We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Truman Hotel.|The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and in room amenities were sufficient. The air conditioning worked perfectly and enabled us to control the temperature for a good night's sleep. |The employees are a valued resource at this hotel and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. Housekeeping does an amazing job and the groundskeepers/maintenance personnel kept the courtyard in top shape. |The highlight is the courtyard and pool area. Multiple comfortable lounge chairs surround the pool, which is warm and relaxing with the water temperature close to that of a bathtub. |A continental breakfast is included each morning with muffins, yogurt, coffee and juice. Crescents are usually available daily. The coffee is good for a hotel. In the evenings there is complementary wine by the pool.|The hotel is conveniently located one block off of Duval St. While the Truman is not a luxury hotel, it is a cute, clean, and relaxing boutique hotel that I would highly recommend.

Pleasant surprise! I had not stayed here before so I did not know what to expect. It’s a great hotel. Our sweet room was large and spacious and overlooked the pool. It was clearly new/updated. Shout out to the breakfast woman who was a pleasure to see every morning when you wake up.Location is closer to the southern part of the island. I prefer the other end but that’s a personal thing I would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, just a couple of blocks from Duval Street and walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the included breakfast is very good. Unfortunately our most recent stay was somewhat ruined by a large and very noisy group who pretty much took over the pool. Clearly they were enjoying themselves but appeared to have little respect for hotel guests outside of their group, with their shouting and very loud conversations. This would not deter us from booking the Truman again but it most definitely ruined what was to be a relaxing few days.

What a fabulous time we had! We were a family of 6 in 3 separate rooms. Every room was beautiful and well laid out and very generous size. Lovely views of pool too. The breakfast is absolutely fine, but get there early if you want a chocolate or almond croissant as these go first. You can also get cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast or bagels with tea coffee or juice. |Although there is no bar throughout the day, a lovely fruit infused water is provided all day and at 5pm there is happy hour free red or white wine. ||The hotel was very clean and water and free keylime sweets were left by bed in evenings....so lovely 😍 ||There is a CVS supermarket opposite hotel to buy alcohol or treats so can have these things around pool if you wish. ||Pool was very warm indeed! Don't expect to cool down in there 🫣 ||Staff were very friendly and attentive.||Really close to Duval street and walking distance to everything. ||Beautiful hotel and will definitely come back if visiting key west.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel in November. The location was nice- about a block from Duval Street- and very quiet. Rooms were pretty nice, but I don't feel like the beds or pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was a very simple selection you'd expect to see at a Residence Inn or similar hotel chain, and they ran out of hot croissants with an hour left (out of 2...) Noise was a bit of a downside- walls were thin, so we could hear muffled voices pretty easily in the rooms next door, as well as those having breakfast outside of our room/near the pool in the mornings. It wasn't terrible, but definitely noticeable if you're sensitive to that. We enjoyed the complimentary treats provided by the cleaners every day, and having 24/7 access to the front desk if we needed it. Pretty pricey for some of these details and being off-season, but it wasn't a terrible experience either.

We had a nice stay at the Truman Hotel but we felt it was very overpriced for what it was and especially as you have to pay an additional $US20 per night to park the car on top. The rooms were nice but not that big compared to other rooms we have stayed in at other places. The pool and pool area felt very overcrowded and all the sunbeds by the pool were reserved early in the morning (sigh!!) Thought the free wine between 5pm and 6pm was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice but for the price a few more options would have been good.

We recently stayed here the first week of June for a 3rd year in a row, and that is indicative of our happiness with our recurring experience at this hotel. The staff are always really helpful, accommodating with our room location request, and super friendly! The booking and check-in/out process is a breeze. The room is always clean and comfortable, and the pool area very inviting! The Truman Hotel is centrally located, a superb value, is very close to Duval and walking distance to so many of the places we like to visit on our stays. Thank you to everyone at The Truman for everything during our stays….We really appreciate it! Can’t wait until our next stay!

I arrived to check in at 2:45. Check in is at 3 pm. After waiting a few minutes I was told the room wasn't ready yet but would be ready by 3 (it's 2:47). After going back at 3 and waiting another 30 minutes to check in as there's only 1 person checking people in and now everyone who has had to wait til 3 is in line. 30 minutes later I get checked in and my parking pass for my space that we paid for. We leave to go to the store and when we get back there's someone parked in our space. After explaining this is out assigned spot, we go around the building to park and there is already another car in my spot who refuses to move. My husband has to go inside to get another parking spot. This is another 45 minute ordeal so now ive spent an hour and a half of my vacation waiting around. When we finally leave to get dinner and come back to the room about 9:30 pm, we noticed that the cleaning people have already been back in the room. (We checked in 6 hours earlier). They took some trash but didn't change towels or anything else which makes.me.wonder why they were even there. The room itself was decent. There was some balck mold in the shower. Overall I would not stsy here again.

Yelp
Very clean. Updated and modern Super convenient location to walk to the sites or catch a tour bus, train or trolley. Large room. Spacious bathroom My recommendation is take a fan. The AC cools one section of the room- but not the sleeping space. There needs to be a ceiling fan to circulate the cold air. There is almost nowhere to hang wet towels or suits, and you're not permitted to use the balcony for that. Maybe take a line you might use in a cruise ship to hang your wet things. . The breakfast provided is limited - fruit, yogurt and mediocre croissants. I've had more options at a Holiday Inn at 1/3 the price but location is why it's worth staying. Pay for the parking spot for the stay. Parking is a premium in Key West

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay at the Truman Hotel! Check-in & Check- out: Checking in and out were both very simple, quick, and easy. The staff was friendly and they had a table with quick guides and activities that can be done in Key West. Parking: There is a parking garage on site and super convenient given that it's usually street parking in Key West. You are given a parking decal with a stall number on it so if you decide to drive somewhere, you can easily park in your assigned stall when you return to the hotel. Room: The room we had was beautiful! Very clean and smelled great! The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. There were spacious counters. The shower was wonderful, a little low on the water pressure but still better than most hotel showers. Amenities: The maids brought bottles of complimentary waters to us. There are beautiful sitting areas outside the rooms. The pool area is really the highlight of the hotel. In the evenings there is a complimentary wine happy hour and complimentary breakfast in the morning by the pool. Both very simple yet enjoyable. Location: The hotel is located within walking distance from Duval street and Mallory Square. You can walk to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront.

Yelp
Warning! This hotel has a strange design on electricity. It has one switch controlling all room light and all power outlets. So when you turn the lights off during sleeping time , all the power outlets also shut down . If you need power to run a medical device, such as CPAP, you don't have any power outlets to use. I have never seen any hotel doing that.

Yelp
It isn't mold... it's humidity???? That's not true! I live here! It was mold. Humidity doesn't have a smell. Nor does an island. In August, in fullaass humidity, the whole South of Florida and the tropics do not smell like that room did. No one would leave their house if that were true! Not running your ac or ventilating your place in summer will cause mold. There's a reason most leases here say that you need to run your ac for at least an hour a day in the summer or you pay mold removal. Your business made a mistake. It happens. But do not tell me that I smelled humidity or an island when I know it was mold from not running the ac.

Yelp
As known, hotels in Key West are expensive. This hotel is clean, in good location and reasonable price (we paid $400+ for one night in February) Walking distance to everything you want to see in Key West. We were in a room close to the swimming pool and the next door person smoked outside of their room and we smelled cigarette smell the whole time.

Yelp
When I was looking for a place to stay in Key West during a busy season, this seemed like the most affordable, good quality option relatively close to all the nightlife and shops - but it was much nicer than I expected! First, the staff were professional and the people who worked the poolside bar for free breakfast and free happy hour were super friendly. (Remember to tip them!) Next, the courtyard vibe with the pool in the center created a really awesome oasis away from the fun chaos on Duval street (see picture). That said, it was super convenient having restaurants and a CVS a stone's throw away, and then getting to the heart of all the action in a short walk. Will definitely return to Key West and the Truman Hotel again!

Yelp
Location, location, location. The Truman Hotel is located just off Duvall Street. For those first timers to Key West Duvall St. is where 90% of the Key West action is at. Parking is included with your stay. While the hotel is within walking distance of the fun, there's a quiet pool courtyard area that's really peaceful. You can forget you are so close to the hustle and bustle. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are comfortable. If Covid concerns are your thing the hotel staff is taking it seriously. Only one of us was allowed in the office at check in. The hotel advertised a light continental breakfast, but there was none. Presumably Covid. A quaint comfortable hotel in a great spot.

Yelp
We stayed in room 212 the second week of July 2021. Great location and the staff are nice. The room quality however is devastating. I have tried reaching out to the management several times but no response. So I don't have any choice but to write this review. I have called the main number 305 296 6700 several times and left several messages with Barbara and Zachary. No response. There were ants in the room that swarmed small drops of infant formula. Their fix was to spray pesticide while we were in the room. I told them please don't do so since we have a baby in the room The light switch leading to the room doesn't work. They did not fix it during our stay. It turns on just fine but does not turn off. Finally the coffee machine was a plastic cuisine art. It didn't work either. They replaced it within an hour but still a bad look for a luxury hotel. The front desk is one person. He or she is nice. They try and help but are hand tied because their manager is never on site - one even said that Barbara was on vacation and they do not know when she will be back. All in all, not worth $300/night you will pay to stay here. I would equate this to a Motel 6 or Red Roof in with nicer linens. I would not have minded if it cost $100-$200 but for a room that costs about a $2000 a week you'd expect a much better experience. Don't stay here and pay full price. I might consider staying here if you get a deal and don't mind a few bugs.

Yelp
You'll get no complaints from me .one of the more modernized older establishments in Key West. No frills spot to stay, but yet upgraded and well kept . The air conditioning worked wonderfully , the bed was comfy , the tv had HBO , & they offered a lite breakfast. I even found street parking . I had a problem with my shower and they fixed it right away . Friendly staff working diligently to keep everything in order . You can tell whoever is running this place cares . Close to Duval St. I recommend going to White St. pier for free beach experience . The Zachary state park beach has bbq pits but you pay for parking over there. Eat at KAYA for quality cooked food . The owner there also cares about his customers .

Yelp
Great location and very clean. But you need to get some room darkening curtains! The 3rd floor is lit up like a ballpark at night as the mini blinds do nothing to block the intense lighting outside the door and the adjacent elevator. Cheap, $200 fix and I'd be happy to leave 5 stars.

Yelp
This was the best place out of our hotel experiences in Florida. Newly renovated, the apartments feel sparkling clean and have high ceilings giving a sense of spaciousness. Each apartment has an outside private veranda with furniture adding a homey touch. The pool is heated for an awesome evening swim. Adequate and extra towels towels in the closet, every detail has been thought through and added plus, breakfast is included.

Yelp
We had a great stay here! I shared the room with two of my friends and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was a great size. The staff was really kind and always available to answer any questions we had. It's also in a wonderful location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and other fun attractions this area offers. Highly recommend!

Yelp
So close to the action but you'd never know from inside this peaceful sanctuary. Rooms were updated and clean with modern features. The pool was heavenly surrounded by palms. We enjoyed it both evenings of our short stay because it was just so inviting and relaxing. We had a perfect stay. Plenty of parking in the garage under the building. We'll definitely return.

Yelp
I cannot rave enough about this place! It's located on a quiet street about two blocks away from Duval! Walking distance from everything! We stayed in what they called a cottage which is a small 2 floor apartment... YES! TWO FLOORS! Bedroom and a full bathroom upstairs, then they have a living room and half a bathroom downstairs. So while the hubby is in the shower, I'm downstairs doing my hair. The staff? AMAZING! Had a nice chit chat with one of the front desk people - I forgot her name, but I nicknamed her Bronx because that's where she's from (we're from Jersey). She was personable, professional and motivated us to get mopeds for the day. BEST IDEA EVER! Due to a family emergency, we had to cut our stay for 4 days instead of 6. But the hotel, and the staff were amazing. We will be returning. We paid about 289 a night. Best price in town.

Yelp
We are long time customers and very disappointed in our last stay. I reserved two rooms and was told that they were booked and the second room would have to be a suite which is $60 more. When I paid the bill it was $60 per day which is $120 more for the two nights. Adding to the frustration the suite was on the third floor and the elevator was broken. Carrying our luggage up to the third floor to an expensive suite that we didn't want in the first place made us very angry. I was not offered an alternative or a discount for the inconvenience. I will be looking for accommodations else where in the future. P.S. The vacancy sign was up the entire time we were there.

Yelp
In Key West for one night on a fun girls trip. We wanted someplace within walking distance of Duval Street as well as a safe place to stay. The Truman Hotel was great. Comfortable, quaint, quiet and nicely updated facility. The staff were friendly & welcoming. We highly recommend this hotel & would stay here again!

Yelp
This is a small hotel, with a small feel. We came with extended family, and they had two rooms while we had one. Our room for three people was way too small. We were in the room with our teenage daughter and two double beds. the room was too small for our things not to mention us! The sink in the room was a bowl on top of a counter, that unfortunately did not drain. The noises in the room between the refrigerator and air conditioner were so loud that they woke us up on and off all night. We asked to change rooms, but could not be accommodated. While the hotel Paperwork offered continental breakfast and coffee, there was none. I was literally told to drink the coffee in the room. Not so great for a coffee lover...The pool area was small but nice, however, several families took it upon themselves to bring their own boom box, blast loud music and take over the entire area with their 6-8 people (middle aged adults)- this was not relaxing or very nice for the rest of us who would have liked to use the pool. The music went into the night, got louder and more raucous ending with the family leaving the pool after several people called the front desk to complain. Mysteriously the fire alarm was pulled only a few minutes later (this was after 11:00pm)... seriously, respect for fellow travelers is all we are asking. We unfortunately would not recommend this hotel.

Yelp
We had such a lovely time at the Truman. We were a little apprehensive about staying so close to Duval with our (albeit fun-loving) toddler and 10 month old, but the Truman's location and attention to detail placed them in the top 5 hotels we've ever visited! It was the perfect distance to walk to local restaurants, shops, museums, and even our sunset cruise. Their morning breakfast of cereal, fruit, and pastries was more than enough to get us by until our afternoon adventure. The pool was spotless and the interior lounges were tropical and oasis-like. But the real winner here was the room! Vaulted ceilings, wood floors, fresh new rugs and bedding, and a spacious balcony complemented the built in desk and wet bar area and two-showerhead (read: heavenly!) bathroom. I can't believe we found such a gem! Check them out and add them to your list or you'll be missing out! 702 is the best room with the best view!

Yelp
I was very happy with my choice. I knew nothing about Key West when I booked my hotel. Checked a lot of reviews and this place caught my attention. It will be my number one choice when I go back

Yelp
Love it, it's my 2nd visit No bar tho And no wine and cheese happy hour :( Close to Duval

Yelp
Awesome new hotel. Stayed here for two nights over Easter break. Beautiful and hip courtyard with pool. Paid $219+tax, two double beds. Cons: Not much "life" at the hotel, didn't really see or interact with other guests. No hot tub. Pros: Free parking. Great pool and lounge chairs. New rooms, amazing shower. Front desk woman was very helpful with suggestions.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Outside grounds and pool were nice however ants were an issue. Maybe during the pool area clean up in the morning they could spray some environmentally friendly pesticide. The room was awful. Small, dark and smelly. We were able to trace the smell to the wood cabinet that was supposedly a closet. The room also needed some minor repairs and the AC was loud but at least it worked. Location was good so there's that. There are much nicer places to stay in Key West.
google avatar

Yelp
My family has a place in KW, so I've never stayed in a hotel here. Our place(a rental) is booked throughout the summer, but bf and I wanted to do our birthday weekend in KW. The Truman is new and seemed cool. I pretty much agree with previous reviews. Check in was easy as was parking(that was a selling point for me). Location makes walking everywhere easy breezy. Comfy modern rooms which remind me a bit if W hotel rooms. Don't lose your key card-you need it to operate the lights and AC. We didn't do the pool, but the area is really pretty and seemed like folks were digging it. That's the scoop.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
This was a very trendy and chic hotel. The rooms were decorated with cool artwork and the bath was glass mosaic tile. The pool area was very nice and looked incredible at night when it was lit. The staff was great. Turn down service at night with bottled water and chocolates. We were there for Fantasy Fest so it was a perfect location to get to Duval Street. The staff even left us beads on the bed to celebrate. The breakfast was served by the pool. It was simple, but had enough variety to help with a hangover. Great place to stay!,

Maria P.

Yelp
What a shame!! We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and we loved it. However, we will never stay here again. The two rooms we stayed in had mold in every corner, the smell was unbearable and not to mention, unhealthy.
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Cute hotel, but once you check into the room, it smells sooo bad of mold. We only stayed for one night because of the disgusting, not to mention unhealthy odors of mold and mildew.
google avatar

Meaghan E.

Yelp
We booked this hotel because it received good reviews here on Yelp. There were six of us ladies visiting Key West for a relaxing and fun girls weekend. The good news first: When we first walked in we were all impressed by the grounds. The pool was nice and the rooms were, for the most part, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and professional and the location was perfect, not so close to Duval that is was loud but not so far away that walking would be difficult. The bad news: While the room looked clean it smelled HORRIBLY of cigarette smoke. In fact it got so bad that we asked if we could be moved to a nonsmoking room. We were told that the entire hotel was smoke free so we were a bit confused. They did try to help by spraying the room with lots of fragrance but that didn't last too long and the horrible smoke smell returned. While the day staff were friendly and professional the night staff was not. There was a lot of noise coming from one of the rooms near us and after 1 am we decided to call and complain. The gentleman working told us it would be "very difficult for him to find out what guest was causing the noise" This statement was repeated to me three times. It seemed as though I was putting the staff out. The breakfast was also sub par. My biggest complaint would be the beds and the bedding! I felt like I was sleeping on a pavement and the blankets were scratchy and thin. I was very shocked by how uncomfortable the sleeping situation was and can honestly say it was the most uncomfortable bed situation I've ever been in. I would go to the hotel again, IF THEY GOT DECENT BEDS AND BLANKETS, because for the most part it was fine, and the price was right. However, they could definitely make some simple improvements to make the stay a bit more pleasant

Yelp
Terrible stay at this hotel. Probably the most irritating hotel experience I've ever had. We checked in around 3:00 p.m., and were quite tired after our 5 hour drive to key west, but unable to do any resting of any kind as we were constantly disturbed by the construction THE NEXT ROOM OVER with banging, sawing, hammering, and yelling well until after 5:00 and starting up again the next morning at 7:30! First of all, don't put someone in a room next to a construction site. I'm on vacation! What the heck is the matter with you!? And second of all, try to do a little better than a 30% refund after your customer has to complain TWICE about the noise. Will definitely not be staying here the next time we visit key west. Absolutely miserable experience.
google avatar

Evelyn L.

Yelp
I stayed here for a girl's trip. Pretty close to Duval so we were walking distance from all the action. That was very convenient. I loved our room. It was perfect. We stayed in a corner room with a balcony & a great view. When we were all tired from being tourists we would go onto our balcony & drink to watch the sunset. Or we would head down to the pool. The pool was great. I liked that the hotel wasn't crowded. So we were able to enjoy the pool & breakfast. The staff was pretty great as well. As soon as we needed something they helped us out. We had one particular lady that helped us tons that weekend. We definitely made sure to tip her every time. She truly made our experience that much better. She even managed to know our sleeping schedule. Usually leaving our room for almost last which we appreciated. Every morning she greeted us and was nice. The rooms very spacious, clean, & modern. On the nights that we were too tired to walk back. We took a cab back to our room. I think we spent like $6-7 on a cab ride. Pretty great deal! Overall, I would definitely go back! Would love if they brought back their bar & happy hour. That would have made it 5 stars. But all in all a great place to stay.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel & pool. Cost about 200 per night. Two double beds. Nice breakfast every morning. The best Orange Juice ever. (Indian River brand- we asked) The woman at the front desk was very nice, helpful with ideas of things to do and coupons to save money doing them. Right next to Duval St and walking distance to everything. I will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone who will be visiting Key West.

Yelp
For our honeymoon, my husband and I had originally planned on staying at a resort in Islamorada at $200/night not including resort fees. After a lot of discussion, we decided to cancel our reservations and find a place on Key West. We were so glad to find the Truman Hotel! I was unsure about it at first, because the only way to book was through the hotel's website, but as soon as we walked into our room, it was so worth every penny! We paid $145 plus tax for a room with a king bed. We stayed in one of the new rooms, and it was quite luxurious and modern. The room was HUGE with super soft sheets, plenty of towels, mini-fridge, large flatscreen TV, and big vanity bathroom. They provided breakfast of pastries, cereals, boiled eggs, coffee, milk, and OJ every morning. Turn down service each night included chocolates and bottle waters. There are lounge areas outside each room, not to mention a really amazing pool, especially at night when it is lit up. Everyone at the hotel was very nice, always asking how our stay was and making sure we had things to do around the Keys. Only downsides were that it wasn't a full service hotel - no room service like food or anything, and one night there were some really late pool occupants making some commotion. I found the Truman Hotel on travelocity when I was reading reviews for a bed and breakfast. It said something along the lines of "this place is old and musty, if you're looking for something nice, new, clean, and modern, look up the Truman Hotel". There weren't a million reviews like other places on Key West, but it was enough for me to book with them and I am so glad I did!

Yelp
This is a great hotel. Made last minute reservations and everyone was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I visited the Truman Hotel last July 4th for my 30th birthday. Its a great place to stay. Very updated. Has a nice pool and parking garage. Felt very private. Offers breakfast in the morning near the pool. The rooms are comfy yet modern. I can't wait to go back. Can't say a bad thing about this place.

Yelp
This hotel was so cute and we definitely enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast by the pool was nice, could've had a bit more of a selection and fresher fruit but overall a beautiful secretly hidden hotel.

Yelp
A few words that immediately come to mind, MISREPRESENTATION AND HIGHWAY ROBBERY! DO NOT think that what you see is what you will get when they take your $365.00 deposit to book the room you think you are getting on line! If you would like to pay almost $400 a night for a room with no closet (no a 1 ft by 4.5 ft. cabinet does not equate to a closet), barely big enough to hang a suit in, a bathroom door that does not close, a sink that you cannot wash your face, brush your teeth or put contacts in, because it is clogged and will overflow or you prefer luke warm showers, lighting in the bathroom so dim that you cannot see to put makeup on.....and having to lug your belongings up 2 flights of stairs because there is no elevator on one side of the building....then definitely STAY HERE. What a joke!!!!

Yelp
Very nice hotel. Modern rooms. Great price. Very clean and a block off Duval st. This will be my new hotel in Key West.

Yelp
Impressed! We chose a weekend to visit Key West where many hotels were either booked or really pricey. I was able to get a more reasonably priced room here and was comforted by the high reviews. We arrived and easily got a parking spot on-site (which is a huge perk in this town and included in the price of the room; the parking is somewhat limited in their lot but there were several open spaces when we arrived). Check-in was a breeze and the room and grounds were clean and updated and beautiful. The pool is heated (we didn't end up having a chance to use it but it was very appealing). This is just a few blocks off Duval but easy to walk to the action and then come back here to a quiet spot. Would definitely stay here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect location. Close enough to the southern most everythings. Close enough to Mallory square and all the fun in that direction. And nice and close to Duval and all that crazy while easily being able to escape to some peace and quiet. This is a darling little hotel that is in a great spot. The parking garage means there is a space waiting for you so you don't have to worry about driving somewhere and having one when you get back. While the breakfast isn't a full on breakfast bar it is coffee and pastries and bagels, which was perfect for my mom and I. We loved our little room and enjoyed the little shared balcony space. The staff was very friendly and having a mini fridge in the room was great too! Nothing like some wine time while your getting ready! Would absolutely stay here again!

Yelp
Great small hotel. Will be staying here again! Got a very well decorated room overlooking Truman Ave. Nick at the front desk was very helpful.

Yelp
I think that the hotel did it's job: we were able to get a cheap place to stay for a couple of nights, very close to Duval Street with easy access around all the main tourist-y sites. However, there were some downfalls into the hotel. The beds were comfortable and nice with many pillows and I didn't necessarily have a problem with that. However, our room itself became easily infested with ants! They were everywhere... bathroom, in the main room, a few in my bed. That part got very annoying after awhile. Secondly, when relaxing during the day at the hotel, there was construction nearby and they were pounding away for a quarter of the day. It was irritating. Other than that, like I said, the room did it's job for two nights.

Yelp
I stayed here in Sept 2014 for my bday girls trip. Hotel was clean, staff was nice and more importantly no bed bugs. I can't complain about this hotel. Def would recommend it to anyone visiting Key West!

Yelp
Stayed at the Truman hotel with a few friends and it was a great experience. When checking in the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived around 11am (check in is at 3pm) but they still let us go to our room which was already cleaned. The rooms were very nice, modern and clean. The pool area was great and they served a nice breakfast which is complimentary in the morning. The hotel staff was also great at recommending different things to do in the town. Great location and close by to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Make sure your key works! Was asked if I had my key by my phone. (I did not) asked if I went into cvs ( I had). Blamed my key not working on cvs because of AAA not involved. Frustrating when it is 2am and can't get in your room! Parking garage is awesome! So stars for that!

Yelp
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel had a bedbug infestation. I went to urgent care to see my health care provider when I arrived back home, and she confirmed I had bedbug bites. The owner was extremely rude and said I was bitten by "sand fleas". The owner would not give me a discount or refund my money. I would NEVER stay at that hotel again.

Yelp
Our experience here was wonderful. We were extremely pleased with the room, parking, and proximity to Duval Street. The staff was very friendly and informative. We will gladly stay here again, but more importantly let all our friends know of this hidden gem.

Yelp
Stayed two nights at this hotel recently, and was very pleased with the room and service! the hotel staff was very friendly, and the hotel was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given the location. The pool area was relaxing, with breakfast served in the mornings, and just a street away from Duval st, it was a great experience.
