Truly Sichuan - 巴椒

For about a few months now, Ive been craving this restaurant. I saw images online and the reviews. Food looked very tasty but the reviews were mildly ok. I came with a few friends to try out the food. I gotta say, the food was decent. I think it lacked the flavor and the substance I was looking for in a place like this, understanding its food from Sichuan, I was expecting for of an authentic taste from the dish, yet instead just lacked some flavors. Could’ve been the salt or the broth. My buddy decided to order a pancake, now that was delicious. That had the more flavor to it, in small pieces, you eat with one bite, definetly melted in my mouth, I was impressed with the texture of the dish too, soft yet crunchy which was perfect. The service was not the best. My friends and I when we came, weren’t welcomed like other customers, I asked for the table and was sat next to the window, which isn’t the problem, but rather the service felt very demanding and unwelcoming. After taking some time for the menu, I mentioned how a lot of the options were very good, and asked for a recommendation, the recommendation the lady gave was very disinterest, even brought up of the idea of like “maybe you won’t like this”. She acted like my order wouldn’t matter to her at all plus didn’t care about the idea of wanting to have customers try new things. I took up on her idea however and decided to try out the Seafood Noodle Soup. She even served the water, just dropped it off our table, didn’t make any eye contact and walked off. Even the most disappointing part of all this service, we walked out, said thank you, completely ignored us, didn’t look at us, dint acknowledge us whatsoever. The service was just not good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was mild. There were a lot of flies and even dead flies in the window which was unpleasant to say the least. The smell of the place was very nice! I could smell the food cooking, that definetly made me hungry. Here’s the thing, no music and the lights were very oddly dimmed. It definetly made the place and the vibe feel very depressing. Overall, this restaurant is not the best, it’s only solid. I would not recommend coming to this restaurant as the service was very disappointing and the atmosphere of the place as well. This place seems to be better if you were taking out food, I would consider avoiding this place to dine in.

We drove 30 minutes for this restaurant on New Year’s Eve after planning our dinner here for over a week and looking forward to it so much. Unfortunately, it turned into a huge disappointment. When we arrived, the restaurant was not full. There were several empty tables, so this was not a situation where the dining room was overwhelmed. Still, every staff member seemed completely focused on takeout orders only. A host seated us, and then we were completely ignored. No water, no one taking our order, and no one checking on us at all. My husband eventually got frustrated and left. My child and I even asked if someone would take our order, but we were still ignored. My daughter was especially disappointed because she had been looking forward to her favorite soup dumplings all day. What made it worse was that even when we left, no one noticed or tried to stop us. We understand New Year’s Eve can be busy, but this restaurant clearly chose to prioritize takeout orders over customers who actually showed up to dine in — even when tables were available. This experience ruined what was supposed to be a special New Year’s Eve dinner for our family.

This was takeout so no atmosphere rating. Ready, as promised, in 15 minutes but food was disappointing. Pieces of eggplant were undercooked, almost raw. Rice noodle dish was good, but spices were not thoroughly mixed in the dish, leaving some birds bland or overly spicy. Expected better.

Delicious Sichuan style foods!! Tasty and spicy 🔥 of course you can let them know to tone down the spice level so you can still enjoy the dish. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I've been here many times and will be coming back for many many more.

I love eating spicy and this place hits just the right spot. It’s spicy enough to keep your mouth watery but not too spicy to numb your mouth. My favorite dish is the spicy live fish and the Tea Smoked duck. The portions are huge and the price is cheaper if not the same than the other restaurants around. They opened three weeks ago and this is already my third time. Definitely will continue coming back. I would recommend parking near the residential area because this area in Ridgewood gets really busy during the evenings on weekends.

Love the food. Service is usually somewhat slow but otherwise fine. My issue is i saw male employee didn’t wash hands after leaving bathroom cabin, please fix it before someone gets sick. He saw me and still didn’t bother washing, seems like a culture thing…

Pickled fish - Full of Sichuan pepper flavor. We ordered it w/ fresh fish $8 extra cost but it worths! It’s big enough for 3 people. Hand-ripped cabbage, it’s crunchy and even a little vegetable sweet. Less oil than other Chinese style restaurants and we do not have to drink more water after the meal. It’s our 2nd time to come, will definitely come back again and bring more friends!

Food is good We got chicken, eggplant, soup and scallions pancakes. Eggplant with garlic sauce was very good. Friendly staff. Place needs to be renovated.

The spicy pork soup dumplings are delicious, but it was not spicy. Chick-fil-a's spicy chicken sandwich is spicier. I would order this again, though I do think it could use some more complexity to the flavor. The crispy duck(28) was a pleasant flavor, but it was not crispy. I would not order this again. Though it is one of the better items for protein. The beef pancake(11) is delicious, it came out like a rolled up pancake. I'd order this again.

I stayed on the appetizer side the first time, opting for cucumber with garlic and the mysterious Spicy Arctic Bay, which turned out to be a delightfully oceanic surf clam. For the second visit I got the excellent mapo tofu. This is fiery for sure but the heat is more well-rounded than usual, and there was just the right ratio of tofu, sauce and vegetables. It would take decades to get to everything on this menu but I'll try.

Didn't have high expectations for Truly Sichuan, but this restaurant's mix of Sichuan and Chinese food was surprisingly decent. We strolled in on a beautiful Friday evening at 5:45 and the restaurant was fairly empty as you can imagine before 6pm, but, once again, to my surprise it got quite busy by the time we left. I didn't expect this restaurant to be extremely popular in Ridgewood, but the fact that their menu serves Americanized Chinese food was a smart move because I felt a majority of the customers were ordering EXACTLY THAT. WE, on the other hand, tried to steer clear of the Americanized Chinese food and tried to order a few of their more popular entrees here. First, we ordered the Pork Soup Dumplings and Scallion Pancake to start. Oddly, there were only 5 pieces in the order of soup dumplings for $13. Typically at restaurants, at least 6 are served in an order and, in some cases, even 8! 5 seemed stingy. Also, quite steep for just 5 pieces, but, nevertheless the quality was better than I would have thought. The Scallion Pancake was OK. Nothing spectacular, but it was a nice, simple appetizer. For entrees, we got the Chicken w. Bok Choy (mostly for our kids) and then went all out by ordering the Truly Sichuan Mala Hot Pot / Spicy Pot and Crispy Duck Special. The Sichuan Pot was hugeee and had lots and lots of stuff in there - chicken, veggies, lots of lotus root, bean sprouts and shrimp. As you can imagine, the pot was red all over with spices and we were not ready for it AT ALLLL. The lotus roots actually numbed our mouth after we ate them! They weren't very spicy, but something in the ingredients completely numbed us. It was an extremely strange feeling and sensation and made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable, but like the troopers that we were, we ATE ON! My wife loved the pot and the food in it, but I thought it was just OK. The Crispy Duck was quite disappointing for me - dry, not very big and did not look appetizing at all. It was sadly cut up and plopped on top of lettuce. I definitely was not a fan for $25. As for the Chicken w Bok Choy, it was good, but, once again, not the greatest dish you'll ever have, but it was solid. Could the food have been better? Definitely. Could it have been worse? Yes, I didn't have high expectations. But, it came out to be decent and edible, which was more than I could have imagined. I didn't think we were going to order the Sichuan Pot or Crispy Duck, which were quite pricey. Would we come back? Ehhhhh. One time was good though.

Went for a weekend lunch after a long time. We arrived exactly at noon when they open, whole place was empty. The condition of the restaurant was little underwhelming, our table was so wobbly we had shove few napkins and chopsticks under it to stabilize it. The menu looked the same from before. We ordered few of our favorite dishes. Crispy duck was so good with the duck sauce. The fish fillet over spicy soup was favorite dish of the night for e. It had the citrus zest and kick of the Sichuan spice. Soup crab dumplings were super tasty as well. Overall it was a wonderful meal for the whole family. I was pleased to see they were able to maintain the taste and quality of their dishes.

Tried Truly Sichuan for the first time on a return trip to NJ. I had hi hopes for the restaurant but sadly the meal didn't meet up to my expectations. I had the hot and sour soup as an opener and the flavors and seasoning was off. My main course disappointed as well.

soup dumplings are very good. hot soup inside. fried rice was cooked well. buttery taste. dark meat chicken is used. the chicken with bok choy with chicken is a healthy ish dish i order often. they do it well. place was empty for a sunday night. service was quick. be careful to order in stages or ur food will come at once. typical chinese build out. clean establishment.

It had been a while since our last taste of Truly Sichuan, and I was really craving Chinese food, so we decided to place a takeout order. Like on our last experience, we completely adored the Singapore Rice Noodles, which were in a dry curry sauce. The thin noodles were mixed with shredded pork loin, shrimp, white meat chicken, and eggs. The light hint of spice made the dish a real winner. While this was on the more arid side, all of our other dishes were very saucy. First, there was the Chicken and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, which was great, but not very garlicky. In fact, the sauce was not substantially different from the general brown sauce on the Sauteed Chicken with Broccoli. Another similarity was that both dishes had tender chicken and fresh vegetables. Lastly, the Shrimp Lo Mein unconventionally used heavier Udon noodles and had a thicker brown sauce than we had expected. However, it was still a very delicious version of the popular meal. Truly Sichuan provided one of the best Chinese experiences in the area. While we enjoyed everything, I can say for certain that we will get the Singapore Rice Noodles again. We also plan to try the Ant on the Tree and Scallion Beef with Sweet Miso, as they also sound intriguing.

Tried pickled mustard fish this time. It's good. Definitely has some heat to it. Comes with rice noodles (clear noodles). You can adjust the spicy level. I ordered lowest level still a little spicy for me.

Disappointed. While the soup dumplings were good, the rest of our meal was not. And the service was terrible. One person running around helping guests at the table, take out and phone orders. And our food was cold. We will not be coming back.

We ordered Braised Fish, Sauteed String Beans and Pork Dandan noodles via Uber and couldn't be more disappointed. The restaurant offers 4-5 dollars for a food picture, which is the red flag I ignored. The carrier got the order less than 9 minutes after we placed the order; that is a huge concern. When the food got delivered, we noticed: 1. Pork danda noodles are made with rice noodles, which is a big mistake!! It's supposed to be with minced pork and salted vegetables, but barely any pork. 2. Sauteed String Beans are supposed to be dry, but you can call it a soup. 3. The fish is saggy. Overall, very disappointed.

Authentic and legitimate Chinese food. As I mentioned in some of my other reviews, there are a few different types of Chinese restaurants in Northern Jersey. There are Americanized Chinese takeout places. These places are usually small and primarily takeout. Their menus are a white tri-fold with red text. They offer orange chicken, kung pao chicken and beef with broccoli. And sometimes sushi, which isn't even Chinese. There are Korean style Chinese places. They are in Palisades Park or Fort Lee, run by Koreans, speak Korean to you, and offer jajangmun (noodles with a meat sauce). Then there are places like Truly Sichuan. They offer real Chinese food. The place is not perfect - the scallion pancake was overdone, the soup dumplings had thick skin. But overall the food has authentic tastes and spices, and everyone enjoyed it. If the restaurant was a little closer to us, we would definitely come back a lot.

We loved the fish!! So flavorful and huge portion so we brought it back home to enjoy the next day. Be careful not to eat the chili seeds lol We were able to get seated very quickly for a weekend lunch. Plenty of seatings too as restaurant is spacious.

The food here is the best Chinese around Ridgewood, especially the General Tso's chicken and fried rices.

Wonderful food options! Not your usual chinese restaurant. Lots of interesting options on the menu. We had a terrific meal. Note: we got all of our meals with NO hot spice. Steamed Chicken dumplings were delicous. Classic preparation with a thin outer dough and a good amount of tasty stuffing. Pork Buns equally delicous. Thick outer dough with a generous amount of tasty minced pork stuffing. General Tso's Chicken was another classically prepared meal with very tender chicken and a very generous portion. I think enough for 2 people. Dan Dan Noodles was the only meal I would give a ding to. I found it way too oily and damn if I could find any minced pork. But it did have a nice flavor. Our female server was so very sweet and accommodating. Double checked our order and answered all of our questions. We went on a cold Thursday night and they weren't busy. She was the only one working in the dining room taking calls and serving. She handled it beautifully. Just wish the parking in Ridgewood was easier!!!!!

All the food is so amazing. The service is friendly but kind of slow. The atmosphere isn't great but it's never been crowded. My wife is obsessed with the wonton soup and I think about the shrimp dry pot sixty seven times a day, everyday.

We ordered the Beef and Broccoli, General Tso chicken, chicken soup dumplings and sesame noodles- the noodles being the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately we received the beef and broccoli cold. We asked for this to be heated up where they just put it in the microwave and served it again cold. The chicken soup dumplings were still pink as well. The place reeks of grease, I don't think I'll be returning.

Very tasty with large portions! Service was attentive and let us know the spice level on dishes. The general Taos chicken and chow fun were amazing. Nice decor and very clean. We will be back.

Food was prepared quite quickly. Quality was alright (i.e. level setting expectations for this type of food in a suburban setting) Waitress was pleasant, attentive, and refilled water without asking; primary gripe was the tacked on 20% service fee which seemed purposefully "hidden," and not mentioned at any point until payment. Whereas the receipt still has further suggestions for gratuity. So you face the awkward predicament of assuming the waitstaff "knows" that their gratuity is part of the 20%, or wondering whether you'll get chased after you leave the restaurant on the basis of not tipping beyond the service fee percentage. Restaurant should just raise menu prices (which were already a bit on the high side), if the POV is that the staff isn't being paid enough with current pricing.

Delicious food. Great spot for a large group. Soup dumplings are our favorite. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Happy to have a local Sichuan spot! The wontons in chili oil are banging and a must have every time. My family has eaten tons of wontons, and even the toughest critic admitted these were legit. Additional fan favorites are the dan dan noodles, Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce, and crispy fish with crispy onion. The chow fun was most disappointing - clumpy and dry - but that might be a factor of having it to-go. Overall still happy with the value and quality of food. Will be back!

This place is a mess, I cant believe I even decided to stay. We started with cold sesame noodles, which had way too much garlic. way to much my dining companion had chicken chow fun which had absolutely no flavor and thin slimy chicken. Myself I had general Taos tofu, which lacked sauce. there were four tables that left when we got there and the tables were filled with dirty dishes, which were still on the table as I walked out. Clean Up!!! After taking a look at what a mess this place was i decides to pass on using the bathroom. the service, barely any. we split the check in half 50/50 yet they charges one of us 50% and the other 100%. I hates to leave a tip. will not be returning ever!!

The food was delicious, the portions were generous and we had a great time. A wonderful, unpretentious, family-friendly restaurant with good service. Will definitely go back

As authentic as it gets. Incredible food, friendly staff, and quiet enough for a great date. The soup dumplings are my go-to.

My wife doesn't eat spicy food so I didn't get to ty anything truly Sichuan (pepper), lol, but we did get two orders of pork XLB, soup dumplings, and the beef chow fun. Soup dumpling skin was really good and hot the spot. The skin was nice and thin but didn't break at the slightest agitation. Good sign The pork and soup taste was very flavorful and they came piping hot. The beef chow fun texture was spot on, dry and had that wok smoke taste, but could have used a tad more smokiness to really feel like you're in Chinatown. A little on the pricier side but you are in Ridgewood so it is comparable. A pot of green tea is $6 but they refill the water so it was nice to share the tea. Give this place a shot if you're looking for some good soup dumplings! I will have to try the fish in chili oil next time!

Came for an early Saturday night dinner to beat the crowds. Everything was delicious, especially the Dan Dan Noodles and the cucumber salad.

I got the mapo tofu and shredded pork w garlic sauce. Both dishes were so flavorful and delicious. The mapo tofu was spicy and the sauce paired so well with the rice. The shredded pork had a kick to it as well and I loved the crunch of the veggies. I did feel the portion sizes were a bit smaller than I would have liked, especially when it came to the amount of rice that was provided. For a mapo tofu dish that is so perfectly saucey, I would have loved more rice. Other than that, the quality of the food here was excellent. I would definitely come back here again or maybe do take out so I could make some additional rice on the side haha Also wanted to note how amazing the service was. We were initially seated next to a really big party, but the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to move to a table that was a bit further away. I really appreciated that!

Huge disappointment. My wife and I ordered Kang Pao chicken and beef chow fun and we are so disappointed with taste,,color, and texture of beef that was so chewy that we actually wondered if it was beef. The kang pao chicken was bits of fried dough. I didn't taste any real chicken either. The vegetables were all the same brown color and texture. The oily after taste leaves your mouth with greasy film that didn't taste too good. I had to drink coffee at home to wash out the icky taste. Big disappointment for the price and location.

Food was amazing and the service by the teenage boy was exceptional. They asked us if we wanted more and if everything was okay and they took good care of us. The environment was great as well. Will be returning!

I ordered the very spicy Chongqing. It was good but over the top spice. The shrimp lo mein had no shrimp but the noodles were fresh, pan dumplings fresh and good. I would have to go again. However the parking is really bad. Lot of restaurants on the street with one public lot and street parking.

I would give this place five stars for the food alone if not for the shady practice of sneaking tips onto the bill without saying anything with the hopes of being double tipped. Not cool.

I have found a new fav Sichuan Chinese spot in NJ in this pandemic. So far I used to go to the city to satisfy my Sichuan food cravings but now Truly Sichuan has everything I need and more. This rating is only for the two items I have tried so far which is Mapo tofu and bokchoy with garlic. I intend to visit this place again for their Dan Dan noodles. In terms of food it was freshly made with oil in proportion not too much and not too less just right. I loved the bok choy with garlic so much and I think no place in the city can beat Truly Sichuan's. The Mapo tofu was good too but not great as I didn't feel that numbing feeling after having a few bites which is true for most of the places in the city. I think they did not put the Sichuan peppercorns or used a different kind? I liked Mapo tofu but it doesn't compare to the one I have in the city. I would definitely come back and try their noodles or other vegetarian options on the menu.

Wish I could give this place a 5-start but unfortunately, the food wasn't as amazing as I was expecting it to be... They had soup dumplings which drew my attention since this was a local restaurant compared to the places I usually go to in Fort Lee- soup dumplings as take out is not ideal... def would've loved to try this in restaurant when it's fresh. We ordered the scallion pancakes, pork soup dumplings, chengdu noodles, dan dan noodles with minced pork, and chicken and broccoli with a side of white rice. Scallion pancakes- nice and crispy, just the way I like it! This would've definitely been my favorite dish fresh. My staple go to appetizer whenever I go to Chinese restaurants! Soup dumplings- I've had better at places in Fort Lee... barely any soup inside the dumpling and there wasn't anything spectacular about the flavor of the soup. Definitely a little disappointing, but I'd probably still order it since it's available on the menu Chengdu noodles- would not recommend this! Cold appetizer mixed with some spice but the entire dish had a weird after taste. Noodles were ok - I couldn't really put my tongue on what the weird after taste was; whether it was from the hot sauce or the noodle itself. Maybe it was soaked in the hot sauce too long that made the dish taste funny. But I wouldn't order this again... Dan Dan noodles with minced pork- love me some warm noodles! The peanut sauce complimented this dish really well mixed with the noodles and bok choy. I ate this as my main course and it was more than enough with all the other sides that I got! Highly recommend this dish. Chicken and Broccoli- typical staple for people who aren't open to exploring other dishes (like my husband..haah!). Really not much to say about this dish since it's literally chick and broccoli and it can be very hard to mess this up. Flavoring was good, rice was fresh, and had leftovers. Leftovers tasted just as good as it was fresh with a good amount of both chicken and broccoli I'd recommend this place if you're in the area looking for some "authentic" Sichuan dishes. Prices are a little high but it's expected when you're dining in Ridgewood. I'd like to come back again whenever indoor dining is available again to try everything fresh!

Service was awful. Food was poor. They left a key ingredient out of a dish and did not care.

where to start. Newly hired waiter/host right know what was in a dish I was considering. Food cake out room temp and some pieces were cold. Simply napkins. Dumplings came out on plate with holes on bottom so sauce spread on to table. Did I mention the cold food? Oh yeh, when we go there there were two tables next to us that hadnt been cleared. When we left they were still there. Even the checks were still there. We didn't finish.

A restaurant I dream about daily. I came here about a year ago missing authentic, home style Chinese food. There's a dish called Xiang Gan Rou Si (Shredded Pork and Bean Curd) my dad was craving that wasn't on the menu. We casually mentioned it to the hostess, and the chef offered and specially made the dish for us. NEVER IN THE WORLD HAD I HAD SUCH AN AMAZING BEAN CURD DISH EVEN IN CHINA OR MADE BY THE HOMEBRED MAINLAND CITIZENS. I HAVE EATEN IN VILLAGES AND IN THE HOMES OF AUTHENTIC CHEFS, AND YET THE BEST DISH IVE EVER HAD IS IN NEW JERSEY?! The chef was so kind enough to even tell us what ingredients he put in it and how to make it. I moved away from the New England states, and if I had one wish I would move this restaurant and this chef away with me. 10/10 I yearn to come here again.

I only ever ordered takeout from here, but the food is delicious! Great flavor in every dish we've tried. Everything is made with care and packed exceptionally well. My go-to for local Chinese restaurant.

The food was good; however they also had one server who was taking care of all customers and also the cashier, front desk, cleaner, charge of take outs. I truly felt bad for the server.

This is not a review on their food! I called to see if they deliver to my town; the woman said yes. So I looked over the menu and tried to call back to order when she answered again she said sorry no delivery. I mentioned it said on their menu they deliver, she said no it's wrong. They DO NOT DELIVER

Lovely experience here. Truly Sichuan offers authentic Chinese food! We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the food. Even their menus were really cool. We highly recommend the Soup Dumplings appetizer! It was so good and two orders of it could honestly be a meal of its own. They really lived up to all their achievements. They weren't stingy about their portions and they don't hold back on their flavors either! Great place to indulge on spicy, garlicky, authentic Chinese dishes. This place is absolutely above and beyond "Chinese" food we're all familiar with all over the US. I'd have to disagree with anyone who says it's the same as typical Chinese take-out. It's far from it! The staff was also super accommodating and the lady who we assume is the owner herself was very welcoming and gave us some informative tidbits about New Jersey after finding out we weren't local to the state. She exuded a lot of love, pride, and passion for her restaurant. :) If only we lived nearby, we would come back again!

The food was amazing, we had the cucumber salad, chicken fried rice, veggie dumplings with the house sauce, the beef soup & the chrysanthemum tea. The server was adorable

Ordered seamless and got the promo of free lemon mascarpone cake. I was glad I did. The mascarpone cake was actually the highlight of the meal. So light and fluffy and perfect lemon flavor! I wanted to try the Mapo Tofu (no Pork) - it was too mouth numbing for me. I was a little disappointed but maybe it's authentic that way? The dan dan noodles and steamed pork dumplings with chili were spicy but good - I think the mapo tofu ruined my tastebuds that night and the spice lingered as I moved between items. It was almost inedible it was so spicy and made my mouth feel funny. I tried to stick to just the tofu and not eat the sauce. Scallion pancake was tasty but not that crispy once I got it. My husband enjoyed the Twice Cooked Pork Belly.

Friendly and attentive staff. The price point is a little bit higher than other restaurants I've been too but probably on par for the area it is in. The interior is very oriental and looks very nice, we were able to sit by the window which was nice. The soup dumplings were a bit larger than most places and very flavorful but you only get 5 in an order.

i tried the soup dumplings and they truly stand out. The service was great and the dude was quick and on the point.

Located in the downtown of Ridgewood - great location but very rough parking situation (for the downtown in general). Truly delicious sichuan food - I loved every bite of every dish we ordered. We ordered takeout: dan dan noodles, steamed chicken dumplings, and the braised fish in chili sauce. The dan dan noodles had a light sesame flavor and was a tad on the dry/bland side - would be significantly better if it had some of that sweet chili oil in it. The steamed chicken dumpling did not specify in the description, but it did come with that addictive sweet chili oil and were terrific. The braised fish in chili sauce had a different red chili sauce that had more of an authentic peppercorn flavor to it - the overall dish was more like a stew. Overall, great food - definitely on the pricey side but that's reflective of the area in general and worth it for the delicious food!

The restaurant is very spacious and can accommodate lots of people. I can see that it gets busy, it's the resident Chinese restaurant of ridgewood. vegetarian options are not the best but they're ok, we had lomein and garlic sauce broccoli.

Food was very tasty, not greasy, and very flavorful. We ordered the crispy Sichuan fish and sautéed greens. The dishes were out and ready for us within 10 min. We are looking forward to trying more dishes. The service was also excellent. The waitress checked in with us multiple times throughout our dinner. We will be returning.

Nice people and place but too salty and the 20% service fee tacked on kinda sucked. Would be good to tell people in advance...

We had an amazing meal at Truly Sichuan! The wonton soup was the best I've ever had, dumplings were delicious and the beef fried rice was outstanding! Definitely recommend! Authentic and fresh!

Unsure what changed here since quarantine, but the food and service is no longer good. My parents had an awful experience as well. Maybe once upon a time this was the spot, but no more.
