A tasty reliable Cuban breakfast spot. We come here after we have just landed in Miami. The coffee (cafe con leche or cortadito) has always been perfectly sweetened.

I have been looking for a local Cuban spot in this area. I have found it! Service was great. Friendly staff. They do speak English and Spanish. Helpful with menu choices and the food is great! This is a mom and pop locally owned place. Looking forward to eating here again. Finding real Cuban food North of Miami is hard.

First time here. Wonderful authentic food. Great staff, very welcoming to out-of-towners. Walked us through the menu and guided us to some amazing dishes. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Try the Cuban sandwich, of course! The pork was lean, the flavors all blended together great, and with some crystal hot sauce, perfection! Erica had the ground beef sandwich which is a Cuban taken on sloppy joes with raisins and olives, absolutely delightful with their “pink sauce” garlic, spicy deliciousness. Come by soon and you’ll be here often!

This is a neighborhood spot that I've driven by for years with the intent of stopping in or looking them up. Well I finally made it happen. Walked in, grabbed a menu and walked out. Perused the menu and when I got to my house a few minutes later, I was calling in my order. With all the online ordering apps, the art of the phone call can sometimes be lost, but not here! Friendly, personable and patient, they assisted me in placing my order even though I butchered the pronunciation of several key words :-) When I picked up my order, they are as friendly in person as they are on the phone. I returned to my car with the food and aroma was so intoxicating that I took a bite right way, oh yeah I did! The roasted pork melted in my mouth and the onions were divine :-) When I'm happy I'm hooked and I've returned about half a dozen times over the last 3 weeks or so. I've had the lechon, steak sandwich, shrimp creole and the mamey batido multiple times and I'm always happy. This is a great spot with super friendly service and delicious food consistently!!! I'm so glad I found you and I'll sure you'll be seeing me soon. Updated 12/22/22 - Still a regular, still loving the food and the Staff!!! Can now also vouch for the Palomilla steak, the Mahi mahi and the pork sandwich. Happy holidays to you all!

What a lovely place. Happy and friendly service. The cheese taquenos and cheese bread were awesome; really great bread with good cheese inside. My chicken sandwich was simple and perfect. Daughter loved the mango milkshake. Can't wait to come back.

Earlier this week, I came here with my mom and 2 kids. We had Iris as our waitress and she was outstanding. She was kind, very service oriented, super quick with bringing our food, and made us feel right at home. We bought the chicken soup, toast with butter, croquettes, and cafe con leche. Everything we got was super tasty!!! It was all fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We came for authentic Cuban food and were not disappointed . They have homemade specials daily. I got the pescado al limon and my partner got the Cuban sandwich . Their Maduros are perfect (plantains) and their rice and beans are delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Note: I asked for their WiFi password and they refused . Pretty annoying given I had to work from home while I ate.

Yelp
This place has amazing hispanic food in north miami beach. Ive been coming here since I was in high school 20 years ago!!! Everything on their menu is pretty good. I ordered some breakfast for takeout and food was ready in less than 10 minutes. I forgot to take pictures but their prices are very reasonable and steak and chicken sandwhich are soooo good!!!.

Yelp
TLDR: The best parts of Miami in one place. My favorite place to be! 5/5. MY HONEST THOUGHTS: It's about time that I took the time to write this review. I come here almost religiously with my wife, as we absolutely enjoy every opportunity to have a hearty meal. I can say with absolute confidence that, no matter what day of the week it is, no matter what meal you decide to eat, you will ABSOLUTELY enjoy it. The service? Splendid, as the waitresses and even the owner are extremely nice (and a pleasure to talk to)! The menu? There's literally so many options and all of them are extremely filling! For me personally, it has the quality of a five-star restaurant while being so cozy and comfortable. If I ever move from Miami, I would want to take the whole restaurant with me! 5/5. I ABSOLUTELY would give more if I could.

Yelp
I ordered the lomo de atún con ajo y limon (Tuna with garlic and lemon) as the special of the day and it did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, and not too much of both. Rice, beans, and yuca, as my sides, of course. Beans had great flavor! I'll never get enough of these three sides. Service was great! The new girl (I didn't get her name) was very helpful. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Ok so I came Here to wait for traffic to die down was kind of hungry so decided to try it out. I ordered a coloada sin azucar, two Croquetas and a chicken empanada. I'll be honest, I'm super picky with croquetas but it's only because I'm croqueta obsessed!! They weren't a 10 but a high 7 especially since they were made to order and came with a perfect pairing of a cilantro dipping sauce (I'm a sucker for sauce.) However what MADE ME write this review was the chicken empanada. Hands down the best chicken empanada I've ever had!!! It came out Piping hot, the perfect crispness, the chicken was juicy and fresh tasting the flavors were nostalgic to the point where literally even my abuelita would be impressed!! Haha In fact they were so good that at my next event I will be ordering a whole box. Now to plan an event just to have the excuse to buy 20!! Haha!! Keep it up and bravo to this DELICIOUS empanada de pollo!!

Yelp
Happily frequent this place on my visits. They're a reliable source of energy (see: cortaditos and cafe con leches), and also have tasty food options, including a pan de bolo that is super yummy.

Yelp
My favorite Cuban steak sandwich spot in my childhood neighborhood. I've been going here since my sister went in high school. So it's right down the street from our high school North Miami Beach Senior High and I would walk there with my volleyball team after practice for a quick bite. It became so traditional, we'd come on the weekends. It's a small restaurant on the first level of an apartment home. A small hole in the wall - which we all know those are the best. The Milanese chicken rice dish is awesome, the steak sandwich is a classic go to for a quick sandwich bite, the churrasco steak rice dish is amazingggg, the vaca frita rice dish is also bomb. All rice dishes come with white rice and black beans and sweet plantains. Very accommodating to substitutions like tostones instead of maduros (sweet plantain). You're welcome. They also have smoothies, made with milk or water, called batidos. The mango batido is a must order. The mamey is also very good but I'm not too sure what kind of fruit it is. If you're in the 'hood this is a definitely latin food stop.

Yelp
Where do I start....cuban sandwich was horrible. Pork, beans and rice were absolutely horrific. The yuca was hard and had no butter/olive oil or garlic. This place was recommended too me..Im recommending it to No One..!!

Yelp
Small but excellent, fast service, good food. Highly recommend Sopa Cruzada (Venezuelan recipe) a mixture of chicken, beef, corn, carrots and other vegetables. Delicious! Come and taste for yourselves!

Yelp
They're food is soooooo good just look at this juicy sandwich. My favorite pan con bistec out of all the ones I've had. I could eat one everyday and not be tired of it.

Yelp
You have to try the chicken with mushroom sauce. Grilled chicken and light mushroom, very tasty and price is right & a Creamy cortadito after lunch

Yelp
Food is very fresh. Was looking for a smoothie and had to ask for no sugar because was too sweet. Cash Only. Great food. Kind employees. Great service.
