Tropical Attitude Hotel

The hotel was nice and cosy, very welcoming. They want to be sustainable, which is very nice. Karen was very sweet and welcoming, she helped us with everything. Because we were on our honeymoon, we received as a gift 30min massage (Nadia was lovely), a nice diner and a bag from Mauritius. The room was nice, tidy and The view from the room is sooo nice, it’a a pleasure to have your coffee with that view of the ocean. Near the hotel, a 5-10 min walk, is a very nice beach. In front of the hotel it’s a little bit more difficult to have a bath, but we had our water shoes and it was ok. Food was really good and fresh. The only minor minus is that after 14:30 you can’t have a lunch in the resort, only shacks. Also, they have the Otentik Experiences and we book a diner at a local. Concita was so much fun, it’s was a lovely experience and she prepared a very good dinner. We highly recommend!!

Our stay at Tropical Attitude Hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent — every meal was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented.||The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. I loved that it wasn’t a typical hotel setup; instead of standard rooms, you have your own small “villa” with a sea view and private sunbeds, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and very private. The atmosphere in the room was calm and relaxing, and everything was spotless.||The cocktails were fantastic — full of flavour and perfectly mixed. A huge plus: the hotel also organised my brother’s wedding, and it turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Every detail was taken care of with so much care and professionalism.||Tropical Attitude is a true gem in Mauritius — I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We were celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary and chose a special adult only holiday in Mauritius. The whole team were wonderful. From Karen who greeted us on arrival, to Kamili who kept our villa spotless and made fabulous towel sculptures. The serving staff and chefs were great. Nothing was too much trouble.|They even organised an anniversary meal where we were served by Sunil and made to feel very special.|Although there is no beach at the hotel, we walked 5 minutes around the corner and there it was. Stunning location. There is no shortage of sunbeds to use but we enjoyed the sun deck with it's fabulous sea view, and the hammock at our villa with the plunge pool. The free trip to the island was fab but you do need to book in advance. Nightly entertainment was very good. Overall we had a very memorable holiday.

An unforgettable stay at Tropical Attitude Hotel! Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff are exceptional – always kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making every guest feel special. They truly go above and beyond, anticipating every wish and taking care of every detail with a smile. The food was delicious and varied every single day. One thing we really appreciated was that during dinner, the chef personally walks around the tables to ask for feedback about the daily menu – such a thoughtful touch to make sure everyone finds the flavors they love. The pool area, shared spaces, and rooms were always clean, tidy, and beautifully maintained, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We also loved that the hotel is very eco-conscious, doing their best to minimize plastic waste and care for the environment. On top of all that, the hotel team did an amazing job organizing my brother’s wedding. Everything was exactly as the couple had dreamed it – beautifully planned, full of heart, and every little detail was executed perfectly. A special thank you to Bénédicte, who did a truly outstanding job making the whole day magical. 💍✨ And we can’t forget to mention the hotel’s adorable dog, who happily walks among the guests and loves a good cuddle — such a sweet touch that made the place feel even warmer and more welcoming. 🐶💛 Overall, Tropical Attitude Hotel is a fantastic place run by people who genuinely love what they do. From the moment we arrived at this lovely hotel to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble.|Despite arriving early the hotel managed to get us into our villa early. The whole team just want you to relax and enjoy your Holliday words we heard a soon as we got to the TUI desk at the airport. Whilst some of the reviews mentioned the food on offer not always being many options we found there was always choices we liked. The sustainability efforts of the hotel did not go unnoticed and we felt the minibar was well managed only getting from the shop what you needed. |The rooms were well looked after and a special shout out to Kamimi for the amazing towel art. A few other team members to mention although everyone was amazing are Seevajee, Jasraj, Karen and Ram. We were at the hotel for Diwali and the hotel took great pride in this celebration which added to our Mauritian experience.

We spent two weeks at the Tropical Attitude hotel, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, the surroundings are beautiful, and the staff really do their utmost to make guests feel at home. Special thanks go to Nazimah, who was responsible for cleaning our room. She always kept the room tidy and her towel art delighted us every day. We stayed in a Couple Seafront Room, which was the perfect choice for us. The balcony offered a magnificent sea view – exactly the kind of view that people come to Mauritius for. It was wonderful to listen to the waves lapping against the shore from the balcony. The sun loungers on the beach offered unobstructed views of the sea, and we could have spent the whole day there. The hotel's rooftop terrace also offered breathtaking views, where it was nice to drink pina coladas in the afternoon. The buffet also deserves a big thank you. Even though we stayed at the hotel for two weeks, we never got bored. There were different dishes on offer every day, and it was clear that a lot of effort had been put into ensuring there was enough variety. The food was well seasoned but not spicy. If you wanted more kick, you could add chili sauce. We would also like to give special praise to the bar staff. They were always cheerful, polite, and made really good drinks. Small talk and good service made the time spent by the pool and in the evening even more enjoyable. Spa Poz: We went there a couple of times and had a wonderful experience. In addition to the peaceful music playing in the background, the experience was crowned by the authentic sounds of nature, the sound of palms swaying in the wind and the singing of birds, which transported us to nirvana. In summary: a beautiful hotel, good food, and above all, absolutely fantastic staff. Tropical Attitude exceeded our expectations, and we would love to come back here again.

We had the most amazing honeymoon at tropical attitude. We stayed for 10 days in villa 105. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Air Mauritius left our luggage in Gatwick so we were without luggage for 31 hours. The hotel kindly called air Mauritius for us to get an update on our bags. ||||Our villa was maintained by Kamini and she did an amazing job. She always chatted to you when she saw you and always checked what things you needed and wanted for the room. And always did amazing towel art! ||||As we could evidence it was our honeymoon by emailing a copy of our marriage certificate, we were left a gift on our bed and treated to a complimentary leg massage. We chose to upgrade this to a full body massage. If you get the chance to go to the spa, I would recommend. It was amazing!||||The cocktails were delicious and all the bar staff were lovely. The food was amazing. Breakfast was similar each day but with lots of variety. Lunch is an à la carte menu. We made our way through quite a few options and none disappointed. The taba-j also did really good food and was very convenient if you’d been out of the hotel during the lunch service. Dinner was the highlight for me. Amazing food with such a good variety each night. One night we paid to have a BBQ. It’s worth the money. You can choose between seafood or meat. We went with meat. It was a really big plate of food with lots of different meats. We also ate at Kot Nou. That was a really lovely experience. Book in if you get the chance.||||We did our excursions through the hotel. They were really good. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The hotel has their own taxi service so the tours we did were reliable and informative. The catamaran tour was brilliant! ||||We had such an amazing time. It was everything we wished for and more. There’s so much to do in Mauritius so we’d love to come back. ||||Thank you again!

Overall, the stay at the hotel was pleasant. The hotel is located right on the beach. The room was clean and serviced daily. Some of the drinks were undrinkable – the alcohol was poor quality. The snack bar could offer a more varied menu – the ones we tried were poor. The food was okay, but breakfast could use a bit more variety. The service was very friendly.
