Really pretty, not to much people! It’s a bit cramped with a wheelchair but not a problem with a manual chair, but some paths could be to narrow for an electric wheelchair. Otherwise a fun experience! Also free for students (and there are small frogs:3)!

A must-visit when you go to Uppsala. Beautiful greenhouse with the lotus pond as the highlight. As someone who comes from tropical country, the temperature and humidity feels like home, and it's so nice to see a lot of familiar plants. They also have smaller fish ponds and frogs. A delightful place.

A really great collection of tropical plants and some orchids. If you are lucky you could catch a glimpse of the South American poison frogs. They are very small, so you need sharp eyes! The rainforest section is, simply, awesome. A must visit if you are interested in plants.

It is trully one of the best Sweden’s greenhouse with so many exotical plants! Worth to visit! And the price is so low, just 50sek/5€/5$. The only thing is that the opening hours can be longer, especially weekends.

An amazing little greenhouse with a great variety of plants and biotopes. Linnaeus would be proud! Friendly staff that are happy to answer questions and offer guided tours throughout the year. Definitely worth a visit if you're into plants, like cute little tree frogs or need somewhere to shelter from the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter!

A little piece of tropical paradise to escape to during the long, grey winter. It would be even better if I knew anything about the hundreds of plants growing in there. Free entry for UU students and staff.

Yelp
We spent an hour or so exploring Uppsala's Botaniska Trädgården (Botanical Garden) when we were in Uppsala for a day last week. On a pretty day, it's lovely. When we visited (last day of May), it was gorgeous, with a lot in bloom. There's a cafe where you can get some ice cream and a tropical greenhouse (sadly, both closed just before we arrived), but it was wonderful just to explore the gardens. I got some great photographs of the flowers in bloom when we visited. Definitely a nice place to relax in Uppsala!

Yelp
I really love the botanical garden in Uppsala! It is just this little oasis in the center close to the castle and its gardens. There is a greenhouse with a giant water lily and many other beautiful flowers. In summer the garden also has a nice cafe that serves lunch and tappas in the afternoon. Here you can just sit on the gras and enjoy a nice meal and have the feeling that you are sitting in your own backyard.
