We came here on a friend’s recommendation! It’s one of those restaurants that the food reminds you of the food your Mom used to make! It’s good home cook food and very reasonable! Our friend order a bunch of dishes that we can all tried together! We did family style, the green beans with minced pork and olives were really different! At first I thought it really sounded weird to make any Chinese dishes with olives but that dish was pretty tasty and the olives were not overwhelming! If I was in town again, I would definitely come back and try other dishes! The staff were really friendly! The food came really fast too!

I remember that this location was the old Cafe Hollywood from years and years ago. I usually frequent Star Chinese Restaurant and Fancy kitchen for my Cantonese cravings. And I never thought to drop in and try this … no pun intended … lol 😆 I tried the 3 combo for $41.99 (cash only ). I ordered chicken fried rice and rice noodles with beef and black bean sauce a la carte for a $1.00 off the regular menu. The portions are good 👍 and the taste is going as well. The “wok hei” is good but not the best. But I am happy nonetheless. The lemon chicken was breaded nicely and the sauce was more on the sour than the sweet side. The classic minced meat with green beans were expertly crafted. The chicken curry 🍛 was enjoyable. The curry sauce is reminiscent of the HK curry type found at a typical HK cafe restaurant. I ordered take out on this Victoria Day Monday. I will plan to try them again in a sit down service later on. Happy eats everyone 😎

It was a memorable day (Tuesday) when some reason wherever I went, it was close. So we decided to try this restaurant. It looks way bigger & nicer inside. The food is brilliantly cooked and presented beautifully. Service is alright. I liked all the dishes ordered, especially pork belly ❤️ it’s quite spacious for family dinner. Recommend!

I ordered a combo for 3 for dinner: sweet & sour pork, beef tenderloin in HP sauce and Yeung Chow Fried Rice. The portion of the fried rice was big but the rice was slightly hard and dry. The beef tenderloin was disappointed, the beef was chewy and the portion was small. The sweet and sour pork was the worst for the meal. It looked appetizing, but the pork cubes were tiny and the batter was very heavy and doughy. Overall, it tasted like a "sweet & sour batter". We paid 40+ dollars for the combo but the quality of food was awful. It is likely our last visit to this restaurant.

Decent chinese restaurant for typical rice and noodle dishes. Lunch combos include drink if you pay cash. Restaurant gets pretty full during weekend lunch hours. Not much parking in the front of this plaza, but there's lots of parking in the back.

We came here for weekend lunch and it was packed with happy customers. They have a family-friendly atmosphere and can accommodate larger groups. We tried soup of the day, and it was nutrient-dense; full of necessary nutrients and vitamins. We ordered “Sweet & Sour Pork with Pineapple”, “Spicy Pepper Salted Shrimp”, “Tenderloin garlic Cube with Maggie Sauce”, “Stir Fried Chicken Udon in XO Sauce”. Our food was tasty and flavorful. I loved noodles and I recommend the Tenderloin Garlic. For dessert, we ordered “Peach Gum in Creamy Walnut Paste” (Hot) and “Creamy Black Sesame Sweet Soup with Coconut with Jelly” (Cold). Both were delicious and we enjoyed our warm dessert. The staff are very friendly. And there’s ample parking spots available in the plaza.

I tried the sweet and sour pork, chow ho, and a salted fish egg dish. All had good flavours, but I thought the chow ho noodles were not cooked as well as I’ve had at previous Cantonese restaurants.

One of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while. Came today with family and relatives for Christmas dinner. The service was great but I believe one of the ladies speaks English lol. The others kept talking to us in Cantonese or Mandarin but we’re Korean haha. It was our first time here and absolutely loved all the dishes. We ordered Spicy Pepper Salted Squid, Spicy Pepper Salted Shrimp, Shrimp fried rice, beef and Chinese broccoli, Seafood crispy noodle with greens, Seafood soup and General Tao’s chicken(ask for spicy version). Forgot to take photos of everything hehe sorry. Food looked so good we all dug in quickly and forgot to take more photos of all dishes mentioned. Spicy pepper salted Squid/Shrimp was my top picks. But realistically all dishes were great. Shrimp fried rice one plate is enough for 4-6 people(not oily which was awesome!). Seafood soup was enough for 8 people and still had some left. Seafood crispy noodles was enough for 8 people. I would say the price is worth the quantity/quality you receive. Dining in is a must try over take out as you obviously get it fresh/crispy and your food won’t get soggy possibly with take out/delivery. Will be ordering from here next time we decide to eat Chinese again. First time getting take out today Sunday March 30, 2025. Ordered one of my favourite dishes Cantonese Crispy Noodle. Paid cash and they give a little discount kept it around $19 and change. The quantity they give seems on par with when you order in. Loved it. Added a photo below for take out.
