A lovely one night stay with our 18month old toddler. We had requested a cot and it was all ready in our room when we checked in. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at hotel and enjoyed our meal. The breakfast was good.

I have visited Trolltun twice - once in september 2024 and in June 2025 - and it was in both cases a really good stay. Good food, breakfast, calm and cozy. The ladies running the place are friendly and nice!

We had a good nights sleep here — very quiet. Comfortable bed. We ordered this through booking.com. Make sure your overnight stay gets counted. We visited during the summer and the area is beautiful. The hotel had a wonderful area for children — see my photos. (It might be more lively during the skiing season! ) There was a nice breakfast (they need to invest in steam plates or something to keep the warm breakfast food warm. This is the only drawback I experienced here.) There was a TV in the room. Plenty of parking. Ask for a room on the main floor if you have mobility issues as there is no elevator/lift to the second floor. You can buy snacks at the reseption, a meal in their restraunt and drinks in their bar. Plenty of communal areas to sit in.

The dinner menu was very small, only moose or deer burger in meat, and some fish. The vegetables were hard. Workers started knocking at 0700! For breakfast we had to choose between scrambled eggs, eggs and bacon or a plate of ham and cheese. We chose eggs and bacon, where the bacon was burnt. The staff were nice tho. Never again!

A quiet motel/guesthouse on the edge of the town very close to the ski slopes but convenient for a summer stop over. The dinner menu was limited but freshly cooked and with friendly service. breakfast was also good. |Out of season ski lodges don’t have much atmosphere but the rooms were clean and functional and you can park outside the door! There are no tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms but we could get free tea & coffee downstairs anytime.

It’s a wonderful place worth a stay, clean rooms and friendly staff, and not to mention: gorgeous surroundings. If you need a homey place to stay for the night, this is a place I would highly recommend. We’ve stayed there several times now, it’s our go-to place whenever we’re in the area. I’ll give it five out of five stars any day! :)

Shabby and dated room. Awful decor. No tea/coffee in room, no hairdryer. Broken tiles, mismatched bedlights. Narrow uncomforatble beds, noisy hotel - I could hear above and beside me. Uncomfortable sofabed to sit on - it must be awful to sleep on too. Mumbling receptionist was neither happy or helpful.
