Tropical Glass - DIY Terrarium Kits, Terrarium Jars and Plants

The Terrarium Workshop with Tropical Glass was so much fun! I was gifted the workshop as a Christmas present, and it was one of the best presents I’ve ever received! The workshop covered the history of terrariums, the theory of why the different layers of soil help the terrarium self-sustain, and loads of time and great resources for building a terrarium that looks just like you want it to. I was so pleased with the piece at the end, and so glad I did the workshop rather than just getting a DIY kit - it was fun to have the extra info and to be able to make up the terrarium with other people who were all experimenting and having fun as well, overseen by an expert who really knew what she was doing and could help us judge whether what we’d produced would work or not.

My first order and I’m absolutely blown away, not only by the condition of the plants despite the far shipping and then further left in a box bc I had work, but how there potted how there wrapped how there packaged it’s honestly amazing, one I ordered was a begonia Rex red kiss, 😮I have no words

Great workshop! Katie is as lovely and explained everything very nicely so it was very easy for everyone to follow. I’m so pleased with the result of my terrarium and I’ll for sure be coming back for more workshops and bigger terrariums!! ♥️🪴🪴

Mothers day terrarium. This is my second terrarium. The first was at a course at tropical glass. Wonderful day and 3 years on it is stoll going strong. Here is todays. Really enjoy the process and it then adorns my home as a beautiful live decoration.

Absolutely loved building mine. So easy to build (I’d recommend the Large toolkit at least!) and everything came well packaged in eco-friendly little bags. It’s really brightened up my desk at work!

Really fun terrarium workshop on Valentines day - Katie and Isaac were great teachers and Bernie the dog was adorable! Our terrarium looks lovely on our coffee table, would definitely recommend for a date activity

Some people get chocolates, some people get roses, I got a DIY Terrarium kit!! I have wanted one for so many years!! Absolutely fantastic product. The jar is great quality, the individual items clearly labelled and well packaged, the plants are gorgeous and the how-to video was so easy to follow along. Took me a little over 3hrs to put together, but so happy with the results!

Excellent workshop. Really fun and informative. Made a lovely terrarium and feel confident doing it on my own at home
