Trout Lake Country Inn

Located just down the road from the community of Trout Lake, this quaint inn provides a comfortable rustic setting to rest and relax all in the shadow of Mount Adam's. The staff was friendly and helped us find our food and music destination of Trout Lake Hall. The homemade oatmeal served at breakfast was complemented with fresh fruit, pastries, and fresh brewed coffee. We would definitely seek out Trout Lake Country Inn the next time we visit the area.

Great little restaurant! Had the tuna melt with gluten free bread. They have gluten and vegan options, I was surprised! Great historical old building with Mt Adams off to the right of you. Doesn't look like much but it is a hidden gem.

The Shrimp tacos are super yummy on Monday. Staff is warm and helpful. Close bunch of humans! Always love visiting this place and the humans inside this spot!

One of the best Reubens I've ever had! Highly recommended by locals and ask for Monica to serve you. Just wish their dining room was open like others during this time but hopefully soon.

Definitely tucked away in the middle of nowhere, food was ok, but the setting was amazing. I was there for a work event and even though there were a lot of us, the waitstaff was helpful and the wine was delicious.

Excellent dinners here. We've eaten here five or six times and have always found the food to be excellent. Tonight I had steamed mussels, which were fixed just right. My husband had Thai Shrimp Salad, which he really liked. My garden side salad was fantastic with very fresh mixed greens and a wonderful house vinaigrette. I'd love to have the recipe for that! We had a tasty warm huckleberry pie served a la. mode for dessert. Really the dinner was superb. The only complaint was the white wine, a supposed Chardonnay from The Pines, if I heard the server correctly. Pretty awful, verging on undrinkable. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Service was good. Laid back comfy atmosphere. Prices reasonable.

Amazing views and atmosphere, get there early if you plan to have cocktail hour it closes at 9:30pm
