Trou d’Argent is one of the most breathtaking and peaceful beaches I’ve visited in Mauritius, specifically on the island of Rodrigues. It’s a bit of a hike to reach—around 20–30 minutes through coastal trails—but the walk is absolutely worth it. The views along the way are stunning, and the path itself is an adventure.
The beach is tucked between cliffs, creating a quiet, sheltered cove with soft white sand and incredibly clear, turquoise water. It’s perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There are no shops or facilities nearby, which makes the experience even more serene and unspoiled—just be sure to bring your own water, snacks, and sunscreen.
If you’re visiting Rodrigues or Mauritius in general, don’t miss the chance to explore Trou d’Argent. It’s a slice of paradise away from the crowds.
