Truffle Pigs Bistro & Lodge

Went to the bistro for an early dinner after hiking to Wapta Falls and found this to be an awesome hidden gem. We ordered many different items and would like to come back and try the rest. I wouldn’t describe it as regional cuisine but rather unique! I only took a picture of the ramen but my favorite was the Mac and cheese. Everything was very fresh and surprisingly came out quickly. As we finished up at 6p, the dining room really filled out so perhaps consider reservations. The decor is really unique as well with art, funny signs, and interesting sculptures. Definitely will come back in the future.

Coming here in August was such a treasured memory! The food was incredible, customer service was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing. Can be a bit of a wait if it’s busy but it’s always worth it!

Always great food, service and experience! The bistro has been a favourite of my family for years - both in the old location as well as in the current location. The menu and quality of the food and service never disappoint. Recently, my mom and I needed a place to stay on our trip through the Rockies, and were so excited to have the opportunity to book a room here for the night. Although we had high expectations, we were still surprised by the attention to detail at every turn. From the in-floor heating to Truffle Pigs chocolates left for us to the quirky and candid voice used in the in-room communications, every little piece just elevated the experience further. Other "little" things that we noticed as we went, that really made our stay special: -the instructions and setup that prepared us for a potential power outage -the deep bathtub! -the Hog Wash soap in the bathroom -the colour scheme and textures of the fabrics chosen throughout Our stay was on October 26. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Bistro. We would recommend both to anyone!

This little restaurant is really worth to try! Food is excellent and they have variety on the menu. We ordered ramen and the big rig burger, comes up pretty fast and portion is good too. Ramen tastes creamy and bold with the sliced beef and fried dumplings taste really delicious. Burger is cook to perfect juicy beef patties and veggie is fresh. Especially the soup comes with it surprise us very yummy. If you go by Emerald Lake don’t miss to visit this small town and have meal at the restaurant! 10/10 perfect meal!

Love Truffle Pigs! I always stop when travelling through Field. Their food is fantastic always high quality and a great menu. The building is a really nice little Inn and Restaurant in a very quaint mountain rail town. Highly suggest if you are travelling hwy 1 between Lake Louise AB and Golden BC.

This review is for the bistro. The lodge rooms were booked! We have stayed there before and they are excellent. This year we very much enjoyed another excellent lunch. The absolute highlight was us each getting the most amazing apple pie a la mode! We cannot stop talking about it! Thank you to the cook, staff and wonderful owner Jen! Bought a sweatshirt downstairs so I shall keep a nice souvenir…until next September!

We stopped here a couple of years ago and was just looking at the pics from our visit. The food and service were excellent and there was so much to look at while we were waiting for our food. The food was delicious and served in an expedient manner.

Wow. Who Knew! Field BC has a reataurant that can compete with the big cities! Our group of 4 had a rez for supper and such delicious entrees. Steak sandwich, Monster Mac, Cod dish and a Stoner Naan dish. All were great but the latter did not disappoint! I highly recommend any of the dishes. Cozy, close seating, attentive servers and fantastic dishes!
