TRS Turquesa Hotel

Great week at TRS. The beach and pool were great, the weather fantastic in January - not too hot and the odd short rainstorm. This is our third TRS hotel, having visited Mexico and Ibiza. Outstanding service from our butler Jean, in building 51, which is a great location near the main pool and beach. Nothing was too much trouble for Jean he looked after us from the moment we arrived - helping us book all our preferred restaurants, helping us figure out our departure time and even organising a lovely surprise for us. Dolores was fantastic at the pool bar - she was friendly and kind and kept us in constant supply of drinks - she looked after us so well. Favourite experience was Chic cabaret - excellent food and a wonderful show put on by very talented performers - it’s a must when you stay here. Helios on the beach is a gorgeous location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And Capricho is also good if you want to mix up locations for lunch. In general the food was lower quality than Mexico and Ibiza, we found. But there is so much choice there’s something for everyone. The gym was very very well equipped and not too busy. Brilliant morning yoga/stretching and Pilates with live music and fresh coconut water afterwards - brilliant special touch. Big thanks to Jean and Dolores for making our holiday extra special.

This was my first time in Punta Cana and staying at TRS Turquesa! The grounds were well maintained and the drinks were delicious. Most of the staff were friendly, specifically I would like to give a shout out to Anotti and Joana in the Helios restaurant as their service was top notch. Above all, I was truly impressed with our Butler Eury! He was attentive, professional, friendly and very quick to respond to anything we needed. To be honest, our room could have been maintained better. We noticed some mold in the shower and there was a distinct smell of dampness. Overall, my family had a good time

***Exceptional service — Meldy truly made our trip unforgettable*** We had an absolutely incredible experience at TRS Turquesa Hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to our butler, Meldy. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make our stay feel special, personal, and completely stress-free. Meldy took the time to ask if we were celebrating anything special, and when he found out it was my fiancé’s birthday, he surprised us in the most thoughtful way. We came back to our room completely decorated for the birthday, and later he even came poolside with a cake and sang happy birthday — it was such a genuine and memorable moment that we will never forget. Throughout our entire stay, Meldy checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was always perfectly stocked, any requests we had were handled quickly and seamlessly, and he made everything feel effortless. He was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, and his professionalism, kindness, and warmth truly stood out. What made the experience even better was how much he genuinely cared. It never felt like “just his job” — he clearly takes pride in making guests feel welcomed and valued. Because of Meldy, our trip felt elevated from a great vacation to an unforgettable one. If you’re staying at TRS Turquesa, you are incredibly lucky if you get Meldy as your butler. He is a true asset to the hotel and a perfect example of world-class hospitality. We had a fantastic time! The grounds were very clean and well kept. Our butler Paola was amazing! She even offered to come pick me up when I was direction-turned. We always had everything we needed in our room. When we were at the beach, Enmanuel always kept us stocked on drinks. He was always happy to see us, which made us feel at home. At the bar, Steven made for great conversation and drinks. He even made me virgin smoothies by special request. We would definitely recommend this resort and look forward to staying again!!!

We stayed at TRS Turquesa with our family and overall had a pleasant experience, though there were a few notable issues. I want to start by highlighting our butler, Eury. He was absolutely phenomenal. He was friendly, attentive, and always quick to help with any questions or concerns we had. He truly made a positive difference in our stay. For the most part, the resort staff were friendly. Some stood out more than others, but that’s pretty typical anywhere you go. The pool area was clean and well maintained, and the beach was also kept in good shape. It was nice having staff walking around regularly offering drinks from the bars. The food was hit or miss. The buffet experience was fairly mediocre. One evening we went right when the dinner buffet opened and most of the food was already lukewarm. Hot items were not hot and cold items were not cold, as if everything had been sitting out for a while. On the other hand, the à la carte restaurants that required reservations were much more enjoyable and noticeably better in quality. The biggest downsides of our stay were related to the room. There was a significant amount of mould in and around the shower and bathroom area, which caused a strong, unpleasant smell that lingered throughout the room and never fully went away. Our bar fridge was also always warm. Maintenance said it had been fixed, but we did not notice any real improvement. Additionally, the room was advertised as having two queen beds, but they were actually doubles. The mattresses were very poor quality. They were extremely soft and sunken in the middle, and we did not get a good night’s sleep during our stay. Overall, we did enjoy our time at the resort. However, for a property advertised as a 5-star resort, we expected more. We have had more comfortable and higher quality experiences elsewhere at a similar price point.

Lloana was absolutely fabulous! She answered all of questions & took care of our needs! She even set up our room for a quiet romantic evening with rose petals & a bubble bath! All of the staff has been excellent. Diana took great care of us out by the pool! El Dorado has fantastic steak & waiters there were amazing. The breakfast buffet at El Torres was huge & so good! The best breakfast buffet here. Would definitely stay here again!

Sean was wonderful and took care of all of our needs. Surprised us with beautiful tub and champagne we had a fantastic stay because he was so attentive and easy to get along with. She always expressed concern to make sure that we were satisfied and happy. Dinner reservations were awesome. He's recommended we go to the Chic show and he was correct it was fantastic!

Check in was smooth and they accommodated our room requests. Butler (MELDY) promptly booked our dinner reservations for the week. He was always available and very responsive, friendly and went the extra mile to make our vacation special. Most of our meals were very good. I personally preferred the Al La carte options, particularly La Boheme, and Kusko. We had excellent service from ANDERSON. The Pool was fun and we had great drinks and service from JOEL. We enjoyed the live entertainment in the TRS lobby and the drinks were very good.
