Trsat Castle

We caught bus #2 from Rijeka, it's maybe 250m from the bus stop. Typical castle with lots of steps, stunning views, plenty of historical information. Definitely worth a visit, take the steps back and get lost amongst some stunning houses....

One of the best view of the coast and the old town of Rajika form this castle. Normally you’ll have to pay but we came on a public holiday so if wasn’t busy at all Nice little castle to walk around . Where are plenty of small pockets to take a rest. You can go to the top or the castle from the left side of the walkway . It will give you Birds Eye view of the mountain and houses .

A decent walk from town but well worth it to see this elevated historic Castle. The views are nice to see the whole town & bay whilst checking out the internal layout & materials used in the castle, its a great place to relax or have a social in this beautiful environment

Interesting place, worth visiting. It is a bit difficult to get there for the unprepared, as you have to climb the stairs, but the view from the castle is beautiful.

A beautiful castle well maintained, we came from Rijeka by foot and had to go through a long staircase which made it more interesting also. The castle itself sits on a high place overlooking the sea and the city of Rijeka. Great place to take nice pics but mostly to learn about the history. You can access the crypt and can grab a drink at the bar (it was closed when I was there though). I highly recommend spending an hour or so checking this place out and enjoying the beautiful views.

Tesar Castle, located in the heart of Pula, has a rich history dating back to the early medieval period. Visiting Tesar Castle is a must for anyone coming to Pula. The top of the castle is home to several excellent restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Getting to Tesar Castle is convenient. You can use Bolt or Uber for a direct ride, or take the city bus from the center of Pula. Tickets for the bus can be purchased at kiosks or directly from the driver. However, I highly recommend walking down to the city center from the castle. The descent provides a scenic route with around 532 steps, giving you a unique perspective of the area. Overall, Tesar Castle offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and modern amenities, making it a top destination for visitors to Pula.
