We did the Kuranda scenic railway, Butterfly sanctuary, Aboriginal experience, wildlife sanctuary, Aqua Duck tour and Skyrail gondola ... Tony the tourguide was full of information. The tour was a great day out. Very informative and scenic.

I had an incredible day with Tropic Wings on their Kuranda Grand Tour. Everything was perfectly organised from start to finish – not a single moment wasted, and every detail taken care of. Our driver, Tony, was absolutely fantastic – informative, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. The tour itself was packed with stunning scenery, unique attractions, and a great mix of activities. I can’t recommend it enough – a must-do if you’re in the Cairns area!

Wonderful day with Tropic Wings tour group. Tour included visit to Wildlife habitat in Port Douglas, Daintree River cruise, visit to Daintree rain forest, Cape Tribulation and lunch. Our guide for the day was Adrian and he did a terrific job. Knowledgable and you can see his heart is in it. Finished off with a visit to Daintree Ice Cream Company for exotic fruit ice cream.

Our Kuranda Deluxe tour with Tropic Wings was amazing from start to finish! Customer service over the phone was friendly and supportive, helping to make sure we had everything we needed. Our tour guide Tiarne was absolutely amazing, she kept us informed about what was happening in our day at every step with enthusiasm and humour, we felt assured knowing we wouldn’t miss anything. It was the perfect tour that allowed us some freedom to explore on our own with the convenience of pre-organised activities to make the most of our time.

We had an excellent guide called Dom. He was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. He talked about it in a very interesting way. He took great care for the comfort of all participants. However, I think the tour was too long by at least 2 -3 hours. I would have loved to have stopped in Port Douglas for at least half an hour instead of walking through the rainforest we had already seen at the start of the tour. The meal served at the local bar was very tasty. Also, the ice cream we ate along the way was some of the best I've had in Australia.

We didn't know what to expect, as it was our first time to Australia and we pleasantly surprised when Geoff showed, on time and ready to roll. We were fortunate enough to have Geoff as our personal tour guide for the day. The excitement he has for his homeland is infectious, his knowledge of wildlife, native plants, and sense of adventure made our tour priceless. He went above a beyond to make our experience one to remember and their wasn't a plant he didn't know, or an animal he couldn't tell us about. The private welcome tour at Mossman Gorge, was another special touch that made the day extremely memorable. If you have the chance to request Geoff, do it. Thank you Geoff for provided a such a great experience... We hope you get back to playing your Bass live again soon. Good on ya! John and Kelly

Adrian was an amazing tour guide! The planned itinerary for our day trip through Cairns / Kuranda was honestly a bit lacking, and a bit rushed. But Adrian is an amazing storyteller who clearly loves his home city of Cairns - he told us all about his own history growing up there and the tumult the city has gone through in the past couple years due to the pandemic. I was moved by how he talked about the people and the city with such obvious empathy and I found the history and context that he was able to provide really invaluable. He brings a great energy and attitude to his tours too - his jokes are hilarious! Just wanted to send a thanks to him for making our day more exciting.

I had just moved to Australia and started off my journey from America to "Down Under" with Tropic Wings, trusting them to start off my abroad-experience the right way and they did. Tropic Wings offers charter bus tours of Cairns and surrounding areas, perfect for a bit of tourism in Queensland. But what makes me fall in love with Tropic Wings is not only the great package deals, but the service. The employees are just so friendly! My driver was one of the nicest people I've ever met, was always cheerful, and also had one arm. Yes, that man was driving a bus with one arm. Can you say CHAMPION?
