Life-changing experience! The ice caves inside the glaciers are absolutely mind-blowing. Having Gaby (Gabrielle) as our guide made it even better—he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel safe the entire time. He was also so warm and friendly, with a genuine love for nature and animals. When we arrived, ravens actually came to greet him, which made the experience feel truly magical. It’s clear this company uses highly trained guides who truly know the ice caves—Gaby is an absolute asset!

Absolutely recommend!! Amazing tour to go up the glacier and our guide Edgar was fantastic! Explaining to us how the glacier gets formed while ensuring our safety! We booked the 3 hr tour and arrived with our own car from Reykjavik which took us 2.5-3 hrs as we were also taking in viewpoints on the way! Still totally worth it! Definitely Iceland‘s highlight! Thanks to Edgar, he was making this excursion extra special for us! Tip, the equipment is great and if you decide to rent boots ect they still keep them at the meeting point van.

Great mix of beautiful sites and Glacier hiking. The driver was super nice and informative. We had just enough time at the 2 waterfalls and black beach. The Glacier hike was the cherry on the top. More breathtaking than I could imagine. Our guide, Sierra had the perfect personality and did a great job of making me feel comfortable that I was able to do it even at 60!

Overall a wonderful experience with troll.is. The staff was wonderful. Polite and smiling, willing to help with anything you need. The equipment they give you is excellent. Our guide, Joao, was amazing. Experienced and knowledgeable on the subject, he took us on a journey through the history of this glacier with humor and a wonderful mood, conveying his knowledge to the fullest. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience 🫶🏼

Really great experience. First time walking on a glacier, and hopefully not the last! Thanks to our fantastic guide Tommaso, who made the experience fun and accessible. We were a small group so we were able to stay longer on the glacier, and Tom showed us many cool places while answering all of our questions. Hot chocolate at the end was really appreciated after this 3hr chilly walk. And all the guides we met from Tröll were friendly and easy-going too. Would absolutely book again with them!

I went on both the ice cave tour and the glacier climbing trip. Both were absolutely amazing experiences. The Tröll guide was highly professional, he has huge knowledge about the glacier and I felt completely safe the whole time. Equipment was well- maintained. after the tour they offer hot coffee/chocolate and sweets :-) I recommend this to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Iceland!
