Beautiful service and hotel. Really amazing. There are no faults and the service is 10/10. All the staff have been great so far- we got engaged and they were so attentive. Alexis from full moon dinner was great. Naomi our butler was really helpful and sweet. Andres was so helpful, friendly and lovely to talk to. He was the best!

We recently stayed at TRS Yucatan and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The quality and variety of the à la carte dining options truly exceeded our expectations. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The service throughout the resort was outstanding, with thoughtful personal touches that made our stay even more special. We were especially touched to find a bottle of champagne waiting in our room to celebrate a special occasion. It was such a memorable gesture. The entire property was spotless and well-maintained, and we loved how the resort never felt crowded. The atmosphere was peaceful and incredibly relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a luxurious, tranquil getaway with top-tier service and dining, this is the place. We would absolutely return without hesitation!

We had an unforgettable stay at TRS Yucatan Riviera Maya! The resort is stunning and offers a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible service. Mornings at Helios were a highlight thanks to the warm and attentive service from Martha and Jeovany—they made every breakfast feel special with their friendly smiles and thoughtful attention. A special thank you as well to our amazing butler, Maggie, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Her professionalism and care truly elevated our trip. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for top-tier service in paradise!

Andres brought us on a Mayan brunch tour! It was so informative and interesting. He did a great job making everyone have fun and was very friendly. The food was amazing! Loved the traditional underground cooked pork. We saw monkeys and iguana and unique birds! Great way to spend a couple of hours without having to leave the resort!

Our stay at the hotel has been absolutely amazing. The facilities are beautiful! elegant, clean, and thoughtfully maintained. From the moment we arrived, the service has been top-notch, with every staff member going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The highlight of our stay, however, was our dining experience at El Gaucho. The food was incredible, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Oscar. He delivered the best service we’ve ever experienced — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Oscar went above and beyond to make us feel special, turning a great meal into a standout memory from our trip.

Wonderful stay at TRS Yucutan!! One long weekend was not enough and we look forward to coming back! Patricia at the front desk greeted us warmly and during check-in encouraged us to purchase a room upgrade. This included some premium features throughout the resort. We were so glad we did as the room was lovely, and we got unlimited access to the hydrotherapy spa which was surreal. It also included top shelf liquor throughout the resort and tickets to the cabaret show. Shout out to Angel who ran a calming yoga class seaside, and his team with Celeste who held a fun tequila tasting Sunday afternoon. The butler service is very helpful and adds a nice touch of convenience. My only complaint is that windsurfing is advertised on the website but it’s not available here. To windsurf you’d have to travel off the property. Not a big deal though as there’s still plenty of options to be active outside. My wife and I were very impressed with our stay here and will certainly return. The food, drinks pools, and property were excellent, the staff always friendly and helpful, the resort clean and well-maintained, and plenty to do if you like to stay active. The live entertainment in the evenings was a lot of fun. We ventured into the family-friendly areas (Grand Palladium) and were impressed by those areas as well. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently stayed at TRS Yucatán and was blown away by the level of service and care provided by the staff. Every detail—from the food to the hospitality—was exceptional. A special thank you to Sandra and Orlando at Helios Restaurant, and one of the drivers Romeo ! All who went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. They even left a sweet, hand-decorated card wishing us a nice trip, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It truly made us feel welcomed and appreciated. It’s small gestures like this that set TRS Yucatán apart. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for world-class service and memorable moments!

Book now! This place is like paradise. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in March and we cannot wait to go back someday! The customer service here is top tier and you truly feel like royalty staying here. We booked the suite with a private garden pool and it was perfect! Our butler made everything so much easier by addressing any questions or concerns we had. The employees here were all so nice and polite everywhere you went! The property had so much to offer and was incredibly beautiful. The salt water pool and the Jarra beach are some of the best places to relax and get sun kissed 🌞 The lobby, transportation carts, and room service is available 24/7! In my opinion the room service food could be improved in regards to quality and flavor but there are so many more food choices on the property that it’s not that big of a deal. Finally, our butler Luis and Christian were fantastic and very professional! They made our stay so much more special! I cannot wait to visit again!

Yelp
Here's a Yelp review for TRS YucOur stay at TRS Yucatan was nothing short of amazing! From check-in to our villa (we stayed at Villa 69), the service was impeccable. The butlers were incredibly attentive and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Housekeeping and the staff at all of the restaurants also provided exceptional service. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options at every meal. The amenities were top-notch, and the nightly entertainment was a highlight of our trip. Even the golf cart drivers were friendly and provided great service, making it easy to get around the property. Overall, TRS Yucatan exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for luxury and amazing service, this is the place to be!

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start.... After traveling for 10 hours, check in was a nightmare. My pregnant wife was hot and miserable. They said the room would be ready at 3, we didn't get into it until 4. We got to the lobby at 1. Everyone is trying to sell you ALL THE TIME!!! Hard to relax. The AC gets to about 77 F. But it's a moist air. My wife got food poisoning! They don't even provide bandaids. They are $4 US for 10 bandaids. Gatorade is $7 and pepto is $20!!! My wife literally said she feels like she's dying. It was our honeymoon/baby moon....horrendous... Sheets were gross, towels stained People are nice until you ask them for something or don't buy something... Promised a room upgrade, $1500 credit, champagne and fruit... We got a coupon book and a hat! There are way better hotels. Don't stay here!!!

Yelp
Started our vacation with a very poor reception. Having spent the beginning of the day lining up reservations for different restaurants on the site, we started our first evening at the HELIOS restaurant only to be denied entry because of a dress code that was never mentioned at the time of reservation. We are a gay couple and I arrived at the restaurant wearing a knitted shirt that exposed my shoulders. Meanwhile women wearing halter tops and spaghetti straps and full cleavage were allowed in without issue. In 2025 this is beyond unacceptable especially at the price paid for our stay. The manager himself (who said he was gay) had no valid reason to justify the rule and front desk also gave no justifiable reason for the discrimination either. Be aware of this insulting double standard if you are not a hetero couple and you can expect to be treated "lesser than" for being gay. Again, with an explanation at the time of reservation this embarrassing interaction could have been avoided, but the way we were denied without proper explanation is unacceptable. Also, the butler service may be useful, but when your room is located right next to the butler desk you hear EVERYTHING, each morning i've woken up to the sound of guests cackling in the entryway.

Yelp
The resort is wonderful! Got a room with a private pool left to swim in one of their many pools to come back to a plate of fruit!! 24 hour food and personal butler to help with whatever I needed. Iguanas came to visit and I went to pay a visit to the flamingo's. Resort was all inclusive food and drinks all day long! So many places to go and all I had to do was tell my butler to order me a cart to take me. Only downside was the smell! Some places worse than others but I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I go to Mexico once a year to try a new hotel in the Cancun/Riveria Maya region every year. This year we chose the TRS based on the 5-star rating and great reviews, after our 4 days here...we are very disappointed to say the least. Pros: The property itself is stunning! Beautifully kept grounds, great pools, nice rooms. 10/10 The staff here is very sweet. All of them were very nice and welcoming for the most part. Cons: Reservation system - you can not dine wherever you want. You have to book a dinner reservation in advance at ANY of the restaurants on property. Dinner reservations book out days in advance which we were not told, so when we arrived and went to make dinner reservations, everywhere we wanted to eat was already booked up. It was extremely disappointing and no one told us this until we arrived. Even though dinner reservations were booked up, you would look in the restaurant and it would be over half way empty. The hostesses at the buffets drove me nuts, I shouldn't have to wait in a 10 minute line to be seated down at a buffet only restaurant. For the on property activities, you also have to make reservations in advance. We were unable to do a couple of the activities because again they were all booked up. We also wanted to play pickleball when we were there but the whole week the courts were reserved for a pickle ball party - no one told us this. Not being able to do any activities was disappointing. The butler was very sweet but in order to get anything done you would have to ask them SEVERAL times to do something. We had a broken tv and fridge in the room - never fixed. Asked multiple times for a toothbrush to be brought to my room, took 24 hours - it was ridiculous. The app was also not letting us book dinner reservations so we had to do everything through the butler. Food - the food was extremely disappointing. Lacked flavor. Was just not good. The worst meals were at Chic Cabaret - over half was inedible, and the Italian restaurant. The best meal of the trip was the steakhouse and the only food I would recommend. The sports bar at the Grand Palladium next door was TERRIBLE. Worst food and service ever. Took 45 minutes to get burnt onion calamari. Lastly, the BD Experience was a TERRIBLE experience. The lady at the desk fought with me about moving transportation times. They separated us and our family on different buses even though we had the same flight time. I will never use them again. Overall if you don't mind okay food, slow service, and making reservations in advance then this is the place for you. But for me and the price we paid to stay here, we will not be returning.

Yelp
Husband and I (early 30s) celebrated our honeymoon for one week (Sept 13-20). We are already thinking about going back next year for our anniversary. We stayed in a jr. suite with a private pool. Yes the room and resort smelled earthy and our clothes were damp from the humidity but it was a given with nature! You get used to it, and oftentimes it's so hot you're gonna sweat anyways. We often enjoyed the pool at night under the starry sky. HOWEVER, it is NOT fully private. One day we were enjoying it during the morning and surprised to see employees walking past our pool. Looked like they were fixing a leak and can only access from the back. Tip - there is a button for extra lights AND JETS! Buttons are on the floor, next to the railing. FOOD -- We ate at TRS restaurants only and enjoyed them all. For breakfast, Helios had more buffet options while we liked Capricho's a la carte. Our favourite bites overall: El Guacho - Short ribs, empanadas, creamy spinach, provenzal potatoes & sauces Tentazione - burrata, mushroom soup, gnocchi. Helios (dinner) - coconut shrimp, lobster, steak Capricho (lunch) - tuna sandwich, ronchero eggs Pool Grill - whole fish, nachos, tacos and octopus THINGS TO DO -- We came to relax and enjoy each other's company, so it was perfect for us. It's definitely a more quiet resort, so if you want a party vibe this isn't really your resort. But you can make your own party (more like bar hop). Entertainment gave us things to do so we weren't just in the sun all day everyday! The entertainment is typical resort entertainment, but I noticed it is more elevated compared to other resorts. We enjoyed archery/rifle, kayaking, pre/post chic show was great entertainment while having drinks, 20s show, and water circuit at the spa. Next time we will do Bingo and the aquatic workouts. SERVICE -- The service is top notch! We felt so at ease. Some individuals that really made our days: Alexis and Erick our butlers, Maurilio and Jose at El Guacho, Faustino and Maria, and the entire welcoming crew at Helios/Capricho breakfasts. I have noticed you get better attention when you tip more. ANIMALS/BUGS -- The monkey was definitely our highlight. We saw him 3 times! Harmless guy. We saw no snakes. Mosquitos lit us up at night - bring repellant. Watch out for crabs at night, so you don't step on them. We had a few snags during our trip, but nothing is ever perfect. Nonetheless, we were happy and would be willing to go back.

Yelp
This was a decent all-inclusive getaway, but I've been to better. This resort is about 1 hour away from the airport, 2 hours away if there is heavy traffic. We were greeted with complimentary drinks and hand towels. While checking in we were told we got a room upgrade (they obviously overbooked) from the outdoor jacuzzi to the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was so filled with mold we never used it. Upon asking for it to be cleaned we were met with confusion many times. The worst part about not getting the jacuzzi at our room is that we couldn't find one anywhere on the resort except at the spa which cost extra to get into. The spa is beautiful and we got wonderful massages as well as access to their hydrotherapy. The large pools on the resort were clean and staff would find seats for us if it was busy. Our room had an odd setup with no separate bathroom. The toilet and shower had their own doors but you had to walk out into the room to use the sink/mirror. This was only an issue because it was me and 2 other friends. But, we should've looked at more pictures of the rooms at this resort before booking. Shower was also filled with mold. Our room was very humid and dewy, but that could just be how it is in Mexico. The resort is so HUGE, you need a ride almost everywhere. But, there were always shuttles going by and stopping for us. The food was decent, nothing to take home, as most all-inclusives are. Our favorite was a breakfast/lunch spot called Capricho which had such a great buffet selection, I looked forward to breakfast there every morning! Dinner spots close pretty early, and most need reservations, so you need to plan your dinner ahead of time. The room service wait is close to an hour long, we often thought they forgot about us. I LOVED the Chic Cabaret, it's probably the resort's biggest asset! They put on an amazing show and served multiple courses. This was great entertainment for the night. We probably would've gone multiple nights, but the show is an extra fee. I like that there were designated adult-only areas. Staff was always so kind to us! For the cost, I do believe there are better options.

Thomas B.

Yelp
This resort has a very cold environment it does not feel at all like a beach resort. The rooms extremely poorly designed. The bathroom is in the middle of the bedroom. The sink looks like a toilet and the toilet looks like a sink! There is no place to put you shaving supplies, your toothbrush or any personnel items. There are zero draws so you are forced to live out of a suitcase. The designer should be fired.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to TRS Yacutan Sunday-Friday, end of October/Beginning of November. Our shuttle was included (BDExperience), they were very helpful and we didn't have to wait long for a ride. We were the only ones in the shuttle and it was a peaceful ride to the resort (about an hour and a half from cancun airport). Check-in was pretty seamless, they influenced us to upgrade from a suite to a bungalow and the bungalow did not disappoint! Was very private and clean, upon entering the bungalow the floors were quite sandy but there were slippers provided so it wasn't so bad. Housekeeping kept our room spotless and always added nice touches. I ended up using the bungalow jacuzzi every night we stayed and my favorite part was the outdoor shower and the hammock on the bungalow patio. Our butler greeted us at our bungalow and made us feel taken care of. We walked around the resort to get a good feel of everything since you have access to all the sister resorts there was a LOT to see. Day 2 we hung out at the infinity pool and had drinks and met some other younger travelers/couples and drank with them by the pool. I accidentally left my book and nobody was able to find it but that was my fault so no big deal. We also checked out the gym at the spa Day 2. When upgrading to the bungalow, we were told we could use the hydrotherapy at the spa during our stay for free in return. At the spa, we were told we could only use the hydrotherapy if we bought a massage or facial We decided against it and just used the gym, the gym was pretty nice with a decent selection of equipment. We got a tour of the spa and the amenities that come along with buying a massage and facial definitely looked worth it! (Steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge, etc). Food: First restaurant we tried was the French spot, COMICALLY bad food. We went to the sports bar after to get a quick bite since the french was disappointing and the sports bar's wings and chicken strips were pretty bad too. HOWEVER, every other place we ate at was phenomenal. Capricho and Helios buffets were delicious, Caprichos lunch was 10/10, el gaucho was 10/10, Bahia e brasa at the sister resort Colonial (maybe white sands?) was 10/10, and we did the chic cabaret dinner which they also included for us for upgrading to a bungalow which was nice considering tickets are usually 55 a person, the show was fun but definitely catered to a little older crowd than my boyfriend and I (we are in our mid twenties). the food at the show was fine but it was more of a gourmet experience. We were there during halloween and dia de los muertos, the halloween party was a little lame but just because not many people on the resort turned out, the dia de los muertos celebration was BEAUTIFUL. The views, 10/10, the staff, 10/10, the food, 9/10. Loved being around adults (adults only resort at trs yacutan, sister resorts allow children), and would definitely come back. Only think we didn't like was how chill the resort was, my boyfriend and I are definitely bigger parties and would try more of a "party" resort next time :)

Yelp
First impressions make a big deal especially when they don't follow up. The rooms are covered in mirrors, and no... No one wants to watch themselves on the toilet. Our room had a moldy shower, dirty bathtub and the wallpaper was peeling off. It was like staying at a dirty motel, but with a butler. The staff for the most part were pretty friendly. Though obviously not competent as we requested the shower be cleaned and the bathtub, yet 3 days of requests and still disgusting. Restaurants were mediocre at best. The only properly good food was at Capricho for breakfast and Tentazione for dinner. Helios and La Boheme were less than enjoyable. Jorge at the bar by the infinity pool is the best, wish we'd found him the first day of our trip. Entertaining, caring and made everything really good. Safe to say we won't be back.

Yelp
Food was hit or miss. The property was well kept. The butlers were nice. I expected more entertainment and a better vibe. It was just meh The spa was great, I did visit several times. The salt water pool area was beautiful but boring. The pool was cool but someone threw up in it and although someone came to clean it up there was a ton of shpew still floating in it The best part of the food were the tacos and steak that were part of the night room service.

Nice hotel The food is good as well. Customer service was very nice Yes recommend this resort

Yelp
The TRS experience is worth it. The food at Gaucho, TRS breakfast, and the seafood are great. The normal buffet is not all that. Drinks are a bit hit and miss. Pics are from various events including Chic which was nice but also pretty long. Avoid the desserts!! Pool is great but don't bother with the Salt pool.

Yelp
What a great experience, from the moment we arrived to the resort and checked into the hotel - til checkout. Upon checking in, we were given hats as well as champagne and given the option to upgrade to Premium and I would 100% recommend it especially if you are there for 5 nights, worth the upgrades. My friends and I did that and enjoyed all the premium amenities that was offered. Everyone at TRS is friendly, helpful and great. Shoutout to our butlers, Belen and Gabriel for going above and beyond to help our first time be a great experience. They were very helpful and helped us with booking our massages, dinner reservations and answered any questions! MariaFer was amazing, my husband and friends enjoyed the Casino night that was hosted at the resort! She was friendly and welcoming! My husband and I enjoyed the Spa as well - the hydrotherapy was fun and our massages relaxed us from head to toe! THIS IS AN AMAZING ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND COME BACK.

Yelp
I wrote a review on Google about my experience which wasn't a good one at all. They wrote to say they were sorry and were going to bring this attention to whomever. And I have not heard back from them. The food sucks. Services aren't so great because they fail to communicate. Please use your thousands of dollars at Xcaret or Único. You will have a great vacation. You have to make reservations everywhere. And when you do. They're booked up, so you don't even get to eat what you want. :) I was told a few times "oh yeah I'll make your reservation right now." Go ahead and go. I'd show up and get the look a deer in the headlights would.

Yelp
The resort, staff/services & food totally exceeded our expectations. The treatment was so overwhelmingly positive. I cannot thank the staff enough. From check in with Daniel who made us feel incredibly welcome & then Braulio who made sure our stay was everything we hoped it would be & more. He would randomly show up wherever we had reservations to check on our experience(s). The resort is peaceful and isolated. That being said there's a lot of wildlife living on property. I am a true animal lover; therefore, I was excited EVERY-TIME we saw a Mapache, Mexican Agouti, Coati or an Iguana. We also had a late visitor on our balcony one night. We stayed in a Junior Pool Suite with a jungle view in building 60. The private pool was fabulous. It's not shared like many other pool/swim up rooms. You can also press a button on the concrete to add hydrotherapy with some bubbles. Our Butler service was AMAZING; shout out to Verónica, Fernando & Eric at building 60. They are basically your own personal concierge. They are extremely helpful. They help call for transportation around the resort, make dinner reservations, room requests etc. There are three different pools on the TRS side of the resort, each with their own bar and towel service. My favorite pool was the coastal pool, made of sea water and gives you the beach experience without the sand in places you don't want it. Honestly, we didn't have high expectations for the food. We were mistaken. The food is fantastic! They really deliver (literally if you want room service ha-ha). We tried & recommend Helios, El Gaucho & La Boheme. The Room Service did not disappoint either. One of the best resorts for gourmet food. It was recommended by our Butlers to attend the Chic Cabaret show. It's an 8 course meal with an utterly mind blowing show. The 8 course meal is GOURMET! We were absolutely blown away by the performances. There is a spa and fitness center. My husband and I opted for a couples massage. It was amazing! Very relaxing. The spa has its own separate section of the resort, with its own outdoor quiet pool, gym, hydrotherapy area including sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool and circulation walk. I also used the fitness center daily. I love to start my day with a workout (even on vacation) and when we booked I made sure there was a gym/fitness center. The fitness center opens at 6 am daily. They provide towels, water & snacks. The fitness center is top of the line of any I've seen at any hotel/resort. It also has a separate studio for fitness classes with two TRX set ups. In the TRS lobby there are representatives available to help you book the perfect excursion. We found the experience of booking excursions easy and the prices reasonable. The representative listened to what we were looking for an suggested a few options. We chose the half day Mayan Ruin tour, cenote swim & snorkeling. The service is above and beyond.

Samm R.

Yelp
This was supposed to be a wonderful trip with my husband and after reading so many wonderful reviews my heart was really set on this hotel/location. Once we arrived we actually up graded our wristbands to premium experience needless to say this was probably the best decision we did. However, it will cost you an extra $100.00 per night, but the service is better in regards to food and treatment with seating. This doesn't include everything if you want to sit in a nice location on the salt water beach it will cost you more even thought this is probably the least used pool in the resort. The butler service is terrible they constantly switch and you can ask for something in the morning and you will have to follow up in the afternoon because mostly they forgot about you and weren't able to get it done. Food also is not good wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
A Mexican Paradise Vacation - TRS Yucatan Hotel **Overall Experience From the moment we arrived at TRS Yucatan Hotel, we were enamored by the ultra-luxurious environment and the endless amenities available to us (minus the few hiccups). This large property boasts unique offerings such as the Romance bungalow, complete with our own private canoe - an extraordinary touch to our vacation. The elegance and sophistication of the resort truly elevated our experience to a level of unmatched comfort. **The Staff We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to numerous staff members who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Hotel Manager, Braulio, ensured we were well taken care of and added a personal touch to our visit. He went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our butlers, Maggie and Eduardo, were incredibly helpful in organizing and planning our daily activities and reservations. Their efforts were invaluable in making our vacation stress-free. At the front desk, Jorge and Guadalupe greeted us with a smile and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Their warmth and hospitality truly embody the spirit of TRS Yucatan Hotel. A special shout out to the Travel Club team, Juan Pablo, Zair, and Adolf, for their willingness to listen and work with us to meet our needs. Because of them we became Travel Club Members! The experience at Capricho restaurant was delightful, thanks to Cesar, Luis, Said, and Erasmo who provided exceptional service during our meals. Chef Humberto at Chic outdid himself with a delicious 7-course meal, an unforgettable culinary experience. Do not miss the incredible show at Chic, it's a must see! We must mention two drivers, Fernando (Burrito) and Ramon (Taquito). Their cheerful personalities added a touch of fun and laughter to our travels within the resort. Lastly, our experience at Zentropia Spa was simply sublime. Bernardo, Natalie, Marisol, and Isabel are some of the most skilled masseuses we've ever had. **Areas of improvement While the expansive property and large staff are part of what makes TRS Yucatan a desirable destination, there were occasional hiccups in communication and coordination due to its size. A few processes and procedures could benefit from efficiency enhancements to ensure a smoother guest experience. **Overall recommendation Our stay at TRS Yucatan Hotel was an experience of a lifetime, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing vacation. The excellence of the staff is what truly sets this resort apart from the rest. They deserve immense recognition for their hard work and commitment to making sure guests have an amazing time. We eagerly look forward to our next visit!

Yelp
My fiancee and I spent 7 lovely and relaxing days here on vacation. We changed rooms 3x while here (once not by choice and another was an upgrade) so I can speak to almost all the available rooms here. We stayed at first in a suite with a private plunge pool which was in building 63 so a bit away from the pool and more private and quiet. It was nice, but located on the first floor and not well sound-proofed, we could hear the people above us stomping around non-stop from 7am-9am. We immediately requested to be moved and were moved to a 3rd floor suite with a jacuzzi on the terrace in building 69. Finally, after two days we moved for the rest of the stay to one of the private cabana suites with an outdoor shower and soaking massage tub in the room with a private water-side balcony with a canoe. We loved the last two rooms and our butlers in building 69 were absolutely phenomenal. All rooms come with a butler who can update the snacks and drinks in your room, schedule dinners, and random other small things like arranging breakfast if you leave early, etc. The grounds of this place are stunning. Very well-done and well-maintained with a nice 2.5 or so mile running trail. The star of the show is the massive adults-only infinity pool overlooking the ocean where there are two bars and Helios within easy walking distance and there is always someone outside grilling fresh items by the bar for lunch (like tacos, pork ribs, BBQ, etc.). The staff at the pool host entertainment in the evenings poolside and also have several activities you can do as workouts including yoga, jumping, pilates, abs, water aerobics and water cycling. I did several and had such a good time doing it that it was infectious and you wanted to keep going. A great way to keep people active while laying at the pool. They would walk around with a sign telling you when the next activity was and where and encourage you to join. This is an all-inclusive resort so that includes food and alcohol, which is nice, but you're still loosely encouraged to tip. There are some cons: 1- Overall wear and tear - some of the items in the rooms were broken or needed repair and some lights didn't work in places. 2- Butler services are hit or miss, we often had to book rooms on our own for dinners through the app. 3- Food is not that good. We dined at all the TRS restaurants and only liked Helios, Terrazone, and Capricho. The French restaurant, La Boheme that most people seem to enjoy served food like Disney, cold items prepared en masse in the kitchen. It was not good. The El Gaucho steakhouse had poor service and fatty cuts of beef. Not impressive. A few nights we dined at the other spots off TRS property available to guests at the other three connected resorts and found them to be even worse with few options, small portions, harried service, and loud children. Specifically disappointed by our meal at La Lola. Overall, we loved our time here and enjoyed the beautiful TRS property and the staff who are mostly friendly and accommodating. Aside from a few things noted above, we'd give it a solid 4 or so stars.

Yelp
Here's my thoughts 1) Room Pro - well laid out, large, comfortable beds, decent sized showers (plenty of hot water), great amenities Con - all walls in toilet room is floor to ceiling mirrors..which means you get to watch yourself while using the facilities, our room had ample storage (our friend's room had virtually none), air conditioning could not keep pace with the hot Mexican sun (and in our case, the moon as well) 2) Pools Pro - large, clean, live music, great place to chill, poolside bbq good Cons - not enough umbrellas for shade 3) Food - very hit & miss..great at TRS, not so great elsewhere. Pros - French and Italian were off the charts good. Bkfst at Helios was fantastic. Attentive staff who would give you the shirt off their backs. Helios has a great outdoor patio. Cons - Argentinian steakhouse was a huge disappointment (dining companions left more than 1/2 of their food uneaten). Chang Thai was dreadful (food quality was awful, service dreadful, dated decor), food at TRS was substantially better than at sister properties. 4) Butler Service - fantastic ! Every one of them (Building 67) were amazing. 5) Resort - could use bikes for clients to explore the grounds. All places are impeccably clean. Shuttle busses run frequently and drivers are a hoot! 6) Housekeeping - our room was kept spotless by the staff, amenities restocked daily, turn down service was a nice touch 7) Chic Cabaret Show - Pro - one of the best shows seen I've seen at any resort I've been to. Highly Energetic. The meal was a bit weak..food courses were left untouched by some in our group. Cons - choreography a bit weak in some dance routines. 8) Beach - beach is non-existent at TRS section. Lots of seaweed at sister resorts, but staff do an amazing job clearing it.

Yelp
This vacation was brought to us by and invitation for a 50th birthday celebration. We had access to all four properties. Lodging at TRS we had a garden view suite with a small eye view of the ocean. We were able to hear the waves from our balcony. Our buildings 65/66 sat at the entry of the infinity pool and a restaurant called Helios. We frequent them due to convinces to our rooms. Helios serves breakfast, lunch and dinner sit down and à la cart options. The infinity pool has activities and grill bar that opens up from 12:30 to 5 daily. They do change up the menu. We ventured off to the other properties: White Sand, Kantennah and Colonial. TRS is adult only!! A much appreciated space for relaxing from the kids. Transportation is offered on the property. We frequent drivers, Diego, Javier, Sergio and Romeo. Great energy and safe drivers. Made the experience GREAT! You can also walk around the resort. Restaurants we selected were also great choices. LaBoheme Italian restaurant - great great atmosphere was able to host 24 of us eating that night. Food was good. CHIC cabaret, and restaurant - great pre-show and dining show. Recommend to see if your there! Food experience was great. LA Adelina Mexican Restaurant - American style. Food was good but nothing amazing. EL Gaucho Argentinean restaurant - best choice to eat while we were there. Two other restaurants in the TRS lobby. We also ordered room services which was easy to do from your room TV. LaDiala was another place we ate at. We frequent the spa at TRS and I wasn't impressed with the area. Cleaning of pools were not good. Customer service was not great either. The gym offered classes and workout trainers. Did not get any massage services myself, but my sister did and she said it was a good massage but again didn't care for the spa. Each night offers some sort of entertainment. There was always something to do. If you have access ti the other properties they also had activities that we were able to enjoy. Kantennah has a nice cigar bar

Yelp
Don't buy into the black wristband VIP experience Aug 2024 Worst resort stay l've ever had. Was charged for services never delivered. Reservations made at check in were not honored. When our resos were changed at the times of the events we had to pay more for upgrades. Butler service was non responsive, they supposedly worked until 11pm but were gone by 10:30. All communication is through What's App otherwise they don't care about your verbal requests. When bringing up the issues to supervisors Emilio and Miguel they promised us it would be fixed and they would make it right or compensate us. But when check out came they handed us a huge bill and refused to help us because of all of our problems. If you are hungry between 3-6pm don't bother eating at a restaurant they are all closed besides the bar and grill with l server and barely any seating or the small grill by the pool where food has been sitting out all day. Don't bother with the "Romantic Dinner" beachside. Bugs and mosquitoes are so bad especially after it rains all day, then when we asked if they could bring us to an inside venue with our meal they agreed. When it was time to eat, they said they couldn't accommodate and sat us in the middle of a restaurant that looked like a cafeteria with the main menu and not our lobster and steak that we paid for in our VIP package. When it came time to check out everyone gave us a bill and said they wouldn't compensate us for any of the previous requests they said they would honor. Shuttles are a joke and you have to wait 10-15 minutes at a time when they have multiple driver around and not picking up or offering to pick up guests in the excessive heat. We paid almost $1k more for a better experience and received no better treatment in return. I will never stay here again and not recommend to my companies, coworkers, or associates. No one from the hotel reached out to me after my terrible experience to see if they could make it better. If you want to just get drunk everyday and have an adult spring break than fine. But if you want to enjoy great food and true hospitality than this place is not where you want to go. None of the 3 story buildings have elevators either. Pool was nice, beach view is beautiful. But as far as the staff running this resort it's the poorest of hospitality. Never again will I spend my money with the Palladium Resorts. Just go to Xcaret where they have venues with activities on sight, ferries that can take to back and forth from Cozumel. Much better choice!

Yelp
LOVED this resort! The staff was so helpful and the grounds are very well kept. It was nice being on the adults only side but having the choice to go to the family side as well. The food here was seriously some of the best food ever. The French restaurant was our favorite! I recommend making your dinner reservations in advance with your butler to make sure you get to go where you want. Previous comments about the food not being good shocks me because it was so incredibly good and the drinks were well made. Definitely go to the bar in the lobby!! 10/10 recommend this place. We usually try different resorts every time we travel but we will definitely be back here.

Yelp
What an absolute dream resort! Morning 1: We woke up in a gorgeous bungalow, showered in our outdoor rain shower, hopped in our CANOE & made it down the gorgeously landscaped canal to dock near the pool, had a few cocktails as we lay in the shallow pool... The relaxation level is unlike anything I've experienced before- everything was excellent from the friendly, helpful staff, to the meticulously clean grounds, the best LOBSTER, paella, aquachiles, & ceviche I've EVER eaten. I cannot recommend this resort enough HELIOS & Boheme were the only restaurants we dined at & were blown away with both- neither of us are easily impressed. The only place that could use a little more attention to detail Zentropia (the spa) we had a couples massage-we were brought directly into a 'relaxation room' with 2 other couples- it was a dim room with water, tea & lounge chairs .. it could use a nice view, soothing music, I would've loved to have been shown to a locker room & been provided with a robe & slippers & had access to female showers/restrooms... but I did appreciate the spa being co-ed, so I guess I have to pick a side here Anyway, TRS is heaven on earth We didn't see much on the resort prior to booking & felt like we were somewhat taking a chance; we're very happy with our decision & hope to be back againn

Yelp
I just got back from TRS Yucatán and am so surprised it's only 3 stars on here. We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect. Our Room: We had junior suite with lounge pool. The pool was great, the room was spotless. Housekeeping did such a great job, they would even tie my hair dryer and curling iron cords up pretty! They swept the room every day, left us goodies at night. Just perfect and clean. The Food: Helios and La Boheme were our favorite. All the food was muy delicioso! We especially loved the grills near the pools where they made lunches outside. Just be sure to make dinner reservations is all and you will have no problems. The Amenities: we stayed in 66 (near Helios) and were right near the infinity pool and the saltwater pool. Saltwater pool had a little seaweed but we didn't mind as it was all off to one side, the workers were always cleaning it and we had 3/4 of the pool seaweed free to relax and watch the ocean waves. Our favorites were the exclusive TRS Beach section and then the secret pool in the middle of the resort our Butler, Triana, had told us about. The Staff: We love Triana, she basically planned out the most romantic day for us! Very grateful for her. Thee most friendly, courteous people I've ever met work at TRS. Manuel brought our room service and did such a great job, it was such a treat! Our server at CHIC was Jorge and he took such care of me to make sure everything I had was Gluten-free and no Tuna due to my allergies. He was friendly and thorough and made me feel special rather than a pain (as other restaurants in the past have made me feel due to my food allergies). Zair, the person that showed us around the resort in day 1 for the club membership presentation was amazing! We just got married and knew we weren't going to sign up, but Zair was so nice, knowledgeable and courteous that we almost changed our mind! We had signed up for the presentation to get a free massage at Zentropia and it was worth it in our experience, however from other couples we spoke with, they didn't have as nice as a time as we had with the presentation so I'd say probly safe to skip it unless you really want the free massage. All in all, 10/10 would go back and recommend it for anyone, especially for a honeymoon like we did. Take your sunscreen because there is so much to do, you will be outside a lot. But there's also plenty of shade and golf carts to take you around.

Yelp
Amazing place very exclusive and catered to each person booked a suite with private pool and was amazing. staff is super attentive you have your own butler who looks out for you and text you every day with activities and is available for you 24/7. Hector at the Gaucho restaurant was beyond perfect. Hotel is the all adults section of the Palladium hotel.

Yelp
TRS Yucatan at the Grand Palladium Resort is a superb place to vacation. Clean, spacious rooms with options for a jacuzzi or private pool. All of the staff are incredibly polite and will help in any way possible. The food is excellent at every restaurant and cafe. There are trams to take you all over the resort. The white, sandy Beach is a great place to spend the day. The Chic Cabaret is a must see with amazing performances by the talented dancers and singers. On a more current note, the resort provides covid testing which is currently required for re-entry into the US Last but certainly not least, the Chef's Table special event is a must. The resort sous-chef Felipe, maitre d' Israel, the Doctor of Mixology David and the rest of the wonderful staff of Angel and a few ladies we missed their names, prepared for us a multi-course meal before our eyes complete with wine and drink pairings. Their attention to detail in every course was totally complete. The finest little touches of the garnish, from a flower petal to a berry were exactly placed with the utmost care. Not only to add beauty to the plate, but taste as well. From the gazpacho soup to the tuna cooked on hot stones, each course left you wanting more of it. This was by far the best complete meal I have ever had. Please treat yourself to this incredible experience if you are here.

Yelp
One star only because you can't give a negative set of stars. Please read and if you're looking for the best Mexico resort, go elsewhere... we've been to 5 other resorts in this region and this is hands down the worst. Day one started out with a long day of travel to arrive here. Our excitement was quickly dashed when we waited over an hour for the shuttle service from the airport that we booked through THIS hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel, we were hungry but the only place available to eat was the sports bar. We ordered hot wings, fries and cheese sticks. All we're barely heated to room temperature. We also ordered two cocktails. The waiter brought the drinks to the table and they were not what we ordered. We left a tip to be nice and then left unsatisfied. It then took a while to get a shuttle back to our main lobby where our bags were being kept. We were hounded by the blue shirts wanting two minutes of our time again while we waited a lengthy amount of time for a different shuttle to take us to our room. We waited 45 minutes... We were quickly losing patience. A bellman finally loaded our bags on the cart with another couple and away we went. The other couples room was before ours so we were expected to sit in the heat while he escorted the couple to their room. Our building was next door so I carried our luggage up the stairs myself to our room. To our continued disappointment our bracelets did not work on the door, therefor we had no access to our room. The bellman finally arrived and received permission to open the door for us. We were advised that we would have to go BACK to the lobby for new bracelets. We refused, at this point I was extremely upset with your resort. The bellman went back and obtained the new bracelets while we sat in a dark room with NO POWER, no air conditioning. We got the butler involved and had to reset the breaker behind the mirror. The power was restored and we finally experienced some Air conditioning. The power then continued to go out three more times, we had no makeup mirror and we had no hot water. To top it off we ended up in a cold shower to end day 1. Day 2 We woke up to a hot room with no power and requested a room change. The power had gone out yet again whilst sleeping. They found one in the building next to us but it wouldn't be ready until later that day. We were told to pack everything up and the bellman would gather our things and move for us. This was around 10 AM. We went all day with NO room to use and access to our things. We wanted to nap that day, unfortunately, we couldn't because we had no suite. Our new room and things were unavailable until close to 4 pm!!! We had to pursue the front desk to get a room. This was unacceptable. I paid for a room and did not have one. At least the new room had a make up mirror for my wife, but the light didn't work. The first room didn't even have a mirror as described. Day 3 We woke up to ants IN our bed!!!! We requested that the maids change the sheets and we thought that that would solve the problem. Our two bottles of alcohol were finally put in our room after hounding the butlers. Still didn't receive the mixers for them until day 4. My wife requested a special dinner and special night set up for our 20th anniversary that never happened. There were another couple dining in the restaurant we went to that had a beautiful table with roses and champagne... We were not even wish a happy anniversary. The butler service was poor at best. Day 4 We arrived back in our room from a day with our friends and settled in for the night. The TV remote stopped working, just the power button and volume so we couldn't turn it off to go to sleep. It was too loud. We called for the butler to assist and realized we had ants all over our room and in our bags. At this point we were just done, the vacation we expected was stressful and by far the worst we've ever had. This is our 5th time visiting the riviera maya and the worst resort experience. We pre booked a night at the Chic Caberet which we were looking forward to. We were enjoying a cocktail outside the venue when the host arrived and was checking people in. We were not on the list. My wife had to go to the front desk again to find out what happened and rectify this mistake ourselves. Not enjoying our evening cocktail. It was finally fixed and apologized for but one more reason we are not happy. Finally, our Air conditioner in the new room is the loudest AC ever. The ceiling rattles constantly and is worse when the AC isn't running. My wife recorded it just fir proof. We were not about to change rooms again so we just dealt with it. Horrible nights of sleep

Yelp
Susie Wood Bellisario 3h · Shared with Public Public I was recently in Riviera Maya at the TRS Yucatan which I have been at 9 or ten times. We took our sons, my sons girlfriend and another friend of my other son. My youngest son and girlfriend were told when we arrived they would get a room with the jacuzzi outside which they did NOT also the jets in their tub didn't work. Three days into our trip they had ants ALL in their room and bed and when my son went to the front desk at 1:30 a.m. they were told what do you expect your in the jungle(REALLY). Then to be told someone was at the room to help them move which also wasn't true because my son's girlfriend was still in the room. It took them over 3 hours to move them. The next day my son went to the front desk to complain and let me just say not much was DONE. This was suppose to be a happy time for us as my son was proposing there at a place we ALL loved in the past. Let me just say WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL.

Yelp
Waited months to come and to be told the rooms we actually reserved can't be. To correct the matter, which was clearly the fault of the hotel...we were told to pay extra. So upset and disappointed and my time here already started off on a sour note. Customer service does not exist here at check-in. But...the crew beyond management and check-in staff are so warm, friendly, and helpful...they are all smiles. I want to review higher just for the staff and beautiful grounds, but will keep it at three stars because I was so upset at the beginning.

Yelp
Our 5 day stay was amazing! Our check-in was smooth and easy. Our driver, Daniel was amazing and told us where to find everything and dropped our bags in our room. Our afternoon butler, Armando was absolutely incredible! His service was above and beyond our expectations! The bartenders Alfredo and Laura at the terrazzo bar were also so amazing, they made delicious drinks and were extremely friendly. We also booked a couples massage and it was so amazing! Lastly, check out was a breeze with Fernando. He got us from the lobby when our transportation arrived and brought our bags to the car for us. The service here is absolutely incredible and we had a very relaxing vacation.

Yelp
Came here for a week. First and foremost the personal are extremely friendly and eager to accommodate. There great. The problems lie in the following lies and deceptions Rooms - The air conditioners in the rooms are horrible. They don't cool. The rooms smell like mold and are extremely humid. They tell you, your getting an ocean view when in reality it's behind a restaurant and there are palm trees blocking the view. Pool area - not enough waiters walking these areas. People have to wait for hours before someone comes by and take your order. Pool was dirty found a used condom in the water. Dishes and cups everywhere even floating in the pool. Spa- the spa was great but they lie with regards to massages. You buy a 80 min massage and they only give you a 60 max 70 min massage. Again just lies It is an all inclusive hotel that's a plus. Would I come back NO.

Yelp
Loved, Loved, LOVED IT!!! 5 starts across the board! I had a good feeling about this place when searching for a resort to bring in my birthday. After looking at reviews and checking out the pics and their website from top to bottom I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was just my bestie and I and we reserved a pool side suite with two queens. Our building location was right by the pool and was a short walk to the buffet. Check-in was a breeze, Willy was super nice and gave us a complete run down of all the amenities we had access to at our resort and the sister resorts. We also had a chance to meet Ivan who gave us an overview of their travel club and talked about some of the fun activities that happen on the grounds. This resort falls under Grand Palladium so the perk is you get access to the other resorts as well, it was huge! Major shout out our butler Erick who was super sweet and took care of our every need during the week we were there, whether it was dinner reservations, getting our tickets for CHIC or even reserving our taxi for off resort shenanigans he handled it all! Our room was super dope, bed was comfortable, smart TV had netflix which was super clutch and the shower was amazing. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping our room nice and neat and even offered evening turn down service was fantastic. Sergio gets a shout out as well, he was the first to greet us and helped us with our luggage and we even had a chance to hop on the cart he was driving to out to the different restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, THE FOOD!!! OMG!! Not one bad dish the entire time, I was in heaven! Their spa is amazing and comes with hydrotherapy. That alone is going to bring me back! Already planning for round 2!

Yelp
This was our first trip to Cancun, and we had a wonderful time on our 8-day stay! All in all, this was a great stay, and we will definitely refer friends and family to this adults-only resort. There were minor issues that we experienced, but those issues will not stop us from coming back. We might try a different resort first though, such as Barcelo. Resort: Beautiful. We had a sea-facing view in villa 67, and the view was outstanding. We overlooked the infinity pool and the sea. There were multitudes of birds flying about both morning and night. TRS Yucatan is part of the greater Grand Palladium resorts - over 300 acres! We were in the upper right hand corner and enjoyed quiet and solitude. If you wish though, and we did, you can explore the rest of the grounds and try different pools and restaurants. I wish we'd explored the far end of the beach earlier because there's a TRS Yucatan exclusive portion blocked off at the beach and it was lovely. The grounds are beautifully kept and there were endemic species traipsing about. Restaurants: SO GOOD! Our favourites were Helios, Poseidon, and La Bohème. The Argentinian place was overrated- at least our server that night was seriously lacking in service. We waited in a corner for 25 minutes before we were offered water. Also, the Japanese place is only good if you get a teppanyaki reservation. Do not agree to sit in the middle near the sushi prep bar. Bars: Great. They know most drinks. Hard to get drunk. Service: Out Butlers Adrian, Erick, and Daniel were so helpful. The entertainment staff: Carla, Benjamin and the rest of the crew were so much fun as well. Spa: Lovely - the multi-step relaxation hydrotherapy was great. Our massages were also lovely and couples package is a very good deal. The not good: the excursion organizer near the front desks set us up for failure with the "free" shopping trip. It was the worst thing we experienced on this trip. They basically kidnap you and bring you to a jewelry store and then a tequila tasting room. Sounds great in theory, but items were overpriced and they make you wait hours before you can actually go to Playa del Carmen. Not worth it. Take a bus or a taxi. The bad: we both had GI issues. Not sure what it was from, our guess is the water we brushed our teeth with, the ice in the drinks, or maybe the TRS bottled water bottles... Barcelo is next, but after that, perhaps we'll be back!

Yelp
The highlights of this stay are few, but I will start with them. Yoga with Fernanda, Carla, and Benjamin was fantastic. Fernanda is such a gem! Also Ivan at the pool near the Villas is so attentive. The Cabaret was outstanding, but don't forget to pack your long pants (men have to wear them). COVID protocols seem pretty good. They "say" they require masks in the commons areas and on the shuttles, but some of the shuttle drivers do not enforce the rule. Coffee is good! However the last two lattes I ordered have been cool (room temp at best) Now for the parts that will prevent me from every coming back. I am here as I type this. I have been to all inclusives all over the Caribbean. This has by far been the worst experience. 1. We have asked for housekeeping for two days. We have escalated and still no one. Normally we would not ask for housekeeping, but we have room service dishes in the room that are really starting to stink. 2. TRS Butler service is very slow to respond and then responds with sarcasm or rudeness. 3. The wait to get food at most restaurants is more than an hour. Food is really good, but that could be because by the time we get served we are so hungry we will eat just about anything. 4. They tell you not to eat or drink anything, or brush your teeth for a few hours before your required nasopharyngeal COVID exam? Not sure why a nose swab would require no eating or drinking. 5. I booked a massage on the app (which is how they tell you to do it). Actually the Butler service should have done it but they went MIA for an entire afternoon. My massage was never confirmed by the spa even after I messaged them twice. I was basically told that they would get to it, but they never did. 6. The guy at the spa juice bar is down right rude. He does not talk to you, shoves your food across the counter and walks away. 7. The lights in the bathroom (and everywhere are motion activated). Bravo for the energy awareness. However, our bathroom light shuts off within seconds and you are stuck on the pot waving your arms in the air to get it to come back on. Most of the time I had to just open the door to get light because it never came on. 8. They tout room service 24/7 but the menu is VERY limited. The nachos were pretty darn good though. However, you may never get your dishes removed. 9. Service in the restaurants is hit or miss. Patricia at Capricho was one of our faves. I would pass on this so called 5 star resort. Save your money and get mediocre to sub standard service elsewhere.

Yelp
There were so many wonderful things about the TRS Yucatan. The quality of service at the hotel, the attention to detail, how beautiful the property was, the cleanliness of the rooms, the property, every inch of the hotel was spotless....our personal concierge/ butler Jessica singlehandedly made certain our reservations were made at the restaurants, that we had any extra Nespresso that we needed or fruit. She should be the the butler/concierge TRS that patterns and trains all their similar staff. The Executive chef went out of his way to make sure they could accommodate a vegetarian/vegan - Hector the executive chef, Walter the head chef at Helios and Luis the morning chef were above and beyond in the attention to detail,... I thought after the first night there it would be a struggle.. and maybe I would lose a few pounds, but Walter and Luis made sure I was well fed and had lovely food experiences. The Chef at La Boeheme,Chef Felipe made me something amazing - the flavor was out of this world! Chef Miguel at the French restaurant ...After I spoke with Kevin at the front desk, he passed on the information. Kevin also went out of his way to research the shuttle company I booked to the airport when the confirmation came back without contact info. ' I have travelled to Mexico several times and the service is great, the service at this TRS property was stellar on all levels. The people are what makes it even better than you can imagine. This would be the place to stay - amazing all levels.. You owe it to yourself to stay here!

Yelp
Tried to charge me for 2 bottles of wine when I only purchased one in La Bohiem! Ordered food on the tv got a confirmation phone call waited 2 hours for room service & on our last morning to add insult to injury ordered breakfast at 0700 expecting it 2 hours later & it NEVER came! This place a superficially beautiful but when you peel back the layers you will find this place is a dump! Do not stay here unless you want Grey hairs & your trip ruined

Yelp
We have been a member for about 4 yrs now, We bought our membership at TRS Turquesa since we really enjoyed the stay, year after, stayed at TRS Coral in Costa Mujeres, got an Ambassador suite, decided to upgrade that year to Ambassador since we liked the perks such as free Chic cabaret show, lobster every dinner when available, private airport transfer and premium drinks BUT this year we decided to book at TRS Yucatan, at first it was so hard to book with an English speaking operator, so it took time to get a booking so we ran out of Ambassador suites to book and settled with the Junior Suite. When we arrived, we struggled with the operator for transport transfer since a confirmation receipt/ voucher was not emailed to us, we ended up having a shared transportation and was the 4th stop so the 1 hr trip took 2 hrs to the resort. Secondly, at TRS Yucatan, even though we have an Ambassador membership, min golf cart time was 15 mins, denied "premium" drinks at TRS bar, denied a day bed (even called Daniella at the members club), all because we booked a junior suite. We paid the Ambassador membership tier regardless of the suite, shouldnt we get the same benefits? The Membership club has been pumping up on recruiting but failed to increase upscale rooms to their members, so if we can just turn back time, we will never upgrade, its impossible to get all the promised perks because once you're in they dont care! A general review: Food was average, beach has a lot of weeds and rocky on Helios side, service was ok.

Yelp
We stayed there and had a decent (at best) stay until it came to our transportation which we had booked through the hotel. The transportation to the hotel was also not great either but on the way back was NON EXISTENT. As we were waiting for our transportation (again booked thru the hotel) to pick us up, minutes upon minutes go by after the time we've been told they were picking us up with no one to show up. We eventually start getting pretty concerned so went over to the counter to find out what was going on. They said the shuttle is coming just to wait, we said ok, more time elapsed didn't come so we went back again and they finally checked it out. Turns out the shuttle got into an accident and would not be sending another shuttle to pick us up. We said ok fine, but where does that leave us we still have a flight to catch and they were like you have to take a taxi and we were like "ok you're going to arrange and pay for a taxi that's fine". Nope, not the case. We were told we would have to arrange and pay for a taxi which mind you would have been more expensive than an another private transportation service would have cost ROUNDTRIP. So we said that's unacceptable, with some back and forth going on at which point management got involved and said they would refund SOME of the taxi as long as we got a receipt. At this point we roped in the palladium management as well as the transportation service management. Palladium management assured us that no matter what happened that they would make it right and would be contacting us once we got home and followed up with them, we were assure that no matter how we paid or what transport service we used as long as we followed up with them we would be reimbursed - we followed up and were GHOSTED. Luckily, there was a nice couple that had a private company they booked outside of the hotel for airport transport that heard what was going on and offered us to get a ride with them if the company they were with allowed - the company did but not without us paying. Because we hopped on last minute there was no way for us to get a reciept and we had to pay in cash or else we were stuck paying double if not more for a taxi and possibly missing our flight. palladium really dropped the ball on this one, ghosted us, did not follow up, and did not come through with what we were assured would be the case. Turned a decent stay into an absolute nightmare!! Stay far away!!!

Yelp
I'm gonna leave this right here until the end of my stay. I've been here ONE night and I'm already beyond upset at the staff. My rooms pool Jets, busted. We asked several times to have it fixed. The fridge is defrosting (it appears) there's water leaking from it. Naturally traveling to different countries, there are people trying to sell you stuff. I've been traveling, not new to this. I put down cash for a tour/presentation at another place. We try to leave the hotel in the am to go do the presentation (which includes booking our excursions at a cheap rate. And good ones!) The staff literally tries to hold us hostage!! Not one but TWO individuals GRILL us about how dangerous, they steal cards over there, why are you going, you don't have to leave the resort we do a presentation for excursion discounts too. I'm pissed. It's early, I'm on baecation I didn't ask you for your assistance with my excursions. And the negative energy uncalled for on MY time off. Expensive ass place and we are uncomfortable. But yet we complained all night and in the am about our pool and leak issues, no fix. It was the tag team that really burned me. After we told the first guy we'll be fine and we need a taxi. He calls another person.. who stalks us. He waits for us to finish our complaint regarding the fixes (again) about 15-20 min. Then we go to our hotels excursions desk and this guy walks up to ME!! Not even my husband who walked out before me and was already handling the excursion booking (they didn't have horse excursions as an option at the airport. So look!! The hotel got an excursion out of us anyways!!) this man starts HARASSING ME! Telling us we're in Mexico so they're responsible for us. ... He follows us even after we say we're ok. Now we're in the front of the hotel. He's still on us and now he's trying to have us sign something!!!! I explained to him we are adults and in no situation would you ever be ok to control where we go and what we do! I told him it's not your business what we do. And I told him does EVERYONE who leaves this property sign something? The he threatens us. He says well you don't sign that's fine. We have your passports. I asked what that means. He throws his hands up. I asked for a supervisor he said he was it. I said higher than you. Now I'm 200% unhappy and uncomfortable here. Oh Tip: they play with words here. What you buy is not what you may think so be clear. Example: Ocean view is not ocean view. It's ocean facing but you do not see the ocean (jr. suites with pools). Also private.. it's not a private pool anything, you have neighbors on either side. There are no dividers . So they'll be all in ya business and vice versa. Careful

Yelp
Horrible experience. Food was all clearly frozen and microwaved, served cold. The rooms were dirty, it was a hassle to get clean towels in the room and by the pool and we asked multiple times a day. Not a single one of the restaurants served quality food. The beach was a hike to get to and there were limited chairs. The air conditioning rarely worked in the room and the amenities were run down. I Do not recommend this hotel. The steak at el guacho almost seemed fake, the pasta at the Italian restaurant was microwaved, I'd rather eat easy Mac or hamburger helper. The quesadillas in room service were made with what I believe was expired cheese that they didn't even bother to melt all the way. All of the alcohol was bottom shelf and I had to throw out every other drink I ordered because it was so bad.

Yelp
We stayed at the TRS Yucatan that is a part of this larger hotel and absolutely loved it! I wouldn't have enjoyed staying at the other parts of the hotel as much although as a TRS guest, you can travel around the entirety of the resort. Food and drinks were great! Very fresh and tons of options. Sushi, breakfast options, sweets, burgers. Pizza was not so good. My group especially liked El Gaucho and had a beautiful seat outside by the river. The drinks were top shelf and not watered down at all. We all brought Yeti cups and it was nice to have them fill those to keep our drinks cool. Food at the Chic show was decent. The show was really interesting! Rooms were beautiful and ours had a great view right next to Helios (also wonderful). Every night we returned to a clean room with included options in our mini bar and room service was easy. Our "butler" was extremely helpful and pleasant. We loved the infinity pool, but never stepped foot in the ocean as it's rocky where we are. I've heard there is a nice beach not too far from the resort (10 min). We didn't feel like we missed out though. However, if you're traveling far for the ocean, this may not be the best place. We got floats from amazon and those were nice to have to relax in the pool. There are people who will stop by almost constantly offering discounted massage options at the spa there. We ended up doing an 80 minute couples massage and it really was great. The spa area is beautiful although the people stopping by showing discounts were a bit too much.

Yelp
This resort always goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Also it's adults only which I love since there are no screaming children around and you can have a peaceful vacation. Instead a hotel key your wrist band acts as a key which is pretty cool and it's waterproof. There are tons of pools to choose from but the infinity pool is my favorite as it overlooks the ocean. The food is all inclusive and fairly incredible compared to other inclusive resorts nearby. My husband and I just had our wedding here and the planner way the resort - Elsa - made everything so effortless and easy. She contacted all the vendors and had sled pretty much everything. My husband and I just had to show up and it was beautiful!

Yelp
We loved our honeymoon here! Our favorite bar tenders were at the private TRS beach, Lucia and Daniel. They were so kind and made great drinks! Jonathan was our favorite dancer at Chic Cabaret and remembered us the second night. The show was fantastic, we loved every minute of it! The food was fantastic, but required a reservation for every restaurant. Make sure to plan ahead!

Yelp
I really wanted to give TRS five stars until I received a negative encounter from one of the room service employees. I do not remember the man's name but I do remember the encounter and will gladly explain what happened. My spouse and I had ordered room service around midnight on one of the nights during our four night stay. When the room service employee came to the door, I respectfully allowed the employee to enter the suite to deliver the food. After he delivered the food, I recall the employee storming out the room and blurting out "pucha madre" as if I won't understand what that meant... and stormed out in a rude way without even closing the door or asking if our order was correct. I don't understand why he thought that cursing me out was wise. I did absolutely nothing but be courteous to this worker, I even planned to tip. Completely unacceptable. Other than the negative encounter, the food was amazing, the private beach was stunning, and the restaurant and lobby workers were amazing.
