The first thing you should know about this hotel is that you are not going to be able to leave without wishing you were staying there for a while longer. ||Tropical Attitude is a great place to go and relax. It’s in a beautiful spot, within a small boat ride to Ile aux Cerfs, which is a stunning island, with amazing beaches. ||The hotel is perfect, from daybeds upstairs, for peace and awesome views to enjoying the more upbeat, but still chilled atmosphere around the pool.||The east coast of the island is windy, but the way the hotel is designed, you will only be aware of this as you head back to your room. ||The rooms are light and comfortable, with plenty of space for your clothes and views out to the Indian Ocean. ||I would like to mention the fact that the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. |Sunil, who was in the hotel restaurant, was very attentive. Seevangee was always smiling and laughing and Jasraj also was so polite, he was always apologising for taking our empty plates away. The man who makes the birds of paradise is also very nice. |At the bar, Rohan ( I’m guessing at his name based on the receipt I signed) made amazing Mojitos and Pina coladas. He was extremely efficient and gave service with a smile. There was another barman, who seemed to work mainly in the day, who made a fantastic display of the cocktails of the day! |Nazimah cleaned the room whilst we were at breakfast and we always came back to imaginative designs using our towels.||We were so pleased with this hotel and we would highly recommend it.

This was our first time in Mauritius and we definitely choose the best place to stay for our holiday. The staff were excellent, really friendly and very helpful and went out of thier way to make sure that you were looked after. We stayed in one of the villas, room 102 which was fantastic, spacious with a great patio and pool, especially enjoyed relaxing in the hammock, the whole experience at Tropical Attitude was so nice and relaxing. Deepa who looked after our villa done an exceptional job and each day we looked forward to seeing her latest creation with the towels which was a work of art, she was always polite, friendly and smiling left the room spotless. The free boat trip to Ille aux certs was brilliant and we had a great time on the island and also enjoyed the beach barbecue on the next island to it which the boat skipper took us to and made sure that it was a very pleasant experience. Would love to return to Tropical Attitude, only downside is the flights, as it is a long haul from Glasgow but would be worth it to be pampered again by the exceptional staff at the hotel.

From the minute we stepped into this stunning hotel, we were welcomed and made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. The staff were kind, respectful and helpful. The towel art in the room was a lovely touch, we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary ❤️ the food and restaurant staff were amazing and would always try to accommodate our requirements. Special mention to Vikesh, sheranghi, Rohan and Yohan in the bar, the young lady's in the shop and big shout out to the lady and young lad who ran Taba J most days!! We made good use of the spa, and my husband enjoyed the fishing 🎣 although the beach in front of the hotel isn't very big, there are lovely beaches a short walk away. The pool is lovely and cleaned daily. Very relaxed vibe with varying evening entertainment. Taxis are easily available but are not that cheap, we got a bus into Flaq one day which was really cheap and fun! There is a big shopping mall there and a market which is open on Wednesday and Sunday. The hotel will arrange taxis if required. Staff within the hotel do usually know someone who can do excursions, dont be ripped off with the big names like Tui, etc. Worth asking around especially for the 5 islands trip which we went with Sailesh, find him on FB! We got to feed the monkeys!! They came onto the actual boat, we saw them in their natural environment Absolutely amazing, also went to feed giant tortoises 🐢 at La Vanille. Took a trip to Port Louis but apart from a nice waterfront and some high-end boutique shopping, its just a busy city. Be aware that if you arrive early morning your room may not be ready until late morning.||Free boat over to Ils Aux Surf is definitely a bonus! Stunning beaches over there!! Lots of water sports available over there too! ||You can do boat trips to see the dolphins but boats are not legally allowed to get too close (some of the speedboat and big catamarans do get really close and chase them!! Which is quite distressing to witness!! So be very careful who you choose to take you on these trips! Only go with people who are recommended! Use the boathouse staff as they are respectful of the laws and the wildlife. ||The Mauritian people are wonderful, kind, welcoming, and helpful, we did find it quite windy on the east side of the island and you do notice a difference when you go over to the west! ||We had the best time though and will definitely be returning.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff are amazing and welcome you so warmly and are always smiling and friendly. The food was delicious and the staff in the dining room were also very attentive and friendly. The location is breathtaking. You can walk along the beach for miles and take in all the natural beauty. It was a perfect place to kick back and relax and unwind.

Review: Tropical Attitude Mauritius Tropical Attitude truly deserves 4 stars, not just 3. From the moment we arrived, the direct ocean view from our room took our breath away — and the mountain view was equally mesmerizing, creating the perfect balance of sea and serenity. The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with thoughtful variety that impressed us daily. Evenings came alive with lovely entertainers who added a local, soulful touch to our nights, and the island activities were well-organized and immersive. The hotel’s all-white aesthetic is stunning — clean, modern, and calming — and the entire space was spotless throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their focus on sustainability, which made the experience feel even more meaningful. Every detail, from the service to the setting, was simply superb. A hidden gem that truly deserves more recognition!

Warm welcoming, kind staff. Water and coffee supplies - They are engaged in using 0% plastic but how not providing coffee and sugar in room is related to that. Dinner - Very very very basic, can do much better. However breakfast was good. Excellent cappuccino. Room - very cute and spacious room with ocean view. Worst thing was hard pillow, my wife actually woke up with a severe neck pain and had to go to clinic the next day. Shower towel could be larger and only one face towel provided. No duvet cover, had only a thin duvet. These comments aim to help do much better because it’s a cute hotel with very nice staff. Special thanks to Kamlesh whom we met during breakfast.

Lovely views, staff are friendly and welcoming. However we encountered a few problems whilst staying here. Rooms were not clean and all bedding and towels smelt bad. Ants coming out of the sink and got into my things. Power cuts in the rooms Had to change rooms and cleaning lady just walked into our room one of the mornings, clearly management didn't inform Cleaning staff of the room change. Also cleaning staff bang on your door every morning to do a quick wipe around the room,no bed sheets changing and always forgot to give us towels. Food is honestly bad, partner had stomach issues the entire time. Hotel could do much better if they put more effort in cleanliness and better food.
