The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The facilty(facilities) were clean, fresh and turnover service was incredible! Super cute rooms and great locations. Short notice availability was key to our trip. Dont pass up Azul when looking for a place to stay. We will be back. Thank you!!

The rooms are beautifully renovated, combining modern comfort with a light, beachy feel. Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. Location is another big highlight. The resort is just a short walk to the beach, so you’re never far from the famous white sand, and it’s also close to plenty of great restaurants and shops. You can easily enjoy dinner or a drink without needing a car. Overall, Tropical Breeze Resort offers a great balance of comfort, style, and convenience. This is a cute, extremely clean hideaway and about a 2 minute walk to the beach. We stayed there for a 2 day get away and it was perfect. Beach towels and beach chairs provided Ice maker by pool to fill up coolers etc. plenty of loungers by pool. Walking distance to local restaurants. Beach was full of shells and plenty of white sand. Great place for a little get away. Azul on 1105 Point of Rocks is the place to stay.

Excellent property, only issue was the door code. Must enter a # sign after code. Text msg received did not mention this. A sweet cleaning lady helped us get in. Parking spots are very tight. They Don't account for lazy people who don't care how they park, crooked or not centered. Probably very clean and new looking and feel. Loved our stay.

Check in was easy, our cottage was very clean and perfect for our stay. The pool was heated and hot tub hot which was amazing since temps were cooler in Florida. Very close to multiple restaurants and shopping and most important we could see the ocean as soon as we stepped out of the cottage.

Tropical Breeze was great! I have already booked another trip for 60 days from now. Perfect location to walk to the shops and restaurants and to the beach. The main pool/hot tub area was very nice. We used the free beach chairs and stopped by the front desk a few times and whatever worker was in staff was very helpful. The only complaint I could have is our unit 136A was off away from what I would call the main units and after dark we had to walk down the side walkway entrance to our unit with zero lights. Maybe even some ground solar lights would be helpful.

We loved our room and the entire property. Everything felt like the best of relaxed Florida. Though we were certain we’d be happy with our booked room, we were surprised and delighted to have been upgraded to a room with a second door - it looked out at and led to the pool. Each person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We hope to be back!

Very nice, I was very surprised. The room was damp, the floor was cold, and the hot water took its time, but the sheets and pillows and bed were marvelous, as were the thick, plush towels. The pool and hot tub was divine. The staff was fabulous. The location is wonderful. Book. You won't regret it.

We visited the Tropical Breeze Resort 4 times. It's very quiet at night and peaceful. The location is perfect. Rooms are all super cute and nautical themes. Everything you need is in the room. You can cook on the stove and grill outside under the palm trees Rooms are always clean and tidy. Crescent Beach is a two minute walk from all the rooms. It is so beautiful you will not want to leave the area. There are plenty of cute shops and nice dining restaurants and also breakfast. Danny at the resort is excellent and very attentive to guests. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this piece of paradise right here in the USA

Review based on Value, commensurate with price and ignore the crappy reviews!! Wow I loved this place and I'm kinda snobby and picky and a clean weirdo that gets easily grossed out! I was kinda worried that it was good in pics and when u get there it's crappy BC it's VERY Affordable ...Here's goes When I walked into my room at Midnight mind u!! (I called ahead and they made the check in process super easy) I was overwhelmed by how nice clean and tidy everything was! Bed and Pillows were great and it really had all I would need especially if I were starting a week like I wish I could... I was staying only one night but I liked it so much. I rearranged my schedule and decided to stay an extra night and it turned out to be much cheaper paying on site also. The only complaint I would have about the room and the accoutrements would be the blow dryer. That thing had not been cleaned and was kind of burnt and crusty lol, I had to wipe it down before I used it. But literally, everything else was spotless and wonderful. I really liked how the room had the bunkbeds that was a surprise like you could easily have four people in that room and be just fine. I couldn't imagine 4 people splitting a room. How economical would that be? I checked out a bike and was taken with how you could ride a bike on the beach cause the sand is white and fluffy but it's also very compressed near the water and I rode from the top of the beach all the way down to Crescent beach and then rode to turtle Beach which is absolutely gorgeous by the way!! On the way home I did not realize how far I had gone and it was a long way back, but also very pleasant because it was able to sightsee all the beautiful homes along the way. One thing I discovered since I rode my bike on the entire damn key That the location of the tropical breeze resort is ideal for someone like me. It's close to everything things that I want to do and it seems like down in the middle of the key. It's really crowded and congested and that's where all the big resorts and condos are and there was a lot of traffic. I didn't like that part of it at all. That being said I would highly highly recommend this resort. And a sidenote is the staff is wonderful. The grounds are impeccable. I wish I had time to go hang out at the pool and the Jacuzzi but this was not just a vacation. I also had to work a little I will be recommending this to friends and family and would definitely stay here again.

Nice resort but was disappointed they did not clean my room. I don't know what protocol they are following but it is unacceptable, especially when they are charging a "resort fee". I had to ask for clean towels too.

Looking for a quaint beach bungalow Key West type this is it. Far exceeded our expectations, Not expecting much, but we really surprised and enjoyed it! and it was cute, immaculate, fully stocked with quality kitchen equipment, furniture, bedding, comfy, first quality bath with every amenity! So pleased! Rm 107. Easy check in, 2 min walk to everything downtown, quality affordable delicious restaurants right next door !

Great spot in Siesta Key. This place is prime location! Everything is within walking distance! It's almost as if you are staying at a resort where restaurants are on location as they are so close. Grocery store, coffee & many shops right there was well. A rental car is absolutely NOT needed. One of my favorite things about this place is that they provided really nice beach chairs with straps and a build In mini cooler to make going to the beach very easy! The property is not directly on the beach, however, a very short easy walk. The beach here is beautiful! The rooms were very clean and all of the staff was friendly. The kitchen of our rental was pretty equip & made cooking breakfast easy. They have laundry onsite for a small fee, so bring some quarters if you'd like to wash anything. I always love to do laundry on the last day to come home to a clean suitcase of clothes. The pools are decent & also provide bikes if you'd like to go for a spin. I'd stay here again next time we visit the area!

Our room was absolutely the best! So quiet and close to 2 beach access points. Close distance to restaurants and bars. Siesta Key overall was not so great. Too touristy. I know I am a tourist but I like the feel of a small quaint beach town. This felt like SoCal.

I've gone through Maureen and hotels.com not feeling safe with hurricane ETA coming right towards siesta key and she will not refund us. I'm so disgusted by the lack of customer service and the way she treated my mom. Screenshot of the storm taken 15 min ago. I can't control the weather so shouldn't hold it against a customer who Doesn't want to have their car flooded when you are a block off the beach.

Nice Resort very expensive for what you get. Main complaint is BAD management. Read ALL reviews to get a good understanding of what I am warning you about. Of course all businesses' like you to read the five star reviews like this one, but in more cases, than not, the majority of reviews are negative as in this case. Make sure you read about the policies, basically no refunds EVER. It could also do with some up dating and again new management, most important. To be honest it could be a lot better, great location., nice pool. The owners of this property should adhere to what I'm saying , OH well. I know , I stayed there will not again, EVER!!! Paul B.

I absolutely loved this place! The scenery from the vibrant florida key colors to the decor! My room had a king size bed and a full kitchen with living room, the bathrooms were a great size! This resort includes a bike to get around and a parking space. They also accommodated me with same day availability (meanwhile most hotels and resorts were booked solid) I checked in an hour later, perfect! I couldn't get over how adorable this place was and it was a quick walk away from the beaches. My only regret is not staying an extra night, a bit pricy but the location and time of year they fully accommodated me last minute and this was really top notch from the quaint town, restaurants, to the shops and everything was in walking distance. I full enjoyed my time here

Great location...chose to stay here based on 3 previous stays which were wonderful. Unfortunately Tropical Breeze has gone significantly downhill in terms of housekeeping and maintenance. The bathroom...tub so dirty. Wouldn't be able to bathe a child in it without scrubbing it first. Bathtub faucet hanging on by a thread. Floor full of sand and hair...very gross. Hole in the drywall. Peeling paint on the door and vanity. Mold growing around the ceiling air vent. Toothpaste "remnants" all over the mirror frame. And this was just ONE room. We will be staying elsewhere on our next visit.

Arrived Saturday at 8 pm. Booked a room for the week which was a suite. Upon arrival with a 3 year old and 6 month pregnant wife was told they booked it wrong. Told me they would refund my money leaving me stranded on a holiday week with my family or take what they had available. Wound up taking what I can get to have them tell me to leave because I asked for my sheets to be changed because it was 3 days and never changed.

We stayed at Tropical Breeze last night to get some rest from the clean up of Hurricane Ian Unfortunately from 9:30 to 3:00 am there was a party going on the floor above us. And the old wood floors were not blocking anything out . It literally sounded like the large group was in our room . We ended up calling office once then finally found another # at 2:30 am to complain. Went in office this morning and there was no one w authority to help and front desk was not helpful at all . Stay at own risk apparently you can't stay here to get rest SB

Andy Pelossantos told me he had talked to his general manager Joey Kerns joey@sklrp.com about the situation with my wife and I at check in. I would like to add more clarity before I take further action. On Sunday, January 3, ,2021 at 1344 my wife received a text from your hotel advising us of the changes do to the COVID-19 restriction. Placing this in context, it begs the question, "Why wasn't this done in March 2020"? We would have never accepted those changes by your hotel and would have cancelled our reservations, as we did with four other trips planned in 2020. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1517 my wife and I check in. I met with the same young lady I had on the phone. After questioning her about the changes, we were advised of the following: 1. Our place would not be cleaned by housekeeping for the two weeks we were there 2. If we wanted sheets changed, we would have to leave the stuff outside and they would replace them 3. If we wanted garbage taken out, we would need to handle it and place it outside 4. If we wanted the bathrooms cleaned, we would have to do it ourselves and you would not supply us with the products. 5. If we wanted out room swept, we would have to do it ourselves. This had to be the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced in my 40 years of traveling. I understand COVID-19 and have been traveling around the country every week since March 2020 and have never experienced this non-cleanliness of a hotel for that extended period of time. Andy finally chimed in and said he would be able to clean our room every 3 days or so. Just knowing that our room was in this type of condition for every client that preceded us, grossed my wife out. My wife and I discussed the situation after a 20-hour drive from New Jersey, we decided to stay until Saturday and cut our vacation one week short and head back home. When I found out from Andy that you said we would be charged for the whole two weeks, I was stunned. I received the standard generic e-mail you sent me without the specific information I requested. In the spirit of the new year, I will allow you to review my side of the story and see if this changes your mind. If you do not answer me by Monday, January 11, 2021 1700, I will be forced to report you to the appropriate authorities below.

My experience with this place wasn't pleasant. The sofa bed I slept on was a nightmare pulled out and pushed in. The parking arrangement was a joke. I strongly suggest numbered and assigned parking. If people have guests visiting them then they don't need to park in the spot my folks normally park in. If you do stay here with guests who have to take the sofa bed bring sleeping bags! The floor looks more cozier than that nightmare of a bed. If you do decide to sleep on the sofa bed bring extra strength pain meds. I myself will be resting happily on a REAL bed! The Wifi service is a joke. 2 days in and we got cut off the Wifi. Plus the tv I used didn't let me turn on closed captioning and I'm hearing impaired. Thank god I downloaded my shows from my Amazon account for backup before I arrived to here. This place deserves 2 stars...

This is the place to stay in Siesta Key. Great location, 2 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from all the action. VERY clean, nice people, great rooms with amenities. Look no further, this is the place to stay.

What a wonderful place to stay at Tropical Breeze in Siesta Key! First off let me say I was somewhat worried after reading a few negative reviews about the office staff. I want to say they were over the top accommodating for us. The woman checking us in was so nice she gave us 4 beach chairs vs the 2 that were promised. Also, anytime I would ask for something they would always help me figure out a way to make it work. I wanted to use the laundry facility and knew they provided quarters but office was closing at 9 and we were going to be at dinner later. The same nice lady put $10 of quarters in the front mailbox for us to pick up so we didn't have to drive around Siesta trying to find quarters. We only used the cleaning service once during our week stay and she did a really good job cleaning for us and extremely pleasant sweet lady. The unit was super cute and exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen was awesome to stock up on breakfast and lunch foods. And then we would eat out for dinner at night at the many restaurants within walking distance from our unit. The location couldn't get any better as we were just minutes of walking to the beach and also the area with all of the shops, grocery and restaurants. The unit was located on a road leading to the beach that has hardly any traffic. Lovely heated pool with a tiki hut behind it and even an outdoor tv in the hut with cooking grills. Bike rentals so handy to go right across the street to the food market (love this market) as some of the bikes have baskets to carry your groceries. Thank you so much Tropical Breeze and your amazing staff for a much needed relaxing and safe trip!

Really enjoyed staying at this resort. We rented the two bedroom option with a kitchen. It was very spacious and had the essential kitchen items. It is in easy walking distance to the village and the beach access points. We never needed to go into our car which was nice. The pool was very clean and had nice seating. The main downside is that several times we went to exchange our beach towels and they were usually out of fresh ones or hesitant to give us new ones. It didn't matter what time of day, it seems they need to buy more beach towels for guest to use. If you ask for things for your room you put them in a bag outside of your door. We did this and did not get new bath towels until close to 5pm. I would stay there again. It is also pet friendly if you wanted to bring your pet!

We made a reservation to stay Fri May 8- Sat 10. On Wednesday May 6, my wife called to see if we could have an early check in. She was told that it shouldn't be a problem, as no one had booked the room the night before. So as long as no one checked in, a 12 o'clock check in would be accommodated. Our mistake was not calling before we drove an hour and a half. We have a new born, a 2 year old and a 9 year old so having access to a room is pretty important. When we arrived the front desk told us very rudely that check-in was at 4. And we went over with her the conversation we had on Wednesday. We asked to speak to the manager and he stated that someone had just checked out but he would go to housekeeping and ask them to clean our room so that we could get in quickly with the kids. We were a little frustrated but understood that we should have called before to check on the status. So we went to the grocery store and had lunch. When we got back to the hotel at 230, the room still was not ready. The manager and the rude front desk girl told us that the room was left very dirty but housekeeping was in the room now cleaning and it wouldn't be long. Our friend was also coming to the hotel and they arrived at 230 and checked right in to the room next door. So we went to their room so that the kids could change and get in the pool while we waited for our room. We unloaded some of our things and set them outside our room so that we could get our suitcase out. There was no one in our room cleaning it so we thought that it was finished cleaning. We saw housekeeping 2 doors down and I asked if they had finished so that we could go to the front desk and check in. I was told by housekeeping that they hadn't even started cleaning the room. As this point we are very angry. My wife and I went back to the front desk and were immediately given attitude by the front desk girl. Which escalated the situation. We were very upset that they lied to us about the room being cleaned and now the manager is telling us that the sofa was broken so they were working on fixing that. Still no one is in our room cleaning and it's almost 330. The front desk girl is very rude and we are getting upset so I tell my wife let's just go sit by the pool and wait for them to finish. As we are walking out my wife states that will give her time to write a review. The manager comes running out of the office and states that they don't take threats lightly. He said that saying we were writing a review is a threat. So we get to the pool and my wife and I are talking to our friend and another couple overheard us talking and they said the same thing happened to them. They were told they could check in early and got there at 12 and their room wasn't ready until after 4!!!! I get a phone call while we are at the pool from the managers boss and he told us that they were cancelling our reservation because, in his exact words my wife "called the front desk associate a bad name". And I said what bad name are you referring to because my wife never called anyone a name. And he said "the b-word". He at first didn't even want to listen and hear my side of the story. My wife never called anyone a "bad name". This was yet again another lie from the front desk clerk and the manager!!! So as we were leaving and gathering our things from outside our original room, we noticed that all of our groceries are missing. So I knock on the door and housekeeping had taken all of our groceries and our sons Kindle. She said that she thought the last guests had left them but the rest of our belongings weren't touched. Too bad I didn't notice that our new bottles of Vodka and Gin weren't in the bags that I recovered... Luckily we found a room at another hotel in the area that was very accommodating and much more friendly than this place.

Where do I begin.... horrible from the time we checked in. I called a couple days to request we get an earlier check in because we have a toddler who needed a nap. Check In is at 4pm and of course our room was not ready when we got there around 2:30pm, we witnessed 10 (yes, 10) couples get their room before us. We couldn't get into our room till after 4pm, and when we showed up to get the key, the front desk admin (Chloe) was so rude to us. My list of cons are endless but I'll try to keep this short. - AC is controlled by the front desk and the lowest it will go is 72. But with the heat it barely reaches under 74. Very uncomfortable for a vacation - Beds are very uncomfortable - Staff is bitchy, very robotic in their responses but in a very sarcastic way - cleaning service does not come every day. Leaving sand on the floor and in the showers constantly - no dishwasher soap to run dishwasher so they asked us to leave dishes in the dishwasher but the cleaning lady came every other day so the dishes piled up - they don't give you enough towels - beach towels and beach chairs are hoarded by the staff. You must inconvenience yourself and get them from the staff. Must trade out the used towels for new ones - our code to our house stopped worked forcing us to leave our place unlocked. They couldn't fix it after 4 different calls and gave us a key a day later - check out - you basically have to beg for a late checkout. Normal checkout is 10am but we had to request the manager call us to get an 11am checkout Overall I would avoid this place. Save yourself the grief of dealing with incompetent staff. They truly don't care about you after you have given them your money.

Great location!!! Our unit was about a block from the beach and 2 blocks to the village. Since this was our first visit to Siesta Key, we actually visited most of the beaches around the area, and the one closest to our room was the best. The unit itself looked to be recently remodeled, everything had a new look/feel to it. It was a 1 bedroom unit with a pullout couch, a full kitchen with all of dishes/utensils that you'd need, and a small eating area in the kitchen as well. Since we went out for all of our meals, we didn't use the kitchen at all except for refrigerator, but still liked having it there. The only problem we had during our stay is the A/C went off one day. The condensation collector tray under the A/C filled up and shut itself off. My first thought was, why wouldn't they install an A/C unit that drained itself. My second thought was why do I even know these things. Regardless, called the front desk and they had it working again quickly. When we visit Siesta Key again, we will definitely stay at the Tropical Breeze again.

This is the place to stay when on Siesta Key! My boyfriend and I stayed in a one bedroom suite called the Tailing Redfish. The room was very clean and spacious, and it came with a full kitchen and sitting area separate from the bedroom. The bed was comfy and she sheets were nice. The hotel has two pools, we only visited one but it was great! There was plenty of chairs and a hot tub too! The hotel also provided 2 beach chairs and 2 bike rentals for free! You can't beat that! The location is perfect, about a 3 minutes walk to the beach and walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location; a block from the beach and a block from the Village restaurants. The property and room was very clean. The pool was great too. They provide 2 bikes, 2 beach chairs & 2 beach towels--which is great. They stick to the check-in and check-out times so plan accordingly.

Pros- great location to beach and main strip, free beach chairs. Cons- no toilet paper and room dirty upon arrival (previous tenants hair all over sink and shower),sent someone out to "re clean" and all they did was a crap job of wiping sink down, still hair all over tub and floor. Also a broken coffee pot and staff lacks sense of urgency. It really was a disappointing experience especially since it was recommended highly from a friend. Considering the price, I would not recommend to others after all that went wrong. Probably better off renting an Air BnB for less.

Moldy vents caused a horrible reaction and ruined our vacation. Couldn't stay through the end of our trip and had to book a room somewhere else. No refund option even though we had to checkout early. Buyer beware!

We liked it so much that we came back three weeks later. I'm updating this review because your experience will vary depending on what room you get. While we enjoyed room 151 so much this weekend we have been shoveled info room 103. A room barely big enough for two people to be in and yet they put a family of 4 in this room. Our kids are adult size and this is the most uncomfortable stay I've had anywhere in a long time. The room is smaller than most hotel rooms and then to add insult to injury they have put a kitchen with full size appliances in the room as well. There is BARELY enough room to walk past the bed at the foot to get to the bathroom (the full size bed in the "master"). We had to put chairs outside to open the sofabed and once it's open the room is so full that you can't even walk in there. I asked for a new room. I was offered a two bedroom upstairs for a significant extra fee. No thank you. I paid a decent dollar for this room. In fact the same price I paid for the last room that was three times the size of this. Very disappointed. Thankfully the location of the resort is the same no matter what room you are in but your stay here will vary greatly depending on if they stick you in a closet or an actual room. Room 103 should not even allow more than two people....legally. Now back to my first review. Our first visit was amazing. I'd love to experience this again. Nice room. Prime location. Room was clean, staff was friendly for the most part. We were allowed to check in early since our room was ready. We had a large one bedroom. Nice king size bed with decent bedding and quality mattress. I appreciated not getting back pain from the stay. There is a nice dining set and a full kitchen ( full size appliances). Living room with two sofas and a chair. Cute design. Simple and was a clean room. Things you should know ahead of time. You Get trash and towel service daily. If you want a daily maid you might want to ask for extra services. We found this plenty for our stay. There are pets allowed and we saw a lot of them. This did not bother is since we are animal lovers. We didn't realize it was so pet friendly and would have brought our baby also!! However if you don't like dogs maybe not a great place for you. The beach here. Perfection. The location here is perfection. Less than two blocks from the beach or the village. We are planning multiple trips back. I wish I could give them 4 1/2 stars. It was a nice stay.

Tropical breeze resort is adorable,little cottages surrounded by palm trees and bamboo. The rooms are really cool and super clean, the staff is very helpful too.The proximity to the beach and the village is perfect, all within walking distance.there are several choice for dining and nightlife. The beaches in Siesta Key are Probably the prettiest I have ever seen. We love it here and hope to visit again soon

We arrived early as we had a drive and when we went in to check in we were told to check back in a hour. Needless to say room wasn't ready, and staff was not friendly at all. Finally room was ready and A/C didn't work. So I go back to front desk and let them know we would like another room and out from the back room must of been a manager says that's why we don't let anyone check in early. Still I guess you didn't check the room it was over 80'. Room was updated, but bathroom was not. Bedroom door you couldn't close it and it wouldn't stay open and they know about it because there was a little vase to hold door open. For the money we paid over $800 a night for a bedroom, living room, kitchen and had an open couch it was definitely not worth the money! Also the pictures of what I thought we were booking is not what we got. I was suppose to have a porch and I had a two chairs and little table that barely fit. I guess we paid for the attitudes at the front desk. We looked around there's nicer places. I hope the owner reads these reviews because this was the first time and last time we stay at this place. Not worth $$$ at all.

Once again, the staff at Tropical Breeze has gone over and above for one of our brides, who experienced a TRAGIC event on the day of her wedding. We really enjoyed our short stay at Tropical Breeze. The location is amazing (even though not directly on the beach), it's a very short walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay here.

While the location of the hotel itself was indeed wonderful, other things were not. First issue, although minor, was the fact that all 3 nights during our stay there was no WI-FI. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of this amenity. So this was a big let down. Second issue was a major one. Before laying down to go to sleep on our first night, I notice something dark underneath the night stand. When I take a closer look, it was feces. DOG FECES. It was the most disgusting thing I could ever imagine to find. It is gross for anyone really, but more so for me because my son gets into everything and he could have very easily put this into his mouth. I called the front desk right away and the young lady who answered was not apologetic in the least. She said "well we are a pet friendly hotel; housekeeping is not in at this time but I will send someone from maintenance." Its as if finding dog feces in a hotel room was not a big deal to her. I mean really?! She CLEARLY did not care about the dog feces found in our room. Maintenance did show up later, but by that time we had already cleaned up the feces because we could not risk our son getting a hold of it. The next day housekeeping cleaned the room, but again, we had already cleaned it ourselves. No-one offered to switch us to another room -- at the very least. I've never seen such poor customer service in my life. GROSS. GROSS. GROSS.

Stayed at this resort with my family for 4 days, after doing lots of research on options. I'll start with the positives... the resort is literally one block away from the beach, and the beach is beautiful. Crystalline waters, white sand (that never gets hot) and an endless / uncrowded beach (during our stay). We were told that we were there during low-season, and the resort seemed relatively empty (or maybe everyone left after a one-nighter in "dilapidation inn"). The resort was definitely NOT what we were expecting. No way this is luxury accommodations, just luxury pricing. The rooms we had (102 and 129D) while remodeled (and cheaply), were EXTREMELY run down, and NOT worth the price. Beware: no closet space, (OK if you're planning to wear bathing suits only)... the showers were full of sand from a previous guest upon our arrival, (yuck), and if you want a cold shower, well, you're in the right place - or you may get scalded (we had both experiences). We had to call repeatedly for towel service, pick up our own coffee packs and housekeeping was definitely sub-par or on vacation (probably at another resort). We found ourselves sweeping sand, swatting flies and reminding the office to PLEASE send towels, more times than I care to remember. PS - the flies are well-fed and resilient. The staff was polite, somewhat robotic in their response, and for the most part, "yessed" us a lot, but didn't seem highly proactive, nor engaged in solving any issues. Bike rentals - so red flag here, the bikes are not free for the entire stay; you get two hours per day and I didn't see that any where on their website / resort info, etc. Additionally, the bikes look like they have been through WWII, rusted, some wheels deflated and no up-keep at all. You'll need a tetanus shot after use. Drive at your own risk. Check out - we were under the impression that check out was at 11am, this was posted on the refrigerator in one of the rooms, but it said 10am on our receipt - so was this subject to room??? I don't think so. At 10am on the departure date, we were locked out of our room, as we were trying to get in and out loading our car to go home - door stopper was my mom... well, that explains the giant flies... ugh!!!! Hidden charges - insurance when booking. I noticed an insurance (for cancellation protection) on one of my bookings; I never requested this insurance, nor needed it, as cancellation was never an option for us. Net, net, an extra $70 was billed to my reservation, and I immediately contacted the resort (when I realized) this "hidden charge" to dispute it. The manager, Billy Prater said it could not be refunded... no real reason, just a matter of fact response, given by Tishwanna, not even directly. I decided to not fight it, as it was not worth it... and the fly-swatting had already exhausted me somewhat... but be vigilant of these scam insurance costs when booking... sneaky tactics, and we had two rooms... POOR way to run a business and a sure-fire way to avoid repeat customers. I don't appreciate being taken advantage of, and a $70 credit for an $1800+ stay would have been business-savvy, no??? I'm hoping there's a biz manager in their future. SO... Siesta Key - YES!!!! Beautiful and the SK Village is fun, great places to eat, (Blasé Cafe (CHEEZE is great), and Alex at the Wine Bar was also "special")! But, Tropical Breeze Resort - NOOOOO!!!!! Research the Midnight Cove, or Casa Blanca - we heard later that these are by far better, cheaper and CLEAN! Next time we'll stay somewhere else... no doubt it will be cheaper, more relaxing and better managed!

Siesta Key was the choice for vacation this year and after doing my research on places to stay this is what we ended up going with. The Yelp reviews were a little deceiving considering that a lot of them are older and the newer ones just didn't really make much sense. After looking through booking websites, we booked our trip through the Tropical Breeze Resorts website as that is where we found the best advertised price. Check-In time was 4:00 and we got there around 3:00 to see if the room is ready. It wasn't so we walked around Siesta Key Village and scoped out some places to eat. The great thing about this "resort" is that every restaurant/bar/ice cream shop, you name it, is within a very short walking distance. Aaron Rogers could stand in front of the main office and throw a football to the middle of the village, it's that close. Once we were able to check in we got our code from the lady at the front desk who was very helpful and friendly. Our room didn't require a room key and that was nice. We were given a code that we were to use that locks and unlocks the door. It's nice not having to worry about a room key all of the time. That was a perk. We stayed in the Siesta Key room and the pictures were very deceiving. They advertise that the room can sleep four. The room includes a king bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed is in a "room" and if I were to guess the "room" that the bunk bed was in was an old closet. It's that small. I don't have kids and even if I did, there is no way three people could stay in this room and feel comfortable whatsoever. If you're thinking about booking this room with kids, think again and book a bigger room. The room, in general, was just small. I get it's a hotel room, but it was just not what we expected. The king bed was a nice feature until we sat on it and slept in it. It was so squeaky that when one of us would get up in the middle of the night the other would wake up because it was so loud. That was frustrating. Our room was so small that there wasn't even a chair to sit in. Usually "resorts" have a small desk or chair somewhere in the room. When you come back from the beach sometimes you just want to sit down before going in the shower. There was nowhere to sit except for the bed and no one wants to get sand in the bed. There are two rocking chairs on the small porch outside of the room and that is where we did most of our sitting, considering there was nowhere to sit in the room. They do have two pools. One was a few steps from our room and the other was sort of across the street. The one across from our room was considered the main pool and was nice. It wasn't very big and got crowded quickly. In fact, the newly engaged couple that played seven consecutive Maroon Five songs finally forced me out of the pool. That's how we ended up at the other pool. It was so hard to find we had to ask two different employees where it was. When we found it, it was awkward. There were a couple of people in there that were staying right next to the pool and it felt like we were invading their privacy. That was also a small pool and it just felt uncomfortable. A few of the pros here were that they do give you a free beach chair per person to use during your stay, a free 2-hour bike rental, the location isn't far from the beach (roughly a quarter of a mile), and everything is within walking distance. The bathroom was the nicest part of the room and felt the most spacious. I will say, you could tell the room was recently renovated and was very updated and nicely decorated. The cons were that we had no place to store our chairs since our room was so small, ants and small bugs roamed around our room frequently, the mini fridge wasn't very cold and there was no space to hang clothes. Although the beach chairs were free for the week, they charge $10 per day for an umbrella rental. There wasn't an ice machine available and if you wanted ice they charge you $2 for a bag. Name a "resort" that charges for ice... I disagree with people that pull the "I'm only in the room to sleep." That's not the case with me. I like to relax for a few hours of the day and this room was so small that towards the end of my stay, I was getting very claustrophobic. We stayed positive and tried to make the best out of our visit but the cons outweighed the pros especially since our expectations were pretty high considering this is a "resort" and the rooms ran right around $200 per night. After I visit practically anywhere, I always ask myself one question: Would I stay here again? I'll put it this way, it wouldn't be my first option.

I came on vacation with my family for 4 days... we were looking forward to disconnecting from reality for a bit. Reading up on Tropical Breeze before our arrival they made numerous false claims, that you will soon learn about upon arrival. We arrived on a Tuesday and we used the ice machine that they had & my family and I believe it was free due to the high rates of the resort.. Friday arrived & they locked the ice machine and began to implement a new policy that they always charged $ for ice but they left it unlocked by mistake, funny that they corrected this "mistake" for the weekend. On the website it says "complementary bike ride" but when you arrive they will tell you it is complementary, but only for 2 hours and that they will not allow you to ride them after a certain time, so if you have plans of watching the sunset roll in while biking on a the beach, fo' get about it... We spent the vacation cleaning because they do not clean the shower and there was sand prior to us even showering on the first day. If you are coming in the summertime and rain is forecasted bring galoshes... Chairs are free but umbrella is not included. Way over priced, not good value for your money... That being said, it is very close to the beach and the town surrounding it is very nice ... We will be back to visit siesta key BUT we will definitely not be returning to Tropical Breeze.

We chose Tropical Breeze Resort/Inn based on some great reviews on Yelp, that other site (*cough TA cough*) and the fact that their own website says "Siesta Key Beach Ranked #1", can't go wrong there, right? Haha Anyway, the the resort consists of homes, condos and villas that were bought out and turned into one complex. Because of the unique style of each piece of property, there isn't an exact duplicate of every room (I'm assuming this based on what I saw from the outside). We had booked the "Standard Resort Room" off of the website and were pleasantly surprised with what we ended up with. Our room (141) was in a larger home that had one of the three property pools outside of its back deck. Upon walking in, there were two rooms on the lower level along with a HUGE common living room and kitchen area (full couch, loveseat, fireplace, tv, bar, island, full kitchen (including kitchenware - pots/pans/glasses/etc, dining table, side table). There was also a room upstairs which I assume is a bit bigger but don't know for sure. Our actual room was small, but reasonable. Had the queen size bed, flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, tub shower, ample sized bathroom and closet along with iron/ironing board and 2 beach chairs. Staff was super friendly and the housekeeping service was prompt each day...seems like they knew when we stepped out for lunch! Every time we came back, everything was clean and made up to perfection. Aside from the wonderful accommodations, the location was absolutely PERFECT!! We were a couple hundred yards from Sunset Point on Siesta Key Beach, which means not only awesome sunsets, but also a non-public beach area to chill. A couple hundred yards in the opposite direction and we were right in the middle of the awesome bars and restaurants of the village! You definitely don't need to use a car while you are here! Speaking of car, you do get one reserved spot per unit which was really nice. They mark the parking stop with the room number so that your car is pretty close to your actual room. The only drawback I could come up with was the fact that the walls were definitely thin in our home. Luckily one of the three rooms wasn't even occupied while we were there. It wasn't to the point where you couldn't enjoy tv or laughing conversations, but you'd know when someone went up or down stairs, left the building or was using the pool. This was a minor blip on the radar though and we'd book this property again in a heartbeat!! Oh and the resort does allow dogs for a minimal fee each day. We saw lots of friendly canines being walked by owners. All in all an awesome stay at an incredible spot in Florida. I really cannot wait to go back and spend more time in Siesta Key at the Tropical Breeze.

All the customer service prior to and at arrival was awesome, so we expected more of the same. Seems once you're here though, and they've collected your $220 resort fee they no longer give 2 craps about you! I have never had to write a negative Yelp review before, WHILE AT the location in hopes of getting some assistance! But we've now been here 2.5 days, and have had to call 3 times requesting, then asking now practically BEGGING for bath towels! Additionally, there's ZERO quality light here in the suite. There's no lights except lamps and cooking in the kitchen is akin to cooking 2hile camping. VERY LITTLE appointments to cook w/... the crappiest coffee, not even Salt and pepper to cook with and actually seeing what you're doing, forget about it! I asked for an extra lamp, along with towels, and got neither! 1st morning here, they didn't clean because we have our dog here. He was in a room, so not like he was going to do anything, not that he would, except maybe lick you. That said fine, they left a bag of items on our doorstep, and w/a family of 5, they left us ONE, YES, ONE bath towel. When I called, they've promised to send house keeping, and no one has come, but suggested I walk down to the office to get some! Really? Outside, in the rain, after a long treck back from the beach, and I have to go back and walk to the office for bath towels? I truly am at a loss.

It's my second time staying here, my first was new yrs eve...awesome lol gem so close to everything, top quality, super clean always n now ever more clean if possible, best location, amenities, super friendly staff, helpful, all walking distance to beach ,n main strip,

So filled will joy! Our stay was fabulous. Resort is adorable. Customer service was above and beyond. We stayed with our 4 children. Plenty of space. So close to everything. I would love to stay again.

Amazing resort and customer service! The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. They always made sure we were satisfied and answered all questions. I would like to shout out Lauren, who greeted us when we arrived to check in and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best vacation. I travel a lot and I have not come across someone as nice and impactful as Lauren! The rooms were clean, along with the resort grounds and pool. The location is perfect! We were able to walk everywhere and avoided renting a car. I highly recommended staying at the resort! We plan to return soon!

I stayed here with 7 other girls for my best friend's bachelorette party and it was nothing short of perfect! We got the crab trap (I think!) and we're all pleasantly surprised. The room matches the pictures on the website perfectly and everything has been kept up and cleaned meticulously. This room had its own private pool which made all the difference. We didn't even visit the community pools because it was so convenient having our very own in the backyard. Check in was easy and without a hassle and the parking turned out great. I've been telling everyone about this place and am working on setting up another vacation down there! Great access to the beach and the siesta key downtown area - all walkable so absolutely no need for a car. One of my favorite vacations BY FAR.

Location location location! I loved where our hotel was situated. It was right by the Siesta Key community area and was just a couple blocks from the beach. Once we got to Siesta Key, we parked our car in our assigned spot, which was right by our room, and spent the rest of our stay at Siesta Key on foot. No need to move the car! All the structures are one story buildings clustered together and painted the in stereotypical island colors (think that weird aqua-mint green that you only see in tropical locations). The tiny front office is quaint with a little area for breakfast. The staff was welcoming and efficient. We arrived a couple hours before check-in and they let us park our car early and hit the beach. We stayed in a "Standard Resort Room." The room is tiled which is very nice. I hate sand and carpet (gross!) so this was a relief. We stayed in one of the one queen bed rooms. There was a little closet with a few hangers, a suitcase rack, and two beach chairs for us to use. Love that! Kitchenette: Alright, I was told we had a kitchenette, but a bunch of empty cabinets, a mini fridge, a toaster, a red wine glass, a white wine glass, and a toaster does not count as a kitchenette. There wasn't a sink, but there was a microwave. If you'e going to stay here and want a kitchenette, you will need to double check what you're reserving. Bathroom: Lots of cabinets! There was a sketchy looking travel sized hair dryer in one of the cabinets, but I wasn't going to hold it near my head. The was a simple sink, mirror, toilet, and a very spacious tiled shower. Bed, TV, and more: The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice! I slept well. The TV was small and was on a little TV stand across the room and was kind of awkward to watch if you were in bed, but whatever. I was there for the beach. The air conditioner is a wall unit that is a bit loud. One downfall: Housekeeping didn't show up until after 4pm, and at that point we were getting ready for our night out and cleaning up from our day at the beach. We just asked for fresh towels at the front desk and sent housekeeping on their way. Overall, I was pleased. I loved the location and enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again.

We made the mistake of not reading the reviews before choosing this resort. :( I don't use these words lightly, but this is the worst resort staff I have ever seen. Let's begin by talking about our check-in experience. My wife called 3 times before our check-in date to let the staff know that we will be at the location by 2pm, and we need to check-in early (check-in is 4pm) because we have a toddler that needs to nap. Of course, when we arrived the staff says we need to wait until 4pm to get to our room. This wouldn't have been a problem, except for the fact that they let 10 other couples after us go straight into their rooms. The staff then had the audacity to be rude to my wife when we finally were able to get checked in. The main front desk administrator, Chloe, is rude and inconsiderate at best. The following issues arose during our 1 week stay afterwards: - Air conditioner was set on 73 degrees, and you have to beg the staff to turn it down for you (they don't allow you to control the AC). We had to call 3 times, and physically go to the front desk for the request to finally happen. - We bought the suite with a private pool, and there were other people in the pool when we arrived to the room (staff doesn't monitor the pool) - out of the 7 days of stay, the maid came 3 days. We called the front desk 3 times to ask them to service the room to no result. We ended up buying our own toilet paper and purchasing our own towels to shower. - the keypad stopped working on the 2nd day, essentially locking us out of our room. Made 2 calls to the front desk to resolve, and they finally just gave us a physical key because they couldn't fix the lock. - Late check out. This was another fun Chloe front desk saga, where we got sick of dealing with her sarcastic responses and asked to speak to her manager. They were finally able to get us an 11am check-out (10am is normal check-out) We will not be staying at this place again unless they come under new management. What a nightmare...

My sister and I came to Siesta Key to be with our family. We were disappointed in this motel. For $220 / night we expected at least a queen size bed. It does have a mini fridge and microwave, a great location and a flat screen t.v. It was clean but there was limited maid service today (a.k.a. clean towels). The pool is nice and the grounds well kept. The room only has verticals, no drapes so the light shines through. The closet rod fell down today with our 5 hangers of clothes on it (twice). We were disappointed! !!!

If you're a low maintenance crew, this is a great vacation spot. My boyfriend & I stayed in unit 89B, which was listed as a 1 bedroom suite. We had no issues with check-in/check-out, guaranteed we arrived after their 4pm check-in policy & before their 10am check-out policy. I emphasize low maintenance because while it's labeled a "resort", it's doesn't provide the service of a resort. Guests are offered ample accommodations, but they are not readily available as they might be at a "resort". For example, you must pick up/return your beach chairs to the front desk, along with your beach towels if you'd like new ones. If you run out of dishwasher pods, coffee, etc. you must go to the front desk to request more. If your garbage gets full, you place it outside your room for pickup. If you need new linens, you also place them outside in provided garbage bags for by noon. For me & my boyfriend, we had no problem with this because we're young, active, & low maintenance for the most part. But if you want more attentive service, it may not be the place for you. KEEP in mind- a lot of the cleanliness guidelines are due to covid, so this may not be how the resort does things outside of the pandemic. As for the resort aesthetic, it's very cute. The tropical vibe is prevalent; there are palm trees everywhere, bright colors (similar to key west), two nice pool options if you tire of the beach. The location is PRIME, especially for young people & active families. You're a 5 minute walk from the beach, along with most of the popular restaurants. Staff, for us, was good. We had an issue with our sink draining that caused the dishwasher to flood. The maintenance crew was very kind & attentive. They had the issue resolved for us that same day & made the effort to locate us in the resort & further ensure we were satisfied. Our only complaint was the room needing a deeper clean prior to our arrival. The floors felt a bit grimy, as though the cleaning crew was in a rush.

Myself & my husband have been staying here on and off for the past few years , we have stayed in many rooms & the last few times has been the honeymoon suite , we we really like . The location is perfect for the beach & for the village We were so so disappointed with the last visit we had to the honeymoon suite 2 months ago. It was not clean, food left in the fridge & quite a few bugs. They sprayed each night. The icing on the cake was when we left and called later to tell them I left my hair straightener in the bathroom ( a couple of hours earlier ) we had to call them 4 times over the next few days and it never turned up!! It was there when I left the room?! Anywhoooo , will probably be the last time we will be here for a long time ,

We just got back from a stay at the Tropic Breeze Resort. Our Condo was clean and modern. The beach, shops, restaurants were all in close proximity. If you are thinking of booking your stay at this resort, avoid 1st floor levels. The people above us had parties practically every night. (Very loud). Our kids had a hard time sleeping. Other than that it was great!
