True North Adventure Cruises

Our third adventure on the True North, this time the Coast & Coral was as expected, wonderful. The experience was amazing, from the Kimberley Coast to the Rowley Shoals. The whole crew focused on all the passengers having a great time, sight seeing, helicopter tours and picnics, fishing, snorkeling, swimming in amazing safe waterholes and more. The on board crew ensured our dining was first class, our accommodation always clean and comfortable and so enjoyable. The naturalists educated us about indigenous history, marine life and plant life. Cannot wait for our next adventure with True North

We cruised True North 2 over 900 NM through the Kimberly. Immaculate ship, fabulous crew, delicious food and drinks, world class fishing with expert crew, and the most beautiful scenery and wildlife that can only been experienced from the sea. The crew excelled at creating individual experiences at every opportunity. They clearly love working for TN. We were extremely grateful for the opportunity to sail with Skipper Mick and his team.

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, but my recent journey on the True North Ultimate Kimberley Cruise stands out as one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. This was more than a cruise — it was a true adventure made unforgettable by the exceptional crew, world-class hospitality, and unique access to one of Australia’s most spectacular regions. From the moment we stepped onboard, we were looked after by a crew who were not only professional but deeply passionate about what they do. Captain Jayden and Cruise Director Tess led with warmth, expertise, and a sense of fun that set the tone for an incredible voyage. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of every moment. The onboard experience was outstanding — comfortable, welcoming, and filled with thoughtful touches. The culinary offerings by Chefs Hannah and Jasper were a highlight in themselves. Each meal was beautifully crafted, featuring fresh ingredients and creative menus that rivalled fine dining — all served in some of the most remote and breathtaking locations in the world. A major highlight was the access to fishing experiences that simply aren’t possible on larger cruise ships. Whether it was chasing barramundi or casting a line in remote creeks, the thrill of catching (and sometimes releasing) fish in such pristine wilderness added another exciting layer to the journey. The daily excursions and surprises kept us constantly amazed. Often there was more than one surprise a day — whether it was a waterfall swim, a beach picnic, an Indigenous rock art site, or spotting wildlife we hadn’t expected to see. The crew’s ability to pivot and deliver these spontaneous, perfectly executed moments really impressed me and my fellow guests. And then there’s the helicopter. With Pilot Tom, we experienced the Kimberley from the air in a way that’s impossible to describe. The heli trips were breathtaking, giving us access to remote gorges, waterfalls, and wilderness that few ever get to see. My heli-camping experience was the absolute pinnacle — spending a night under the stars in complete serenity was something I’ll never forget. This was more than a holiday — it was a truly transformative experience. If you're looking to explore the Kimberley in depth, with comfort, authenticity, and adventure, True North is in a league of its own. Highly recommended and already dreaming of the next voyage!

The True North cruise to Cenderwasih Bay was probably the best cruise of my life. An amazing experience with a very professional Captain and crew who were constantly looking after us. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you have the opportunity take a trip with True North. You won't regret it.

MOM Uncharted. Lyn and I had the most wonderful experience during this trip.While visiting some Islands that have not had tourist visit them before. We found that they gave us the most outstanding welcome, with out any previous warning they showed us their tribal dancing, offered us refreshments, invited us to join in their games and showed us all around their village. We visited six beautiful Island on our travels and an Atoll, we made the most of the adventure by swimming, snorkeling and fishing, where Lyn caught her first fish which was enormous! and she was very proud. Simon and Bosco our guides were very helpful visiting the Islands first to see if the Chief would welcome us to the Island as they both spoke the language. As it was the first time that the True North had visited these Islands Captain Gavin had to proceed with great caution, and had the tender boats to guide the ship through the shallow waters and to avoid rocks. While on the ship the crew were outstanding and the food was to die for.Whatever you needed the crew were there to help you. We totally enjoyed this trip and will be telling all our friends and family that it is a trip not to be missed. Thank you True North.

My husband & I recently travelled on the True North Kimberley Ultimate cruise. We enjoyed every single minute and had the best holiday we could have ever hoped to have. Every day was another awe inspiring adventure, we saw incredible scenery, wildlife and did lots of fishing. The staff and crew were just terrific - fun, cheerful, kind and always helpful, ensuring every thing ran smoothly. The food was delicious and we met so many wonderful people. We will definitely travel with True North again and we would love to do this trip again. We are so lucky to have such a magnificent country to explore and thank you to True North for making it a truly memorable experience.

Just an amazing trip. Customer service from all the staff is second to none. Helicopter flights are a must do. Waterfalls were absolutely pumping. The sights, sounds, dining, people, in fact everything was excellent and exceeded expectations. Even the fishing with a cheeky Barra or 5 😁

This is an amazing adventure. The crew are brilliant, enthusiastic young mainly Aussies who love what they do and look after the passengers so well. The food is first class. Don't miss the helicopter picnics. Fishing is fantastic. Could not recommend any trip more highly.
