TRUFFLE MUSEUM by Karlic

We were the first tour of the day - tried to avoid too much sun & heat. The place is beautiful and lovingly setup. Lots to learn - the history of truffle hunting, the importance of dogs in the process and the value to the local cuisine. The staff are high energy, engaging and professional. The dogs are cute as well as productive. The food preparation was fun & educational. The amount of food and dishes to try were amazing. Of course, they serve an endless supply of their house made wines (red & white). You’ll see their grapes being grown when you are out on the tour. Highly recommend!

The museum is truly an unforgettable experience. It is beautiful and full of diverse content. You can smell all kinds of truffles and get to know their history, present and future. The Karlić family has put a lot of effort into the look and content. It can be seen that the museum was made with a lot of love and I recommend history to everyone. It is simply a special experience not to be missed.

One od the most special museum in the world. For a moment I really felt like I was in the past. Although the space is small, it can be seen that a lot of effort and love has been invested in it for the most prized mushroom in the world. 🍄🐕

Great interior, excellent storytelling. The owner was filled with patience as he was explaining the secret world of the elusive underground treasure, the truffle. It was a time well spent and deserves another visit. Thank you Karlic family.
