etc). The service is fast and friendly, and the place is clean. The bathrooms are a good size (but no change table for babies). Some of the highlight dishes include an XO chicken stir-fried udon, and their chicken curry. Their staple stir-fried soy sauce beef rice noodles is also a favourite, judging by how many come flying out of the kitchen. I personally like their chicken wings too, but I'll be honest and say I haven't sampled a lot of chicken wings in the Mississauga and Toronto area. Would I come here again? Probably. Especially since I'm here almost every other week with my in-laws. Ah, maternity leave.

Delicious food, lots of Cantonese specials. I particularly like that they package the sauce and toppings for the Cantonese chow mein separately from the noodles. We have ordered from here a few times and the dishes were all great with the exception of the General Tsao chicken (which is not really Chinese anyway soooooo)

Dishonest And Thief!!!!! Went there alone in the lunch time, ordered two dishes, beef noodle and deep fried chicken bites, latter is the worst I've ever got( did not eat after a couple bites)! And Charged me $2.5 dollars extra!!! I couldn't recall the exact price for each dish, but kinda remember the chicken is something like a dollar less and asked the cashier, she said nothing and print me a new bill with a dollar less. After I walk out and check the menu on the window, tuns out I was still got charged extra for $1.5 plus the 15% tip I put down! Not about money but dishonesty, will never go back! Cashier gets to print whatever the price they want for a dish, watch out for ur bill.

I came here for lunch, and I'm super unimpressed. I've came here before and I only rated it a 3. This time it broke my rating to a 2. The food here is not good compared to all the other places you could eat in the area and I will def not go back to eat there again. I ordered noodle soup with brisket and my mother had wonton noodle soup a classic Chinese lunch meal. We were very surprised with what they decided to hand over to us. The service wasn't good. The waiter was upset we didn't order anything else, the soup was extremely bland and watered down and my mother's wontons were obviously reheated from frozen and was still cold inside. Her shrimp in the wonton had a very strange flavor to them AND SHE ONLY GOT TWO. What kind of cheap idea is for wonton soup to only have 2 wontons?? Her dishes were dirty, the plate on the button still had stains and liquid sauce from another use (it was obvious). Both our bowls were chipped heavily. And our cups were sticky. She stopped eatting, and was too afraid to be rude to the waiters about it. I walked out immediately and swore to never go back.
