We had lunch at Triton based on a recommendation from the restaurant next door, which was unfortunately closed.
We started with an appetizer that was just okay – nothing memorable. For the main course, we ordered pasta with scampi, but what we received was pasta in a plain tomato sauce with only two scampi, placed more as decoration than an actual part of the dish. To make matters worse, one of the scampi was spoiled and released black liquid from its shell, which was very off-putting.
For dessert, we ordered pancakes that arrived cold, which was disappointing.
All in all, I would not recommend this place. It’s not worth the money, and the quality simply doesn’t match the price.
The only positive note was the friendly and polite waiter, who sincerely tried to apologize – but clearly, the problem was not on his end.
