This place really stands out with its architecture and overall aesthetics — super stylish, well thought out, and just a really nice space to be in. You notice the design straight away and it definitely adds to the experience. Service was great too. Everything was quick, smooth, and efficient, and the staff were on it without being overbearing, which is always appreciated. The food was good, although I do wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger, especially for the price. Big shoutout to the coffee though — easily one of the highlights. Properly made and seriously good. Overall, this is a must-go spot when you’re in Cape Town. Great vibes, great coffee, and an experience worth checking out.

Really really great coffee, and the design, of course. My favorite was the Cortado. Best ever! The best time to visit is in the morning as they would have all the bakery stuffed. You may not get everything on the menu if you were to arrive in the late afternoon.

Came from Saudi Arabia to visit Truth Coffee Roasting – it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the best coffee shops in the world. The coffee is outstanding: perfectly roasted, rich and balanced. Pastries are fresh and delicious, the staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the steampunk decor is truly unique. Well worth the trip! Highly recommend.

The Coffee is a brilliant blend. Tastes great with a lot of depth. Food was disappointing. Well worth a visit as the interior does take you to the Steam Punk ear-a. The waiting staff used to dress up accordingly but at the last visit they were not dressed up only the Concierge. The Presentation of the burgers was the same as before but lack the tastiness of before. It was dry and tasteless

One of the best and most unique coffee shops we’ve visited. They offer an impressive variety of coffee beverages, and the food was delicious. The industrial-style interior adds to the experience, giving it an authentic coffee roastery vibe. Highly recommended!

Truth Coffee is an absolute gem in Cape Town. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by their unique, steampunk-inspired décor that creates such a memorable atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the start. Coffee? Absolutely fantastic. Rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care — easily some of the best in the city. If you’re a coffee lover or just enjoy a great spot to relax, Truth Coffee is definitely worth a visit.

The coffee is delicious! I usually don’t like anything besides matcha but the coffee I had here was delicious! It was such an experience. There is a lot of seating available. The food is delicious and presented well. I highly recommend this place.

I spent the morning of my birthday here, and what a special start to my birthday. My cousin that now resides in London took me to this place as this was his favourite place to be. It was my first time and I loved the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was the bomb dot com🥰. It is quite dark inside but I managed to get a seat closer to the door for natural light. I loved how the menu came as a normal newspaper, funny and interesting at the same time. Definitely a place I would visit again and again.
