The Tryall Club

We stayed at Little Palm villa for 12 nights. Our wonderful team were Marcia - Head of House, Rohan - Chef, and Audley - Gardener.||These three immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. Marcia is a real matriarch. She prides herself in her linens and table settings and we rarely had the same set up twice. She also looked out for me more like a sister, friend or mother, warning me when maintenance men were coming to the villa so that I could cover up for example, I had such fun with her. ||Rohan’s cooking is sublime. He made everything from scratch and with such flair. We loved everything he made and presented for us - long with a commentary at the table every time before we dug in! I hate scrambled eggs and would never ever eat them but when Rohan made them one morning - I actually ate them to my own suprise!!||Audley is a super hard working gardener. He is seen snipping and raking and mowing almost all day every day. But that’s only once he’s cleaned the pool, arranged the cushions on the loungers, and stocked the pool fridge with fresh ice and all the drinks for the day. All with a smile.||Unlike other villas we have stayed in, this team are unobtrusive professional kind hardworking and super fun.||By the time we left we felt that we had made friends for life and we look forward to seeing them again next time we visit.||Yeah man!

Our family joined a wonderful group of friends for our very first trip to Jamaica in August 2024, staying at Phoenix Villa. The experience was so incredible that before we even left, we had already made plans to return. In July 2025, we came back—and it truly felt like coming home, only better.||From the moment we arrived, the staff at Phoenix Villa made us feel welcomed and cared for. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every detail of the stay unforgettable. From delicious, beautifully prepared meals to fresh daily laundry service, their hospitality made the experience effortless and relaxing.||The villa is truly beautiful—well-kept grounds, comfortable and spotless accommodations, and the ocean stretching right up to the backyard. The surrounding Tryall Club only adds to the experience, with the golf course and driving range nearby and the Great House veranda just a short ride away for spectacular views at tea time. And for the kids, nothing beat the villa’s own pool, where they ended each evening with a magical swim under the stars.||Every bedroom was inviting, comfortable, and well maintained, with several boasting gorgeous ocean views. The living spaces were thoughtfully designed for every occasion—whether gathering for cocktails before dinner, celebrating a birthday, finding a quiet spot to read or join a Zoom call, sunbathing, or watching a soccer game.||Traveling as a group of five families, we loved how the villa allowed us to enjoy time together while still providing private, comfortable spaces for each family. Phoenix Villa truly has it all—a perfect balance of relaxation, beauty, and connection.||We cannot recommend Phoenix Villa highly enough. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

We had a fabulous week at the Tryall Club in February at the Hanover Windward house. We were a family of 11 ranging from ages 7 months through 70. We loved all the activities that the Tryall club has to offer from the beach and pool, gym, tennis, pickleball, golf and spa. It is a great vacation for an active family. We hired the Nannies that were wonderful to watch the babies so we could do activities with the older children. They were kind and loving. |The staff at the Handover Windward was exceptional! They made our trip the best. Chef is amazing! Every meal was delicious and he accommodated all our likes- even the 3 and 5 year olds! Dugie makes the best cocktails and every night our table setting was different and beautiful. Charmaine and Marcia kept the house organized and nice and clean and we loved having clean clothes in our room every day. Zek and Clark kept the golf carts up and running and the pool clean. The downstairs bedrooms could use some updating but the rest of the house is great.

My family and I had an unforgettable vacation at the Tryall Club. Although I’ve been visiting Jamaica since childhood, this was my first time staying at Tryall—and it far exceeded all my expectations. We stayed at the villa Bye the Way, and it was absolute perfection.||The true heart of our experience, as always in Jamaica, was the people. Our house manager, Nisha, made us feel like family. She cares for the villa as though it were her own—everything was beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished. We were especially fortunate to have her cook for us each evening. Her menus featured traditional Jamaican cuisine prepared with the freshest local ingredients. Every meal was amazing, but standouts included her jerk chicken, curry shrimp, fresh mango-ginger juice, and the delicious made-to-order breakfasts each morning.||It was also my mother’s birthday during our stay, and Nisha went above and beyond—baking a homemade cake and helping us create a truly special celebration we’ll never forget.||Our driver, Lincoln, was equally wonderful. He was incredibly accommodating, always available even on short notice, and had great recommendations for excursions around the island. Together, Nisha and Lincoln made a phenomenal team—we wouldn’t consider staying at any villa without them.||The Tryall Club itself had everything we could’ve wanted: pristine pools, well-kept tennis courts, a fully equipped fitness center, and although we didn’t have time to play, the golf course looked immaculate. The beach was gorgeous, with attentive staff providing excellent service to match the stunning views.||While some might hesitate to visit Jamaica in the summer, we found it delightful. The temperatures were cooler than back home in the States, and the constant ocean breeze made it even more enjoyable.||We were truly sad to leave and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The staff were very attentive, respectful and friendly. The villa is big enough to accommodate our group of 11 people. Although it was an amazing week we all had, I think it’s a bit expensive overall. I’ve stayed in several luxurious places, but this has been one that you get less for your money. We budgeted for this trip, but the cost of the food was higher than expected. What really surprised me was that everything is in USD.

We had a wonderful visit to Tryall at Bye the Way. Nisha was a wonderful house manager and made the best meals. She was so accommodating with the little kids and went out of the way to make everything easy for our family. Her meals were delicious and we especially enjoyed her baking. We got to spend some time playing tennis again which also added to the visit. We love visiting Tryall and how well the staff take care of every detail right down to reservations. We will be back

We stayed at the Phoenix Villa this summer with friends. It was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The villa itself is stunning. It’s right on the water, so you have the ocean view everywhere you look. We found it very spacious. The rooms were all lovely and even with multiple families staying there it felt like we all had our privacy. The pool in the center of the courtyard was delightful. The water was perfect and it was enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. There’s also a nice lawn area where you can play croquet, corn hole, or other lawn games to pass the time :). ||This villa is well located for multiple reasons. It’s right on the water, so it’s easy for water lovers to snorkel or go kayaking right from the villa. It’s also very close to the golfing and the driving range for the golfers in the group. When you want a change of scenery, the Tryall Beach Club is a short walk or golf cart ride down the road. We went there a couple of times to enjoy the infinity pool and the beautiful beach. And if you just want to take a break (or a nap!), you can enjoy the ocean breezes from one of the multiple verandas or the beach chairs on site. I actually had to spend a bit of time on work, and found it wasn’t the worst thing to have to do while enjoying the ocean view (and I can confirm the wifi works well also!).||The staff were fantastic. They were very accommodating, for example, feeding the little kids first and providing them with kid-friendly alternates as needed. We were well cared for and well fed the whole time we were there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. ||The pictures don’t do it justice. I'm happy to recommend the Tryall resort in general and the Phoenix Villa in particular for a family or a group of friends looking for a great place to stay.

We really enjoy our stay at The little Palm, the staff is very profecional, the food is amazing. I will highly recommend the little palm house and we hope to come back.
