Truck Store

truck in oxford is a decent record store, it definitely needs some work in the selection though. i went in to look through their metal and rock selection and its hardly got any bands. and the bands they did have only had a few different albums. i personally believe that the truck store in witney is significantly better for punk rock and metal. however if your into goth or pop oxford is a great location for you. the prices are fair and have a large extensive collection. i did pick up a vinyl record and the staff helpful. the person working the till was quick to serve me and friendly. its a fairly small record store so it can get packed but it does have a good cafe. the selection was good but just not really for what i collect, but i am definitely willing to go back sometime.

Great selection of second-hand vinyl, as well as reasonably priced new releases. (Can't comment on the coffee as that's not what I went for!) Staff were friendly.

Lovely cosy vinyl shop keeping good music and a community around it alive in Oxford, something the overbearing university often stifles. Really friendly staff and cool selection of records. Shoutout Charlie for holding it down

I've been buying CDs from here for over 10 years. Definitely my favourite record store. Really great range, friendly atmosphere, everything is well presented. They do a great end of year list, and organise loads of in-store gigs.

This is the best record store I have visited and I come here each time I visit Oxford. There are plenty of Record Store Day exclusives and deals you can't find anywhere else. They also have a lovely and cosy cafe right next door to the shop floor. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful towards their customers. This is the kind of store that I love and I’m looking forward to coming back here next time! 😁

Absolutely brilliant little retro record shop and coffee shop!! Just make sure you help these lot out by buying a coffee or 2 or 3 (especially if you are working on your laptop inside - it’s only fair). Great coffee, albeit the slightly phalic coffee art, which made us laugh (see image) as for the shop if you collect and listen to records this is the shop for you!!! Absolutely brilliant selection, and occasionally you see some absolute gems perform here off the cuff (with the o2 just down the road - you can imagine!!!). Love this place, relaxing and cosy!!! Highly recommend!!!

Cool store! Cool vibes! Not comfy to study here but cute. Cappuccino is legit just a tiny latte with cocoa on top but it's chill. Pretty nutty espresso I think or maybe it was just the chocolate on top..... fire tho. It's a latte tho.

Cool little record store! Mostly new stuff but a really good selection, and a few things I don't see at bigger stores like HMV. They also have a small but good selection of used LPs and & 7 inches. I found a great used 7" of a UK Punk band from 1978 called The Doll that I had never heard of. It share the spaces with a really cool cafe with a friendly vibe. I liked the out door benches where I could sit and watch daily life of Cowley Road. It's a little out of the "downtown" part of Oxford but not far.. just a fun 20 minute walk down the busy High Street and across the bridge. But it's well worth it just to see another part of Oxford other than Colleges and Museums.

Cool vibe, very friendly staff. Delicious tea and great music. Half record store, half coffee shop. There's not a huge selection, given the space, but the general atmosphere more than makes up for it.
