True History Brewing

Incredible experience here. Delicious food and beer, this place is definitely worth ALL the hype. The kitchen did close between 3-5PM on this past Saturday. Very much assuming that’s a normal thing on a busy weekend, however didn’t see that advertised anywhere. Luckily made it in earlier enough to get a food order in. The bar is cozy as well, but be warned their seating is a few long tables where you will be sat directly beside other parties. Not that big of a deal but if you’re wanting an intimate dining experience it’s not going to be here. For sure adds to the vibe though. Other than that again, delicious food and beer. Can’t wait to see this place have all the continued success.

I love it here. Staff are friendly, every dish on the menu is delish, unique, and fresh. Beers are creative. Atmosphere is cosy and the patio is the best in the area for a summer drink or meal outside. I love the fact that the patio is on the side street and there are tons of plants surrounding it. Great spot

Great newer Brewery with traditional Australian food from the kitchen. The beer is mostly classic European styles with an emphasis on lagers. Worth going out of your way if you like that style. Some of the best lagers in the city and they tap a French keg every Friday! Fass bier!

Eastern European inspired food that seemed really authentic. Some of the best microbrew beer I've had in the city. Staff forgot about us for a bit for some reason but definitely made up for it with a free round. Definitely recommended for a beer or food. Nice patio, too.

This fine brewery offers some really nice beers that are brewed fresh on site. Trestle tables encourage patrons to interact with one another as the world flows by on the other side of the large windows looking out onto St. Claire Avenue. On every visit staff have been friendly, warm and welcoming. Although I have yet to try the food the smells wafting from the kitchen are absolutely mouth watering! If you enjoy good beer and good company then this is the place for you. Keep up the great work!

My oh my! AWESOMENESS!!! Visited for my first time (with BF) on 22/12/2025 about 7:45pm. There was a short 15 min wait as the place was packed; but we didn't mind. Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful in explaining the menu items. We're both Caribbean and this culinary experience was completely new to us both. We had the beef cheek goulash, pork schnitzel, mac & cheese, potato salad, and fries. THEE best fries i have EVER had in my life! The beef cheek was so so sooooo tender. It melted like butter! The mac & cheese was easily in the top 3 I've ever had. Pricewise...it was certainly on the higher end but we didnt mind treating ourselves during the holidays. (Wouldn't pay those prices every weekend.) The atmosphere was a great vibe with music in the background and happy patron chatter filling the air.

This brewery had a small but great selection of European beers (German, Polish). I got the one called “Stones” and it was great, refreshing, light and had a slight sweetness which I loved. We didn’t get any food, but some tables got some and it looked very good. The food also looked German/Austrian style, and the decor in the restaurant was cozy with cottage-core vibes.

My favourite new brewery in the city. The beer is great. The food is fantastic and the service is terrific. They're friendly and knowledgeable and help create such a great atmosphere. I love the whole vibe of the place from the custom wallpaper to the decorations. I'm a huge fan.
