It’s no surprise to me that this place has five stars, it was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had for many reasons… First, the skills of my expert stylist were top-notch as you can see the photo. We were going for 90s glamour. Don’t worry about my tracksuit lol. As we got into the haircut, I started realizing that the person cutting my hair is actually the owner. She was incredibly intentional from the scout massage to the hair wash to the cut and blow dry… Even the final touches… I kept thinking to myself how after owning this place for so long which she really put so much kindness and expertise into every cut? It was honestly inspirational and I don’t even cut hair. I also have to say that the energy of her studio and her personality was so fun, it was like being at a family gathering that you actually want to go to. Usually, I don’t have the cash always to leave 20%. I usually have to leave 15 but I couldn’t help myself and I wish I could’ve left more because I felt like I was paying not only for the service But for the amazing afternoon I was able to have with these people. It’s funny writing this review because it’s hard to write one that comes off sincere when you truly had a fabulous time, but it’s completely sincere and I hope everyone goes here. Until next time!

I’ve been getting my hair cut at Troubadour by Kaylee for almost a year now, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Everyone there is professional, and welcoming. The price for a men’s cut is more than reasonable. I’ve definitely paid more for consistently worse haircuts. Each time I walk in I know I’m getting a great haircut, pretty quickly, and for a good price. Which is exactly what I’m looking for.

Love this place! Kaylee is amazing and I’ve always loved every cut and coloring. Took me awhile to find the right person in slc but so glad to have found her!

I hadn’t cut my hair for years, I was so scared of trusting someone but I’m SO glad I landed on Kaylee’s hands! She did an amazing job and she was so nice and cool throughout the process. The vibe at the place it’s great and super welcoming. I would recommend this place 100% I’m definitely coming back here.

Kaylee was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This was my first time getting my hair colored, and I was really nervous—but she instantly made me feel at ease. She completely understood what I wanted and delivered exactly what I had envisioned. The result was stunning! What made the experience even more special was how genuinely excited she was throughout the process. You could tell she was giving it her all, and the energy she brought made the entire appointment so much fun. She also took the time to help me identify some hair concerns and suggested great products and a routine to maintain healthy hair. I would 100% go back to Kaylee again (and again!)—she’s someone you can completely trust with your life(hair). If you’re new to Salt Lake City and looking for a great haircut or color, I highly recommend Kaylee at Troubador. The entire team there was so lovely and welcoming too. Troubadour is amazing! Jaimie is a wonderful colorist and stylist! She always does an incredible job with my hair and color! She is seriously so talented I cannot recommend her enough!

Aly Rana is so good! I’m a simple gal and don’t do much with my hair. Aly knew what my hair needed to look good without me putting in much effort. Her confidence gave me confidence too. I loved my visit to this Salon, they use real clean products, and my haircut + style was so affordable. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
