Tromsø Kunstforening (TKF)

Great staff, very kind and informative. The place is a temporary address for the contemporary art museum. I went to see an exhibition about bogs. The exhibition is small but very interesting. Free entrance and many books related to environment and natural sciences.

Super friendly staff. Free entry. Free coffee and tea and a really nice temporary new place while the actual museum is being refurbished. Exhibition on peat could have been better linked to the substantial knowledge at the natural history museum / botanical garden in Tromsø

Visited when they had the analog polar film exhibition. Very powerful and well organized. Chatted for a bit with the lovely lady on the entry. Had a blast and still brought a book home! :) Plus it’s free entry and they have free coffee. Also, they expose and help all different kinds of independent artists and local people. Let’s support these initiatives!

The entry to this is free. When I went, there was an exhibition by products made by the Sami. It was okay. If you have time on your hands you can visit this place, but I wouldn't prioritize it.

They display contemporary arts for free of charge. not too many works exhibited but it is worth visiting.

We went to the place at 1245 hrs after checking the time on google. It was just shut down inspire of showing Open hrs. Wrong information put on the google. And there was no one inside.

A good place to go to if you are looking for art in Tromsø. Nice people might talk to you. Check out Mondo Books for rare books.
