The Trunk team has masterfully curated an elegant collection with timeless pieces and tasteful cuts. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing everything they had on display. The staff was delightful and I am especially grateful to Edward for his grace, patience and impeccable taste. I heartily recommend his assistance and look forward to seeing him in my next visit.

A truly luxurious experience from start to finish. The boutique offers a beautifully edited collection that speaks to both elegance and individuality. Thank you, Edward, for your gracious attention and expert guidance, it’s rare to find such thoughtful service. You’ve created an experience that feels as exclusive as it is warm.

Trunk is the best store. They're all the best, but Aidan is especially a professional manager. They're in London and Zurich, so make sure to visit.

London’s best. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, warm, hospitable, and a great range. Quick to advise on tailoring options (they’ll probably take care of it for you) and you’ll walk away feeling a million quid.

Gus Walbolt

Google
One of the best quality menswear retailers selling quality tailored clothing, shoes and accessories. They offer an excellent assortment of both name brands and their own house label made for them in Italy. Some of the brands include Crockett & Jones shoes, Barbour jacket, Drakes ties, Howlin Knitwear, Incotex trousers and others. The buyers have edited a range that will mix and match with just about anything in the store. Nothing flashy, everything has an updated classic look and style.

Extremely kind and professional team. This store comprises a unique selection of brands and one wouldn’t need to go anywhere else. Special thanks to Aidan, a pioneer in this field!

I recently bought my wedding suit from Trunk using their made to measure service. Aidan helped guide me through the process and kept me closely updated throughout. For those considering Savile Row for custom made suits I would definitely recommend Trunk for a similar product with a much more personable service.

My favourite menswear indie shop in London by far. Extremely well curated by a team of iconoclasts, with exclusive imports from Japan, Italy, France, Germany, the USA, Scandinavia, etc. The stock is permanently rotating, which entices me to visit them as often as possible. 5-star service, which includes tailor-made apparels. In addition, Trunk has its own products, especially t-shirts with superior and long-lasting cotton. I just hope one day they will open a shop in Oxford!

Yelp
Trunk is the kind of shop that makes me envy men. No stylish man in London should miss this place, replete with brands from all over the world including Alden and J. Crew (Trunk is apparently the only UK importer of J Crew) from the USA, Barena and Aspesi from Italy, Porter and Comme des Garçons from Japan and of course British brands like Mackintosh and Orlebar Brown. Also, check out the Tabio socks downstairs; they've a small, well-edited selection. For a terrific tie, a snappy suit or a rarified pair of shoes, try Trunk.

Yelp
What a cool store...seriously, I'm starting to warm up to Marylebone after all. Walked down Chiltern Street the other day and discovered this gem of a men's fashion store. I walked in and I couldn't believe how many of the thing I seriously wanted buy. Most of my time I spent in the basement, where they had nice sale going on - 40% off! I ended up buying a pair of beige trousers, with and unusual but very stylish cut. I also bought a jacket, which - again - convinced me because of the unusual cut. Very cool store indeed...need to make sure I'm not walking down Chiltern Street too many times ;-) or else my wallet will suffer too much damage!

Yelp
Chiltern Street has rapidly become a destination in its own right for interesting and/or independent brands. Trunk Labs joins a growing roster of high quality names, including Sunspel, Grey Flannel and the original Trunk (all menswear), Monocle (café/magazine/lifestyle) and Cire Trudon (... a rather nice French candlemaker) to name but several. In the context of the rather predictable roster of high-end brands aimed at the middle-aged moneyed types that Marylebone is replete with, the arrival of Trunk Labs and marques such as Aēsop on Marylebone High St and Hunter-Gather on Wigmore St are a real boon to an area that could otherwise strongly resemble a central London equivalent of Westbourne Grove or West Kensington (read in to that comment as you wish). Labs is a spin off from the Trunk Clothiers menswear store twelve doors down, focussing instead on accessories, shoes and stationery. As per its sibling, the edit of brands is exceptionally tight - London Undercover umbrellas, Alden shoes, Midori stationery, Porter and Rimowa bags, and plenty more. The quality is high, the prices (margins) reasonable, and the service exemplary - the perfect balance of non-intrusiveness and knowledgable helpfulness. The shop fills a relative niche in London's menswear 'scene' that only several other multi-brand retailers in the capital (Present on Shoreditch High St, Goodhood on Old St, & The Content Store on Lambs Conduit St) have proven capable of serving. Moreover, presentation is key - the window displays are thoughtfully put together and regularly updated, and everything from a pot of shoe polish to a 70l aluminium Rimowa suitcase is wrapped, bagged and presented to the customer in a manner only the Japanese might see as customary. A bench sits outside the store with large planters overflowing with verdant plantlife where one can sit and enjoy a coffee during the summer months. Likewise, warm lighting and a cosily-chic shopfit beckon you in during London's gloomy winter. All of these things blend together to create an enjoyable retail experience - a destination shop in its own right, one that will never be threatened by the inexorable advance of shopping online thanks to its considered sourcing of stock and deft personal touch. If you're a Londoner or tourist on the hunt for one of London's best menswear stores, I couldn't recommend Trunk Labs - or indeed Trunk Clothiers - highly enough. Make a morning of it: grab a freshly-baked cinnamon bun at the Nordic Bakery round the corner on Dorset Street, peruse the whisky shops and brasswind repair stores that line this gem of a West End street, and hit both Trunk stores with gale-force strength, finishing with a cheeky brunch at the Monocle Café situated smack bang between the two. And all this whilst having scarcely moved your well-shoed feet an inch.

Yelp
Trunk has been established since autumn 2010, and the firm is still going quite strong as of today. The CEO/Managing Director, & Owner Mats Klingberg has launched by Trunk Clothiers Marylebone's Chiltern Street, and the clothing firm has now been bringing together a lovingly curated selection of the world's finest menswear and accessories, which are very hard-to-find. As the name suggests, Trunk is a compact, well organized and highly edited mix of carefully selected, hand crafted garments. Trunk stocks exclusive and hard-to-find labels from Germany, Japan, Italy, France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Canada and other countries worldwide, and most of Trunk's luxury goods have never been available in the UK before. Well respected brands such as Beams+, Aspesi, Montedoro, Barena, Brooklyn, Ganzo, Zanone & J Crew make their London debut with Trunk. Trunk also offer special collaborations with the likes of Tabio & Porter both distinguished Japanese labels. Trunk is all brand new in town, and yet they will have more and more customers yet to come and visit. And I have to say, I really like it. It's nice and tidy and I think, the stuff here is very unique in certain ways. Trunk also stocks Brooklyn Museum, a luxary leather brand company, based in Tokyo, Japan and they are very difficult to get hold of. This is the only place in the British Isles that stocks and sells Brooklyn Museum leather (Japanese leather, Made in Japan) So, a visit to Trunk's is seriously well worth your while and effort. You might even find something you desire in this store of Marylebone.

Yelp
Trunk Clothiers needs to be on your short-list for men's clothing stores in London. This small 2 level store carries a wide arrange of suits and casual wear. I was really impressed with the great selection of higher end labels from the US, Europe and Japan--yes they carry Japanese denim. Whereas most stores tend to stock the same overplayed brands, Trunk really goes out of its way to source independent and harder to find in the UK brands including their own private label. Nicely decorated store as well with all sorts of vintage accents including a bowl of signed baseballs. Staff was really helpful making recommendations and finding sizes. They currently have a summer sale, with much of the store at 40% off. It's definitely worth a trip to Marylebone to visit Trunk.

Yelp
A real gem. The selection, though not expansive, is thoughtfully edited, with an emphasis on brands that elevate substance, quality and refinement over flash. It's the service that really sets the store apart, though. The gentleman who helped me on both occasions I visited was attentive but not overbearing, and he kindly offered to waive a delivery charge on one of the items I ordered. With any luck, this store will be around for years to come.
