"Why we love it: An amenity-filled property that sits near all the action The Highlights: - Amenities like four pools, a treetop spa, and an open-air yoga studio - An on-site diving school and expedition boat - The sunset views from the Bay View rooms The Review: Located near St. George’s University, the all-inclusive True Blue Bay Boutique Resort is also right on a marina and just a five-minute drive from the airport, putting it at the center of all the action. Though it doesn’t have its own beach, it does offer shuttles to Grand Anse, which is a mere 10 minutes away, plus there’s plenty else to do on property. There are four small but well-maintained pools; a spa that uses local ingredients like chocolate and nutmeg for its treatments; an open-air yoga studio with treetop views; and a top-notch dive school that offers quick courses as well as multi-day PADI certifications. Guests already certified to dive can take advantage of four dives per day included in their stay, while landlubbers can opt for rum and chocolate tastings, cooking classes, non-motorized watersports, and fun kids’ activities. When hunger strikes, head to on-site restaurant Dodgy Dock, which regularly hosts theme nights like Street Food, Romantic BBQ, and Cocoa Thursdays. Should you prefer to cook for yourself, accommodations here, which range from rooms to suites to villas, include kitchenettes and outdoor seating with epic views. Villas can even sleep up to six people and feature private plunge pools for added luxury."

9 Must-Try Dishes in Grenada - AFAR

"A lively, waterside venue at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort that draws the biggest crowds for its weekly street‑food night (especially Wednesdays), when vendors line the terrace with whole fried fish, roti, Asian eats and more; the event is festive, popular with Saint George’s University students, features live bands and plenty of dancing." - Terry Ward

I was excited to try the restaurant associated with this hotel because I had heard so many great things about the atmosphere, that the food was great and the vibes were upbeat and friendly. My experience took a serious nose dive that I just couldn’t recover from. There was a HUGE rat running in and out from under nearby tables. My friend noticed it before I did but didn’t say anything because she knew I would be completely freaked out. When the rat eventually scurried close to our table and I saw it myself, I was absolutely horrified. The waitstaff did try to calm me down and were kind in their response, but at that point I felt physically sick to my stomach and could not bring myself to eat the food I had ordered. Seeing a rat inside a restaurant—especially near dining tables—is unacceptable. I would never stay in a hotel were rats are freely running in and out of the dining areas. This completely ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I would never return to this place EVER!!

Very nice resort. Comfortable beds. Cleaning staff did a great job! Hotel staff was wonderful. Very nice setting. Pools are a challenge keeping leaves out. I like the water fall and “river” to wash sand and dirt off feet before entering the pool.

Loved our stay here. Our room was so spacious and well equipped with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the multiple pools and the ocean at a great price. The breakfast buffet and food was delicious, and service was quick and friendly! We stayed during Halloween and the kids events and decorations were so fun to enjoy. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept, would stay again!

Imagine arriving at this stunning bay-side resort in Grenada, all dressed up for a magical Christmas holiday... only to have your wife's favorite designer jacket vanish overnight. That's exactly what happened to us. CCTV cameras everywhere, keycard locks. Management ghosted our follow-up requests for weeks, denied any responsibility, and offered zero compensation. 3 months later: "Unable to locate relevant footage" and they never checked the keycard logs to see who entered our room. The resort's popular Wednesday Street Food Night at Dodgy Dock is open to the public, drawing large crowds. Stay alert and don't leave valuables unattended while grabbing delicious food from the buffet. It’s a lovely place, but the lack of genius support when something went missing was really frustrating. If it happens to you, file a police report with the Royal Grenada Police Force right away. That's your best shot at an investigation. Think twice before bringing valuables there.

Room and service very good. Food varies: Breakfast ok - ample selection, but some items only so so. Surprised fruit is mostly imported. Street food night is best food, but no oil down!!! Other food was or seems to be resort standard quality. Water sports experience confused. I was told to just go there when I wanted to, but staff were busy elsewhere and I waited over an hour. Finally learned that reservations needed, but no explanation as to how or when. I got my sail in anyhow by lucky chance.

This hotel is in an excellent location very close to St. George’s University and right next to Dodgy Dock and the Aquanauts scuba shop. We often walked to Container Park for meals, which offered a great variety of cuisine at reasonable prices.||Our room was comfortable and perfect for my husband and me. We stayed in a Coco Pod overlooking one of the pools, and it was just the right size. The kitchenette was well-equipped with everything we needed.||After a long day of travel, we treated ourselves to the on-site spa and had possibly the best foot massages of our lives it was the perfect way to unwind.||Dodgy Dock next door hosts events every night, which added a fun and lively atmosphere to the stay. We especially loved the local Food Truck Wednesday definitely worth checking out! It seemed like the whole town came out for it, and the food was fantastic.||The only downside was that the water went out once during our stay, and we couldn’t flush the toilet for about an hour. Other guests mentioned being without water for a few hours, and one poor girl even lost water mid-shower with shampoo still in her hair.||Overall, the location is fantastic especially if you’re a diver or visiting someone at the university. Between the great food, friendly vibe, and relaxing spa, I’d absolutely stay here again.

This resort is at a prime location. Close to the airport, beaches and some lovely restaurants. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Their dining was very good, just wish they had more choices on the menu. The room had a kitchenette which is a great amenity. Clean cheerful environment. Fully recommend.
