Troia Pension & Camping

Fantastic location if you are visiting Troy, right across the street from the museum. Expensive at 1000TL and no one was around when we got there to ask pricing (didn't see anyone until the next day), especially since there are no showers or dumping stations. Dogs barking all night!!!

Avoid to stay here! Super high overpriced rates for services that not match the payment. Check before you stay all the platforms because for the same room it has different prices! Very poor lunch with only two choices without pricelist so the owner can charge different depending your job and where you come from. The lunch and also breakfast are quantities for little kids. Be careful with this pension and give your money to other local restaurants that offer double quantities of food in half price!!!

Nice spot to camp near a passing road, toilets for all the tourists around and you, and no shower. Overpriced...

The owner is dishonest, he had written by message the night before, even though it was with a foreign number, I wrote in Turkish and gave me the price of 400lt to set up my tent, which is already hugely expensive, when I arrived at the campsite I asked the price without me identify and told me it was 500lt, so there is no right price, he says whatever price he wants, he is not an honest person, he is a greedy swindler!

Very affordable accommodation. You get what you pay for, so don't expect anything luxurious. The rooms are very clean and neat. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The food is a bit expensive, but in my opinion the accommodation is so affordable that I don't mind paying for the food. Plus, it's a family run business and the people make such an effort with you so I like supporting them. The location is excellent if you want to visit the Troy Museum and the Troy Archeological site. Very short walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

The owner has a shop, a bar and he cooks. The facilities are rudimentary, leaky plumbing and a shower which is to be found in the corner of a lumber room. The prices do not compare to the quality. Nothing is too much for him, at a premium! It would have been better to have found accommodation further from a world heritage site.

Uran the owner is a very nice chap. I arrived very late in the evening and he prepped my room that I felt very welcome. Made also suggestions where one can eat late at night. Room was nice with everything what’s needed. Breakfast has been classic turkish. All good. Can recommend highly.

Friendly hosts, simple honest food. The rooms are basic, but clean. The breakfast and dinner were simple, but good.
