I travel a lot and renting cars is a part of the package for me. These guys are by far the easiest, most friendly and best priced car rental company I've ever come across. I never thought I'd leave a review for a car rental company but this crew are worth it.

We hired a car for 5 days whilst visiting port Douglas and we’re so happy we went with this amazing company. Julie was so lovely, communicative and even picked us up and dropped us off after hiring. The pricing was also considerably cheaper than other companies we looked at. 100% will come to these guys again when we visit, thank you so much!

The car was great and the price was the best in town. The only problem I had was getting someone to answer my calls. They are a little out of town and a wonderful lady picked me up, so friendly and welcoming. I when I returned the car I got a shuttle bus back into town. The office shuts at 4 so for a return ride you need the car back at 3.30. I hired last minute as well and the staff were very obliging. If your wanting a car from port Douglas, I would highly recommend these guys.

After searching for a Car Hire place that wasn’t averse to having “elderly” drivers hire cars without an exorbitant excess fee, we were recommended this place. We cannot praise them highly enough. They were extremely helpful and the prices were well within our budget. We wish them well in their business and hope that they have all the success they deserve.

Best car rental experience ever! We have rented cars in several parts of Australia, but none of them were as good as Tropical North. This company goes out of its way to keep things simple and affordable and to ensure the clients feel trusted and in good hands. Angelique went out of her way to pick us up and drop us back to our hotel at the end of our stay. The car itself was fantastic and the price was better than any other company by far. I highly recommend this company to all travellers in this beautiful part of Australia!
