The Tryall Club

We had a fabulous week at the Tryall Club in February at the Hanover Windward house. We were a family of 11 ranging from ages 7 months through 70. We loved all the activities that the Tryall club has to offer from the beach and pool, gym, tennis, pickleball, golf and spa. It is a great vacation for an active family. We hired the Nannies that were wonderful to watch the babies so we could do activities with the older children. They were kind and loving. |The staff at the Handover Windward was exceptional! They made our trip the best. Chef is amazing! Every meal was delicious and he accommodated all our likes- even the 3 and 5 year olds! Dugie makes the best cocktails and every night our table setting was different and beautiful. Charmaine and Marcia kept the house organized and nice and clean and we loved having clean clothes in our room every day. Zek and Clark kept the golf carts up and running and the pool clean. The downstairs bedrooms could use some updating but the rest of the house is great.

My family and I had an unforgettable vacation at the Tryall Club. Although I’ve been visiting Jamaica since childhood, this was my first time staying at Tryall—and it far exceeded all my expectations. We stayed at the villa Bye the Way, and it was absolute perfection.||The true heart of our experience, as always in Jamaica, was the people. Our house manager, Nisha, made us feel like family. She cares for the villa as though it were her own—everything was beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished. We were especially fortunate to have her cook for us each evening. Her menus featured traditional Jamaican cuisine prepared with the freshest local ingredients. Every meal was amazing, but standouts included her jerk chicken, curry shrimp, fresh mango-ginger juice, and the delicious made-to-order breakfasts each morning.||It was also my mother’s birthday during our stay, and Nisha went above and beyond—baking a homemade cake and helping us create a truly special celebration we’ll never forget.||Our driver, Lincoln, was equally wonderful. He was incredibly accommodating, always available even on short notice, and had great recommendations for excursions around the island. Together, Nisha and Lincoln made a phenomenal team—we wouldn’t consider staying at any villa without them.||The Tryall Club itself had everything we could’ve wanted: pristine pools, well-kept tennis courts, a fully equipped fitness center, and although we didn’t have time to play, the golf course looked immaculate. The beach was gorgeous, with attentive staff providing excellent service to match the stunning views.||While some might hesitate to visit Jamaica in the summer, we found it delightful. The temperatures were cooler than back home in the States, and the constant ocean breeze made it even more enjoyable.||We were truly sad to leave and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We just wrapped up our third stay at Bee Happy in the Tryall Club, and wow—what an amazing week it was.||Bee Happy itself is stunning. The design and decor are both beautiful and inviting, and the villa is always spotless. We love how every little thing has been considered—like the cozy living spaces and that gorgeous covered veranda with views that just take your breath away. It’s the kind of place that feels both luxurious and comfortable, making it perfect for a family getaway.||But honestly, the real star of the show is Miss Paulette. Her kindness and hospitality are unmatched. She always seemed to know what we needed before we even asked, and her cooking is absolutely fantastic. My daughters are still raving about her fried dumplings at breakfast—seriously, they talked about them every morning! It’s those little touches and her wonderful care that made our stay so special.||We’re already thinking about our next trip. Tryall is a favorite for us, and Bee Happy, especially with Miss Paulette looking after us, is truly something special. We can’t wait to go back!

The staff were very attentive, respectful and friendly. The villa is big enough to accommodate our group of 11 people. Although it was an amazing week we all had, I think it’s a bit expensive overall. I’ve stayed in several luxurious places, but this has been one that you get less for your money. We budgeted for this trip, but the cost of the food was higher than expected. What really surprised me was that everything is in USD.

We had a wonderful visit to Tryall at Bye the Way. Nisha was a wonderful house manager and made the best meals. She was so accommodating with the little kids and went out of the way to make everything easy for our family. Her meals were delicious and we especially enjoyed her baking. We got to spend some time playing tennis again which also added to the visit. We love visiting Tryall and how well the staff take care of every detail right down to reservations. We will be back

Our vist to Jamaica was wonderful! We stayed at the Villa Amana at Tryall Club in Hanover, Jamaica. From the moment we arrived to our moment of departure, the staff exceeded our expectations. The entire staff, Marland, Devon, Renata, Juanita, Karlene, Sayon and Adrian were professional, warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.||The property and its surrounding landscape was very clean, well cared for and maintained. The photos posted online do no justice to the beauty of the villa when seen in person.||Chef Devon was amazing. He attended to our group's various dietary needs and restrictions. Whether gluten-free, dairy-free, or pescatarian, all were creatively and deliciously accommodated. Chef Devon even added a special touch by baking birthday cakes when he learned we were celebrating birthdays. He graciously made each guest feel well cared for.||The laundress also gave us all a special treat. We referred to her as "the fairy". Without being seen, dirty clothing left in our room would disappear only to later reappear clean, folded and ironed, if needed. We were delighted to return home with suitcases filled with clean clothes.||Our group enjoyed the property activities that were available. We especially enjoyed the bird watching tour and history of the property guided by Karen on the administrative team. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was contagious. She kept the attention of even the teenagers in our group.||Now Marland, the Head of House at Villa Amana deserves some accolades. He quickly picked up on individual preferences and was able to address specific requests almost before the request was spoken. He also had an uncanny ability to keep us organized and prepared for our various planned activities. That skill was very helpful to us as we were a large group with several things happening each day.||The combination of the beautiful villa, the cleanliness with which it is maintained, the professional, friendly service and the personalized attention from the staff made this vacation thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable!

We just returned from a weeklong stay at Sugar Hill in Tryall Club with my extended family of 15 people (8 adults, 7 kids) and it was a top to bottom 10 out of 10 experience. It was all of our first time here and we were all close to tears when it was time to leave! Cannot say enough about Chef Marika, Butler Kirk and the rest of the staff at Sugar Hill. They went above and beyond and helped make our trip so special for everyone. The grounds of Tryall are immaculate. The beach club and pool is gorgeous, well-staffed and never ever felt crowded. We golfed, we played pickleball and tennis, visited the spa and each experience was perfect. It was so fun to explore the grounds on the golf carts. We enjoyed meeting many other guests all of whom shared in our love of Tryall. If you are considering a trip here you will not be disappointed, until you have to leave!

This was our second trip to Tryall.|The first stay was in 2023 at the Haystack Villa, and most recently (May 2025) at the Amana Villa.|Both stays were exceptional.|I can't say enough both staff. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the team provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. |We will definitely be back!||Thank you again for the unforgettable memories ❤️
